THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Al-Khamis. 7th day of Sha’abaan. (Thursday, 10th of March, 2022). RAMADHAN APPROACHING. ARE YOU PREPARING?  BismilLah.

Ramadhan is an incredible opportunity that we shouldn’t lose out on. It is a month full of enormous spiritual wealth and reward. However, many of us often suffer from a lack of productivity during Ramadhan and not making the most of the special blessed month.  With Ramadhan starting soon in shaa ALLAH, let's strive to welcome it with piety and sincerity hoping to gain more rewards and forgiveness from it.

If you still owe any days on last year's Ramadhan please fast for it before this one arrive but if for some reason you can't fast, try to fast as much as you can this year and start paying for missed days after this Ramadhan. For those who can't fast at all due to old age and permanent illness, please feed the poor each day with full meal or give the equivalent amount that can feed the poor all day to cover each day of fasting.

The key to a productive Ramadhan is to prepare for it well in advance. ALLAH subhanahu wa ta`alaa (exalted is HE) encouraged us to fast and do extra good deeds during the months of Rajab and Sha`baan as a means of preparing ourselves for Ramadhan. Rajab and Sha`baan can be considered the months of sowing, while Ramadhan is the month of reaping. I hope many are fasting on Mondays and Thursdays, I mean today. Please don't miss fast on the 3 white days of Sha’abaan next week. By doing this, you will ease your way into Ramadhan and be able to perform those extra `ibadaat (acts of worship) during Ramadhan in shaa ALLAH.

We ask ALLAH to aid us in our efforts to please HIM. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
