FIRST REMINDER. Yaum Ar-Raaba'a 12th day of Zul-Qa'âdah (Wednesday, 25th July). SOME BASIC ADVICE FOR THOSE GOING FOR HAJJ In shaa Allaah. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy on him) advised in one of his numerous fatwas that; If a Muslim decide to travel for Hajj or ‘umrah, it is mustahabb (recommended) for him to advise his family and friends to fear Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, which means fulfilling His commands and heeding His prohibitions. Hajj is an act of purifying ourselves and seeking to be complete born again bcs accepted hajj means all sins forgiven in shaa Allaah. He should write down what he is owed and what he owes of debts, and he should have that witnessed like a "will" in case he doesn't return alive. He must hasten to repent sincerely from all sins, because Allah, may He be exalted, says to the nearest meaning: “And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed” [an-Noor 24:31]. True repentance means giving up sin, regretting what one has done in the past, and resolving not to go back to it. If he has wronged people physically or financially, or has said something to impugn their honour, he must right that wrong or ask them to forgive him for it before travelling, because it is soundly narrated from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he said: “Whoever has wronged his brother with regard to his wealth or honour, let him ask him for forgiveness today, before there will be no dinar or dirham, and if he has any righteous deeds to his credit, they will be taken from him commensurately with the wrong that he did, and if he does not have any good deeds to his credit, some of his companion’s bad deeds will be taken and added to his burden. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless.   THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 29th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 10th February 2024). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊.
