THIRD REMINDER. Yaum Al-thalaatha, 18th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Tuesday, 31st July). HOW TO PERFORM HAJJ (PILGRIMAGE TO MACCA) CONTINUES. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's conclude on this topic. The Sunnah is to put on perfume when one wants to go to Makkah to do tawaaf after stoning the jamarat and shaving one’s head, because ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: “I used to apply perfume to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) before he entered ihraam and when he exited ihraam, before he circumambulated the House.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1539; Muslim, 1189.  Then after tawaaf and saa’i, he should go back to Mina and stay there for two night, the 11th and 12th of Dhu’l-Hijjah, and stone the three jamarats during those two days, when the sun has passed its zenith. It is better for him to go to the jamarats walking, but if he rides that is acceptable. He should stone the first jamarah, which is the one that is furthest away from Makkah and nex...
SECOND REMINDER. Yaum Al-thalaatha, 18th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Tuesday, 31st July). HOW TO PERFORM HAJJ (PILGRIMAGE TO MACCA) CONTINUES. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the first Reminder; When the sun rises on the day of ‘Arafah, the pilgrim travels from Mina to ‘Arafah and stops in Namirah until the time of Zuhr (Namirah is a place just before ‘Arafah), if he can do so. If he cannot do it, it does not matter because staying in Namirah is Sunnah but it is not obligatory. When the sun passes its zenith (i.e., when the time for Zuhr prayer begins), he should pray Zuhr and ‘Asr, two rak’ahs each, and join them together at the time of Zuhr, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did, so as to leave a lot of time for standing and making du’aa’.  Then after the prayer he should devote his time to making dhikr and du’aa’ and beseeching ALLAAH, and praying as he likes, raising his hands and facing the qiblah even if the mountain of ‘Arafah is b...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaum Al-thalaatha, 18th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Tuesday, 31st July). HOW TO PERFORM HAJJ (PILGRIMAGE TO MACCA) CONTINUES. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from our topic since Sunday; please ensure you've read from the beginning to understand each point especially for those participating in this year's hajj. Offcourse this is only summary for those who are participating and those who are not to also know and appreciate the hardwork of the hujjaaj. Those who are doing Ifraad or Qiraan type of pilgrimage should not shave their heads or cut their hair, or exit ihraam, rather they should remain in ihraam until they exit ihraam on the day of Eid, after stoning Jamarat al-‘Aqabah and shaving their heads or cutting their hair.  Then when the day of al-Tarwiyah comes, which is the 8thday of Dhu’l-Hijjah, the one who is doing Tamattu’ should enter ihraam for Hajj in the morning from the place where he is in Makkah. It is mustahabb or recommended fo...
THIRD REMINDER. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 17th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Monday, 30th July). HOW TO PERFORM HAJJ (PILGRIMAGE TO MACCA) CONTINUES. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from our topic since yesterday; All pilgrims must perform ghusul before leaving to enter Macca, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did ghusl before entering Makkah even from Madinah. Narrated by Muslim, 1259.  Then when he enters al-Masjid al-Haraam he should do so with his right foot first, and say, “Bismillaah wa’l-salaatu wa’l-salaam ‘ala Rasool-Allaah. Allaahumma ighfir li dhunoobi waftah li abwaab rahmatika. A’oodhu Billaah il-‘Azeem wa bi wajhih il-kareem wa bi sultaanih il-‘qadeem min al-Shaytaan il-rajeem (In the name of Allaah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allaah. O Allaah, forgive me my sins and open to me the gates of Your mercy. I seek refuge with Allaah the Almighty and in His noble Countenance and His eternal power from the accursed Sata...
SECOND REMINDER. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 17th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Monday, 30th July). HOW TO PERFORM HAJJ (PILGRIMAGE TO MACCA) CONTINUES. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the morning reminder; If the person who is entering ihraam fears some obstacle that may prevent him from completing his pilgrimage (such as sickness, an enemy, being stopped from proceeding any further, etc), then he should stipulate a condition when entering ihraam by saying, “If I am prevented then my exiting ihraam is where I am prevented” – i.e., if something prevents me from completing my pilgrimage such as sickness or delay etc, then I will exit my ihraam. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) commanded Dubaa’ah bint al-Zubayr, when she wanted to enter ihraam but she was sick, to stipulate such a condition, and he said, “Your condition is valid with your Lord.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (5089) and Muslim (1207).  If he stipulates this condition and something happens to pre...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 17th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Monday, 30th July). HOW TO PERFORM HAJJ (PILGRIMAGE TO MACCA) CONTINUES. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from where we left yesterday about this topic; The pilgrim should observe the Sunnahs of ihraam, namely doing ghusl, applying perfume and praying. Then he should enter ihraam after he finishes the prayer or after boarding his means of transportation.  Then if he is doing Tamattu’, he should say, “Labbayk Allaahumma bi ‘Umrah (Here I am, O Allaah, for ‘Umrah).”  If he is doing Qiraam, he should say, “Labbayk Allaahumma bi Hijjah wa ‘Umrah (Here I am, O Allaah, for Hajj and ‘Umrah).”  If he is doing Ifraad, he should say, “Labbayk Allaahumma Hajjan (Here I am, O Allaah, for Hajj).”  Then he should say, “Allaahumma haadhihi hijjah laa riyaa’a fiha wa la sum’ah (O Allaah, this is a pilgrimage in which there is no showing off or seeking reputation).”   Then he should recite the Talbiyah as the Prophe...
THIRD REMINDER. Yaumul Ahad, 16th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Sunday, 29th July). HOW TO PERFORM HAJJ (PILGRIMAGE TO MACCA). BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the first and second Reminders; Qiraan means entering ihraam for ‘Umrah and Hajj both together. Or entering ihraam for ‘Umrah first then including Hajj in that before starting the tawaaf of Hajj. That is done by intending that his tawaaf and saa’i will be for both Hajj and ‘Umrah.   The actions done in Qiraan are the same as those done in Ifraad, except that the pilgrim doing Qiraan has to offer a hadiy (sacrifice) whereas the pilgrim doing Ifraad does not.  The best of these three types of Hajj is Tamattu’. This is what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) enjoined upon his companions and urged them to do. Even if a person enters ihraam for Qiraan or Ifraad, then it is strongly recommended for him to change his intention to ‘Umrah, then complete ‘Umrah and exit ihraam, so that he will th...
SECOND REMINDER. Yaumul Ahad, 16th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Sunday, 29th July). HOW TO PERFORM HAJJ (PILGRIMAGE TO MACCA). BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the first Reminder; There are three types of Hajj: Tamattu’, Ifraad and Qiraan.  Tamattu’ means entering ihraam for ‘Umrah only during the months of Hajj (the months of Hajj are Shawwaal, Zul-Qa'âdah and Zul-Hijjah. When the pilgrim reaches Makkah he performs tawaaf (Circumambulating the Kaaba seven consecutive times) and partaking saa’i for ‘Umrah (To walk the distance between As-Safa and Al-Marwa seven times to and from), and shaves his head or cuts his hair, and exits ihraam. Then when the day of al-Tarwiyah, which is the 8th of Dhu’l-Hijjah, comes, he enters ihraam for Hajj only, and does all the actions of Hajj. So Tamattu’ involves a complete ‘Umrah and a complete Hajj. Ifraad means entering ihraam for Hajj only. When the pilgrim reaches Makkah he performs tawaaf al-qudoom (tawaaf of arrival) and...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul Ahad, 16th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Sunday, 29th July). HOW TO PERFORM HAJJ (PILGRIMAGE TO MACCA). BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. One of the Learned Imams of IslamQA UK, wrote a long article about Hajj with little editing to my taste as follows; Hajj is one of the best acts of worship. It is one of the pillars of Islam with which ALLAAH sent Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam and without which a person’s religious commitment is incomplete.  Worship cannot bring a person closer to ALLAAH and cannot be accepted unless it meets two conditions:  1. Sincerity towards ALLAAH alone, i.e., it is done to seek the Countenance of ALLAAH and the Hereafter, and is not done to show off, to enhance one’s reputation or for worldly gain as many does nowadays unfortunately.  2. Following the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of ALLAAH be upon him) can only be achieving by knowing his Sunnah.  Hence the one who wants to worship ALLAAH by doing any act of worship such as H...
THIRD REMINDER: Yaum As-sabt, 15th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Saturday 28th July). 4 CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the first and second Reminders; Falling in category 3 should be a red warning to one's foot slipping downwards. This is the worst position for one to find themselves in because it results in grave punishments. As ALLAH says: So when they forgot that by which they had been reminded, We opened to them the doors of every [good] thing until, when they rejoiced in that which they were given, We seized them suddenly, and they were [then] in despair." Al Ana'am 44. " And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers." Az Zariyat 55. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic traps. Aameen
SECOND REMINDER: Yaum As-sabt, 15th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Saturday 28th July). 4 CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the first Reminder Falling in category 4 is serious because ALLAH says And whoever turns away from My remembrance, indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind.”(Taha 124). However falling in category 2 may be the result of either of two things: That ALLAH loves you and therefore is testing your patience to increase your rewards; this is because He says: And ALLAH will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient," Al Baqarah 155. Or that there are errors in your worship, sins that you commit unknowingly or sins that you aren't repenting from. Hence Allah is testing you to make you realize your mistake, as HE says: And ALLAH will surely let them taste the nearer punishment short o...
FIRST REMINDER: Yaum As-sabt, 18th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Saturday 28th July). 4 CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. If you look into people today, you find them in 4 categories: let's study and strive to be among those striving to be successful. 1. Those who Obedient to ALLAH and happy with their life. 2. Those who Obedient to Allah but unhappy with their life. 3. Disobedient to Allah but happy with their life. 4. Disobedient to Allah and unhappy with their life. Falling in category 1 is normal because Allah says Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer – We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do." ( Al Nahl 97). To be continued in Shaa ALLAH. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and increases us all in beneficial knowledge. Aameen.
THIRD REMINDER. Yaumul Jumuat. 14th day of Dhul Qa'âdah (Friday 27th July). TEACHINGS OF THE PROPHET AS GUIDANCE.DON'T MISS THIS PLEASE. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Mu’adh ibn Jabal may ALLAH be pleased with him to Yemen and before he left after the instructions the Prophet gave as discussed in the earlier reminders today, the Prophet in trying to enquire if Mu’adh has listened to his instructions well ask him; كَيْفَ تَقْضِي How will you judge? Mu’adh said, “I will judge according to what is in the Book of Allah.” The Prophet said: فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ What if it is not in the Book of Allah? Mu’adh said, “Then I will judge with the tradition (sunnah) of the Messenger of Allah.” The Prophet said: فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي سُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ What if it is not in the tradition of the Messenger of Allah? Mu’adh said, “Then I will strive to form an opinion (ijtihad).” The Prophet said: الْحَمْدُ...
SECOND REMINDER. Yaumul Jumuat. 14th day of Dhul Qa'âdah (Friday 27th July). THE GUIDANCE OF QUR'AN, SUNNAH AND OTHERS continues. LET'S LEARN SOME IMPORTANT LESSONS. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Abu Burda reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Mu’adh to Yemen and he said: يَسِّرَا وَلَا تُعَسِّرَا وَبَشِّرَا وَلَا تُنَفِّرَا وَتَطَاوَعَا وَلَا تَخْتَلِفَا Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi The Prophet instructed Mu’adh to cooperate with the people and not to be a dictator over them, for being too hard on them would cause division. The Quran was revealed gradually over twenty three years, so people and society should be given the duties of Islam gradually. The Prophet warned us that overburdening ourselves and others in the religion will ultimately cause us to fail. Abu Huraira re...
FIRST REMINDER. Friday. 14th day of Dhul Qa'âdah (Friday 27th July). THE GUIDANCE OF QUR'AN, SUNNAH AND OTHERS. _LET'S LEARN SOME IMPORTANT LESSONS_. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. From Saheeh Muslim and other authentic sources of hadith, we've studied how the Prophet instructed his companions to handle affairs of this blessed ummah. In one of these instructions is a very important narration which all scholars agree upon to be authentic as follows; The Prophet sent Mu’adh ibn Jabal may Allah be pleased with him to Yemen in order to call the people to Islam and teach them the practices of the religion. There are a number of lessons we can learn from the instructions the Prophet gave to him. Ibn Abbas reported: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Mu’adh to Yemen, he said to him: "Verily, you are coming to a people among the people of the Book, so call them to testify there is none worthy of worship but Allah and I am the Messenger o...
THIRD REMINDER. Yaum Al-khamis, 13th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Thursday, 26th July). WHAT IS HIDDEN UNDER THE TONGUE IS A KEY TO JANNAH AS MUSLIMS. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Our Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Much silence and a good disposition, there are no two things better than these.” [Authenticated by Imam Al-Bukhari]. Lets look at this example. Once a king purchased two slaves one of whom was very handsome while the other was very ugly. Wanting to test their characters the king asked the handsome slave to go and take a bath. While he was away the king turned to the ugly slave and said, “Your companion has given a very bad account of you. He said that you are a thief and of bad character. Is this true?” The slave replied that his companion was a handsome person, and his exterior beauty must be reflected by inward beauty as well. He could not believe that such a beautiful man could tell a lie. “Therefore,” he said, “If my companion has a bad opinio...
SECOND REMINDER: Yaum Al-khamis, 13th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Thursday, 26th July). SAY ALHAMDULILLAH FOR BEEN BLESSED AS A MUSLIM. Share to others please. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. The Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The people of Jahannum will remain there, never dying and never living. But there are people who will enter Jahannum because of their sins, and will be punished therein they turn like coals. Permission will be granted for intercession to be made, and they will be brought out of it in groups and spread over by the side of the rivers of Jannah, and it will be said: ‘O people of Jannah, pour water on them. Then they will grow like seeds in the silt left by a flood.’” [Authenricated by Imam Muslim: Kitaab al-Eemaan]. The value of Tawheed is that it will enable a person to escape from Jahannum (hellfire). A Muslim may be punished because of their sins but no matter how severe the punishment, at last they will be brought out. They will have burn...
FIRST REMINDER: Yaum Al-khamis, 13th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Thursday, 26th July). YOU THINK YOUR PROBLEMS ARE MUCH? RETHINK AND TRUST ALLAH BY JUST OBEYING HIM. Share to others please. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Our beloved Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Surely I know an Aayat which, if people would have followed it, would have sufficed for them concerning everything (in life), The verse is '‘For those who fear Allah, He provides a way out for them, (and) He also provides them provisions from (sources) that they could never have imagined (Surah at-Talaq, Ayat 2-3).’” [Ibn Majah]. Let's check example how Allah help us through difficulties. "The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly to Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually built a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the...
THIRD REMINDER. Yaum Ar-Raaba'a 12th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Wednesday, 25th July). SOME BASIC ADVICE FOR THOSE GOING FOR HAJJ In shaa Allaah. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the first and second Reminders; Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy on him) also advised that; The pilgrim must, by performing Hajj and ‘umrah, seek the pleasure of Allah and the hereafter, and seek to draw close to Allah by means of that which pleases Him of words and deeds in those holy places, and he must be careful lest his intention in going for Hajj be worldly gain or showing off or boasting about it, for these are among the most reprehensible of aims and are the cause of good deeds being rejected and not accepted, as Allah, may He be exalted, says to the nearest meaning: “Whosoever desires the life of the world and its glitter; to them Allah shall pay in full (the wages of) their deeds therein, and they will have no diminution therein. They are those for who...
SECOND REMINDER. Yaum Ar-Raaba'a 12th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Wednesday, 25th July). SOME BASIC ADVICE FOR THOSE GOING FOR HAJJ In shaa Allaah. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the first reminder; Whoever is performing hajj should use for his Hajj or ‘umrah pure wealth (i.e., that which is halaal and earned from halaal sources), because it is narrated in a sound report from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he said: “Verily Allah, may He be exalted, is good and does not accept anything but that which is good (i.e., halaal).” At-Tabaraani narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “If a man sets out as a pilgrim with halaal and pure provision, and puts his foot in the stirrup and calls out ‘Labbayk Allahumma labbayk,’ a caller calls out to him from heaven: ‘May you prosper; your provision is halaal, your mount is halaal, your Hajj will be ...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaum Ar-Raaba'a 12th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Wednesday, 25th July). SOME BASIC ADVICE FOR THOSE GOING FOR HAJJ In shaa Allaah. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy on him) advised in one of his numerous fatwas that; If a Muslim decide to travel for Hajj or ‘umrah, it is mustahabb (recommended) for him to advise his family and friends to fear Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, which means fulfilling His commands and heeding His prohibitions. Hajj is an act of purifying ourselves and seeking to be complete born again bcs accepted hajj means all sins forgiven in shaa Allaah. He should write down what he is owed and what he owes of debts, and he should have that witnessed like a "will" in case he doesn't return alive. He must hasten to repent sincerely from all sins, because Allah, may He be exalted, says to the nearest meaning: “And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you mi...
THIRD REMINDER: Yaum Al-thalaatha 11th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (24th July). ACTS OF WORSHIP IN DIFFERENT KINDS. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. It is necessary to divide acts of worship into parts. FARD: Everything that ALLAH definitely wants us to do or to avoid. It is our Prophet who carries out the commands and prohibitions of ALLAH in the best way and who serves as an example. We should follow him in order to carry out the commands and prohibitions of ALLAH. Such as performing prayers, fasting, avoiding fornication and not eating anything haram (forbidden). WAAJIB (Stressed Sunnah): The waajibs of our religions are commands of our beloved Messenger of ALLAH which is not found directly in Qur'an but was commanded by the Prophet: for instance, it is wajib to perform the prayer of witr, grow our beared etc. NAAFILAH (Non Stressed Sunnah): The things other than fard and wajib that we carry out while performing prayers. For instance, to offer two rakaats Salaat anytime we perform...
SECOND REMINDER. Yaum Al-thalaatha 11th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (24th July). WHAT ARE THE REASONS BEHIND LEGISLATED ORDERS AND PROHIBITIONS FROM ALLAH? BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Shaikh Uthaimeen, may Allaah have mercy on him, said, “All legislated orders and prohibitions are [in and of themselves regarded as] wisdom, and there is no need for us to know the reason [for a particular one], because we know that ALLAAH is WISE and that HE did not legislate anything except based upon wisdom. Our stance towards [such] orders and prohibitions is but to say, ‘We hear and we obey.’ If we are able to find out what the wisdom [behind a particular command] is then that is a favour from ALLAAH, the Mighty and Majestic.” AlhamdulilLah. رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ Rabbaa Afriq àlainaa "swabran" Wa thabbit aqdaamanaa wanśurnaa àlal qaumil kaafireen. Oh Our Lord! Bestow on us endurance and make our foothold sure...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaum Al-thalaatha 11th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (24th July). PROHIBITION OF OPPRESSION TO OURSELVES AND TO OTHERS. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's remind ourselves with this hadith and strive to apply it's teachings. Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, relates from his Lord that ALLAH said: O my servants, I have forbidden oppression for myself and have made it forbidden among you, so do not oppress one another. O my servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance from ME and I will guide you. O my servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food from ME and I will feed you. O my servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing from ME and I will clothe you. O my servants, you sin by night and day and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness from ME and I will forgive you. O my servants, you will not be able to cause harm to M...
THIRD REMINDER: . Yaum Ithnayn, 10th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Monday 23rd July). HOW CAN WE FIND PEACE IN OUR HEARTS AND BE SATISFIED IN LIFE?. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's conclude on our topic today. If you couldn't receive any of the Reminders please request for a copy; The Qur’an’s prescription relieves us from meaningless worries and gives us a simple formula to true happiness and peace. As long as we live within the limits prescribed to us by our Lord, nothing disturbs our peace. With this solution in mind, we are no longer confused wanderers that stumble along their paths. We have chosen to trust our Creator, who is our everlasting source of peace. The Qur’an promises the believers: “HE it is Who sent down tranquility into the hearts of the believers that they might have more of faith added to their faith – and Allah’s are the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and ALLAH is Knowing, Wise.” (Quran 48:4). With this I hope we will make it a point to study the ...
SECOND REMINDER: . Yaum Ithnayn, 10th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Monday 23rd July). HOW CAN WE FIND PEACE IN OUR HEARTS AND BE SATISFIED IN LIFE?. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the first reminder. Request for the first reminder if you couldn't receive it please. The Quran gives us a formula to live a happy and peaceful life: ALLAH says to the nearest meaning; “Surely in Allah’s remembrance do the hearts find peace.” (Quran 13:28). How simple is this formula for peace! Remembrance of ALLAH works like a key to several locks, because with true remembrance of ALLAH, several different things happen at the same time. First of all, we stay away from all other artificial sources of happiness, also known as sinful behavior. Secondly, we allow ourselves to enter into a state of Tawakkul, a positive reassurance that whatever happens to us is always for our own benefit, whether it is spiritual or material. Henceforth, worldly and material troubles cannot rob us of o...
FIRST REMINDER: . Yaum Ithnayn, 10th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Monday 23rd July). HOW CAN WE FIND PEACE IN OUR HEARTS AND BE SATISFIED IN LIFE?. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. As Muslims ALLAH has blessed us with so many ways to succeed in life and gain Jannat by HIS RAHMAH. Some of the means are: Increase dhikr (Remembrance of Allah) as Allah says; "who have believed and whose heart have Rest in the remembrance of Allah. Verily in the remembrance of Allah, do hearts find rest." (Qur'an 13:28). That's by studying the Quran, applying in our way of life and praise Allah more through His beautiful attributes. Increase in sunnah Salaat after perfection of fard Salaat. As Allah says; "O you who believe, seek help with steadfastness and prayer. Surely Allah is with those who are steadfast." (Qur'an 2:153). Asking forgiveness. Allah says; "And I have said: seek forgiveness from your Lord. Lo He was ever forgiving." (Qur'an 71:100) In additio...
THIRD REMINDER. Yaumul Ahad, 9th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Sunday, 22nd July). HOW DO WE MUSLIMS VIEW DEATH CONTINUES. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's conclude from the first and second Reminders. The Day of Resurrection will be the Day when ALLAH’s attributes of Justice and Mercy will be in full manifestation. ALLAH will shower His mercy on those who suffered for HIS sake in the worldly life, believing that an eternal bliss was awaiting them. But those who abused the bounties of ALLAH, caring nothing for the life to come, will be in the most miserable state. Drawing a comparison between them, the Quran says: Then is he whom WE have promised a good promise which he will meet [i.e. obtain] like he for whom WE provided enjoyment of worldly life [but] then he is, on the Day of Resurrection, among those presented [for punishment in Hell]? (Quran, 28:61). The Quran also states that this worldly life is a preparation for the eternal life after death. But those who deny it become...
SECOND REMINDER. Yaumul Ahad, 9th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Sunday, 22nd July). HOW DO WE MUSLIMS VIEW DEATH CONTINUES. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the first reminder; Surely ALLAH will raise all the dead. But HE has His own plan of things. A day will come when the whole universe will be destroyed and then the dead will be resurrected to stand before the CREATOR, ALLAH. That day will be the beginning of a life that will never end, and on that day every person will be rewarded by ALLAH according to his or her good or evil deeds. The explanation that the Quran gives about the necessity of life after death is what the moral consciousness of man demands. Actually, if there is no life after death, the very belief in ALLAH becomes meaningless or even if one believes in ALLAH, it would be unjust and indifferent ALLAH, having once created man and now not being concerned with his fate. Surely, ALLAH is just. ALLAH will punish the tyrants, whose crimes are beyond cou...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul Ahad, 9th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Sunday, 22nd July). HOW DO WE MUSLIMS VIEW DEATH? Today is Sunday so let's use our free time to read through and let's avoid complaints of the length as it takes under 3 minutes to read and benefit greatly at your own free time. I use hours to prepare most of these reminders so to complain for just using few minutes to read is not fair isn't it?😊. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. We Muslims believe that the present life is a trial in preparation for the next realm of existence. When a Muslim dies, he or she is washed and wrapped in a clean, white cloth (usually by a family member) and buried after a special prayer termed Salaatul Janaaza, preferably the same day. We Muslims consider this a final service that we can do for our relatives and an opportunity to remember that our own existence here on earth is brief or temporary. All the Prophets of ALLAH(God) called their people to worship ALLAH and to believe in li...
THIRD REMINDER. Yaum As-sabt, 8th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Saturday, 21st July). THE GREATNESS OF AAYATUL KURSY. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue on our topic today studying from this authentic narration. It was narrated that Abu Dharr (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) whilst he was in the mosque and sat down. He said, ‘O Abu Dharr, did you pray?’ I said, ‘No.’ He said, ‘ Get up and pray.’ So I got up and prayed, then I came and sat down. He said, ‘O Abu Dharr, seek refuge with Allaah from the devils of men and jinn.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah, are there devils among men?’ He said, ‘Yes.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah, what about salaah?’ He said, ‘It is the best, so let whoever wants to, do a little of it and let whoever wants to, do more of it.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah, what about fasting?’ He said, ‘It is obligatory and it is good, and the reward with Allaah is greater.’ I said, ...
SECOND REMINDER. Yaum As-sabt, 8th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Saturday, 21st July). THE GREATNESS OF AAYAATUL KURSY continues. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Narrated by Ayfa’ ibn Abdul Kila’i Ayfa’ told of a man who asked Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) which surah of the Qur’an was greatest and was told that it was “Say, He is Allah, One.” He asked which verse of the Qur’an was greatest and was told that it was the Throne Verse, “Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Eternal.” He asked Allah’s Prophet which verse he would like to bring good to him and his people and was told, “The end of Surat Al-Baqarah, for it is one of the treasures of Allah’s mercy from under His throne, which He gave to these people, and there is no good in this world and the next, which it does not include.” Al-Tirmidhi – Hadith 2169 Narrated by Abu Huraira. Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said, “If anyone recites in the morning Ha-Mim al-Mu’min to ‘to Him is the final goal, and t...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaum As-sabt, 8th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Saturday, 21st July). THE GREATNESS OF AAYATUL KURSY. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Reading the Holy Quran is a great way to overcome turmoil, anxiety and distress, and to relieve us. There is one particular Aayah that Prophet Muhammad salallahu alaihi wasallam spoke of, that is said to give its reader great benefits in this life and the afterlife and that's Aayatul Kursi (Surat Al-Baqarah 2:255), also known as the Verse of the Throne. The narrations (hadith) that speak of the virtues, and benefits, of Aayatul Kursi are numerous. Narrated Abu Huraira: Prophet Muhammad salallahu alaihi wasallam ordered me to guard the Zakat revenue of Ramadan. Then somebody came to me and started stealing of the foodstuff. I caught him and said, “I will take you to Allah’s Apostle!” Then Abu Hurairah described the whole narration and said: That person said (to me), “Please don’t take me to Allah’s Apostle and I will tell you a few word...
THIRD REMINDER. Yaumul Jumuat, 7th day of Zul-Qa'adah (20th July). Let's conclude on our summary of Suuratul Kahf. Bismillaah Knowing the Realities of Life: Allah says to the nearest meaning; "And put forward to them the example of the life of this world, it is like the water (rain) which ALLAH send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the earth mingles with it, and becomes fresh and green. But (later) it becomes dry and broken pieces, which the winds scatter. And is able to do everything. Suurat Al-Kahf, Aayah 45. Humility: He (Moses) said; "If Allah will, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in aught." Suurat Al-Kahf, Aayah 69). Sincerity: Say (O Muhammad); "I'm only a man like you. It has been inspired to me that your ilaah(God) is one ilaah(God). So whoever hopes for the meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord. (Suurat Al-Kahf, Aayah 110). May Allah save u...
SECOND REMINDER. Yaumul Jumuat, 7th day of Zul-Qa'adah (20th July). LETS CONTINUE WITH OUR SUMMARY OF SUURATUL KAHF. BismilLah So now the question is, what is the relationship of Suurat Al-Kahf to the dajjaal? From the summary we will noticed that dajjaal will put us into the trial of our Eemaan, trial of wealth, trial of knowledge and trial of authority before the day of judgement. > He will ask people to worship him instead of Allah. > He will order the sky to rain and he will tempt people with his wealth. > he will try people with knowledge due to what he reveals to people of news > he will control major parts of the earth except Macca and Madinah In shaa Allah. Good Companionship: In this Suurat, Allah advised or commanded the prophet in chapter 28 as follows; And keep yourself (O Muhammad) patiently with those who call on their Lord (i.e. Your Companions who remember their Lord with glorification, praising in prayers, etc., and other righteous deeds, etc)....
FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul Jumuat, 7th day of Zul-Qa'adah (20th July). Summary of Suurat Al-Kahf (Quran 18). I have been sharing this summary for many years now as a constant reminder, the wisdom behind reciting/studying this suurah each Friday. Lets read through and get motivated to study the suurah for our own benefit. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. This Suurat has 4 stories, 1. The People of the Cave which talk about trial of eemaan. 2. The Owner of the two gardens, which talk about trial of wealth and children. 3. Muusah (A.S) & Khidir (A.S), which is about trial of knowledge. And 4. Dhul Qarnayn, which talk about trial of authority. The first two deals with good companionship and knowing the reality of life which is calling to Allah. The 3rd and 4th point deals with humility and sincerity in remembering the hereafter. All these are the boats of success. The story of the believing young men who were living in a disbelieving country. They decided to leave their homes an...
THIRD REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis 6th day if Zul-Qa'âdah (19th July). EARNING A LIVING, THE HALAAL WAY. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the second reminder. Please request for a copy if you couldn't receive it. As Muslims, we must strive to work hard seeking Allah's blessings in our income regardless of how little we earn. Earning very little is far better than earning more the haraam way. We must avoid investing our wealth into any haraam means such as buying shares with the interest base banks or companies who deals in haraam goods and services. Let's strive to invest our money the halaal way. You can find an established business who deals in halaal items so that you can agree to share the profit base on ratio of contribution. You can find brothers and sisters who has handiwork to invest and expand their business with agreement to share profits especially with fellow Muslims. There are genuine people out there who need help to expand their ...
SECOND REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis 6th day if Zul-Qa'âdah (19th July). EARNING A LIVING, THE HALAAL WAY. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. My beloved Fellow Muslims, let's be mindful of ALLAAH, The ALMIGHTY and adhere firmly to HIS commands. I want to remind myself and all of you of the fact that our halaal sustenance is a guaranteed fact from ALLAH if we choose to accept it or reject it. We can reject the offers from ALLAH if we choose to go for the haraam means of sustenance from sheitan through haraam forms of jobs. Always remember that, ALLAH offers Halaal income to benefit us here and the hereafter but Satan also offers through haraam means towards stress and miserable end. Make a wise choice please. Also, we should know that ALLAAH The Almighty created man to work and earn a living with hard striving, look forward to earning halaal money. However, this matter was governed by having a sublime aim, great determination, and achieving objectives only the halaal way. All of su...

THIRD REMINDER. Yaum Ar-Raaba'a 5th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Wednesday 18th July). SEEKING ANY FORM OF HELP FROM FORTUNE TELLERS/ SOOTHSAYERS ETC IS FORBIDDEN. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the first and second Reminders. The punishment in the Hadeeth mentioned in the second reminder is simply for approaching and asking the astrologist, even if one is in doubt about the truth of his statements. When one is in doubt about the truth or falsehood of astrological information, this entails that he is in doubt about whether or not others know the unseen and the future besides ALLAH. This is a form of Shirk, because Allah has clearly stated (what means): "And with HIM [i.e., Allah] are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except HIM." [Quran 6:59] As well as (what means): "Say (O Muhammad): 'None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except ALLAH…'" [Quran: 27:65]. Going to these fortune tellers and pastors etc indirectly mean...
SECOND REMINDER. Yaum Ar-Raaba'a 5th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Wednesday 18th July). SEEKING ANY FORM OF HELP FROM FORTUNE TELLERS/ SOOTHSAYERS ETC IS FORBIDDEN. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the first reminder; Practitioners of occult arts, who claim to reveal the unseen and predict the future, can be divided into two main categories: 1.  Those who have no real knowledge or secrets but depend on telling their customers about general incidences which happen to most people. They often go through a series of meaningless rituals, and then make calculated general guesses. Some of their guesses, due to their generality, may come true. Most people tend to remember the few predictions that come true and quickly forget the many which do not. This tendency is a result of the fact that after some time, all the predictions tend to become half-forgotten thoughts in the subconscious until something happens to trigger their recall. For example, it has become common pra...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaum Ar-Raaba'a 5th day of Shawwaal (Wednesday 18th July). SEEKING ANY FORM OF HELP FROM FORTUNE TELLERS/ SOOTHSAYERS ETC IS FORBIDDEN. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Unfortunately or due to lack of Islamic knowledge, you see or hear lots of Muslims consulting fortune tellers or so called MAALAMS for spiritual help. Some even consult them to find out if a brother or sister he or she intends marrying is a compatible match for marriage AstaghfirulLah. There are among mankind people who claim knowledge of the unseen and the future. They are known by various names, among which are: fortune-tellers, soothsayers, foreseers, augurs, magicians, prognosticators, oracles, astrologers, palmists, etc. Fortune-tellers use various methods and mediums from which they claim to extract their information, among which are: reading tea-leaves, drawing lines, writing numbers, palm-reading, casting horoscopes, crystal ball gazing, rattling bones, throwing sticks, etc. These are all ...
THIRD REMINDER. Yaum Al-thalaatha, 4th day of Zul-Qa'adah (Tuesday, 17th July). LET'S CONTINUE FROM OUR AFTERNOON REMINDER ON ENVY. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem The fact is that envy is dangerous for our deen because with envy, you hated ALLAH'S blessings that HE divided among HIS servants, and you hated HIS justice that HE established in HIS world for a wisdom, so you contested that and objected it, and this is against the true oneness and belief. In addition to that, you would have shared with satan and the rest of the non-believers with their love for the crises to fall upon the believers and for the blessings to go away from them. These are evils in the heart that eat up the good deeds and erase them like the night erase the day. And the fact that envy is dangerous upon your worldly life is that because you suffer from your envy in this life and you are tortured by it, and you will always be in sorrows every time you see the blessing of ALLAH (The most Great) on the...
SECOND REMINDER. Yaum Al-thalaatha, 4th day of Zul-Qa'adah (Tuesday, 17th July). ENVY IS A SATANIC TOOL. LET'S STAY AWAY FROM IT. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem ALLAH told us in the Qur'an about the first son of Aadam who killed his brother because of envy, and it was the first blood letting crime on the face of the earth. He envied his brother because ALLAH accepted his brother's sacrifice but did not accept it from him. ALLAH says in surat Al-Maaedah, (Verse 27, 28 & 30), what can be translated as, "Oh Muhammad (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam), recite to them the story of the two sons of Aadam in truth; when each offered a sacrifice (to Allah), it was accepted from the one but not from the other. The latter said to the former: "I will surely kill you." The former said: "Verily, ALLAH accepts only from those who are the pious. If you do stretch your hand against me to kill me, I shall never stretch my hand against you to kill you, for I fear ALLA...
FIRST REMINDER: Yaum Al-thalaatha, 4th day of Zul-Qa'adah (Tuesday, 17th July). IS IT TRUE THAT ALLAH DETERMINES THE FATE OF A PERSON WHEN HE IS STILL IN THE WOMB? HOW ABOUT PEOPLE WHO DISOBEY ALLAH? IS IT HIS INTENTION FOR THEM TO BE DISOBEDIENT? Lets share to others please. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. As we are all well aware, we are accountable to Allah for what we do in this life. He rewards us in accordance with our deeds. Hence, our deeds are chosen by us, since we have been given such a free choice. If we were denied such a choice and if our actions were determined for us by ALLAH, then it would not fit with ALLAH'S justice that we should be accountable for them. There is some confusion in people's minds about this question. This confusion is compounded by a wrong understanding of some Hadiths like the following one: "The creation of each one of you is gathered together in his mother's belly for forty days in the form of a seed, then he is a clot of ...
