THE FIVE (5) DAILY SALAAT IS THE MAP FOR GUIDANCE AND BLESSINGS.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum al-ithnayn, 10th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1447AH, Monday, 1st December, 2025

BismilLah.

ALLAH Azzawajal says in Qur'an 29:45,

Oh my servant Mohammed, sallallahu alaihi wasallam,

“Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book, and establish the prayer. Indeed, prayer prevents indecency and wrongdoing. And the remembrance of ALLAH is greater. And ALLAH knows what you do.”

Meaning & Explanation:

1. “Recite what has been revealed to you…”ALLAH AZZAWAJAL commands the Prophet ﷺ, and by extension the believers, to continue reciting, studying, and acting upon the Qur’an. Recitation is not just reading; it includes understanding, reflecting, and following its guidance.

2. “And establish the prayer…”Not just praying, but establishing prayer properly with sincerity, humility, concentration (khushu‘), and on time.

3. “Indeed, prayer prevents indecency (fahshā’) and wrongdoing (munkar).”

When salah is performed with khushū‘, it creates a barrier between a person and sins. It purifies the heart, disciplines the soul, and weakens the desire for sins. Fahshā’ = major immoral sins (e.g., zina, shamelessness). Munkar = all forms of disobedience, injustice, evil acts.

4. “And the remembrance of ALLAH Azzawajal is greater.”Scholars gave two explanations:

1. Remembering ALLAH Azzawajal during prayer is greater than anything else in prayer.

2. The remembrance of ALLAH Azzawajal in general is greater than everything else you do, because it keeps the heart alive and protected.

5. “And ALLAH Azzawajal knows what you do.”A reminder that HE sees our prayers, our sincerity, our hidden deeds, and our struggles. To be continued tomorrow with some supporting hadith about this beautiful verse. May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum athalaatha, 11th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1447AH, Tuesday, 2nd December, 2025. LESSONS & REFLECTIONS FROM QUR’AN 29:45. BismilLah.

Let's continue from yesterday's reminder.

1. Salah changes our character

Real prayer makes you kinder, more honest, patient, and disciplined.

If a person prays but still lies, cheats, or abuses others, then the heart of the prayer is missing.

2. Reading Qur’an + Salah = Strong Iman

ALLAH AZZAWAJAL links two things: Reading Qur’an and Establishing Salah

These are the two strongest sources of guidance.

A household filled with Qur’an and prayer becomes peaceful and protected.

3. Salah protects us from sin

If someone struggles with: zina, addiction, anger, bad friends, haram browsing, lying etc, then strengthen your prayer first as it slowly builds an inner shield.

4. ALLAH'S remembrance is the greatest Dhikr that keeps a person calm, confident, protects from satanic influences. A heart that remembers ALLAH Azzawajal rarely falls into major sins.

5. ALLAH Azzawajal sees our effort. Even if our salah is not perfect, ALLAH Azzawajal sees our efforts, intentions, consistency, struggle to improve, desire to come close to HIM etc. This brings comfort, especially for people fighting bad habits.

6. Teach children that Salah is not just movements. Explain that, Salah is talking to ALLAH Azzawajal as ALLAH listens. It makes the heart clean, it helps you avoid bad behaviour.

May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...

ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
