THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 10th day of Shaw'waal, 1444AH (Sunday, 30th April 2023). THE IMPORTANCE of HALAAL SUSTENANCE. BismilLah.  There is no doubt that one of the obligations upon the Muslim is that he/she earns for him/herself and his family a pure and halal sustenance. Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "O People! ALLAH is al-Tayyib (Pure), and HE only accepts that which is pure! ALLAH has commanded the believers what HE has commanded the Messengers, for HE said, 'O Messengers! Eat from the pure foods, and do right,' and HE said, 'O you who believe! Eat from the pure and good foods ALLAH has given you.'" Then the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) mentioned a traveller on a long journey, who is dishevelled and dusty, and he stretches forth his hands to the sky, saying, "O my Lord! O my Lord!" - while his food is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, his clothing is unlawful, and he is no...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 9th day of Shaw'waal, 1444AH (Saturday, 29th April 2023). STAYING STEADFAST AFTER RAMADHAAN. Bismillah. Been Muslims of the creator not for Ramadhaan means we must continuously be in the state of obedience to ALLAH'S, firm upon His rules, steadfast upon His Deen, so that we are not of those who worship ALLAH only during one month or only in one place. Rather, the believer knows that the Lord of Ramadhan is also the Lord of other months, and that HE is the Lord of all times and places, so he is steadfast upon the rules of the creator until we meets HIM while HE is pleased with us.  If standing in prayer at night during Ramadhan has ended, then there remains voluntary night prayer throughout the year. Let's strive to get closer to our Creator and abandon Satan because he is our enemy.  May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 8th day of Shaw'waal, 1444AH (Friday, 28th April 2023). WHY DATING THE NON ISLAMIC WAY IS HARAAM (Forbidden/Unlawful) In Islam. BismilLah.  Most people justify dating with the notion that they just want to know each other better before they can marry. Islam believes that anything that can cause people to sin should be avoided before a person falls into temptation and it is so with dating.  The following are some of the reasons why dating is haram in Islam: First, those dating start their date at a time when they're not really ready and well prepared to enter into marriage (e.g. students dating secretly or openly while in school). They are exposed to many temptations that normally end in disappointment and separation, which is against the ethics of Islam. Those dating usually meet alone in a secret place and it is where most romantic affairs starts as the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) have warn us on that in a hadith sayi...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis. 7th day of Shaw'waal, 1444AH (Thursday, 27th April 2023). THE FUTURE IS FOR ISLAM, THE ONLY TRUE SYSTEM OF LIFE. BismilLah.  Islam came with this total guidance and decisive teaching. A Muslim has no country except that part of the earth where the Shari'ah of ALLAH is established and human relationships are based on the foundation of relationship with ALLAH; a Muslim has no nationality except his belief, which makes him or her a member of the Muslim community in Dar-ul-Islam; a Muslim has no relatives except those who share the belief in ALLAH, and thus a bond is established between him and other Believers through their relationship with ALLAH. A Muslim has no relationship with his mother, father, brother, wife and other family members except through their relationship with the Creator, and then they are also joined through blood; ALLAH says; "O mankind, remain conscious of your Sustainer, Who created you from one soul and crea...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 6th day of Shaw'waal, 1444AH (Wednesday, 26th April 2023). GUIDANCE IS ONLY GRANTED TO THOSE WHO HAVE TAQWA. BismilLah.  Hidayah (guidance) is only granted to those who have Taqwa (consciousness of ALLAH). ALLAH says, (Say to mankind: It is for those who believe, a guide and a healing. And as for those who disbelieve, there is heaviness (deafness) in their ears, and it (the Qur'an) is blindness for them. They are those who are called from a place far away (so they neither listen nor understand)) (41:44), and, (And ALLAH send down of the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism and act on it), and it increases the Zaalimin (wrongdoers) in nothing but loss) (17:82). This is a sample of the numerous Aayaat indicating that the believers, in particular, benefit from the Qur'an. That is because the Qur'an is itself a form of guidance, but the guidance in it is only granted to the ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-Ath-thalaatha. 5th day of Shaw'waal, 1444AH (Tuesday, 25th April 2023). WHAT NEXT AFTER RAMADHAN continues. BismilLah. Fasting in Ramadan has ended, but there remains voluntary fasting that can keep our eemain on check, such as fasting six days in Shawwaal, on Mondays and Thursdays, the three days in the middle of the month, the days of `Aashoora and `Arafat, and others.  If standing in prayer at night during Ramadan has ended, then there remains voluntary night prayer throughout the year. ALLAH says, "They used to sleep but little of the night.Adh-Dhaariyaat, 17. If the charity in Ramadan and zakat ul-fitr have ended, then there is the obligatory Zakat, and also there are many other open doors to charity, voluntary actions, Reading of the Qur'an and contemplating it is not only for Ramadan, rather it is for all times. Righteous actions are for all times and all places, so let's strive O my brothers and sisters  and let's bewa...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 4th day of Shaw'waal, 1444AH (Monday, 24th April 2023). SO WHAT NEXT AFTER RAMADHAN BismilLaah. AlhamdulilLah for guiding us all through the blessed month of Ramadhan.   What Have We Gained From Ramadhan? Ramadhan is a school of eeman and a 'stop to recharge one's spiritual batteries' - to acquire one's provision for the rest of the year... For when will one take a lesson and change for better if not in the month of Ramadhan? The noble month is a true school of transformation in which we change our actions, habits, and manners that are in variance with the Law of ALLAH 'azza wa jall. Verily, ALLAH does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. (Qur'an 13:11). If you are from those who benefited from Ramadhan, fulfilled the requirements of taqwa, truly fasted the month, prayed in it with truthfulness, and strove against your soul, then praise and thank ALLAH, and ask HIM for st...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul ahad. 3rd day of Shaw'waal, 1444AH (Sunday, 23rd April 2023). SOME STEPS TO PROTECT US FROM SATAN'S RETURN. BismilLah.  Sheitan is now back from prison like a wounded lion trying to recapture his friends he lost due to Ramadhan. Let's not make the Quran a decoration piece until next Ramadhan. Let's try our best each day to recite the Quran at least 30 minutes each day as minimum or a certain number of pages each day. We should also try to understand the meaning of what we recite by listening to tafseer. If we don't do this, then we can't understand what it is that ALLAH is trying to tell us. And of course, We should learn to live our lives with the teachings from the Quran. This is the true way to show ALLAH that we love HIM and we do everything for HIS pleasure. TO BE CONTINUED. Please accept my apologies for not responding to your eid wishes individually for the past few days, as I have been on a journey since Friday till t...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 2nd day of Shaw'waal, 1444AH (Saturday, 22nd April 2023). HAVE YOU STARTED FASTING FOR YOUR RAMADHAN DEBTS OR STARTED YOUR 6 DAYS IN SHAWWAL? BismilLah.  It's important we don't delay any acts of worship that can get us closer to ALLAH. Those who missed any days in Ramadhan should start fasting now without delaying it unless with genuine reasons to delay it. Those who don't owe any days should start fasting the 6 recommended days in this month Shawwaal.  The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) explained this when he said: “Whoever fasts for six days after (Eid) al-Fitr has completed the year: (whoever does a good deed (hasanah) will have ten hasanah like it).” According to another report: “ALLAAH has made for each hasanah ten like it, so a month is like fasting ten months, and fasting six days is like fasting 2 months that completes the whole year.”  Even though its permissible to fast these 6 special days wi...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 1st day of Shaw'waal, 1444AH (Friday, 21st April 2023). EID MUBARAK TO ALL. BismilLah. May ALLAH accept our acts of worship and forgive our shortcomings during the blessed month. May ALLAH heal our sick brothers and sisters, May ALLAH protect all marriages from any satanic influences, May ALLAH grant us good wives and husbands, May ALLAH protect our jobs and aid jobless brothers and sisters to find good halaal jobs. May ALLAH Unite this Ummah and protect us from divisions. May ALLAH aid HIS servants and guide the enemies of Islam into Islam. Let's strive to feed our neighbours and make eid enjoyable to all. Once again Eid Mubarak. JazaakumulLaahu Khairan for all your support in the blessed month of Ramadhan.  May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis. 29th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Thursday, 20th April 2023). ALL WE NEED TO KNOW AND PREPARE FOR EIDUL FITIR. BismilLah.    EID-UL-FITR is celebrated on the first day of Shaw'waal, at the completion of RAMADHAN, which is likely to be tomorrow Friday or Saturday subject to moon sightings tonight or not  in Shaa ALLAH Shaw'waal is the 10th month of the Islamic calendar. The Eid-al-Fitr is a very joyous day; it is a true Thanksgiving Day for the believing men and women. On this day we Muslims show our real joy for the health, strength and the opportunities of life, which ALLAH has given to us to fulfill our obligation of fasting and other good deeds during the blessed month of Ramadhan.  On the eid day, please wake up early.  Prepare for personal cleanliness, take care of details of clothing, etc. Take a Ghusl (Islamic bath). Brush your teeth. Dress up, putting on best clothes available, whether new or cleaned old one...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 28th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Wednesday, 19th April 2023). LET'S STRIVE TO PERFECT OUR ACTS OF WORSHIP AS THE QUANTITY HAS NO REWARDS WITHOUT KHUSHOO (Steadfastness). BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of these blessed days and nights of Ramadhan. It is narrated that once the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was in the masjid and saw a man praying. When the man finished, the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam informed him that he had not prayed and should repeat his salaah. This happened multiple times, and when the man inquired about how this could be, the Prophet explained that the man was praying in a way that he was not fulfilling the criteria for each part of the prayer to be accepted. [Bukhari 757]. This teaches us that merely doing the actions in the prayer is not enough. Rather, there are criteria that must be followed. It’s much better to pray slowly, ensuring to fulfil each criterion rathe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 27th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Tuesday, 18th April 2023). LAYLATUL QADR MAY BE TONIGHT. BismilLah.  Are you one of those making this mistake? Many of us tend to give our maximum efforts on only the odd nights especially on the 27th night of Ramadan, and from the 28th they relax and some may not do any act of worship believing LaylatulQadar had come and gone. That's a huge error of judgement. It may be tonight or tomorrow night so don’t relax please.  The Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam said: “I came out to tell you when Laylat al-Qadr was, and So and so and So and so were arguing, so it [the knowledge of when Laylat al-Qadr was] was taken away from me. Perhaps this is better for you...” [al-Bukhari 1919]. The fact of the matter is that no one can be certain about Laylat al-Qadr, so let's keep striving till the Moon is confirmed sighted.   May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influence...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 26th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Monday, 17th April 2023). LET'S BE MINDFUL ON OUR TONGUE BismilLah.  As we approaches the last few days of Ramadan in which Laylatul qadar may appear if not come and gone, It's very important to note that Ramadhan is not about only avoiding eating, sexual relationship etc but equally and more importantly, protecting our fasting by speaking good words or remaining silence throughout the day bcs a single act of backbiting, slandering etc will automatically damage our fasting from achieving any rewards for it.  Therefore, the servant must be aware! We could lose our rewards for the fasting and prayer from just one gathering. There is no success for us unless we learn how to imprison our tongues from vain talk.  ALLAH has placed this tongue of ours in prison. It does not come out except when there is a need for it. You will find lots of the time our tongues are not engaged in zikir. Rather, we ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 25th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Sunday, 16th April 2023). LET'S KEEP STRIVING AND BE STEADFAST TILL END OF RAMADHAN. Bismillah. And whosoever strives, he strives only for himself. Verily, ALLAH stands not in need of any of the creatures. Then ALLAH tells us that even though HE has no need from HIS creatures, HE is kind and generous to us. HE will still give to those who believe and do righteous deeds the best of rewards, which is that HE will expiate for them their bad deeds, and will reward them according to the best deeds that they did. HE will accept the fewest good deeds and in return for one good deed will give anything between ten rewards and seven hundred, but for every bad deed, He will give only one evil merit, or even that HE may overlook and forgive. ALLAHU AKBAR.  This is like the Ayah, إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَظْلِم...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 24th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Saturday, 15th April 2023). PURPOSE OF ZAKAATUL FITIR. Bismillah. The main purpose of Zakah al-Fitr is to provide those who fasted with the means of making up for their errors during the month of fasting. Zakah al-Fitr also provides the poor with a means with which they can celebrate the festival of breaking the fast (`Eid al-Fitr) along with the rest of the Muslims. Ibn Abbas reported, "The Prophet (peace be upon him) made Zakah al-Fitr compulsory so that those who fasted may be purified of their idle deeds and shameful talk (committed during Ramadan) and so that the poor may be fed. Whoever gives it before Salah will have it accepted as Zakah, while he who gives it after the Salah has given Sadaqah." [Collected by Imam Abu Dawud - Eng. transl. vol. 2, p. 421, no. 1605]. Hence, the goal of Sadaqah al-Fitr is the spiritual development of the Believers. By making us give up some of our wealth, the believ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 23rd day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Friday, 14th April 2023). PREPARE TO GIVE YOUR ZAKAATUL FITIR. BismilLah.  Zakaat al-Fitr is often referred to as Sadaqah al-Fitr. The word Fitr means the same as Iftar, breaking a fast, and it comes from the same root word as Futur, which means breakfast. Thus, Islamically, Zakaat al-Fitr is the name given to charity, which is distributed at the end of the fast of Ramadan. This is not the yearly Zakaat payment.  Sadaqah al-Fitr is a duty that is Wajib on every Muslim, whether male or female, minor or adult, as long as he/she has the means to do so. The proof that this form of charity is compulsory can be found in the Sunnah whereby Ibn `Umar reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) made Zakah al-Fitr compulsory on every slave, freeman, male, female, young and old among the Muslims; one Saa of dried dates or one Saa of barley. Collected by Bukhari - Arabic/English, vol. 2, p. 339, no. 579. The...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-khamis. 22nd day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Thursday, 13th April 2023). LET'S MAXIMISE OUR REWARDS THROUGH OUR GOOD DEEDS. BismilLah.  Ramadhan is running away like it never started. A few days ago, we were talking about when Ramadhan starts, but today, sadly, we are counting the days left for Ramadhan to finish. May ALLAH count us among those who are successful in this blessed month.  ALLAH says; O you who believe! Do your duty to ALLAH and fear HIM. And seek the Waseela (means of approach to HIM), and strive hard in HIS Cause (as much as you can), so that you may be successful. (Quran, 5:35). We learn from this verse that we should use our good deeds in seeking Nearness to ALLAH or in our dua. This means we should strive to do more good deeds, and in our dua, we should use those good deeds as Tawassul seeking its acceptance from ALLAH. The Ramadhan Sadaqah you give to the poor is the best good deed to mention during your dua seeking ALLAH...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 21st day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Wednesday 12th April 2023). LET'S STRIVE HARD SEEKING LAYLATUL QADAR. BismilLah.  Many people make the mistake and only strive hard in their prayers, du’a, tawbah and charity on the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadhan. While it’s true that there is a bigger chance of Laylat al-Qadr being in the odd nights, it is fully possible for it to be in one of the even nights!  Ibn ‘Umar RA told us that the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said: “Seek Laylat al-Qadr in the last ten days of Ramadhan.” [Muslim, 2/823]. Laylatul Qadr is so great that if you stand in prayer/Zikir and to be blessed with it, all of your sins will be forgiven! Our sisters in their monthly cycle should also wake up and strive to seek laylatul Qadar through zikir. Dont go to the masjid. Just dress decently and sit in your room to recite your zikir.   May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and grant us Laylatul Qadar by HIS M...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 20th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Tuesday 11th April 2023). MAY ALLAH GRANT US LAYLATUL QADAR. AAMEEN. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah for guiding us into the last 10 days of Ramadhan. I'm certain no one needs to be informed of the importance of these days ahead of us. Don’t focus on only certain nights searching for laylatul qadar. Focus on all the last nights till the end of Ramadhan so that you dont miss out.  Lets make dua our priority, especially those the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam thought us to focus seeking laylatul Qadar such as;  اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي Allaahumma Innaka Afuwwon Tuhibbul Affwa FAafu Annii  Oh ALLAH! You are most forgiving, YOU love to forgive, so please forgive me. Another important dua to focus on is
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 19th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Monday 10th April 2023). LAST 10 DAYS OF GOLDEN REWARDS START TONIGHT. BismilLah.  The last ten days of Ramadhan are very precious indeed: ALLAH'S Messenger used to exert himself in devotion during the last ten nights to a greater extent than at any other time." (Muslim). Please don't ask me about the odd days in these last days in trying to use our wisdom to acquire laylatul Qadar. You may miss it if you do so, just strive to get some time in acts of worship throughout the night of the last days as no one can be certain which days or nights are the odd days this month.  Our mother Aishah (may ALLAH be pleased with her) reported that during the last ten days of Ramadhan; the Messenger of ALLAH would wake his wives up during the night and then remain apart from them (that is, being busy in acts of worship, seeking  Laylatul Qadr. (Bukhari). Here are some ways that we can all make the best of ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 18th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Sunday 9th April 2023). KULLU NAFSIN....?.       BismilLah.  All of us will die sooner or later, but the serious question remains as to HOW? In a state where ALLAH is pleased with us or where HE is displeased? ALLAH says: “ Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: “My Lord! Send me back”. (Quran, 23:99). Why does he want to be sent back to this world? Is it to live longer? Is it to earn more money? Definitely NO. The answer is: “ So that I may act righteously in that (world) which I have left behind…” But is it possible to come back after death? “… Never! It is simply a word he utters, and behind them is a barrier till the day when they will be resurrected.” (Quran, 23:100) Alhamdulillah! You and I are still alive, and we have the opportunity to do good deeds and act righteously. Let’s not delay that lest we meet the same fate stated in those verses. One lives only once, and th...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 17th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Saturday 9th April 2023). ISLAMIC SOLUTION TO FORGETFULNESS .    Bismillah . Islam is a complete way of life, and it has all the solutions to all the creation of ALLAH. It is human nature to be forgetful, as the Arab poet said: “He is only called man (insaan) because of his forgetfulness (nasiyaan), and it is only called the heart (al-qalb) because it changes so rapidly (yataqallib).” Some of the things that may help to combat forgetfulness are: Keeping away from sin, because the bad effects of sin result in a bad memory and the inability to retain knowledge. The darkness of sin can not co-exist with the light of knowledge. The knowledge of ALLAAH is light, and the light of ALLAAH is not given to the sinner.” We are talking about beneficial knowledge here please so don't ask me why some  of the kuffar are knowledgeable. If your knowledge does not aid you to earn the halaal way and live in ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 16th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Friday 7th April 2023). ZAKAAT ON LIVESTOCK. BismilLah. Before we move to livestock, let me clarify from the Reminder yesterday that, if you can't be bothered to check how much 85grams of gold is worth to determine if your savings are enough to pay zakaat, just ignore that and check how much you have in savings or how much you are worth then pay 2.5% to the poor or needy. If your savings are not up to the required amount and you still pay 2.5% to the poor, you get rewarded as sadaqah anyway. ALLAH knows best.  Zakaat is obligatory on livestock such as camels, cattle, sheeps and goat if they are tended to for a year or more, freely grazing in a pasture land or vacant open lands. If thier amount reach the nisab(minimum required) and are in ones possession for a whole year, one pay zakaat on them if they were held for the purpose of milking and reproduction. The amount to be paid for sheep and goat are as ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis. 15th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Thursday 6th April 2023). HAVE YOU PAID YOUR ZAKAAT THIS YEAR? BismilLah. Zakaat is one of the Five pillars of islam. It is an obligation from ALLAH upon every Muslim who possesses the minimum amount of wealth given certain conditions. This is not Zakaatul Fitir or Eidul Fitir.  The type of wealth upon which zakat is obligatory are Monetary assets, Livestock, Agricultural produce, Merchandise. I will focus on monetary. Gold, Silver and currency. Zakaat [obligatory charity] must be paid on gold if it reaches the Nisaab [i.e. the minimum amount liable for Zakaah], which is 20 Mithqaal [a measure which equals 85 grams of pure gold, 1 Mithqaal = 4.25 grams], this means that one should pay ½ a Mithqaal as Zakaat, i.e., 2.5% of the value of gold. Zakaat must be paid on silver if it reaches the value of 200 Dirhams, which is the equivalent of 595 grams of pure silver; one should then pay five Dirhams as Zakaa...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 14th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Wednesday 5th April 2023). The Power of Istiqhfaar (Seeking forgiveness from ALLAH). Don't miss this true story. BismilLah.  This true story about “Istighfar” is from the life of Imam Ahmed Bin Hanbal, may ALLAH be pleased with him, who is considered as a renowned scholar of Islam and a famous theologian. Imam Ahmed is also considered to be the founder of the Hanbali school of fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and is often referred to as the “Sheikh ul-Islam” or the “Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah(Strick follower of the Prophet teachings and actions).” During his old age, while he was travelling, he stopped by a town. After the prayers, he wanted to stay for the night in the masjid yard because he didn’t know anyone in the town. Owing to his humility, he hadn’t introduced himself to anyone thinking that if he did, it may turn into something else as he was one of the famous scholars at that time to all Muslims worldwide...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha 13th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Tuesday 4th April 2023).  PROMISE BY ALLAH TO BELIEVERS. BismilLah.  ALLAH, Blessed Be HIS Name, says;  “Whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a BELIEVER, ALLAH will surely bless them with a good life, and ALLAH will certainly reward them according to the best of their deeds.” (Quran, 16:97). Every human being wants to have a good life in this world, right? For most people, this good life is being financially well off and having a big house, etc. But the reality is that even if one has this, one can still feel miserable and depressed. So, what is the real good life?  The real good life is being near ALLAH and experiencing HIS Nearness and being guided by HIM to do what HE loves and is pleased with. And being given enough rizq with barakah and being given a heart that yearn for ALLAH’s reward and strives to gain it.  All of this and much more is part of the real good l...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn 12th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Monday 3rd April 2023). YES ALLAH WILL FORGIVE ALL MAJOR SINS EVEN IF SHIRK. BismilLah. The Almighty ALLAH loves to forgive, and in numerous places in the Quran, HE invite us towards HIS FORGIVENESS.  ALLAH, the Most High, says: “ Will they not turn to ALLAH in repentance and seek HIS forgiveness? And ALLAH is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Quran, 5:74). To understand the context of this verse, one should read two verses before it where ALLAH says: “Those who say, “ALLAH is the Messiah, son of Mary,” have certainly fallen into disbelief. The Messiah ˹himself˺ said, “O Children of Israel! Worship ALLAH, my Lord and your Lord.” Whoever associates others with ALLAH in worship will surely be forbidden Paradise by ALLAH. Their home will be the fire. And the wrongdoers will have no helpers. Those who say, “ALLAH is one in a Trinity,” have certainly fallen into disbelief. There is only ONE GOD. If they do no...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 11th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Sunday 2nd April 2023). ANGER MANAGEMENT WHILST FASTING. BismilLah.  Once, a young man approached the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallah) and asked him for some advice. The Prophet replied, “Do not become angry,” and he repeated this three times. On another occasion, the Prophet asked his companions, “Do you know who the strong person is?” His companions replied, “The one who is able to wrestle others down.” The Prophet responded, “No, it is the one who is able to control their anger. There are so many wisdoms from the Prophet specifically advising against anger, all reflecting the Qur’anic description of the righteous as those who “hold in check their anger” (3:134).  This advice is much needed. Indeed, some of the worst actions committed by human beings, from killing to domestic abuse, especially in marriages, are, at least partly, a result of anger. Lots of marriages have collapsed/ collapsed bec...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 10th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Saturday 1st April 2023). ALLAH'S ASSURANCES ARE CERTAIN. BismilLah.  ALLAH, Praised be HIS Name, says: “ So ALLAH answered his prayer and rescued him from anguish. And so do ALLAH save the believers.” (Quran, 21:88).
