Unfortunately or due to lack of Islamic knowledge, you see or hear lots of Muslims consulting fortune tellers or so called MAALAMS for spiritual help. Some even consult them to find out if a brother or sister he or she intends marrying is a compatible match for marriage AstaghfirulLah. There are among mankind people who claim knowledge of the unseen and the future. They are known by various names, among which are: fortune-tellers, soothsayers, foreseers, augurs, magicians, prognosticators, oracles, astrologers, palmists, etc. Fortune-tellers use various methods and mediums from which they claim to extract their information, among which are: reading tea-leaves, drawing lines, writing numbers, palm-reading, casting horoscopes, crystal ball gazing, rattling bones, throwing sticks, etc. These are all agents of Satan who uses evil jinns to deviate believers from ALLAH especially so called miracle pastors of today who uses evil spirits to deceive their followers. Practitioners of occult arts, who claim to reveal the unseen and predict the future, can be divided into two main categories: Don't miss the second reminder so that we can lean together the evil plot of these people. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
