THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 26th day of SAFAR 1440, (Sunday, 4th November, 2018). WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN QUR'AN AND KITAAB? WE KNOW ALLAH USES BOTH IN HIS MASSAGE FOR MANKIND AND JINN KIND. HOW DO THEY RELATE?. BismilLah. This is a bit long but very beneficial knowledge so don't miss reading it. Understanding the Words Kitaab and Qur'an which are two popular names ALLAH (As-Sabur, The Patient, The Timeless.) uses for HIS BOOK. Kitaab comes from the Arabic word Kataba which means to write and at the time of the Prophet sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam or olden days they write on stones, woods, leafs etc, so they couldn't edit or change what they've written on these olden materials so ALLAH (Ar-Rashid, The Guide, Infallible Teacher and Knower) using the word Kitaab has a profound reality or uniqueness of the QURAN which means Quran is something written down and no room for editing. We can't edit or change anything in the Qur'an. Even though Quran was revealed orally, it was already written down including the arrangements so the duty of Angel Jibril alayhi salaam was to reveal, teach and explain to the Prophet in memory so that none can change it which is one of miracles of the Quran. So it's fix from Faatihah first then Baqarah etc, no room for change. Quran on the other hand comes from the word Qara'a which basically means to read or recite loud. So the Kitaab was revealed for us to recite it in dunya or on earth so basically what we recite is the Quran but the complete book and it's arrangements is what ALLAH (Al-Badi, The Incomparable, The Originator) termed as Al-Kitaab which ALLAH(An-Nur, The Light) wrote down to the 7th Heaven and was under the strong security guarding by special Angels (as ALLAH (Al-Ghani, The All Rich, The Independent) says Qiraamim Barara, a surrounded book). You may have noticed in the Quran that when ALLAH (Dhu-al-Jalaliwa-al-Ikram, The Lord of Majesty and Generosity) is speaking about Qur'an already on earth been recited ALLAH (Ar-Ra’uf, The Compassionate, The All Pitying) says Haazal Qur’an meaning THIS QUR'AN. ALLAH uses "THIS" because it's with us already. But in all Places when ALLAH (Al-Barr, The Most Kind and Righteous) uses Kitaab, ALLAH (Al-Akhir, The Last) says Zaalikal Kitaab "THAT BOOK". ALLAH uses "THAT" to mean the Quran which was written down on the 7th Heaven (Lauhil Mahfuuz) before revelation. So Before revelation, it was complete Kitaab so none can change, edit or rearrange it. So you don't see in the Quran ALLAH (Al-Qadir, The All Able) saying Zaalikal Qur'an or saying Haazal Kitaab Allahu Akbar. ALLAH (Al-Majid, The Illustrious, The Magnificent) rather says Alif Laam Meem, Zaalikal Kitaab LaaRayba Feeh and other place ALLAH (Al-Hayy, The Ever Living) then says Inna Haazal Qur’an Yahtee Lillatee Aqwam...etc The Qur'an is truly amazing. Allahu Akbar. So because Quran was revealed to us on earth for us to recite, ponder on its meanings and apply, it's close to us as such ALLAH says This Quran but for ALLAH to proof the entire Quran was written down far from us on the 7th Heaven, ALLAH says That Kitaab, meaning that complete book, the Quran which was been guarded for revelation and Al-Kitaab was mentioned about 6 times by ALLAH in the Quran but at only one place ALLAH uses Haazal Kitaab and the wisdom here is clear that the revelation is complete and the complete Kitaab is now with us near us Allahu Akbar. Hope we've gotten the miraculous nature of these two popular names ALLAH (Al-Mumit, The Bringer of Death, The Destroyer) uses to represent the same book for mankind and Jinnkind. Jazaakumullahu khairan for your responses. Some got this point right AlhamdulilLah. Let's study the Quran and we will love it be-iznilLah. May ALLAH (Al-Muhyi, The Giver of Life) increases us in beneficial knowledge. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
