THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 15th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Thursday, 22nd November, 2018). TAQWA (CONSCIOUSNESS OF ALLAH) IS OUR TOPIC TODAY. Bismillah Taqwa or Consciousness of ALLAH (Al-Khaaliq, The Creator), is one of the most important concepts found in the Qur’an and sunnah (teachings of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam). It could be described as the foundation of the religion. It has been the command of ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty and the Majestic) for all of the Messengers from Aadam to Jesus Christ Peace be upon them then to the final MESSENGER Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam: ALLAH says in the Qur'an; “To ALLAH belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth. ALLAH ADVISED or Commanded the people of the Scripture(Jews and Christians) *BEFORE YOU * and you also [O Muslims] to have taqwa of ALLAH [CONSCIOUSNESS of ALLAH and keep your duty to Him].” (Surah al-Nisaa:131). ALLAH (Al-Hamid, The All Praiseworthy) informs us about the happy people and what HE has prepared for them of esteem, and eternal pleasure. A6llah says in Qur'an 75:31 going, [إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازاً ] (Verily, for those who have Taqwa, there will be a success;) Ibn `Abbas said, "A place of enjoyable recreation.'' [حَدَآئِقَ وَأَعْنَـباً - وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتْرَاباً ] (And vineyards, and Kawa`ib Atrab,) meaning, wide-eyed maidens with fully developed breasts. Ibn `Abbas, Mujahid and others have said, (Kawa`ib) "This means round breasts. They meant by this that the breasts of these girls will be fully rounded and not sagging, because they will be virgins, equal in age. This means that they will only have one age.'' [وَكَأْساً دِهَاقاً ] (And a cup Dihaq.) Ibn `Abbas said, "Continuously filled.'' (Dihaq) "This means completely filled.'' Then ALLAH says, [لاَّ يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْواً وَلاَ كِذَباً ] (No Laghw shall they hear therein, nor lying;) meaning, there will not be any vain, worthless speech therein, nor any sinful lying. Rather, it will be the abode of peace, and everything that is in it will be free of any shortcomings. Allah then says, [جَزَآءً مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً حِسَاباً ] (Rewarded from your Lord with a sufficient gift.) meaning, `this that We have mentioned to you is what ALLAH will reward them with, and they will be given it by HIS favor and from HIM. It will be a kindness, mercy, gift, and recompense from Him. It will be sufficient, suitable, comprehensive and abundant. Let's note that Whoever wants a companion, ALLAH is enough for him! Whoever wants a proof, Quran is enough for him! Whoever wants a warning, death is enough for him! Whoever wants wealth, contentment is enough for him! And whoever these are not enough for, then hell fire will be enough for such person." May ALLAH forbid. May ALLAH (Al-Walee, The Protecting Friend, Patron and Helper) protect us from the torment of the hellfire and punishment of the grave and keep guiding our faith in HIM till we meet HIM in Jannat. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
