THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 28th day of Rabeeu Awwal (Saturday 14th November. 2020).

MANNERS in DEALING WITH OUR PARENTS. Bismillah.

ALLAH, the most high says: ‘Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but HIM, and that you be kind to your parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age, say not to them a word of contempt or repel them, but address them in terms of honour. And out of kindness, lower to them the wing of humility and say: ‘My Lord, have mercy on them for they cherished me in childhood.’ (Qur'an 17 vs 23-24)

In the above aayah, ALLAH, the Wise gives the order of dealing with parents in an honourable and respectful manner, treating them with love and obeying them. Just as in Surah Luqman, ALLAH, the most great mentions thanks due to HIM with that also of the parents, gratitude should be shown to both. It is proven from this that after the worship and obedience of ALLAH, the most perfect and HIS Messenger, obedience to one’s parents is most lofty in rank, as is the same with gratitude and showing thanks. Do not look at what they've done wrong against you, remember their suffering especially our mum's during, pregnancy, labour and upbringing and honour them for Allah sake. You do so for your own sake seeking ALLAH'S Mercy and Blessings not based on how they are or were to you. May ALLAH, the most merciful aid us to be able to deal with our parents well for HIS sake. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 30th day of Rajab 1446AH, Thursday. 30th Jan. 2025). MEANING OF ALLAH CREATING HUMANS IN HIS OWN IMAGE.  BismilLah. Unfortunately, other faiths have made a serious mistake in trying to compare The CREATOR, ALLAH Azzawajal with HIS Creation human beings in physical appearance, and that's blasphemy and serious error  Sheikh AbuAmina, in one of his articles, explained that, in Islam, we believe that all people have been created in the “image” of ALLAH Azzawajal. But what does this mean? ALLAH Azzawajal is the creator of everything, including all people. That people are in the “image of ALLAH Azzawajal” means they are in the form that HE, ALLAH Azzawajal has chosen and honored for them, not that they resemble ALLAH Azzawajal in physical appearance or share in the Divine Essence. Just as we say a righteous person is the “servant of ALLAH” and a mosque is the “house of ALLAH” as a way to honor them, likewise is it an added dignity for pe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
