THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 23rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Friday, 30th November, 2018). WHAT ARE THE DAILY, WEEKLY, MONTHLY and YEARLY ACTS of WORSHIP in ISLAM?. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Firstly, The topic of acts of worship and obedience is very broad, and there is no room to discuss it in full here but will just summarize it as follows: The daily acts of worship include the five daily prayers and doing wuduu for them; using the miswaak when doing wuduu and praying; praying in congregation (jamaa‘ah); the regular Sunnah prayers, Duha prayer, qiyaam al-layl (voluntary prayers at night); Witr prayer; the adhkaar for morning and evening; adhkaar to be recited by day and by night (when entering and leaving the home, when entering and leaving the mosque, when entering and leaving the washroom, when eating and drinking, following the prescribed prayers, and so on); repeating after the mu’adhdhin etc. The weekly acts of worship include Jumu‘ah prayer; reading Su...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Thursday, 29th November, 2018). IF WE WANT ALLAH TO GRANT US ANYTHING, WE MUST APPRECIATE THE LITTLE WE HAVE. Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Our Life as Muslims is a Gift from ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty and the Majestic). We can only polish it with obedience to ALLAH or corrupt it with disobedience. Today before you say an unkind word, Think of someone who can't speak then say Alhamdulillah. Before you complain about the taste of your food to your wife etc, Think of someone who has nothing to eat then say Alhamdulillah. Before you complain about your husband or wife, Think of someone who's crying out to ALLAH for a companion then say Alhamdulillah. Today before you complain about life, Think of someone who died younger than you, healthier than you, wealthier than you etc then say Alhamdulillah. Before you complain about your children, Think of someone who desires children but they're barr...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulArbaā, 21st day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Wednesday, 28th November, 2018). DUA CAN BE BEAUTIFIED AND PERFECTED BY CERTAIN ACTIONS. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. 1. Have Wudu, face Qibla, be neat, clean attentive knowing you are sitting in front of ALLAH to seek HIS HELP. 2. Raise both hands up to the shoulder with palms open facing up or be in sujuud after your last sunnah salaat rakaats. 3. First Praise ALLAH using HIS Beautiful attributes like Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyuum. Yaa Gafuurur Raheem, laailaaha illaa Anta. Anta mulkus Samaawaati wal Ard etc 4. Then send Salawaat to the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam, that's Allahummah Sally Alaa Muhammad ...to the end. 5. Then make dua first using the recommended sunnah Dua such as Rabbanaa Aatinaa Fiddunyaa Hasanatan wafil Aahirati hasanatan wakinaa azaabannaar, then add your pressing need in your Dua and finalise with another salawaat to the Prophet as shield for the dua. 6. Be insistent-repe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaathah, 20th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Tuesday, 27th November, 2018). The Big Question: Who Made Us BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Unfortunately today, you find even some Muslims who asks the big questions: “Who made us,” and “Why are we here? Etc because of their scientific education” Most of us have been brought up more on science than religion, and to believe in the Big Bang and evolution more than ALLAH (Al-Haaliq, The CREATOR) is a disaster in your own life. Even if common sense is to be applied, Which makes more sense? And is there any reason why the theories of science and creationism cannot coexist? The Big Bang may explain the origin of the universe, but it doesn’t explain the origin of the primordial dust cloud. This dust cloud (which, according to the theory, drew together, compacted and then exploded) had to come from somewhere isn't it?. After all, it contained enough matter to form not just our galaxy, but the billion...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-ithnayn, 19th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Monday, 26th November, 2018). WHAT IS THE MEANING OF TAWHEED AND WHAT ARE IT'S CATEGORIES?. BismilLah. TAWHEED in Arabic means attributing Oneness to ALLAH and describing HIM as being ONE and UNIQUE, with no partner or peer in HIS Essence and Attributes. The Arabs say waahid, ahad and waheed, all meaning one. ALLAH is Waahid, meaning that HE has no rivals or peers in any way. So Tawheed means knowing ALLAH is One, with none like unto HIM. Whoever does not acknowledge ALLAH in these terms and does not describe HIM as being One with no partner or associate does not believe in Tawheed.  It may be defined as follows: Believing that ALLAH is One with no partner or associate in HIS Lordship (ruboobiyyah), divinity (uloohiyyah) or names and attributes (al-asma’ wa’l-sifaat).  This word, Tawheed and its derivatives are used with this meaning in the Qur’aan and Sunnah. For example:  ALLAH says:  “Say (O Muh...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 18th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Sunday, 25th November, 2018). QURAN, THE LIVE MIRACLE FOR MANKIND AND JINNKIND. BismilLah. How do you explain to your non Muslim colleagues when they ask you to explain to them all about the Quran?. Let's study together on this first day of the week. Basically, we can reliably say that Quran is the direct SPEECH of the CREATOR ALLAH (The Mighty GOD in English), a Final Testament or Revelation for Humankind. The Quran, the last revealed words of GOD, is the primary source of every Muslim’s faith and practice. It deals with all the subjects which concern human beings: wisdom, doctrine, worship, transactions, law, etc., but its basic theme is the relationship between God, ALLAH and HIS creatures.  At the same time, it provides guidelines and detailed teachings for a just society, proper human conduct, and an equitable economic system. Note that the Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu ala...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Sabt, 17th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Saturday, 24th November, 2018). THE MEANING OF IBAADAH IN ISLAM . BismilLah. In Islam, Ibaadah basically means all aspects of worship and in essence, all our Islamic ways of life must be within the shariah meaning how ALLAH and HIS Messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam has commanded us to live our lives. ALLAH Ta'ala states in HIS Revelation to mankind (The Quran) that: "I did not create the Jinn, nor mankind, except to worship ME."  [Quran 51:56]. Ibaadah: worship in Islam is to love ALLAH our creator the most love with most humility, it also involves hope, fear, trust, gratitude, ........etc. Imam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) said, "Ibaadah is a collective term for everything that ALLAH loves and is pleased with from amongst sayings and inward and outward actions."  Ibaadah is obedience to ALLAH by carrying out what HE has commanded through tongues of HIS Messengers. Imam Ibn...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulJumuat, 16th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Friday, 23rd November, 2018). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN. BismilLah. We've been hearing the word DEEN in many times in our Islamic studies but do we truly know the complete meaning to these great word? Actually the word ‘deen’ has several meanings. Arabic is a rich language to the extend that no single English word or phrase can do justice to one Arabic name or term. The first type of meaning is SOVEREIGNTY, POWER, LORDSHIP, KINGSHIP, or RULERSHIP. The second type is the opposite of this, i.e. SUBMISSION, OBEDIENCE, SERVICE or SLAVERY. The third type is to bring to account, to judge, or to dispense reward and punishment for actions. All those three uses are found in the Qur’an. ALLAH says: The only (true) Deen in the sight of ALLAH is (man’s) self-surrender (to HIM). (Aal `Imran 3:19). Here, deen is that way of life in which we recognize ALLAH alone as the possessor of all power and majesty ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 15th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Thursday, 22nd November, 2018). TAQWA (CONSCIOUSNESS OF ALLAH) IS OUR TOPIC TODAY. Bismillah Taqwa or Consciousness of ALLAH (Al-Khaaliq, The Creator), is one of the most important concepts found in the Qur’an and sunnah (teachings of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam). It could be described as the foundation of the religion. It has been the command of ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty and the Majestic) for all of the Messengers from Aadam to Jesus Christ Peace be upon them then to the final MESSENGER Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam: ALLAH says in the Qur'an; “To ALLAH belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth. ALLAH ADVISED or Commanded the people of the Scripture(Jews and Christians) *BEFORE YOU * and you also [O Muslims] to have taqwa of ALLAH [CONSCIOUSNESS of ALLAH and keep your duty to Him].” (Surah al-Nisaa:131). ALLAH (Al-Hamid, The All Praiseworthy) inf...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'à, 14th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Wednesday, 21st November, 2018). OUR AQEEDAH AS MUSLIMS. Bismillaah Aqeedah refers to those matters which are believed in, with certainty and conviction, in one’s heart and soul. They are not tainted with any doubt or uncertainty. The Arabic word ‘aqeedah stems from the root ‘aqada, which conveys meanings of certainty, affirmation, confirmation, etc. In Islam, ‘aqeedah is the matter of knowledge. The Muslim must believe in his heart and have faith and conviction, with no doubts or misgivings, because ALLAH has told him about ‘aqeedah in His Book and via His Revelations to HIS Messenger (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him).  The principles of ‘aqeedah are those which ALLAH has commanded us to believe in, as mentioned in the aayah "The Messenger believes in what has been sent down to him from HIS Lord, and so do the believers. Each one believes in ALLAH, HIS Angels, HIS Books and HIS Messenge...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaathah, 13th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Tuesday, 20th November, 2018). PURIFICATION OF OUR HEARTS continues from yesterday's reminder. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. This is a bit long but let's use just 3 minutes to boost our eemaan be-iznilLah. What happens when we ridicule, offend, mock someone? They’ll most probably think of revenge and think of a way to get back at us even more offensively. If we follow this vicious cycle, how then will our hearts find true peace? And wouldn’t the feelings of anger and revenge overwhelm our hearts and fill it with darkness and negativity? If you think about it, why is ALLAH (Al-Khaaliq, The Creator) telling us that? Why is HE giving us these instructions? How does this benefit HIM? The reality is, it doesn’t benefit HIM, it benefits us. ALLAH (Al-Bari’, The Rightful) wants us to maintain the light and peace of our hearts, because when you have that, you’ll have more clarity and wisdom to per...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ithnayn, 12th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Monday, 19th November, 2018). PURIFICATION OF OUR HEARTS. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. One of the most beautiful, most soothing and most heartwarming moments you could have is when you realize how much ALLAH, The Most High, is protecting and taking care of your own heart. This is so much felt in Qur’anic verses where ALLAH (Al-Muqeet, The Nourisher) is telling us how HE wants us to speak to one another…Like here for example: ” ... And speak to people good [words] …” (Qur’an 2: 83). The Arabic ayah actually refers to good words as “husna” which also means beautiful. So ALLAH is instructing us to use not only good, but beautiful words with people. Note also here: “And tell My servants to say that which is best…” ( Qur’an 17: 53). Here, HE is making us carefully think about each word we utter, so that we do not just speak our minds in a careless/rude way claiming that this is our spontaneous reaction. ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 11th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Sunday, 18th November, 2018). EACH OF US WILL REGRET WHEN WE DIE says THE PROPHET MOHAMMED sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Our beloved messenger of ALLAH (Al-Muhaymin, The Guardian, The Preserver, The Overseeing Protector) said in an authentic narration that everyone is going to regret after his death, a believer or a disbeliever. A believer will regret because he wish he could have done more of the good deeds so that his reward will be much more to be among those in Jannat who are above him in rank and the disbeliever will regret because of the heap of punishment that he will be undergoing. Each of these category will wish they are giving the opportunity to come back to this world to either do something more or do something different. when we die we will wish we are giving the chance to have another few hours more, so that we can recite the Quran more, Offer more sunnah salat, Do...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Sabt, 10th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Saturday, 17th November, 2018). SEEKING FORGIVENESS REGULARLY. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Satan love to make us feel that ALLAH (Al-Kabeer, The Great) will not forgive sins we commit always so no need to seek forgiveness. That's false. ALLAH, The Most MERCIFUL love to forgive without considering your sins and repentance yesterday. Strive to stop your sins and at the same time never stop seeking forgiveness for your sins. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A servant committed a sin and he said: O ALLAH, forgive my sin! ALLAH the Exalted says: My servant has committed a sin and he knows he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds him accountable. Then the servant returned to his sin and he said: O ALLAH, forgive my sin! ALLAH says: My servant has committed a sin and he knows he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds him accountable. Then the servant r...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulJumuat, 9th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Friday, 16th November, 2018). OUR MINI-EID REMINDER. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. AlhamdulilLah for HIS guidance and blessings and granting us another Eid day of the week. First, we should strive to prepare for the jumuat by cutting our nails, clearing our private parts, performing ghusul(pure Islamic bath) as follows; just make up your mind that you are going to take your ghusul for jumuat that’s all. You can first take your normal bath to clean any dirt or first wash ur private parts then make full wuduu, then pour water from your head to wash your right side, then the left side. Make sure your entire body is then washed properly including your mouth and nose etc. After that recite the normal dua we do after wuduu when you come out of the bathroom. If you don't know how please ask me. This same ghusul should be performed after sunnah with your partner, after women's monthly cycle etc. As our bel...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 8th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Thursday, 15th November, 2018). WHAT IS THE WISDOM BEHIND TAWAAF (circumambulating) THE KAABA? BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. As Muslims we don't do anything as we wish. We follow the commands of ALLAH (As-Sabur, The Patient), the Creator, HIS Messenger or consensus of scholars base on Qur'an and Sunnah. Even how to sleep, drink, eat, talk, walk etc must be in accordance with Sunnah. Similarly, Circumambulating the Kaaba is part of the command of ALLAH (Al-‘Afuww, The Pardoner, The Effacer of Sins) through HIS Messenger and it represents the idea of oneness. The meaning regarding the social life is not to leave unity and to try to maintain this unity regardless of our status, colour, nationality etc. The Prophet did it and we must do it because we know the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam did nothing other than what ALLAH, The CREATOR commanded him to do.    ALLAH Almighty states the following...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Arbaā, 7th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Wednesday, 14th November, 2018). EASY ROAD TO PARADISE. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. ALLAH (Al-Ghaffar, The Ever Forgiving) says in the Qur’an; “O believers! Fear ALLAH as HE aught to be feared” which means “O believers! Do not approach that which HE has forbidden you, and do not delay in fulfilling what HE has ordered you to do.” Then ALLAH continues: “and die not except in a state of Islam.” It is clear that death is not within our control. However, what is in our control is our condition at the time of death, that it may be auspicious for us. The way to achieve that is to protect ourselves from every form of sin at all times, and whenever a sin is committed, to hasten towards Taubah (repentance) and Istighfar (begging forgiveness from Allah). ALLAH (swt) has kept the doors of repentance open, so that a person keeps committing sins and keeps repenting and ALLAH keeps forgiving, until the time when the ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-ithnayn, 5th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Monday, 12th November, 2018) RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE IN ISLAM. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Our beloved Prophet Mohammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam to mankind, faced much difficulty and opposition in his own birth place, the city of Mecca. He was eventually forced to migrate to Medina. But in spite of all the opposition and even physical torture that he himself and his followers suffered in Mecca, Prophet Muhammad always approached the unbelievers of Mecca with tolerance. At one stage of his mission, the Prophet read to them a short chapter from the revelation: “O you who do not believe! I worship not what you worship, and you are not worshipping what I worship; nor am 1 worshipping what you worship; neither art you worshipping what I worship. Therefore, to you your religion; and to me my religion!” (QURAN 109). When Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam migrated to Medina, he found that besides th...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 4th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Sunday, 11th November, 2018) The Acceptance of Good Deeds in Islam. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Before a Muslim moves another step forward or performs any act or deed, he/she is obliged to acquire knowledge in the path that will lead him/her to the best end, that is, having his good deeds accepted by ALLAH (Al-Wadud, The Loving, The Kind One). It is important to note that what counts is not the number of good deeds or acts of worship performed, for there may be a person who performs many good deeds, yet, all what he gains is tiredness in this life and hardships in the hereafter. Don't finish the act before asking if it's haraam or halaal. The Messenger of ALLAH (Al-Ba’ith, The Raiser of The Dead) said, “There may be a Sa’im (fasting person) who only gains hunger from his Siyam (fast), and there may be a Qa’im (who stands up in prayer at night) who only gains Sahar (staying up late) from his Qiyam!...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Sabt, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Saturday, 10th November, 2018) DIFFICULTIES IN LIFE ARE A BLESSINGS FOR WE BELIEVERS. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. If life has been difficult for you and calamities after calamities befall you, hear the good news from the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam): 'Trials will continue to befall the believing men and women, with regard to themselves, their children and their wealth, until they meet ALLAH (Malik-al-Mulk, The Owner of All Sovereignty) with no sin on them.' (Tirmidhi). Subhaan Allah! No sin?! And what is it from this world that you wouldn't give up, just to meet ALLAH (Dhu-al-Jalaliwa-al-Ikram, The Lord of Majesty and Generosity) with no sin!! This narration indicates that, the difficulties we face due to our own disobedience to ALLAH (An-Nuur, The Light) is a means to expiate for our sins. That's why non Muslims sin but still enjoy because they have no share of paradise when t...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulJumuat, 2nd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Friday, 9th November, 2018). HOW TO PROOF QUR'AN IS FROM ALLAH, THE MIGHTY GOD. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Alhamdulillah for granting us another blessed day of the week. Non Muslims often ask muslims to proof Qur'an is from God. Unfortunately most of us fail to respond properly because we've chosen not to study the Qur'an properly. ALLAH (Al-Hakam, The Judge, The Arbitrator) has challenged anyone in many places in the Qur'an to proof why they think quran is not from HIM so the first basic response to such question is why do you think QUR'AN IS not from GOD? Have you study it? Have you done any research on it yourself? They can't respond positively because whoever strive to study the Qur'an will be guided by the Qur'an be-iznilLah so let's challenge them to study the Qur'an don't argue with them. You can't claim something is wrong base on what people sa...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 1st day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Thursday, 8th November, 2018). WHY WIVES ARE COMMANDED TO OBEY THEIR HUSBANDS IN ISLAM. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. What the Muslim has to do when he or she learns the ruling of Islam is to submit to it and believe in it even if he or she does not know the wisdom behind it. ALLAH (Al-Hakeem, The Wise) says:  “It is not for a believer, man or woman, when ALLAH (Al-Qawee, The Strong) and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys ALLAH (Al-Mateen, The Firm, The Steadfast) and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a plain error” [al-Ahzaab 33:36]. When a man and a woman come together in marriage and live together, there are bound to be differences in opinion between them, and one party must have the final say in order to resolve the issue, otherwise the differences will multiply and disputes will increase. So there has to be someone in ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arbaā, 29th day of SAFAR 1440, (Wednesday, 7th November, 2018). WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO SAY QUR'AN IS A LIVING MIRACLE. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's note something ALLAH (Al-Ahad, The One, the All Inclusive, The Indivisible) says from the beginning of Suuratul Baqarah. ALLAH (As-Samad, The Self Sufficient) says Zaalikal Kitaabu LaaRayba Feeh HUDAN LIL MUTTAQEEN. Basically means, The Quran you've been waiting for has arrived and it is a GUIDANCE for those who decide to believe. The wisdom behind the word Hudan is beautiful Allahu Akbar. Let me give you a good scenario. We can say this motor is running so fast means actively running. But if we say this motor runs fast, it means it has a potential of running fast but it may be standing. Similarly when ALLAH (Al-Awwal, The First) says Hudan lil Muttaqeen, it doesn't mean Quran is a guide or has potential of guidance but rather Quran has a live guidance meaning ongoing guidance for...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaathah, 28th day of SAFAR 1440, (Tuesday, 6th November, 2018). RULINGS ON ABORTION. BismilLah. First of all, let me remind all of us that we cannot obey ANYONE when it comes to any disobedience to ALLAH(Al-Wadud, The Loving, The Kind One). What I mean is if your husband or parents request you to do something which goes against ALLAH(Al-Hakeem, The Wise) and HIS MESSENGER, you must decline by reminding them about what ALLAH(Al-Mujib, The Responsive, The Answerer) and HIS Messenger said. Scholars based on QUR'AN and Sunnah ruled on this topic as follows; 1. It is not permissible to abort a pregnancy at any stage unless there is a legitimate reason, and within very precise limits.   2. If the pregnancy is in the first stage, which is a period of forty days, and aborting it serves a legitimate purpose or will ward off harm, then it is permissible to abort it. But aborting it at this stage for fear of the difficulty of raising children or...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 26th day of SAFAR 1440, (Sunday, 4th November, 2018). WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN QUR'AN AND KITAAB? WE KNOW ALLAH USES BOTH IN HIS MASSAGE FOR MANKIND AND JINN KIND. HOW DO THEY RELATE?. BismilLah. This is a bit long but very beneficial knowledge so don't miss reading it. Understanding the Words Kitaab and Qur'an which are two popular names ALLAH (As-Sabur, The Patient, The Timeless.) uses for HIS BOOK. Kitaab comes from the Arabic word Kataba which means to write and at the time of the Prophet sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam or olden days they write on stones, woods, leafs etc, so they couldn't edit or change what they've written on these olden materials so ALLAH (Ar-Rashid, The Guide, Infallible Teacher and Knower) using the word Kitaab has a profound reality or uniqueness of the QURAN which means Quran is something written down and no room for editing. We can't edit or change anything in the Qur'an. Even th...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 25th day of SAFAR 1440, (Saturday, 3rd November, 2018). PRAISING ALLAH(Al-Aziz, The Almighty, The Self Sufficient, The Most Honorable) FIRST BEFORE SEEKING HIS HELP. BismilLah. It's very disrespectful and not right to just raise our hands seeking help, protection etc from ALLAH(Al-Jabbar, The Powerful, The Irresistible, The Compeller, The Most Lofty, The Restorer/Improver of Affairs) without praising HIM first. Even on Earth, we all witness especially in Africa such as Ghana, how chiefs are praised before even talking to them. You cannot just go in front of any Chief and start talking without praising him. In Islam we are thought to First praise ALLAH(Al-Mutakabbir, The Tremendous) using HIS names and attributes then send praises to the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam next before even praying for yourself, family and other Muslims. ALLAH(Al-Alim, The All Knowing, The Omniscient) has described HIMSELF in the Quran through HIS Names...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 23rd day of SAFAR 1440, (Thursday, 1st November, 2018). HOW TO EXHIBIT TRUE/REAL PATIENCE. BismilLah. Yesterday, a brother shared a beautiful true story to me and I decided to use the story to prepare this reminder. Let's read it twice and implement the lessons in it please. There is the saying by the wise that; A fish can say to the sea, you can never see my tears, because I am in the water. The sea can respond back that, "But I can feel your tears, because you are within my heart." This is exactly how we are; No one will feel us except those who are truly close to our hearts and no one is closer to our hearts than ALLAH (The Most MERCIFUL) and HIS Messenger sallallahu alaihi. Are you facing any difficulties that you feel ALLAH has neglected you or not listening to you? Check out this true story. Arwah bin al-Zubayr's leg was cut off because of a disease he suffered, on the same day the dearest of his seven sons die...
