THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 19th day of Ramadhan, 1444AH (Monday 10th April 2023).

LAST 10 DAYS OF GOLDEN REWARDS START TONIGHT. BismilLah.

The last ten days of Ramadhan are very precious indeed: ALLAH'S Messenger used to exert himself in devotion during the last ten nights to a greater extent than at any other time." (Muslim). Please don't ask me about the odd days in these last days in trying to use our wisdom to acquire laylatul Qadar. You may miss it if you do so, just strive to get some time in acts of worship throughout the night of the last days as no one can be certain which days or nights are the odd days this month.

Our mother Aishah (may ALLAH be pleased with her) reported that during the last ten days of Ramadhan; the Messenger of ALLAH would wake his wives up during the night and then remain apart from them (that is, being busy in acts of worship, seeking  Laylatul Qadr. (Bukhari).

Here are some ways that we can all make the best of these precious last ten days of Ramadhan. One should make a plan in mind for oneself so that one can make the best of these last 10 precious days.

It should include the times that one will read the Qur’an, how many nafl/sunnah prayers, and at what times. Times to sleep and times to be awake, especially at night, to make sure we don't miss laylatul Qadar.

Spend the last 10 days in I’thikaaf if you can. I`tikaf is the seclusion and staying in the Masjid with the intention of becoming closer to ALLAH by doing constant remembrance, glorification and worship of ALLAH Ta’aala. One should perform as many Nafil prayers as possible and recite much of the Qur’an and its meanings, read books on Islam and keep ones lips moist with the constant glorification and remembrance of ALLAH ta’aalaa. Strive to forgive and seek forgiveness from whoever you've wronged or wronging. Do not abuse or cheat on anyone or even yourself and stay focused on your acts of worship, nothing else. I hope you know the magic dua to be reciting seeking Laylatul Qadar? If not, then ask me.

We ask ALLAH to aid us in our effort to gain HIS pleasure as we enter into these golden days and nights of the year. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 9th day of Muharram (Friday 28th August 2020). ACTS THAT CAN EARN US PARADISE. BismilLah.  As Muslims we must always learn and implement actions that can earn us the Pleasure of ALLAH our CREATOR in return for HIS Paradise awaiting HIS sincere servants.  Some of the things that can get us closer to ALLAH are , fasting regularly, Obedience to ALLAH, HIS Messenger, Our Parents etc. following funeral procession of a Muslim, feeding poor people, visiting sick people regularly etc.  Abu Huraira (Radhiallahu 'anhu) reported, that ALLAH'S Messenger (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said: “Who is fasting today?” Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) (again) said: Who has followed a funeral procession today? Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam - the Holy Prophet) again said: Who amongst you has served food to the needy today Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat and Yaumul Aashuura. 10th day of Muharram, 1445AH (Friday, 28th July, 2023). SPECIAL EID DAY FOR US ALL. BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah to you all. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Today mark the day when ALLAH granted Musah alayhi salaam victory over Fir'awn. Today mark the day ALLAH humiliated HIS worse enemy on earth Fir'awn for his disbelief in ALLAH and claiming he was ALLAH. We are all fasting on this blessed day seeking forgiveness from ALLAH for our sins from last year till date as the Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam recommended.  Those who are unable to fast can still do much to earn lots of rewards especially our sisters and daughters in their monthly cycle. You can recite lots of azkaar and give sadaqah with your intention to seek forgiveness from ALLAH. Please remember today is Friday lets strive to go to Masjid early and also remember to send salutations to our...
