THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 23rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Friday, 30th November, 2018). WHAT ARE THE DAILY, WEEKLY, MONTHLY and YEARLY ACTS of WORSHIP in ISLAM?. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Firstly, The topic of acts of worship and obedience is very broad, and there is no room to discuss it in full here but will just summarize it as follows: The daily acts of worship include the five daily prayers and doing wuduu for them; using the miswaak when doing wuduu and praying; praying in congregation (jamaa‘ah); the regular Sunnah prayers, Duha prayer, qiyaam al-layl (voluntary prayers at night); Witr prayer; the adhkaar for morning and evening; adhkaar to be recited by day and by night (when entering and leaving the home, when entering and leaving the mosque, when entering and leaving the washroom, when eating and drinking, following the prescribed prayers, and so on); repeating after the mu’adhdhin etc. The weekly acts of worship include Jumu‘ah prayer; reading Suurat al-Kahf on the night before Friday and on Friday; sending a lot of blessings upon the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on the night before Friday and on Friday; fasting on Mondays and Thursdays. Monthly acts of worship include fasting three days of every month (and it is preferable for that to be on al-ayaam al-beed, i.e., the 13th, 14th and 15th of the Hijri month). Annual or occasional acts of worship include: fasting in Ramadan; praying Taraweeh in congregation in the mosque; offering the Eid prayers; Hajj for those who are able to do so; giving zakaah for those for whom the conditions of it being obligatory are fulfilled; spending the last ten days of Ramadan in i‘tikaaf; fasting six days of Shawwaal; fasting ‘Ashoora’ and a day before it or after it; fasting the day of ‘Arafah; doing a lot of good deeds in the first ten days of Dhu’l-Hijjah. There are also deeds that are not connected to a particular time, so they are prescribed at all times, including deeds of the heart as well as physical actions. These include: offering voluntary prayers, observing voluntary fasts; ‘umrah; remembering ALLAH (dhikr); reading Qur’an; sending blessings upon the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him); supplication (du‘aa’); honouring one’s parents; upholding ties of kinship; giving charity; spreading the greeting of salaam (peace) among the Muslims; having a good attitude; controlling one’s tongue; loving ALLAH, fearing HIM and putting one’s hopes in HIM; putting one’s trust in HIM; contentment; certainty of faith; seeking HIS help, may HE be glorified and exalted. Remember today is Friday as such we should remember to prepare well for it. May ALLAH (Al-haadi, The Guide) keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless. I did not have a place to sleep. I walked in the dark looking for options and, unfortunately, a thief stole my empty purse with my ID. He was badly hit by a car in high speed as he fle...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 29th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 10th February 2024). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊. It's sunnah from the Prophet Muhammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Don't forget to offer your witir Salaat before sleeping or offer your two rakaats sha...
