SECOND REMINDER. Yaumul Jumuat. 14th day of Dhul Qa'âdah (Friday 27th July). THE GUIDANCE OF QUR'AN, SUNNAH AND OTHERS continues. LET'S LEARN SOME IMPORTANT LESSONS. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Abu Burda reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Mu’adh to Yemen and he said: يَسِّرَا وَلَا تُعَسِّرَا وَبَشِّرَا وَلَا تُنَفِّرَا وَتَطَاوَعَا وَلَا تَخْتَلِفَا Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi The Prophet instructed Mu’adh to cooperate with the people and not to be a dictator over them, for being too hard on them would cause division. The Quran was revealed gradually over twenty three years, so people and society should be given the duties of Islam gradually. The Prophet warned us that overburdening ourselves and others in the religion will ultimately cause us to fail. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: إِنَّ الدِّينَ يُسْرٌ وَلَنْ يُشَادَّ الدِّينَ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا غَلَبَهُ فَسَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالْغَدْوَةِ وَالرَّوْحَةِ وَشَيْءٍ مِنْ الدُّلْجَةِ Verily, the religion is ease, and no one burdens himself in religion except that it overcomes him. So be moderate, seek closeness to ALLAH, give glad tidings, and gain strength for worship in the morning and the night. Sahih Bukhari 39. The Prophet warned Mu’adh not to wrong or oppress anyone, even if they are not Muslims, because ALLAH always responds to the supplication of the oppressed. Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: اتَّقُوا دَعْوَةَ الْمَظْلُومِ وَإِنْ كَانَ كَافِرًا فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ دُونَهَا حِجَابٌ Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, even if he is an unbeliever, for there is no screen between it and ALLAH. Musnad Ahmad 12140. The Prophet warned Mu’adh not to use his position of authority to live extravagantly, but rather he should practice temperance (zuhd), spending his wealth in charity and renouncing the vanities of worldly life. Mu’adh ibn Jabal reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent me to Yemen and he said: إِيَّاكَ وَالتَّنَعُّمَ فَإِنَّ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ لَيْسُوا بِالْمُتَنَعِّمِينَ Beware of luxury. Verily, the servants of Allah do not live luxuriously. Musnad Ahmad 21600. The Prophet gave Mu’adh instructions for properly applying Islamic guidance and principles if nothing explicit can be found in the Quran and Sunnah. From this lessons, we've studied the teachings of the Prophet to his companions which we term as his Sunnah which he left us along with the Quran and scholarly decisions if an issue is not explicit in the Quran and Sunnah. These are the sources of guidance the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam left behind. He also instructed his companions to handle his family well and take good care of his family in other gatherings which some ignorance says he left us with Quran and his family. When he was alive, was he teaching about the deen matters or his family matters? Common sense dictates that when anyone is dying, he informs people around him to take care of his family. But for 23yrs he was teaching them how to become good muslims and thats his sunnah to follow and learn from. Don't miss the evening reminder on this issue in shaa Allah. May Allah increases us in beneficial knowledge. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
