ALLAH Azzawajal says: “O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may attain TAQWA.” (Qur’an 2:183). So from this verse, it is clear that; 🔹 The goal is TAQWA that's self-control, ALLAH-consciousness, discipline, so if Ramadan ends and nothing changes in our ways of life, we’ve missed the point. Fasting is not jus...

Imaam al-Shafi'i may ALLAH be pleased with him said: “If people reflected deeply on this suurah alone, it would be sufficient for them.” Historical Context: Revealed in Makkah, when Muslims were few and under pressure. Verse 1 أَرَأَيْتَ...

Yaum al-ithnayn, 2nd day of Rajab, 1447AH, Monday, 22nd December, 2025.  BismilLah.  Surah Al-Masad (also called Al-Lahab) is a Makkan surah revealed early in the mission of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam. This surah is one of the miracles of the Qur’an as it contained live story that could have been challenged if the Qur'an was truly from ALLAH Azzawajal or not.  When the Prophet sallallahu alaihi  wasallam was commanded to publicly call his people to Islam, he gathered Quraysh at Mount Ṣafā and warned them of ALLAH’S punishment due to their idol worship. His uncle Abu Lahab responded with arrogance and hatred, saying: “Tabban laka! (May you be ruined, destroyed, perish), Is this what you gathered us for?”  This surah was then revealed as a divine response, not merely condemning Abu Lahab ...

This suurah was then revealed to clarify the absolute Oneness of ALLAH Azzawajal and to purify belief from all forms of shirk (associating partners with ALLAH Azzawajal). Text, Meaning & Commentary Verse 1:  قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ “Say to mankind: HE is ALLAH, the One and Only.” Commentary: Ahad means absolutely One, unique, incomparable. ALLAH Azzawajal is One in: HIS essence, HIS names and attributes, HIS right to be worshipped. Unlike humans, ALLAH’S oneness is not numerical (not “one of many”), but exclusive and unmatched. Verse 2  ٱللَّهُ...

We praise HIM, we seek HIS help, and we seek HIS forgiveness. We seek refuge in ALLAH Azzawajal from the evil of our souls and from our bad deeds. Whomsoever ALLAH Azzawajal guides, none can misguide, and whomsoever HE leaves astray, none can guide. We all bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship except ALLAH Azzawajal alone, and that Muhammad ﷺ is HIS servant and Messenger. Dear brothers and sisters in Islaam, ALLAH Azzawajal says: > “Say to mankind: HE is ALLAH, the One. ALLAH, the Eternal Refuge. HE neither begets nor is born. And there is nothing comparable to HIM.” (QUR’AN 112:1–4). This short suurah, only four verses, carries the foundation of our faith. It teaches us who ALLAH Azzawajal truly is. ALLAH is ONE, not one among many, but One without partner, without e...

Yaum Al-khamis, 20th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1447AH, Thursday, 11th December, 2025. BismilLah. This surah is paired with Surah Al-Falaq. Together, they are called al-Mu‘awwidhatayn (the two chapters of seeking protection). The Prophet ﷺ used them regularly for ruqyah, protection, and morning/evening adhkār. This suurah is deeply connected to: ● Seeking ALLAH'S protection from spiritual harm. This suurah focuses on the unseen forces of whispers, doubts, anxiety, and temptations caused by Shayṭān and also by whispers from humans. ● The Prophet ﷺ was affected by magic. Many scholars mention that these two surahs were revealed when the Prophet ﷺ was afflicted by siḥr (magic) and then ALLAH Azzawajal revealed the Mu‘awwidhatayn as a cure. After reciting them, he was fully relieved. ● A universal suurah for all people. It addresses every human be...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-ithnayn, 17th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1447AH, Monday, 8th December, 2025. TAFSEER OF SURAH AL-FĀTIḤAH WITH CONTEXT, COMMENTARY, MEANINGS, and PRACTICAL LESSONS WE CAN APPLY IN OUR DAILY LIFE. BismilLah. Surah Al-Fātiḥah is the opening of the Qur’an, recited in every unit of prayer (ṣalāh). It is a dua’ taught by ALLAH Azzawajal HIMSELF, a conversation between a servant and His LORD. The Prophet ﷺ said: “There is no prayer for the one who does not recite Umm al-Kitāb (Sahih al-Bukhari). This shows its spiritual weight: Our salah is a conversation with ALLAH Azzawajal. Let's study it's meaning, lessons and reflections.  1️⃣  بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ “In the Name of ALLAH, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful.” We begin everything with ALLAH’S name, symbolising dependence, not independence. “Ar-Raḥmān” = ALLAH’S mercy that covers everything. “Ar-Raḥīm” = a special, continuous mercy for the believers. Lesson: Begin your task...
GOOD DEEDS WITHOUT FAITH ALLAH (AZZAWAJAL) IS NULL AND VOID. DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum As-sabt, 15th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1447AH, Saturday, 6th December, 2025.  BismilLah.  ALLAH Azzawajal command the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam to say to mankind in Qur'an 14:18 and I quote; “The example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is that their deeds are like ashes blown violently by the wind on a stormy day. They have no power to gain anything from what they have earned. That is extreme misguidance.” Explanation of the verse.  1. “Their deeds are like ashes…” ALLAH Azzawajal gives a powerful parable: the deeds of those who reject HIM, by not adhering to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam, no matter how many good works they think they have done or doing, are like ashes which have no weight, cannot be gathered, and are easily scattered. This means their deeds will not benefit them because they lack the foundation of eemaan (faith). 2...
