THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-ithnayn. 26th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Monday, 8th January 2024). MARRIAGE THROUGH PARENTS OR RELATIVES. BismilLah.

The sad reality of the weak MUSLIM society today is that most sisters want to meet their men themselves, sometimes even commit haraam activities with the intention to get to know each other before marriage AstaghfirulLah Such non Islamic means of getting married is forbidden in Islam and mostly leads to early divorces. Obedience to ALLAH and HIS Messenger must be our priority whenever we intend to do anything. Next is obedience to our parents. The best for a sister is for her parents to strive and find a good practicing Muslim brother or sister and recommend him or her to their daughter or son and the best is if your parents present such a brother or sister to you, don't just ignore but research about him or her and if you notice he or her is a good practicing muslim please accept and trust me, ALLAH will make the Marriage a successful one because of accepting what your parents propose to you. Never ever ignore your parents because of a man or woman you intend to marry.

Obedience to parents is more important than marriage itself only if they are sincere and does it Islāmically. I'm not talking about so-called force Marriage, such is forbidden, but what do we mean by force marriage? Sadly, nowadays, if a father encourages a daughter to marry the parents' choice, we call it force marriage. Yes, you can refuse your parents' recommendation but with legitimate reason and ensure your parents support your choice before proceeding to accept the proposal from the brother or decide to marry her. If a brother approaches you with marriage proposal, request him to give you some time then whilst you research about him from your friends, you inform your parents and other relatives to help research about him before you accept or reject without any haste in making such important decision in life.

May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 9th day of Muharram (Friday 28th August 2020). ACTS THAT CAN EARN US PARADISE. BismilLah.  As Muslims we must always learn and implement actions that can earn us the Pleasure of ALLAH our CREATOR in return for HIS Paradise awaiting HIS sincere servants.  Some of the things that can get us closer to ALLAH are , fasting regularly, Obedience to ALLAH, HIS Messenger, Our Parents etc. following funeral procession of a Muslim, feeding poor people, visiting sick people regularly etc.  Abu Huraira (Radhiallahu 'anhu) reported, that ALLAH'S Messenger (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said: “Who is fasting today?” Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) (again) said: Who has followed a funeral procession today? Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam - the Holy Prophet) again said: Who amongst you has served food to the needy today Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...

BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah to you all. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Today mark the day when ALLAH granted Musah alayhi salaam victory over Fir'awn. Today mark the day ALLAH humiliated HIS worse enemy on earth Fir'awn for his disbelief in ALLAH and claiming he was ALLAH. We are all fasting on this blessed day seeking forgiveness from ALLAH for our sins from last year till date as the Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam recommended.  Those who are unable to fast can still do much to earn lots of rewards especially our sisters and daughters in their monthly cycle. You can recite lots of azkaar and give sadaqah with your intention to seek forgiveness from ALLAH. Please remember today is Friday lets strive to go to Masjid early and also remember to send salutations to our...
