THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Arba'a. 27th day of Sha’abaan. (Wednesday, 30th of March, 2022). AS RAMADHAN APPROACHES, CAN I COOK FOR A HUSBAND WHO CHOOSES NOT TO FAST WITHOUT ANY VALID REASON BUT STILL CLAIMS HE IS A MUSLIM WITHOUT EVEN PRAYING. BismilLah.  A wife do not owe the duty of cooking or serving food or drink to her spouse who does not fast during the days of Ramadhan, if he does so without having any valid reason (of sickness, or old age) that would excuse him from fasting. Since we are not allowed to condone or help someone who is committing a sin, by serving him food and drinks, you are also guilty of a sin if you do so. It is common knowledge in Islam that skipping fasts without valid reason of sickness, travelling difficulties due to old age, is considered a cardinal sin. If a husband does not have a valid excuses not to fast. The husband is guilty of even a graver sin by not praying; even greater than all of these is his denial of his obligation to ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 26th day of Sha’abaan. (Tuesday, 29th of March, 2022). BE POSITIVE ALL THE TIME AND STOP THINKING NEGATIVE. BismilLaah. The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَسْكُتْ Whoever believes in ALLAH and the Last Day, let him speak goodness or remain silent. Sometimes Satan will throw evil suggestions into our minds. These suggestions have no power over us unless we choose to act on them. If we follow an evil or negative train of thought, then it will lead us to a terrible end. Thus, when we find ourselves caught up in a bad line of thinking, we need to immediately replace these negative thoughts with positive inward statements to cancel their effects by reciting zikir or seeking protection from ALLAH saying AuuzubilLah minash-sheitaanir rajeem. The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: وَأَتْبِ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 25th day of Sha’abaan. (Monday, 28th of March, 2022). DIFFICULTIES MAY BE BLESSINGS FOR US. BismilLah.  For those who are under Allah's test and going through any sort of difficulties or suffering, I say be patient and still say Alhamdulillah in all situations because as muslims all our sufferings expiate for our sins says the prophet. Alhamdulillah.  Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said: 'A calamity that makes you turn to Allah is better for you than a blessing which makes you forget the remembrance of Allah.' Thus in our times of trouble, when we go through pain and suffering and in our times of loss, we need to trust ALLAH. We need to keep in mind that as long as we fear HIM and try our best to obey HIM, HE will never do us wrong. HE will protect us and guide us and do the best for us, no matter what the situation apparently looks like. lets trust ALLAH sincerely, HE is enough for us. ALLAH says: 'And when someone puts all...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Ahad. 24th day of Sha’abaan. (Sunday, 27th of March, 2022). EXPIATION FOR NOT FULFILLING A VOW OR AN OAT TO ALLAH. BismilLah.  What is meant by an oath or vow according to our scholars based on the Qur'an and Sunnah is by committing oneself before ALLAH, may HE be exalted, to do OR not to do something. A vow is a type of oath, and every vow is an oath. So when the one who makes a vow says: I owe it to ALLAH to do such and such, it is the same as his saying: I swear by ALLAH that I will do or not do such and such. What is implied by these two phrases is the committing oneself before ALLAH to do or not to do that action".  If a person says, “I promise ALLAH that I will perform Hajj this year,” then this is a vow, a promise and an oath (yameen) and if he does not fulfil it then he must offer the expiation for breaking an oath (kafaarat yameen).  Whoever repeats an oath before offering expiation, the correct view is that if this...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Jumuat. 22nd day of Sha’abaan. (Friday, 25th of March, 2022). Should I say “Bi-idhnilLah (by ALLAH’s leave)” or “In shaa ALLAH (if ALLAH wills)”? Which of them is better to use if you intend to do something?. BismilLah.  One of our respected sheikhs has said that there is no much difference between you saying “In Shaa ALLAH” or “Bi-idhnilLah.”  What is meant by both phrases is very similar, so making something conditional upon ALLAH’s WILL is similar to making it conditional upon HIS LEAVE or PERMISSION. This is because both the general WILL of ALLAH and HIS universal leave and decree are both characteristics of divine Lordship that belong to the Creator, may HE be glorified and exalted. Whatever ALLAH WILLS, HE has permitted it to happen, and whatever HE has permitted to happen, HE has willed that it be created and brought into existence. Thus, the two meanings are synonymous even though ALLAH instructed we say In Shaa ALLAH whe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Jumuat. 22nd day of Sha’abaan. (Friday, 25th of March, 2022). THE RIGHT WAY TO RESPOND TO THOSE WHO OFFEND US. BismilLah.  If you are having trouble with your family, In laws? Spouse? Relatives?..... The best way to maintain a healthy relationship is to always forgive and forget. No one is perfect. All perfections ONLY belongs to ALLAAH. Whether people speak evil of us, in our presence or behind our back, or they do evil to us in either of those ways, all is known to ALLAH Almighty. It is not for us to punish. Our best course is not to do evil in our turn, but to do what will best repel the evil. Two evils do not make a good. ALLAH Almighty in the Noble Qur'an commands us in several places to return the evil that is done to us by others to not only with good, but with best! ALLAH says in the Quran; "The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e. ALLAH orders the faithful believers to b...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Al-Khamis. 21st day of Sha’abaan. (Thursday, 24th of March, 2022). ARE YOU READY FOR RAMADHAN?. BismilLah.  Many are aware of the real nature of fasting in the month of Ramadhan, so we start to prepare from Sha’baan, and some even started before that. Among the best ways of preparing for the month of Ramadhan is Sincere repentance; This is obligatory at all times, but because of the approach of a great and blessed month, it is even more important to hasten to repent from sins between you and your Lord, and between you and other people by giving them their rights, so that when the blessed month begins you may busy yourself with acts of worship with a clean heart and peace of mind. ALLAAH says:  “And all of you beg ALLAH to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful”[al-Noor 24:31]. Let's stop our haraam relationships, cheating, all bad habits etc before Ramadhan and strive to maintain a good life after Ramadhan.  ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Arba'a. 20th day of Sha’abaan. (Wednesday, 23rd of March, 2022). ARE YOU READY FOR RAMADHAN?. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah for granting us another day towards Ramadhan. I'm very hopeful everyone reading this reminder have already activated the Ramadan mood preparing for this greatest visitor of the year. Whenever you are asked this question ARE YOU READY FOR RAMADAN?, please say IN SHAA ALLAH Or BE-IZNILLAH (By ALLAH will of ALLAH) not YES bcs you might not be part of Ramadhan. ALLAH dislike it when we say YES as if we have assurance from HIM to be able to do what we intend doing without HIS permission. Always say in shaa ALLAH and pray for good health and prosperity to be able to be part bcs hundreds or even thousands died yesterday, some will go today, some tomorrow etc and it could be me or you so let's seek ALLAH'S mercy to be part of Ramadhan.  The month of Ramadan is a great month. It is the month in which ALLAH revealed the Qur...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 19th day of Sha’abaan. (Tuesday, 22nd of March, 2022). ADHAN IS A BEAUTIFUL ISLAMIC RITUAL. BismilLah.  Adhan reminds us, five times a day, of the essence of Islam. There are many virtues connected to adhan and many rewards a Muslim can earn. One of these rewards is responding to the adhan by saying a dhikr. This is maybe something many Muslims don't know.  There is a dhikr to be said when the Muadhin says: “ Ash-hadu an La ilaha illa ALLAH”. One shall respond and say: “Ash-hadu an la ilaha illa Allah la sharika lahu, wa anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasuluhu. Raditu billahi rabban wa bimuhammadin rasullan wa bil islami deenan”. The Messenger of ALLAH (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: "If anyone says on hearing the Mu'adhdhin: I testify that there is no god but ALLAH alone. Who has no partner, and that Muhammad is HIS servant and HIS Messenger, (and that) I am satisfied with ALLAH as my Lord, with Muhammad as Messenger...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum al-ithnayn. 18th day of Sha’abaan. (Monday, 21st of March, 2022). AN EVIL DISEASE OF THE HEART TO BE CAREFUL ABOUT. BismilLah.  As human beings, we have this dangerous disease of acting to please others instead of ALLAH. Imagine someone offering Salaat, as soon as he/she noticed someone watching, he or she tries to perfect it than how he used to do it, that's minor shirk if not major bcs it means you are trying to please the person looking at you than ALLAH looking at you live all the time.  This is the disease of ar-riyaa (show-off). It’s very difficult. Nobody can say, “I’m safe from ar-riyaa. The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam warned us about ar-riyaa, but what is the meaning of ar-riyaa? Ar-Riyaa is so dangerous that the Prophet was so concerned about it. He said, “Indeed the thing I fear for you the most is the minor shirk (associating partners with ALLAH).” We have minor shirk and major shirk. Major shirk is something lik...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Ahad. 17th day of Sha’abaan. (Sunday, 20th of March, 2022). CHARITY TOWARDS OUR FAMILY IN RAMADHAN. BismilLah.  As Ramadhan approaches let's strive to support our relatives who are less privileged. It's the best act of charity to support our relatives all the time and more rewarding during Ramadhan. Please note that Wealth leads to destruction if not put in check.  The majority of the problems challenging the world are because of fitnah(trials) of money. If we go back to the times of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and his noble companions, we see that their approach towards wealth was in stark contrast to what is the approach of We Muslims (and others) nowadays. The reason is simple; they understood Islam and followed it precisely, whereas we do not follow Islam sincerely. It is a matter of grave concern. Even in Ramadhan, some are finding ways to avoid fasting, some suspending their haraam relationship...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Jumuat. 15th day of Sha’abaan. (Friday, 18th of March, 2022). OUR EXTREME NEED FOR GUIDANCE FROM ALLAH. BISMILLAH.  As Muslims, its extremely important to seek guidance in all we do especially when it comes to religious duties else we will end up falling into the traps of Sheitan through religious innovations etc. Sheikh Ibn al Qayyim may ALLAH be pleased with him said in his book "*_THE PATH TO GUIDANCE_*" that, Guidance (hidaayah) is:  a) Elucidation or explanation (bayaan) and Indication (dalaalah) (to the path), then  b) Success (tawfeeq) and Inspiration (ilhaarn) in following the path), and this comes after the guidance of elucidation and indication. There is no way to elucidation and indication except by means of the Messengers. So when elucidation, indication and acquaintance (of the path) has been obtained, there will occur, as a result of this the guidance of success (in following the path), the placing of faith (eema...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Al-Khamis. 14th day of Sha’abaan. (Thursday, 17th of March, 2022). DON'T BLAME ANYONE FOR YOUR WIFE NOT CONCEIVING. Bismillah.  ALLAH says; The dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs to HIM. HE creates whatever HE pleases. HE grants females to whomever HE pleases and males to whomever HE pleases, or grants them a mix of males and females, and causes whomever HE pleases to be BARREN. HE is All-Knowing, All-Powerful. (Quran 42 vs 49-50). Allahu Akbar.  From the above verses, we know that nothing happens without ALLAH'S authority. So when ALLAH Subhaanahu wa Ta'ala , in HIS Infinite Wisdom, tests us with a situation that we think is difficult or takes away something that in our mind was good for us, we need to remember that perhaps it may not be so. Some brothers even divorce their wives for not conceiving: thus not a joke but ignorance. astaqfirullah.  Sheikh Al-Hasan al-Basri said: 'Do not resent the calamities that come...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Arba'a. 13th day of Sha’abaan. (Wednesday, 16th of March, 2022). NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLA...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 12th day of Sha’abaan. (Tuesday, 15th of March, 2022). A CHRISTIAN ASK ME WHY HE SHOULD JOIN ISLAM?. BismilLah. Logically, even on education, we human beings go through nursery, then primary, then secondary, then university to attain the highest in life right? Similarly in the creation of God, mankind went through Nursery from the time of Aadam through Noah etc, then went through primary through Abraham and Moses etc, went through secondary through Jesus Christ then in the final stage of University is by going through Prophet Muhammad may ALLAH be pleased with them all. It doesn't necessarily mean one is right and other is wrong but what it means is a University student will be wrong to be attending classes with secondary school students isnt it.  Religiously, ALLAH sent Messengers in different generations with different rules for each generation.  Islam is the complete way of life from God to mankind and God stated ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum al-ithnayn. 11th day of Sha’abaan. (Monday, 14th of March, 2022). IS PRAYING TAHIYYATUL MASJID AN OBLIGATION or A RECOMMENDATION?? BismilLah.  TAHIYYATUL MASJID means to greet the masjid by offering two Sunnah rakaats whenever we enter into any masjid or Mosque termly greeting the masjid.  Scholars disagree whether praying two rakaats of prayer when we enter the masjid is an obligation (wajib) or a recommendation (mustahab). The primary evidence under discussion is the following narration: Abu Qatadah reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلْيَرْكَعْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ When one of you enters the mosque, then let him pray two rakaats before he sits down. Sahih Bukhari 433, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. In another narration, the Prophet said: فَلَا يَجْلِسْ حَتَّى يَرْكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ Let him not sit down until he prays two rakaats. Sahih Muslim 714, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Ahad. 10th day of Sha’abaan. (Sunday, 13th of March, 2022). EXPIATION FOR TRANSGRESSION AGAINST RIGHTS OF OTHERS. Bismillah.  We all know that ALLAH forgive all sins if we sincerely regret and seek forgiveness. Today's reminders will focus on sins against others which we all know ALLAH does not forgive unless those we offended forgives us.  With regard to sins that have to do with the rights of other people, they can only be expiated by repenting from them. One of the conditions of repenting from them is restoring the rights of those who have been wronged.  Imam Muslim narrated from ‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘As (may ALLAH be pleased with him) that the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “The martyr will be forgiven for all his sins except debt.” Al-Nawawi.  The words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) “except debt” draw attention to all rights owed to other people...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum As-Sabt. 9th day of Sha’abaan. (Saturday, 12th of March, 2022). EEMAAN BOOSTER BismilLah. This story may not be true but with full lessons. A man was crying and when asked why he was crying: he said: I have 1 son, I  educated him, I wanted to make him a great person. I made him study, B.A, M.A, And sent him abroad to study further, but Suddenly he fell sick and doctors said he was dying, they can't do anything,  he was counting his last breath, My son then said - father bring my certificates, when I brought those certificates he said: these are my degrees but you didn't make me learn the "QURAN" and study my religion which made me not worship properly due to lack of knowing how to worship,   now, how will I show myself to ALLAH? Does it sound familiar? Let's think wisely.  Whom to love?  1) WORLD? It makes us cry,  2) FLOWER? They die soon.  3)MONEY? It beaks relationship. 4) HEIGHT of SUCCESS? It make...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Jumuat. 8th day of Sha’abaan. (Friday, 11th of March, 2022). SUMMARY OF HOW TO PERFORM GHUSL (PURE ISLAMIC BATH) IN PREPARATION FOR JUMUAT AND FOR PURIFICATION. BismilLah.  First, the Muslim should make their intentions for purification; just make up your mind that you are going to take your ghusl for jumuat that’s all. You can first take your normal bath to clean any dirt or first wash ur private parts then make wudu like the wudu done for prayer, pour water from your head to wash your right side, then the left side. Make sure your entire body is washed properly. It is also reported in the sunnah that washing of the feet during wudu should be delayed until the end of the ghusl before you wash your feet.  Also Remember to recite Suuratul Kahf, send more salutations to the Prophet(Allahummah Sally Alaa Muhammad to the end), use perfume whiles going to masjid(only men), clean your teeth with miswak(tooth stick), walk to masjid if pos...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Al-Khamis. 7th day of Sha’abaan. (Thursday, 10th of March, 2022). RAMADHAN APPROACHING. ARE YOU PREPARING?  BismilLah.  Ramadhan is an incredible opportunity that we shouldn’t lose out on. It is a month full of enormous spiritual wealth and reward. However, many of us often suffer from a lack of productivity during Ramadhan and not making the most of the special blessed month.  With Ramadhan starting soon in shaa ALLAH, let's strive to welcome it with piety and sincerity hoping to gain more rewards and forgiveness from it.  If you still owe any days on last year's Ramadhan please fast for it before this one arrive but if for some reason you can't fast, try to fast as much as you can this year and start paying for missed days after this Ramadhan. For those who can't fast at all due to old age and permanent illness, please feed the poor each day with full meal or give the equivalent amount that can feed the poor all day to ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Arba'a. 6th day of Sha’abaan. (Wednesday, 9th of March, 2022). LET'S BE POSITIVE IN ALL WE DO. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah for guiding us into Islamic ways of life which is the ONLY way to Paradise says ALLAH.  As Muslims, Our thoughts have a powerful ability to determine our feelings and emotional states and ultimately affect how we behave, for better or worse. Islam teaches us to direct the act of reflection (tafakkur), or deep thought, towards the signs of ALLAH, the names and attributes of ALLAH, to HIS blessings and wonders, to hope in the Hereafter. By positively controlling our thought processes, we can increase the effectiveness of our prayers and worship as well as relieve ourselves from the anger, depression, and anxieties that worldly thoughts induce. Contrary to popular belief, we have control over which thoughts we choose to follow. We may not have a choice over which particular thought occurs initially in our minds at a...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 5th day of Sha’abaan. (Tuesday, 8th of March, 2022). FASTING TO COVER PREVIOUS MISSED RAMADAN FASTING. BismilLahir.  The imams are agreed that whoever did not fast some days of Ramadaan has to make up those days before the next Ramadaan whenever possible including mothers who were sick during pregnancy and breastfeeding.  They quoted as evidence for that the hadeeth narrated by al-Bukhaari (1950) and Muslim (1146) from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) who said: “I used to have fasts that I still owed from Ramadaan, and I could not make them up until Sha’abaan, and that was because of the position of the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) [as a husband].”  ALLAH says “And whoever is ill or on a journey, the same number [of days which one did not observe Sawm (fasts) must be made up] from other days”[al-Baqarah 2:185]  Please note that Pregnancy or Breastfeeding is not an ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum al-ithnayn. 4th day of Sha’abaan. (Monday, 7th of March, 2022). GOOD LEADERSHIP CAN ONLY BE ACHIEVED THROUGH PATIENCE AND CERTAINTY IN OUR TRUST IN ALLAH. BismilLaah. ALLAH who is free from all imperfections has informed us that good leadership is obtained through patience (sabr) and certainty (yaqeen). The Exalted said:  And I have made from among them (His Creation), leaders, giving guidance  under My Command, when they were patient and believed with certainty in My Signs. [Soorah As-Sajdah (32):24]. Therefore, it is by patience and certainty that leadership in the religion is obtained. This means that whatever position you are offered, you must be patient and have strong faith in ALLAH to guide you through regardless of what position it is even parents on their children, supervisors and managers at work, imams in our masjids, husbands on wives etc. Firm faith in ALLAH through patience in whatever happens is the source of a succe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Ahad. 3rd day of Sha’abaan. (Sunday, 6th of March, 2022). RAMADHAN PREPARATIONS IN SHA'ABAAN. BismilLah.  The Arrival of the Sha’baan moon brings with it numerous blessings. Just as a farmer prepares for a fruitful harvest by harrowing his acreage so that the soil may readily retain water; in contrast, our souls are geared by the presence of such blessings in Sha’abaan effectively preparing us for a fruitful and completely advantageous Ramadan.  The month of Sha’abaan is one of the meritorious months in the Islamic calendar and it is reported in an authentic hadith that the Holy Prophet (sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam) used to fast most days in this month. Although these fasts are not obligatory, those of us who fast Mondays, Thursday and the 3 white days each month should continue in preparation for Ramadan.  May ALLAH (Azza wa Jal, The Mighty and The Majestic) aid our efforts to be able to benefit more in these coming months....
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum As-Sabt. 2nd day of Sha’baan. (Saturday, 5th of March, 2022). THE ACCEPTANCE of GOOD DEEDS in ISLAM. BismilLah.  Before a Muslim moves another step forward or performs any act or deed, he/she is obliged to acquire knowledge in the path that will lead him/her to the best end, that is, having his good deeds accepted by ALLAH (Al-Wadud, The Loving, The Kind One). It is important to note that what counts is not the number of good deeds or acts of worship performed, for there may be a person who performs many good deeds, yet, all what he gains is tiredness in this life and hardships in the hereafter. Don't finish the act before asking if it's haraam or halaal.  The Messenger of ALLAH (Al-Ba’ith, The Raiser of The Dead) said, “There may be a Sa’im (fasting person) who only gains hunger from his Siyam (fast), and there may be a Qa’im (who stands up in prayer at night) who only gains Sahar (staying up late) from his Qiyam!” [Ibn Maajah]. R...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Jumuat. 1st day of Sha’baan. (Friday, 4th of March, 2022). THE ROPE OF ALLAH. BismilLah.  Let's continue from yesterday's reminder; ALLAH says that the cause of disputing would be the loss of courage and the strength would be gone and it will depart us, and the Prophet told us salla Allahu alahi wa sallam that his Ummah would be divided into sects and all such divisions leads to hell except those who follow his footsteps and the footsteps of his companions. If you look around us, you will find that there are a lot of small nations and countries (muslims), but they are not united and if you looked at the Muslims in non muslims countries you will find we are in groups and sects (we don’t have one to represent us and that is why people look down at us). That is why non-muslims invented what is known as ‘divide and conquer or ‘divide and rule’, and this is what they had done with us. We are in every valley, spreading, not allowing ourselv...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Al-Khamis. 30th day of Rajab. (Thursday, 3rd of March, 2022). THE ROPE OF ALLAH. BismilLah.  ALLAH the Almighty says in the Quran: ”And verily this is MY straight path, so follow it and follow not other paths for they would separate you away from MY  path” Qur’an 6:153 going. In the Tafseer of Sheikh Ibn Kathir may ALLAH be pleased with him, we learned what Ibn Abbas may ALLAH be pleased with him commented on this verse alongside Quran 42:13 which require us to establish a one way of life Based on the Quran and Sunnah without adhering to any division and said we are commanded to adhere to the Jamaa'ah and forbade us from causing divisions and disputes.  When the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam  finally migrated from Macca to Madinah, he found that the Ansar, who came to support him, were divided into al Aws and al Hazraj, and they had a hundred years old feud among them. The minute that he set foot in Madinah,...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Arba'a. 29th day of Rajab. (Wednesday, 2nd of March, 2022). CONSUMING HARAAM WEALTH OR INCOME. BismilLah.  The person who does not fear ALLAH does not care where he or she earns their money or how he spends it; his only concern is to increase his bank balance, OR just earn money, even if it is haraam and ill-gotten using theft, bribery, extortion, forgery, selling haraam things, riba (usury), consuming an orphan’s wealth, earnings from haraam work like fortune-telling, immorality or singing, stealing from the Muslim treasury or public property, taking people’s money by coercion or high-pressure sales tactics, begging when one is not in need, etc. Then he buys food, clothing and transportation with this ill-gotten money, builds or rents a house, furnishes it, and fills his stomach with haraam food.  The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “Any flesh that grows from ill-gotten gains is more deserving of being tou...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Rajab. (Tuesday, 29th February 2022). THE REALITY IN LIFE. BismilLah.  Someone sent me this Khutbah and I felt it's important I share it with my brothers and sisters with little editing. Let's read through twice and rethink our priorities in life.  When did you watch a football match? next time you watch again take a look at the players, the referees, the linesmen, and the spectators. Out of all these categories of people, the only people who don't wear a wristwatch are the players on the field. They get into the pitch and play their hearts out knowing that even though they don't know the exact time, the exact minute the game will end and the whistle will be blown,  they are conscious of the fact that the game will definitely end when the one holding the timer blows his whistle. I liken this to our race here on earth. We are on the pitch of play called life. And even though we all wear wristwatches, they a...
