 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 30th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Monday 16th November. 2020).

TREATING HUSBANDS WELL TO PLEASE ALLAH Bismillah.

Let's continue with our topic yesterday;

Again, like all rights and obligations in Islam (in marriage and other areas), it is important that BOTH parties understand them and exert their best efforts to apply them in the way that is pleasing to ALLAH Most High.

As we saw in the verse from An-Nisa quoted in Yesterday's reminder, it is the right of the husband that his wife obey him. This obedience, however, does not include anything which is disobedience to ALLAH. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No obedience in what is sinful. Obedience is only in what is right." [Muslim & Bukhari].

Two things are now clear:

1) A woman is obligated to obey her husband, and 2) no Muslim may obey anyone in what is disobedience to ALLAH. Additionally, one strong opinion limits the required obedience of the wife to those duties being described. In other words, the husband should not seek to control every detail of her life, even in things which have no direct impact on his rights as her husband.

It is the obligation of the wife to respond whenever her husband calls her to come to bed unless there is a strong reason why she cannot. Again, like in the issue of leadership, this is the way which ALLAH has given us to live which is best for us - since nothing we do or do not do cannot in any way harm or benefit ALLAH Most High. Thus, when women resist this and insist on being the ones who call the shots in this regard or that it is somehow 50/50, it is only the two of them who will suffer. It will lead to frustration, marital discord and the husband's desire to seek fulfillment of his needs elsewhere. If he ends up turning to the haram, then a very great harm indeed has been inflicted upon society. This point is clear from many hadith, among them:

"Whenever a man calls his wife to bed and she refuses to come, the angels curse her until morning." [Al-Bukhari]. May ALLAH keep guiding our marriages and protect it from any satanic influences. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless. I did not have a place to sleep. I walked in the dark looking for options and, unfortunately, a thief stole my empty purse with my ID. He was badly hit by a car in high speed as he fle...
  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 29th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 10th February 2024). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊. It's sunnah from the Prophet Muhammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Don't forget to offer your witir Salaat before sleeping or offer your two rakaats sha...
