THIRD REMINDER. Yaum Al-khamis, 13th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Thursday, 26th July). WHAT IS HIDDEN UNDER THE TONGUE IS A KEY TO JANNAH AS MUSLIMS. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Our Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Much silence and a good disposition, there are no two things better than these.” [Authenticated by Imam Al-Bukhari]. Lets look at this example. Once a king purchased two slaves one of whom was very handsome while the other was very ugly. Wanting to test their characters the king asked the handsome slave to go and take a bath. While he was away the king turned to the ugly slave and said, “Your companion has given a very bad account of you. He said that you are a thief and of bad character. Is this true?” The slave replied that his companion was a handsome person, and his exterior beauty must be reflected by inward beauty as well. He could not believe that such a beautiful man could tell a lie. “Therefore,” he said, “If my companion has a bad opinion of me, there must certainly be something wrong with me. I am afraid he must be correct.” The king observed that beauty was only an ALLAH given gift, and it did not follow that a person who had a handsome face had a pure heart as well. The king was greatly impressed with the character and intelligence of the ugly slave. In the meantime, the handsome slave had returned from his bath. The king now sent the ugly slave to take a bath and in his absence told the handsome slave that his fellow slave had given a bad account of him. On hearing this, the slave burst into invectives against his companion and said that he was a rascal and liar. The king thus concluded that the slave with a beautiful face had no inner worth while the slave with an ugly face had much inner worth. Beauty is only skin deep.  “Every man/woman is hidden under his/her own tongue.” The tongue reveals inner beauty as well as inner vileness. Therefore, the safety of a man/woman lies in holding his tongue. Do not judge or marry through the beauty of the face but investigate his or her character especially his or her obedience to ALLAH not the beauty and the wealth. May ALLAH protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...

ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
