THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn 15th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Monday 30th November. 2020). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Alhamdulillah for granting us another blessed day of the week. We MUST strive to say Alhamdulillah regularly regardless of any situation you find yourself and always remember those you are better than not those above you in anything. Back to our topic.  Before climbing onto bed, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on your right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times. It's sunn...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad 14th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Sunday 29th November. 2020). SEEKING FORGIVENESS REGULARLY. BismilLah.  Satan love to make us feel that ALLAH (Al-Kabeer, The Great) will not forgive sins we commit always so no need to seek forgiveness. That's false. ALLAH, The Most MERCIFUL love to forgive without considering your sins you keep committing. Strive to stop your sins and at the same time never stop seeking forgiveness for your sins.  Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A servant committed a sin and he said: O ALLAH, forgive my sin! ALLAH the Exalted says: My servant has committed a sin and he knows he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds him accountable. Then the servant returned to his sin and he said: O ALLAH, forgive my sin! ALLAH says: My servant has committed a sin and he knows he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds him accountable. Then the servant returned to his sin and he ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt 13th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Saturday 28th November. 2020). PRAISING ALLAH FIRST BEFORE SEEKING HIS HELP. BismilLah.  It's very disrespectful and not right to just raise our hands seeking help or protection etc from ALLAH without praising HIM first. Even on Earth, we all witness especially in Africa such as Ghana, how chiefs are praised before even talking to them. You cannot just go in front of any Chief and start talking without praising him. In Islam we are thought to First praise ALLAH using HIS names and attributes then send praises to the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam next before even praying for yourself, family and other Muslims.  ALLAH(Al-Alim, The All Knowing, The Omniscient) has described HIMSELF in the Quran through HIS Names and Attributes. We Muslims believe that studying these Names and Attributes is one of the most effective ways of strengthening one’s relationship with ALLAH(As-Sami‘e, The All Hearing). Ea...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 11th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Thursday 26th November. 2020). HOW TO BATH OUR DEAD RELATIVE. BismilLah.  When a Muslim dies, it is the responsibility of his family or other Muslims within the local community to wash him or her according to the Islamic rites of washing the deceased. Usually at least two or three to four people will be involved with the actual ghusl (washing and shrouding). The persons who may wash the deceased should be an adult Muslim, honest and trustworthy person and be of the same gender as the deceased ie if the deceased is male, then ONLY males should wash him except husband to a wife and vise versa. For a child, either males or females may do the ghusl it is recommended that those who performed the washing should make wudhu (ablution) PLACE OF WASHING : The deceased’s body should be washed in a clean, secluded, and private place where clean water and soap are available. Gloves must always be worn when handlin...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Arba'a, 10th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Wednesday 25th November. 2020). CURSING AND ABUSING EACH OTHER IS NOT ISLAMIC. Bismillah.  The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: Verily, when a servant curses something, the curse rises to the heaven and the gates of heaven close upon it. It turns right and left and if it does not find somewhere to go, it will return to that which was cursed only if it deserved to be curse; otherwise, the curse will return to the one who made it. Sunan Abu Dawud 4905. Imran ibn Hussein reported: We were with the Messenger of Allah during some of his travels and a woman from the Ansar was on a camel and she abused it and cursed it. When the Prophet heard that, the Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: خُذُوا مَا عَلَيْهَا وَدَعُوهَا فَإِنَّهَا مَلْعُونَةٌ Unload the camel and set it free, for verily, it has been cursed. Sahih Muslim 2595. Abu Barzah Nadlah rep...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha 9th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Tuesday 24th November. 2020). THE RIGHTS OF ANIMALS IN ISLAM. BismilLah. Islam upholds the rights of animals to kind treatment and justice the same as it does for human beings. Animals should not be abused or taken for granted. ALLAH has informed us that the animals are communities like human beings and have similar rights. ALLAH says: وَمَا مِن دَابَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا طَائِرٍ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيْهِ إِلَّا أُمَمٌ أَمْثَالُكُم There is no creature on the earth or bird that flies with its wings but that they are communities like you. Qur'an 6:38. As we are held responsible for our behavior towards other people, so are we held responsible for our behavior towards animals. On the Day of Judgment, ALLAH will restore the rights of every creature including the animals. If we had violated the rights of an animal in the world, then ALLAH will take retribution on their behalf in the Hereafter. Abu Huraira repo...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ithnayn 8th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Monday 23rd November. 2020). SOME of THOSE ALLAH LOVE BASED on THE TEXT in the QUR'AN and SUNNAH Continues. Lets read through and aim to be among them. Bismillah Let's continue from the Reminder yesterday; 7. Those who place their trust and reliance on ALLAH. When you make a decision place your trust in AALLAH because ALLAH loves those who place their trust in HIM. What does it mean to place your trust in ALLAH? It means that you place trust, from your heart, in ALLAH and that HE will give you what is beneficial and protect you. You also believe no one gives; no one withholds no one benefits and no one harms except from ALLAH. The prophet (sallalahu alaiha wa sallam) said “A people will enter paradise and they will have hearts like birds meaning they place their trust in ALLAH just like the bird does. The Prophet explained; if you truly place your trust in ALLAH, HE will provide for you like HE provides ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt 6th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Saturday 21st November. 2020). SOME of THOSE ALLAH LOVE BASED on THE TEXT in the QUR'AN and SUNNAH Continues. Lets read through and aim to be among them. BismilLah. Let's continue from the Reminder yesterday; 4. The person that loves their brother purely for the sake of ALLAH. In a Hadith reported by Muslim, Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet ( sallalahu alaiha wa sallam) said “There was a man who visited his brother who lived in another village, an angel came to him as he was on his way and the angel asked “Where do you plan to go?” he said “I want to visit a brother of mine that resides in that village”, the angel then asked “are you visiting him to repay his favour?”, the man replied “No, the only reason I’m visiting is because I love him for the sake of ALLAH. The angel then said “I am a messenger that has been sent to you from ALLAH to inform you that ALLAH loves you just as you love this person”....
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt 6th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Saturday 21st November. 2020). SOME of THOSE ALLAH LOVE BASED on THE TEXT in the QUR'AN and SUNNAH. Lets read through and aim to be among them. Bismillah. 1. Al-Mumin. The True Believer Who worships ALLAH alone and believes in HIM as he has been commanded to believe.  Sheikh Ibn Taymiyyah said: “The more the slave perfects Tawheed, the more the servant loves ALLAH. Such person rely only on ALLAH for better for worse without going for any spiritual help from sourcesayers or fortune tellers except the Sunnah ways.  2. The one who follows the Sunnah strictly without any religious innovations. ALLAH says: “Say (Oh Muhammed) if you truly love ALLAH then follow me, ALLAH will love you and forgive you your sins”. This verse is also referred to as Surah Intiham (the test). Sheikh Ibn Taymiyyah said: “ALLAH loves those people who stick to the Sunnah. There is no happiness unless we follow the Sunnah strictly,...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat 5th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Friday 20th November. 2020). HOW WE CAN USE OUR GOOD DEEDS IN SUPPLICATING TO ALLAH FOR ALL OUR NEEDS. BismilLah. Let's continue from the Reminder yesterday about the three men who were trapped in a cave and supplicated with their good deeds to seek ALLAH'S MERCY.  Then the second man supplicated: "O Lord, I had a cousin whom I loved her more passionately than anyone loves a woman. I tried to seduce her but she would have none of me, till in a season of great hardship due to famine, she approached me (for help) and I gave her one hundred and twenty Dinars on condition that she would have sexual intercourse with me. She agreed, and when we got together and I was just going to have intercourse with her, she pleaded: ‘Fear ALLAH, and do not break the seal unlawfully’; whereupon I moved away from her, despite the fact that I desired her most passionately; and I let her keep the money I had given her. O L...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-khamis 4th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Thursday 19th November. 2020). Alhamdulillah for HIS blessings and guidance. Is my hope that many of us are fasting today only for ALLAH sake. Reminder today is to share how we can use our good deeds in supplicating to ALLAH for all our needs. Bismillah. Let's study the Story of Three persons blocked in a Cave – Imams Bukhari and Muslim reported that the Messenger sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam said: Three persons of a generation before you, were on a journey when they were overtaken by a storm and therefore they took shelter in a cave. A rock slipped down from the mountain and blocked the exit from cave. One of them said: "The only way for deliverance left is to beseech ALLAH in the name of some virtuous deed." Thereupon one of them supplicated, "O Lord, my parents were very old, I used to offer them their nightly drink of milk before my children and the other members of the family. One day I w...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum arba'a, 3rd day of Rabeeul Thaani (Wednesday 18th November. 2020). HOW TO UNITE AS MUSLIMS FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH. BismilLah.  As the saying goes, ''Unity is Strength'' but unfortunately we have reduced Islam to rituals and forgotten other important tenets. Muslim unity is a Fard (obligatory duty) according to the Quran and Traditions of the Prophet Mohamed (peace and blessings be upon him). Consider the following From the Quran (49:10): ''The Believers are but a single Brotherhood: So make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear ALLAH, that ye may receive Mercy. Also from the Quran (3:103): ''And hold fast, all together, by the rope which ALLAH (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude God's favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by HIS Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of th...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha, 2nd day of Rabeeul Thaani (Tuesday 17th November. 2020). NOURISHMENT OF OUR SPIRITUAL BEING, THE SOUL BismilLah. We all know that ALLAH created the body from the dust of the earth So its nourishment that's food and drink comes from the earth provided by ALLAH, the Creator.  Our SOUL comes from ALLAH as such the nourishment of the soul which is more important comes from ALLAH directly and will go back to ALLAH when we die without the body as the body goes back to the earth till judgement day when ALLAH create a new body for each soul.  The nourishment of the soul without any doubt is the Holy Quran, words of ALLAH, spirituality, our connection with ALLAH and Ibadaat (acts of worship). ALLAH says in the Qur'an to the nearest meaning that Verily, in the remembrance of ALLAH do hearts find rest or peace (QUR'AN 13:28).  Regardless of our busy schedules to try and feed the body, let's not forget the most important part, th...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 30th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Monday 16th November. 2020). TREATING HUSBANDS WELL TO PLEASE ALLAH Bismillah. Let's continue with our topic yesterday; Again, like all rights and obligations in Islam (in marriage and other areas), it is important that BOTH parties understand them and exert their best efforts to apply them in the way that is pleasing to ALLAH Most High. As we saw in the verse from An-Nisa quoted in Yesterday's reminder, it is the right of the husband that his wife obey him. This obedience, however, does not include anything which is disobedience to ALLAH. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No obedience in what is sinful. Obedience is only in what is right." [Muslim & Bukhari]. Two things are now clear:  1) A woman is obligated to obey her husband, and 2) no Muslim may obey anyone in what is disobedience to ALLAH. Additionally, one strong opinion limits the required obedience of the wife to...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 29th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Sunday 15th November. 2020). TREATING HUSBANDS WELL TO PLEASE ALLAH Bismillah. Two days ago I reminded my fellow brothers about good treatment of our wives. I want to remind our sisters today about their part to play.  ALLAH commanded the prophet to tell us that: "Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because ALLAH has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to ALLAH and to their husbands), and guard in the husband's absence what ALLAH orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband's property, etc.)., ..." [Noble Quran 4:34]. The verse seems to present a great right of the husband over the wife. Upon deeper thought, it is clear that this verse actually points to a right of the wife and an obligation of the husband. The word for "in charge of" in Arabic indicates...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 28th day of Rabeeu Awwal (Saturday 14th November. 2020). MANNERS in DEALING WITH OUR PARENTS. Bismillah. ALLAH, the most high says: ‘Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but HIM, and that you be kind to your parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age, say not to them a word of contempt or repel them, but address them in terms of honour. And out of kindness, lower to them the wing of humility and say: ‘My Lord, have mercy on them for they cherished me in childhood.’ (Qur'an 17 vs 23-24) In the above aayah, ALLAH, the Wise gives the order of dealing with parents in an honourable and respectful manner, treating them with love and obeying them. Just as in Surah Luqman, ALLAH, the most great mentions thanks due to HIM with that also of the parents, gratitude should be shown to both. It is proven from this that after the worship and obedience of ALLAH, the most perfect and HIS Messenger, obedience to one’s parents is most lofty ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 27th day of Rabeeu Awwal (Friday 13th November. 2020). CARING FOR OUR WIVES MUST BE A PRIORITY OF EVERY HUSBAND. BismilLaah.  The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) regarded being kind to one's family as being the criterion with regard to who is best in Islam. Whoever wants to be one of the best of the Muslims should be kind to his family, which includes being kind to one’s wife, children and relatives.  The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “You will never spend anything seeking thereby the Face of ALLAH, but you will be rewarded for it, even (the food) that you put in your wife’s mouth.” Narrated by al-Bukhari, 56.  ALLAH created women perfectly and they all have good qualities as well as bad behaviors. It's a duty of each husband to ensure you get the best behavior out of your wife. There is nothing like bad wife. If your wife have change to be bad, then blame yourself not her. If ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 26th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Thursday 12th November. 2020). IF YOU DON'T MIND TO GO TO PARADISE, AT LEAST FEAR ENTERING HELL FIRE. BismilLaah.  ALLAH is warning those who denies about judgement day by saying in the Holy Quran 77:40 وَيۡلٌ يَوۡمَئِذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ  Woe, that Day, to the deniers. That will be a Day of Decision! ALLAH will say on judgement day "I have brought you and the men of old together! So if you have a plot, use it against Me! This is an address from the Creator to HIS servants. ALLAH will gather all of them by HIS power on one common plane, HE will make them hear the caller and HE will cause them to see. Then HE says,  فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ  (So, if you have a plot, use it against Me!) This is a serious threat and a harsh warning. It means, `if you are able to save yourselves from being seized by ME, and rescue yourselves from My ruling, then do so. But you are certainly not able...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 25th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Wednesday 11th November. 2020). THE REAL AND TRUE TREASURE.  BismilLaah. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “ALLAH gives worldly things to those HE loves and to those HE does not love, but HE grant eeman (faith) only to those HE loves most, so he who is given eeman by ALLAH, has been loved by HIM.” [Ahmad, Bayhaqiy]. The most priceless treasure on earth is eeman(faith or belief system). This is the currency that will buy us eternal happiness and all the riches you want to keep forever. Thus, whoever is given the treasure of eeman is among the most beloved people to ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala). We must strive to earn that from ALLAH, ALLAH does not just grant it without our efforts even though HE does as HE wishes.  If something is not in your share in this worldly life (e.g. car, house, nice clothes, good food) etc, it makes no difference. The duration of this life compared...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha, 24th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Tuesday 10th November. 2020). ONLY ALLAH DESERVES OUR WORSHIP. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. O mankind! Worship your Lord (ALLAH), Who created you and those who were before you so that you may acquire Taqwa (Righteousness,  consciousness of ALLAH or Acting only to please ALLAH seeking HIS PARADISE). ALLAH mentioned HIS Oneness in divinity and stated that HE has favored HIS servants by bringing us to life after we did not exist. Allahu Akbar.  HE also surrounded us with blessings, both hidden and apparent. Which of the favours of ALLAH can we deny?  May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al ithnayn, 23rd day of Rabeeul Awwal (Monday.9th November. 2020). CHANGING OUR NEGATIVE BEHAVIOUR INTO POSITIVE WAYS OF LIFE. Bismillaah. If your character is negative, you have the power and the choice to do what it takes to alter it. The greatest power we have as human beings is the power of choice. Almighty ALLAH says in Quran [76:3] “HE has shown us the way to be either grateful or ungrateful.” This is simply about choice, either to be thankful and turn towards the way of ALLAH or being ungrateful and turning towards your own heart desires. If your character is flawed, you can change it. You can change your worldly character to Godly character by : • Changing your words and thought patterns; • Making the word of ALLAH your final authority in life; • Doing what is right at all times; • Doing away with friends who have worldly character; • Walking in love and offering others the advantage at all times; • Being willing to pay the price, a...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 22nd day of Rabeeul Awwal (Sunday 8th November. 2020). EXCELLENCE and ETIQUETTES of SINCERE LOVE FOR THE SAKE of ALLAH. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem  Anas bin Malik (May ALLAH be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, "There are three qualities whoever has them, will taste the sweetness of eemaan: To love ALLAH and HIS Messenger (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) more than anyone else; to love a slave (of ALLAH) only for (the sake of) ALLAH; and to abhor returning to infidelity after ALLAH has saved him from it as he would abhor to be thrown into the fire (of Hell)". [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. In this Hadith, the love of ALLAH signiffies the sweetness of eeman. The love of ALLAH and HIS Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) is the cornerstone of the Faith. When it is said that this love should exceed one's love for everything else in the universe, it means that what is enjoined by ALLAH and HIS...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 21st day of Rabeeul Awwal (Saturday 7th November. 2020). DO NOT BE ALONE WITH NON RELATIVE OPPOSITE-GENDA. Bismillah. To be alone with a non-mahram(non relative) opposite genda means offering Shaytaan the licence to operate you in disobeying ALLAH because satan is always the 3rd to make you commit haraam deeds such as zina of the eyes, zina of the hand etc as ALLAHand HIS Messenger warned.  It is not permitted for a man to be alone in a house, room or car with a non-mahram woman, including his brother's wife or a servant except in circumstances beyond the two. Similarly a female patient should not be alone with a doctor, and so on so. Many people are careless about this matter without going to see a doctor with their wife or daughter, whether because they trust themselves which is not right  or for some other reason, with the results that many commit indecent acts or take the steps that lead to them, which in turn results in the...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 20th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Friday 6th November. 2020). SUMMARY OF HOW TO PERFORM GHUSUL (PURE ISLAMIC BATH) IN PREPARATION FOR JUMUAT AND FOR PURIFICATION. BismilLaah.  First, the Muslim should make their intentions for purification; just make up your mind that you are going to take your ghusul for jumuat that’s all. You can first take your normal bath to clean any dirt or first wash ur private parts then make wudu like the wuduu we do for prayer, pour water from your head to wash your right side, then the left side. Make sure your entire body is washed properly. It is also reported in the sunnah that the washing the feet during wuduu should be delayed until the end of the ghusl before you wash your feet.  Also Remember to recite Suuratul Kahf, send more salutations to the Prophet(Allahummah Sally Alaa Muhammad to the end), use perfume whiles going to masjid(only men), clean your teeth with miswak(tooth stick), walk to masjid i...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 19th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Thursday 5th November. 2020). AN EXCELLENT WAY IN GETTING CLOSER TO ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER. Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem.  Islam teaches us to utilize our time, our money and our knowledge for the sake of ALLAH.  Sponsor an orphan. The Messenger of ALLAH (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “I will be like this in Jannah (Paradise) with the person who takes care of an orphan.” the Messenger of ALLAH raised his forefinger and middle finger by way of illustration. This is very vital since sponsoring an orphan costs but a fragment of our income, and the reward for taking care of orphans is beyond what we can imagine in this life. FRIDAY GIFT: Always keep these Two Words in your Mind and libs:  AlhamdulilLah and AstaghfirulLah.  AlhamdulilLah keeps you Closer to ALLAH while AstaghfirulLah Keeps you away from Sins. May ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty and the Majestic) aid us through our little ef...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba-a, 18th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Wednesday 4th November. 2020). SOME WAYS TO GOODNESS. Bismillah Imam Al-Bukhari and Imam Muslim narrated that Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May ALLAH be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Giving in charity is an obligation upon every Muslim". It was said (to him): "What about one who does not find (the means) to do so?'' He (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Let him work with his hands, thus doing benefit to himself and give in charity.'' It was said to him: "What if he does not have (the means) to do so?'' He (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Then let him assist the needy, the aggrieved.'' It was said: "What about if he cannot even do this?'' He (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Then he should enjoin good.'' He was asked: "What if he cannot do that?'' He (the Prophet sallallah...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Salaatha, 17th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Tuesday 3rd November. 2020). RULINGS on ADOPTING NICKNAMES IN ISLAM. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem.  Alhamdulillah. Islam is a complete code of life which deals with all sorts of issues. Bassically , there is no harm in adopting any good meaningful nickname  as long as they do not imply anything impermissible, such as contempt, hate, pride,  arrogance and so forth. It is narrated in Imam Bukhari's al Adab al Mufrad that the Prophet (ALLAH bless him and grant him peace) would refer to Sayyidah `Aa'ishah may ALLAH be pleased with her as "Aa-ish" and Sayyidina `Uthman may ALLAH be pleased with  as "`Uth". So we can call our love ones with nicknames such as Princess, Darling,  Imam, etc. The title "Abu Hurairah" may ALLAH be pleased with him is a Nick name the PROPHET sallallahu alaihi wasallam gave to Abdur-Raḥmān ibn Sakhr (عبد الرحمن بن صخر) which means "Father of a Kitte...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn 16th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Monday 2nd November. 2020). HOW TO MAKE DUA.  BismilLah. Before making any dua, we are thought to first 1. Praise ALLAH (SWT) and to thank HIM and show gratitude to HIS RAHMAH (Blessings and Guidance).  Example is the first 3 verses of suratul Fatihah,  Aayatul Kursy. Laailaaha illaa Anta, Anta Nuurus Samaawaati wal Ard, etc. 2. You then follow that by sending salutations to the Prophet(Salaat Alan Nabi) which is "ALLAH humma salli alaa muhammad wa-alaa aali  muhammad kama sallaita alaa Ibraaheem wa alaa aali Ibraheem inna ka hameedum majeed. ALLAH hummabarik alaa  muhammad wa alaa aali  muhammad kamaa baarakta alaa  Ibraaheem wa alaa aali  Ibraheem inna ka hameedum majeed". 3. Then Make your dua starting from those mentioned in Quran and Sunnah in Arabic like saying Allahummah Ajirnii Minan Naar(Oh ALLAH Protect me from the hell fire). Then you can use your language to ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 15th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Sunday 1st November. 2020). COURTSHIP IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  To non Muslims, courtship is a period during which a couple develop a romantic relationship before getting married with excuse of getting to know each other well regardless of any disobedience to ALLAH within such relationship. This kind of relationship is strictly forbidden in Islam. Islam has a permissible form of courtship before the actual wedding day. First of all, it's not permissible and not recommended or healthy for any Muslim who is not ready for marriage to initiate any form of relationship with a brother or sister. It's important to build good relationship with ALLAH first through studies of Islam and also building a good and halaal career or source of income before even thinking of marriage. Don't waste your time with anyone within these period and be focused especially our brothers and sisters in education or in any apprenticeship....
