THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 1st day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 13th January 2024).

LET'S FOCUS IN ATTAINING JANNAT (PARADISE) AND STOP WORRYING ABOUT THIS LIFE DIFFICULTIES. BismilLah.

The Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “If a man were to be dragged on his face from the day he was born until the day he died in order to gain the Pleasure of ALLAH - the Exalted, he would not consider this to be enough on the Day of Resurrection.” [Al-Jaami as-Sagheer min Hadeeth al-Basheer an-Nadheer by Imaam As-Suyooti].

On the Day of Judgement the life of this world will seem to have passed away in seconds while the reward for a life well used will be so phenomenal that whatever one suffered to gain the reward from ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) will seem insignificant.

There was once a famous ruler called Sultan Mahmud of Ghazni and he had a devoted and wise slave called Ayaz. Sultan Mahmud loved Ayaz greatly and promoted him to the highest ranks.

One day Mahmud and Ayaz were sitting together eating lunch. The Sultan shared half of his cucumber with him and Ayaz ate it with relish.

When Ayaz had finished, Mahmud took a bite of his own half. But when Mahmud bit into the cucumber, he immediately spat it out, as it was terribly bitter. Glaring at Ayaz he demanded to know how he could have eaten his piece when it tasted like poison.

Ayaz answered, “My dear king, I have enjoyed so many favours and blessings from you all these years; whatever you give me tastes sweet!”

Ayaz didn’t mind the bitterness of the fruit because his focus was on the one who gave it to him. It was given to him by the king himself. Would he complain after all the favours he had enjoyed?

This is the kind of relationship we need to cultivate with the King of kings, ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala). Today we find some commandments of ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) bitter and hard to follow. However, we should obey them with love and pleasure because they are gifts to us from the Most Merciful. While a bitter cucumber might actually do you some harm of its bitterness, nothing from ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) can do you harm. Let's accept all difficulties we face as trials from ALLAH to test our faith in HIM.

May ALLAH (ArRahmaan, The Most MERCIFUL) grant us Jannat with HIS Rahmah. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless. I did not have a place to sleep. I walked in the dark looking for options and, unfortunately, a thief stole my empty purse with my ID. He was badly hit by a car in high speed as he fle...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 29th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 10th February 2024). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊. It's sunnah from the Prophet Muhammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Don't forget to offer your witir Salaat before sleeping or offer your two rakaats sha...
