 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Arba'a, 10th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Wednesday 25th November. 2020).

CURSING AND ABUSING EACH OTHER IS NOT ISLAMIC. Bismillah. 


The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said:

Verily, when a servant curses something, the curse rises to the heaven and the gates of heaven close upon it. It turns right and left and if it does not find somewhere to go, it will return to that which was cursed only if it deserved to be curse; otherwise, the curse will return to the one who made it.

Sunan Abu Dawud 4905.


Imran ibn Hussein reported: We were with the Messenger of Allah during some of his travels and a woman from the Ansar was on a camel and she abused it and cursed it. When the Prophet heard that, the Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

خُذُوا مَا عَلَيْهَا وَدَعُوهَا فَإِنَّهَا مَلْعُونَةٌ

Unload the camel and set it free, for verily, it has been cursed. Sahih Muslim 2595.


Abu Barzah Nadlah reported: A young woman was riding a camel on which was the people’s luggage. When she saw the Messenger of ALLAH and the pass of the mountain became narrow, the young woman said to the camel, “Go ahead.” When it did not move, she said, “O ALLAH, curse it!” The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

لَا تُصَاحِبْنَا نَاقَةٌ عَلَيْهَا لَعْنَةٌ

A camel that has been cursed should not accompany us. Sahih Muslim 2596. That's even animals but today we see parents cursing their children due to little mistakes, children abusing their parents due to little misunderstanding. These kind of curses turns back to hunt our life. Many parents are struggling bcs their children can't find sustenance to support them forgetting of the fact that they've cursed these children during upbringing and that's hunting the children. 


May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
