THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 19th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Wednesday, 31st January 2024). ATTRIBUTES OF BENEFICIAL KNOWLEDGE. BismilLah.  Everything has its indications and signs. Indications that knowledge is beneficial are that it leads to fine character, good manners, and praiseworthy attributes. In this regard it was said: "He whose knowledge doesn’t cause him to weep, can be justifiably considered not to have been granted beneficial knowledge, since ALLAH described the people of knowledge saying: Verily! Those who were given knowledge before it, when it is recited to them, fall down on their faces in humble prostration. And they say: "Glory be to our Lord! Truly, the promise of our Lord must be fulfilled." And they fall down on their faces weeping, and it adds to their humility.'"Al-Quran (17):107-109.  Knowledge carries its possessor towards humility, prostration, crying, calling oneself to account, and truthfulness with ALLAH. Indeed, cryin...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm al-ithnayn. 17th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Monday, 29th January 2024). HOW TO DO BUSINESS, THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD sallallahu alaihi wasallam recommendations continues. BismilLah.  It was narrated that Qays ibn Abu Gharazah (may ALLAH be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) used to say: “O merchants, selling involves idle talk and oaths, so mix it with Sadaqah (charity).” (Narrated by At-Tirmidhi, 1208; Abu Dawood, 3326; An-Nasa’i, 3797; Ibn Majah, 2145; classed as authentic by Al-Albani in Sahih Abu Dawood). This clearly means giving sadaqah can cause lots of blessings to the business and remove the sins of the idle talk within business transactions.  The Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) used to enjoin people to be tolerant and easy-going in buying and selling .  It was narrated from Jabir ibn ‘Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and pe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Ahad. 16th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Sunday, 28th January 2024). HOW TO DO BUSINESS, THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD sallallahu alaihi wasallam recommendations continues. BismilLah.  The Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) used to enjoin traders to be righteous and honest and to give charity.  It was narrated that Hakim ibn Hizam (may ALLAH be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of ALLAH (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) said: “The two parties to a transaction have the option (of cancelling it) until they part. If they are honest and disclose any defects, their transaction will be blessed, but if they lie and conceal defects, the blessing of their transaction will be erased.” (Narrated by Al-Bukhari, 1973 and Muslim, 1532)  The Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) saw the people engaging in trade. He said:  “O merchants!” and they responded to the Messenger of ALLAH (blessings and peace of Allah be up...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 15th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 27th January 2024). HOW TO DO BUSINESS, THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD sallallahu alaihi wasallam recommendation. BismilLah.  If you are a Muslim and a business type person,  its important to study how our beloved Messenger of ALLAH did or run business so that you can emulate hos examples and whoever strive to emulate the examples and recommendations of the Prophet in any ways of life has taken a path of blessings from ALLAH because of your intentions to emulate the Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam.  In shaa ALLAH, in the next few days, we shall explore the teachings of the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) with regard to doing business, buying, and selling The Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) worked in business before his mission began, with his paternal uncle Abu Talib, and he also worked for Khadijah (may ALLAH be pleased with her), and he travell...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Jumuat. 14th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Friday, 26th January 2024). JUMUAT KHUTBAH. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah, for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) was asked: “Who are the best type of people?” He (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) replied: “A person who is truthful in his speech and Makhmoom in his heart.” the companions asked: “We know what is truthful speech, but what is a Makhmoom heart?” He (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) responded: “It is a pure pious heart that does not have envy, evil or spite.” [Ibn Maajah] Now, let's consider this short story to understand our reminder on this blessed morning: A teacher once told each child in her troublesome class to bring a plastic bag and some potatoes. Each child should put in their bag as many potatoes as the number of people they hated. Some brought two potatoes in a bag, some three and some up to five. The teacher t...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 13th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Thursday, 25th January 2024). BETRAYAL IS HARAAM IN ISLAM, AVOID IT. BismilLah.  One of our soul's defects that brutally affects our ties with our Creator, ALLAH, as well as our relationships with others, is betrayal. Betraying is an unfaithful act characterized by deliberate but hidden deceiving, lying, and scheming. Because of the intentional secretive planning that is involved in betrayal, its victims are always taken by surprise. The most harmful consequence of betraying is the sudden and abrupt destruction of the bond of trust, loyalty, and confidence that exists in different kinds of social relations. This results in a deep sense of disappointment and serious damage to the integrity of such relationships. ALLAH says in Quran 8:27 to the nearest meaning, "O you who believe, do not betray ALLAH and the Messenger, and do not betray those who trust you, now that you know. Students of the Quran know that...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 12th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Wednesday, 24th January 2024). SEEKING GUIDANCE FROM ALLAH REGULARLY. BismilLahir.  ALLAH subhaanahu wa ta`aalaa (exalted is HE) has given HIMSELF Names and attributes (siffat) so that we can know HIM through HIS attributes. What is most amazing and beautiful about ALLAH’s Names is that through them, you can see how your Creator recognizes the needs of HIS creation. We all need sustenance; and HE is ar-Razzaaq, The Provider. We all need love; and HE is al-Waduud, The Most Loving. We all need protection; and ALLAH is al-Hafidh, The Guardian. What we need the most is the very thing of which ALLAH (swt) has an unlimited supply. And so sometimes we are put through things to know ALLAH (swt). Sometimes, it is to open our eyes to our own flaws so that we can change. But whatever it is, if we realise that the answer to any problem is through HIM, and that HE suffices all our needs, then our relief is already at han...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 11th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Tuesday, 23rd January 2024). WHO CREATED THE UNIVERSE AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE. Bismillah. Allah asks mankind in the Qur'an: "Were the creation created out of nothing? Or were they themselves the creators? Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they are sure of nothing! (Qur'an 52:35-36).  Allahu Akbar.  Most deny or ignore the existence of The Creator because they can not see HIM.  However, there are many things which we do not see, yet we believe in their existence example air, soul etc. The basic fact is that the eyes the Creator gave us on earth are not capable of seeing HIM. He will recreate the eyes capable of seeing when we obey HIM and enter HIS eternal garden, Paradise. Can you look at the sun in its quarter brightness, not even half? No way, so how do you expect to see the Creator of the sun? Let us imagine ourselves standing in a laboratory stocked with beakers and tes...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Ahad. 9th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Sunday, 21st January 2024). FAMILY PLANNING IN ISLAM CONTINUES. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our topic on family planning. Some points to note on issue of family planning in Islam.   According to sharia research; It is not allowed to enact a general law that limits the freedom of spouses in having children. It is forbidden to "permanently" end a man's or a woman's ability to produce children, such as by having a hysterectomy or vasectomy, as long as that is not called for by circumstances of necessity according to its Islamic framework. It is permissible to control the timing of births with the intent of distancing the occurrences of pregnancy or to delay it for a specific amount of time, if there is some Shariah need for that in the opinion of the spouses, based on mutual consultation and agreement between them. However, this is conditioned by that not leading to any harm, by it being done by...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 8th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 20th January 2024). FAMILY PLANNING IN ISLAM. BismilLah.  The institution of marriage and the want to have children was the custom of the best of creation, the PROPHETS and MESSENGERS chosen by ALLAH. ALLAH says about them "And indeed I sent messengers before you and made for them wives and offspring" (al-Raad 38). The best example for the believers is the example of the PROPHET MUHAMMAD sallallahu alaihi wasallam, who married and had children. These Prophets and Messengers are the people whom Muslims should look to emulate. ALLAH says "They are those whom ALLAH has guided. So follow their guidance" (al-Anaam 90).  Islam has forbidden celibacy (state of not being married), monasticism (life of monks & nuns) and castration (removal of the male glands) for such purposes. The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam made this clear when he told those companions who were considering acetic for...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YawmulJumuat. 7th day of Rajab, 1445AH (FRIDAY, 19th January 2024). FRIDAY SERMON (KHUTBAH). BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah, for granting this blessed day of the week. Please note and be rest assured that nothing can happen to us without the permission of ALLAH. Whatever happens to us in life may either be a trial from ALLAH or punishment to forgive our sins as a preparation to grant us paradise. That's part of the justice of ALLAH.  Also, note that our enemies can laugh at us when we face any trials in our life but thats actually also good for us as their laughing increases our rewards from their good deeds. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam went through such mockery from the kuffar but lets hear what ALLAH says about that below;  ALLAH says in Qur'an 9:50 to the Prophet and all believing followers and emphasizes the enmity that the hypocrites have for the Prophet  ALLAH tells;  إِن تُصِبْكَ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُوْه...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 6th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Thursday, 18th January 2024). WHAT IS THE WISDOM BEHIND TAWAAF (circumambulating) THE KAABA? BismilLaah. As Muslims, we don't do anything as we wish. We follow the commands of ALLAH (As-Sabur, The Patient), the Creator, HIS Messenger, or consensus of scholars based on Qur'an and Sunnah. Even how to sleep, drink, eat, talk, walk, etc, must be in accordance with Sunnah. Similarly, Circumambulating the Kaaba is part of the command of ALLAH (Al-‘Afuww, The Pardoner, The Effacer of Sins) through HIS Messenger and it represents the idea of oneness. The meaning regarding the social life is not to leave unity and to try to maintain this unity regardless of our status, colour, nationality, etc. The Prophet did it, and we must do it because  we know the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam did nothing other than what ALLAH, The CREATOR  commanded him to do    ALLAH Almighty states the following in the Q...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 5th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Wednesday, 17th January 2024). BECOME THE HAPPIEST MUSLIM ESPECIALLY TO OUR SISTERS continues. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah, yesterday we reminded each other on some basic things we can do as Muslims to keep ourselves happy towards obedience to ALLAH. Today we will focus on things we should be avoiding if we want to be happy in life.  No to wasting time in trivial pursuits and love of revenge and futile arguments. No to giving priority to money and accumulation of wealth over one's health, happiness, sleep, and peace of mind. No to seeking out other people's faults and backbitting about them, whilst forgetting one's own faults. No to indulging in physical pleasure and giving in to every whim and desire. No to wasting time with shallow people and spending hours in idle pursuits. No to neglecting physical hygiene and cleanliness in the house, and being disorganized at home. No to haraam drinks, cigarettes e...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 4th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Tuesday, 16th January 2024). BECOME THE HAPPIEST MUSLIM ESPECIALLY TO OUR SISTERS. BismilLah.  My humble advise and words of inspiration and encouragement today 4th day of Rajab is to every Muslim men especially Muslim woman who is content with ALLAAH as her Lord, Islam as her religion and Muhammad (Blessings and Peace be upon him) as her Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam. To every girl who follows the path of truth, who carried the message of sincerity. To every Muslim teacher who strives by means of her words to convey knowledge and values and has purified her soul. To every mother who brings her children up to fear ALLAAH and to follow the Sunnah, and makes virtue dear to them. To every woman who is burdened with worried and sadness. Rejoice and receive the glad tidings of a way-out at hand, the care of ALLAAH, a great reward, and the expiation of sins. Yes, to your beautiful smile that sends a m...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm al-ithnayn. 3rd day of Rajab, 1445AH (Monday, 15th January 2024). CHARMS, TALISMANS, and AMULETS in ISLAM. BismilLah.  The issue of wearing amulets and good luck charms is important to understand for a Muslim to implement the teachings of monotheism (tawheed) in his or her daily life. Many cultures have practices in which they wear accessories or seek blessings from objects, believing that these objects can ward off evil. Such practices contradict the correct understanding of the attributes of ALLAH, as only ALLAH has the absolute power to bring benefit and protect from harm. ALLAH says: قُل لَّا أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ Say: I have no power at all for myself to harm or benefit except as ALLAH wills. Surat Yunus 10:49. And ALLAH says again: وَلَا تَدْعُ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكَ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَ ۖ فَإِن فَعَلْتَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذًا مِّنَ الظَّالِمِينَ Do not invoke besides ALLAH that which neither ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YawmulAhad. 2nd day of Rajab, 1445AH (Sunday, 14th January 2024). DO YOU WISH TO ENTER PARADISE WITHOUT ACCOUNTABILITY? THEN SUPPRESS YOUR WORLDLY HEART DESIRES. BismilLah.  All of us wish to enter Paradise easily, and we also know death has no timetable, so why are we chasing wealth on earth ignoring our duties to ALLAH?  ALLAH says in Quran 79:40-41 But as for him, who feared standing before his Lord and forbade himself from desire. meaning, he fears the standing before ALLAH, he fears ALLAH'S judgement of him, he prevents his soul from following its wprldly desires, and he compels it to obey its Master. Verily Paradise will be his abode. meaning, his final abode, his destination, and his place of return will be the spacious Paradise. ALLAHU AKBAR. Do we need any assurances other than these 2 verses?  May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and aid us in suppressing our heart desires that have no benefit to our eemaan. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 1st day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 13th January 2024). LET'S FOCUS IN ATTAINING JANNAT (PARADISE) AND STOP WORRYING ABOUT THIS LIFE DIFFICULTIES. BismilLah. The Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “If a man were to be dragged on his face from the day he was born until the day he died in order to gain the Pleasure of ALLAH - the Exalted, he would not consider this to be enough on the Day of Resurrection.” [Al-Jaami as-Sagheer min Hadeeth al-Basheer an-Nadheer by Imaam As-Suyooti]. On the Day of Judgement the life of this world will seem to have passed away in seconds while the reward for a life well used will be so phenomenal that whatever one suffered to gain the reward from ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) will seem insignificant. There was once a famous ruler called Sultan Mahmud of Ghazni and he had a devoted and wise slave called Ayaz. Sultan Mahmud loved Ayaz greatly and promoted him to the highest ranks.  One day M...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 30th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Friday, 12th January 2024). OUR SUSTENANCE IS FROM ALLAH IF INDEED WE OBEY AND FOLLOW HIS COMMANDS. BismilLah. ALLAH says in the Holy Quran 11:6; "There is no moving creature on earth, but its sustenance depends on HIM, ALLAH: HE knows the time and place of its definite abode and its temporary deposit: All is in a clear Record." ALLAHU AKBAR.  This clear Qur'anic teachings destroy the basic assumptions of the Population Control campaign. ALLAH says, "And the earth I have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. And I have provided therein means of subsistence, for you and for those for whose sustenance you are not responsible." [Qur’an 15:19-20]. ALLAHU AKBAR.  "And ALLAH has brought you out from the wombs of your mothers while you know nothing. And HE gave you hearing, sight, and hearts tha...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 29th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Thursday, 11th January 2024). Real Meaning of "Inna lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi Raaji'uun. Bismillah.  We say this statement when someone dies. Also, some of us may say this sentence when we lose something, suffer a setback or harm. But do you know what it means? Sure, everyone knows that it obviously means 'To ALLAH we belong and to HIM is our return.' But that's not what I am talking about. I mean ….do you REALLY, TRULY understand these words and their implications in a Muslim's life? It means …whatever we have is not really ours. It belongs to ALLAH. Take a look around you; everything you see, all that you have and all that there is….in you, on you, around you….belongs to ALLAH, alone. Do you get that? It is ALLAH who has given you all the property and goods you possess and that HE is the true owner of them all. So the cars that you own, the houses that you live in, and the busin...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 28th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Wednesday, 10th January 2024). Can We forge certificates for jobs and admissions in corrupt non Islamic countries. BismilLahir. According to Sharia (Quran, Sunnah and Consensus of Scholars), it's not part of the character of a true believer in ALLAH and the last day to lie or give false witness.  ALLAH Subhanah commands the believers to always speak the truth and give witnesses on the side of the truth, even if it is against one’s own self.  ALLAH Says in the Holy Quran in Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 135: “O ye who believe!  Stand out firmly for justice as witnesses to ALLAH,  even as against yourselves,  or your parents,  or your kin,  and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for ALLAH can best protect both.   Follow not the lusts (of your hearts) lest ye swerve,  and if ye distort (justice),  or decline to do justice;  verily ALLAH is well-a...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 27th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Tuesday, 9th January 2024). DON'T BLAME ANYONE FOR YOUR MISFORTUNE. BismilLah.  Islam teaches us to take responsibility for our actions and our situation without blaming others. Blaming others is so often used as an excuse to avoid necessary introspection and self-improvement. Abu Dharr may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said that ALLAH the Exalted said: يَا عِبَادِي إِنَّمَا هِيَ أَعْمَالُكُمْ أُحْصِيهَا لَكُمْ ثُمَّ أُوَفِّيكُمْ إِيَّاهَا فَمَنْ وَجَدَ خَيْرًا فَلْيَحْمَدْ اللَّهَ وَمَنْ وَجَدَ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ فَلَا يَلُومَنَّ إِلَّا نَفْسَهُ O my servants, it is only your deeds that I record for you and then recompense for you, so let him who finds good praise ALLAH and let him who finds other than that blame no one but himself. Sahih Muslim 2577. Ibn Rajab may ALLAH be pleased with him comments on this tradition, saying: وَيَكُو...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-ithnayn. 26th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Monday, 8th January 2024). MARRIAGE THROUGH PARENTS OR RELATIVES. BismilLah.  The sad reality of the weak MUSLIM society today is that most sisters want to meet their men themselves, sometimes even commit haraam activities with the intention to get to know each other before marriage AstaghfirulLah Such non Islamic means of getting married is forbidden in Islam and mostly leads to early divorces. Obedience to ALLAH and HIS Messenger must be our priority whenever we intend to do anything. Next is obedience to our parents. The best for a sister is for her parents to strive and find a good practicing Muslim brother or sister and recommend him or her to their daughter or son and the best is if your parents present such a brother or sister to you, don't just ignore but research about him or her and if you notice he or her is a good practicing muslim please accept and trust me, ALLAH will make the Mar...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YawmulAhad. 25th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Sunday, 7th January 2024). THE MERCY OF ALLAH. BismilLah.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH's Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Whoever says, 'Laa ilaaha illallahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadir,'* one hundred times, will get the same reward as given for manumitting ten slaves; and one hundred good deeds will be written in his accounts, and one hundred sins will be deducted from his accounts, and it (his saying) will be a shield for him from Satan on that day till night, and nobody will be able to do a better deed except the one who does more than he." The meaning is: None has the right to be worshipped but ALLAH (Alone) Who has no partner; to HIM belongs the kingdom (of the universe), and for HIM are all the praises, and HE has the power to do everything. [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 8/6403]. ALLAH...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 24th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Saturday, 6th January 2024). HOW TO HANDLE OBSTACLES IN LIFE. Bismillah.  If you are trying to follow ALLAH'S  guidance, but you find yourself confronted by obstacles and hardship, don’t despair. The hardship is probably a sign that you are on the right path. Consider our Prophets (may ALLAH bless them all) who faced tremendous obstacles: The Prophet Ibrahim (alayhis-salam, peace be upon him) was disowned by his family and thrown by his people into a blazing fire; ALLAH rescued him from that, and made him the father of two nations Through Ismaaael and Ishaaq may ALLAH'S blessings be upon them. ALLAH inspired the mother of the baby Musah (as) and told the mother to place her infant into a chest and send it floating down the River Nile. That must have been an enormously difficult plan to follow, but she trusted her Lord, with the result that an entire people were eventually freed from bondage. ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Jumuat. 23rd day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Friday, 5th January 2024). FRIDAY KHUTBAH (SERMON). BismilLah. Islam teaches us that ALLAH is the most forgiving,  and will go on forgiving, repeatedly as long as we seek forgiveness sincerely. Part of being human is making mistakes. Sometimes, the mistakes are made without deliberation or a bad intention, but sometimes we knowingly and deliberately sin and do wrong to others. Therefore, as human beings, we are constantly in need of forgiveness. The life of this world is full of trials and tribulations,  however ALLAH did not abandon humankind to these tests and trials. ALLAH equipped humankind with an intellect and the ability to make choices and decisions. ALLAH also gave us words of guidance.  As our CREATOR, HE is well aware of our nature and eager to guide us on the straight path that leads to eternal bliss. The Quran is ALLAH’s final revelation, and it is applicable for all of hum...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 22nd day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Thursday, 4th January 2024). SEEKING PERMISSION TO ENTER SOMEONE'S HOME OR OFFICE. BismilLaah. There are guidelines on seeking permission to enter someone's home, which is fixed and does not change in ISLAM. They include the following: 1. Not looking inside the house before permission to enter is given. The Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) said: It is not⁰⁰⁰⁰⁰ permissible for a Muslim to look inside any house until he has been given permission.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari in al-Adab al-Mufrad (1093).  2. Saying Assalaamu Alaikum before seeking permission to enter. ALLAH says: “O you who believe! Enter not houses other than your own until you have asked permission and greeted those in them; that is better for you, in order that you may remember”[an-Noor 24:27]. Alhamdulillah.  3.  Knocking on the door or ringing the bell, and so on, takes the place of asking permission ve...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 21st day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Wednesday, 3rd January 2024). LET'S ASK OURSELVES THIS QUESTION. DO I HAVE A FIRM FAITH IN ALLAH?. Bismillah.  “I lost it. I lost the moment. I was so close to doing this act of obedience, and now I’m no longer there. I’m so far away. I don’t know what happened or how to get back there. Please pray for me…” Have you heard this before? Many of our brothers and sisters find themselves in this situation, including myself. It comes to their knowledge that there is a certain aspect of the deen that they should be doing. They get encouraged and feel motivated to do it. They delay taking this step. They think of all the obstacles that could face them. They weaken and become hesitant. They end up not doing what they should be doing. Life absorbs them again. They get back to square one… regretting how they were once so close to an act of obedience, and now they’ve become so far away. The issue is that ALLAH...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 20th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Tuesday, 2nd January 2024). ALLAH'S BLESSINGS DEPENDS ON OUR OBEDIENCE AND AVOIDING SINS. Bismillah. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said in his farewell Hajj: “Wherever and in whatever circumstances you are, fear ALLAH” [Narrated by Imam Tirmidhi]. Fearing ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) logically entails fearing to disobey HIM. The advantage of obeying ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) extends to both this world and the hereafter. ALLAHsays in the holy Quran; “And whosoever fears ALLAH and keeps his duty to HIM, HE will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And HE will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine.” [Surah at-Talaaq, Ayat 2-3].  There is something very serious that we ignore in life, and that's the fact that whatever ALLAH provides to HIS creation as blessings, Satan also provide it's opposite towards disobedience.  Imam Ibn Al-Qayy...
