THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 10th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Wednesday 1st July, 2020). SOME VERSES ABOUT THE QUR'AN IN THE QURAN. BismilLaah. Let's find out what ALLAH says about the Quran within the Qur'an just to boost our eemaan that we are indeed in the straight path to Paradise when we follow the teachings of the Qur’an through the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam. ALLAH says to the nearest meaning; "This [Quran] is enlightenment for mankind and guidance and mercy for a people who are certain [in faith]. Surat Al-Jathiyah 45:20. And indeed, [O Muhammad] sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam, you receive the Qur’an from one Wise and Knowing. Surat An Naml 27:6. [That] indeed, the Qur’an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger (Angel Gabriel, Jibril). Surat At-Takwir 81:19. The revelation of the Book is from ALLAH, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. Surat Al-Jathiyah 45:2. AlhamdulilLah. May ALLAH grant us the knowledge and wisdom withi...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalatha, 9th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Tuesday 30th June, 2020). WHEN ALLAH DECIDE WHO ELSE CAN DECIDE OTHERWISE. BismilLah. ALLAH says in the Holy Quran to the nearest meaning; To ALLAH belongs the dominion of the hevens and the earth; HE creates what HE wills. HE gives to whom HE wills female [children], and HE gives to whom HE wills males. Or gives in mix of males and females, and HE renders whom HE wills barren. Indeed, HE is Knowing and Competent. Ash-Shura 42:49/50. So people are divided into four categories when it comes to blessings with children: some are given daughters, some are given sons, some are given both sons and daughters, and some are not given either sons or daughters, but they are rendered barren, with no offspring. Only ALLAH knows who deserves to be in which of these categories. Why using evil means to conceive? Similarly to HIS CREATION HE created four categories of human beings. Some without father and mother such a...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. MYaum Al-Ithnayn, 8th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Monday 29th June, 2020). GOLDEN ADVISE FROM A WISE MOTHER. BismilLah. Yesterday, someone shared a video to me which contained a life changing advise which I decided to summerise and share with you as my reminder today be-iznilLah. Basically this married sister was going through bad times in her marriage with continues quarreling and fighting with the husband and became fed up and decided enough is enough and even decided to kill the husband before leaving the marriage as such went to her mother for advice on how to kill her husband. The mother agreed to help her daughter kill the husband but on certain conditions if she is willing to comply. Her daughter was eager to implement whatever the mother has to help her kill her husband. The mother started by saying, in order to avoid any allegations against you that you killed your husband its important you start with immediate effect to respect, obey and do whatev...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 7th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Sunday 28th June, 2020). HUGE DOWRIES/MAHAR, AN OBSTACLE TO MARRIAGE CONTINUES. Bismillah. Let's continue from the reminder yesterday; please note that our parents errors in delaying our marriages are not a chance to commit crimes against our souls. The command to maintain chastity, for those who cannot afford to get married is to be found in the verse in which ALLAH , may HE be exalted, says: “But let them who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until ALLAH enriches them from HIS bounty”[an-Noor 24:33]. Sheikh At-Tabari (may ALLAH have mercy on him) said: ALLAH , may HE be exalted, says: “But let them who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations]” which means let those who cannot afford to marry refrain from doing that which ALLAH has forbidden to them of immoral deeds, until ALLAH enriches them from His vast bounty and expands His provision to them....
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 6th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Saturday 27th June, 2020). HUGE DOWRIES/MAHAR, AN OBSTACLE TO MARRIAGE. Bismillah Unfortunately, the huge demand of money and so called Leefe or clothing for women from young men by some parents has become the main obstacles to get married these days which is against the recommendations of the Prophet Muhammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Some parents are failing to know that hasten to offer their daughters out for marriage causes lots of fitnah or trials to the family with possibilities of our young and growing sisters falling into Zina or fornication which is now widespread in our communities today. To all parents, please note that our children are a trust from ALLAH and we are accountable for their smooth upbringing till they attain adulthood. If we manage them well till they get married off our hands Alhamdulillah but if we put obstacles on their ways with huge demands of things from brothers before they c...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 5th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Friday 26th June, 2020). THE REALITIES OF DREAMS BismilLah. Sheikh Muhammed Saalih Al-Munaajjid mentioned in one of his articles that; Towards the end of time, hardly any dreams will be untrue, The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him, his family and companions) said so. “That will be because the Prophethood and its effects will be so far away in time, so the believers will be given some compensation in the form of dreams which will bring them some good news or will help them to be patient and steadfast in their faith.” (al-Bukhaari, 6499; Muslim, 4200). Dreams are of three types: Rahmaani (Inspiration from ALLAH), nafsaani (psychological, they come from within a person) and shaytaani (those that come from the Shaytaan). The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “Dreams are of three types: a dream from ALLAH, a dream which causes distress and which comes from the Shaytaan, a...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 4th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Thursday 25th June, 2020). DO NOT BELITTLE YOURSELF. BismilLaah. As Muslims, we are required to encourage goodness and forbid badness. If anyone around you regardless of his or her status disobey ALLAH and HIS Messenger in anyway, it's our duty to speak to such person with wisdom and based on the knowledge of Islam, by reminding them on what ALLAH and HIS Messenger has said against such act. Don't be quite bcs you will lose your pocket money for the day :). Our sustenance comes from ALLAH and ALLAH is Sufficient for us, speak out the truth and ALLAH will do the rest for you. If you know speaking or saying the truth can cause you harm or you have no knowledge of how to present your advise then hate the disobedience in your heart not the person and make dua for ALLAH to guide them and forgive them and if possible, find a respectful elder to talk to such person. Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri  reported: The Messe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 3rd day of Dhul Qa'adah (Wednesday 24th June, 2020). LET'S REVIVE A SUNNAH OF THE PROPHET sallallaahu Alaihi wasallam. BismilLaah. Ibn Jaz was one of the companions of the Prophet who is reported to have said: “I have not seen anyone who smiled more often than the Messenger of ALLAH.”[Tirmidhi]. Smiling has been proving by scientists to increase the natural antidepressant hormone, serotonin, causing the one who wears a smile to be happier. We underestimate the power of a smile on both ourselves and those around us. This characteristic is highly contagious and plays a massive role in building relationships with those around us. A positive mind and attitude is irreplaceable in the quest to be productive and achieve your goals in life. Smiling is Sunnah, simple, inexpensive act that helps lift your mood and make you feel more grateful and content since our Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was seen frequently smiling and he eve...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 2nd day of Dhul Qa'adah (Tuesday 23rd June, 2020). LET'S STRIVE TO SOFTEN OUR HEARTS. BismilLah. It is a curse to have a hardened heart and it is a blessings to have a soft heart. Those with hardened hearts suffer in this life, even though they may have all of the trappings of this life. What seems to be an enjoyable life is empty, it is filled with loneliness. They cannot find peace of mind and of heart because their hearts are hardened to ALLAH. That is why ALLAH says, "Whoever turns away from my remembrance will have a wretched life." [Al-Qur'an 20:124]. and, "Whosoever turns away from My Message, verily for him is a life narrowed down, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Judgement." What is most beneficial in this life is a soft heart. We should strive to achieve it because everything else would be meaningless and useless if we do not have softened hearts. How do we achieve this? It i...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 1st day of Dhul Qa'adah (Monday 22nd June, 2020). RELIGIOUS ARGUMENTS CREATES HATRED AND DIVISION. Bismillah. Alhamdulillah for HIS guidance in making us Muslims but lets note that it comes with responsibilities and Sacrifices of our desires. Lets try to do daawah to non Muslims and Naseehah to fellow Muslims regularly but we must avoid disputes because The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The believer does not dispute and I will not intercede on the Day of Resurrection for those who dispute, so leave arguing for its lack of good.” [Authenticated by imam Tabaraani]. ALLAH, the Most High, says in this regard, “None dispute in the Aayaat (signs, proofs) of ALLAH except those who disbelieve.” [Surah Ghaafir, Ayat 4]. A man came to al-Hasan al-Basri and said, “I wish to debate with you about the Religion.” Al-Hasan replied, “I know my Religion. If you have lost your Religion go out and look for it!” Lets adopt the approac...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 29th day of Shawwal (Sunday 21st June, 2020). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah. Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed  sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insult to others etc is forbidden bec...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 28th day of Shawwal (Saturday 20th June, 2020). CHOOSING A ROLE MODEL AND HELING CHILDREN TO CHOOSE THEIR ROLE MODELS. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Role models help people to model their behavior and character after those personalities. We must choose good role models and Parents should help their children choose their role models wisely. When teaching about Islam and its teachings, parents should help their children learn about the lives of the prophets, especially Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), swahaaba (prophet’s companions such as Abu Bakar, Umar, Uthman, Ali and so on), taabieen (the ones who followed the swahaaba), other salaf (the likes of Hassan al-Basri, Muhammad ibn Sirin, Umar Ibn Abdul-Aziz, Ahmad bin Hanbal, etc.), and early Islamic scholars such as Ibne-Taymiyyah, Ibn Al-Qayyim, Ibn Katheer, and so on. Learning about these personalities of Islam who actualized the teachings of Islam can help children learn f...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 27th day of Shawwal (Friday 19th June, 2020). ALLAH IS INDEED SUFFICIENT FOR THOSE WHO TRULY TRUST AND RELY ON HIM. BismilLah. Alhamdulillah for granting us another blessed day of the week. Let's make very good use of this day to maximize our rewards. This day is not like any other day so let's strive to do all the recommended sunnahs of the day that's to Recite, learn and listen to Suuratul Kahf(Quran chapter 18), send lots of salutations to our beloved Messenger of Allah, take ghusul(purification bath), wear your eid clothing, clean your teeth and go to masjid early before Imam arrives please. Please don't wait for khutbah to end or towards ending before you enter the masjid as some of our masjids are open for Jumuat today AlhamdulilLah. Please be quite whilst in the masjid especially whilst khutbah is on going even if you don't understand. When you enter the masjid, just offer two rakaats sunnah for greeting the m...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 26th day of Shawwal (Thursday 18th June, 2020). DO NOT ENVY SOMEONE'S SUCCESS. BismilLaah. If we envy someone and try to disgrace them, ALLAH will humiliate us. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever defends the honor of his brother (fellow muslim), then ALLAH will protect his face from the Hellfire on the Day of Resurrection.”Sunan At-Tirmidhi 1931. The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do not rejoice over your brother’s misfortune, lest ALLAH have mercy upon him and subject you to trials. ‘Sunan At-Tirmidhi 2506. The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, say, “Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and women, then ALLAH will record a good deed for him for each believing man and woman.”Musnad Ash-Shamiyeen At-Tabarani 2118. We ask ALLAH to forgive our evil deeds, protect us from satanic influences. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ArbaĆ , 25th day of Shawwal (Wednesday 17th June, 2020). USING OUR INCOME OR WEALTH WISELY. BismilLaah. Imaam Abu Huraira (may ALLAH be pleased with him) reported ALLAH'S Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: A servant says, My wealth. my wealth, but out of his wealth three things are only his: whatever he eats and makes use of or by means of which he dresses himself and it wears out or he gives as charity, and this is what he stored for himself (as a reward for the Hereafter), and what is beyond this (it is of no use to you) because you are to depart and leave it for other people. (Sahih Muslim, Book 55, Hadith 6). Let's invest our little savings into the ways of ALLAH such as supporting orphans, support In building Mosques and Islamic Schools, Wells for Communities in need of drinking water, supporting our relatives and those in need etc. These things are our true savings which can benefit us when we die. We don't know when death...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 24th day of Shawwal (Tuesday 16th June, 2020). BETTING OF ANY KIND IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN IN ISLAM. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. ALLAH (ArRazzaaq, The Provider of Wealth) Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5, Suurah Maaidah verses 90-91 to the nearest Meaning "O you who believe! Intoxicants, gambling(betting), (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows are an abomination of the Shaytaan's handiwork: avoid such abomination that you may prosper. ALLAH says. Betting on something whereby one wins/loses based merely on chance is a clear manifestation of the abomination of maysir or gambling which is categorically forbidden to the believers who sincerely fear ALLAH and the Last Day. One may play or engage in a sport like football, or tennis, or cricket, or swimming, etc provided its indulgence does not effect the fulfillment of ones obligatory duties in Islam such as our salaat, dressing Islamically etc. But if one place...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 23rd day of Shawwal (Monday 15th June, 2020). THE VIRTUE OF RECONCILIATION. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. As Muslims we must strive to forgive each other and reconcile between ourselves if we want ALLAH to forgive us and grant us successful life on earth and afterwards. Imam Abu Huraira may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The gates of Paradise are opened on Mondays and Thursdays. ALLAH forgives every servant who does not associate anything with him except a man with hatred between himself and his brother. It will be said: Delay these two until they reconcile, delay these two until they reconcile. Sahih Muslim 2565. SubhaaAllah today we are not only hating each other, we are killing each other astaqfirulLah. Reconciling people is a branch of faith and an Islamic moral code through which grudges are eliminated, hearts are purified, and flames of fitnah are extinguished...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 22nd day of Shawwal (Sunday 14th June, 2020). *_ISLAM IS THE ONLY RELIGION OF GOD ALMIGHTY, ALLAH_*. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. I usually remind ourselves that Islam is a way of life set by ALLAH and HIS  Messengers and the final Messenger to mankind without any doubt is Mohammed sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam so who ever claims to worship ALLAH or GOD in English must follow the ways of the final Messenger Muhammad sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam. ALLAH says in HIS final gospel to mankind that There is ONLY ONE religion of ALLAH in the heavens and the earth and that is the religion of Islam (Quran 3:19). And HE says again: I am pleased with Islam as a religion for you (Qur'an 5:3). ALLAH says again; “And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers” [Qur'an 3:85] ALLAH commanded the Prophet to say: “O mankind! Verily, I am SENT to YOU ALL as the Messenger...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 21st day of Shawwal (Saturday 13th June, 2020). RULINGS ON KISSING AND HUGGING YOUR OWN ADULT DAUGHTER/ SISTER ETC. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Scholars based on QUR'AN and Sunnah has ruled that, for a man to embrace and hug his daughter/ sister, or kiss her on the head or cheek or between the eyes by way of showing compassion, kindness and love is permissible and recommended, even if she is an adult, on condition that there be no fear of fitnah or provocation of desire. Excluded from that is kissing on the mouth or any sensitive area, which is only for spouses, and which usually provokes desire. Let's be careful as sheitan is an open enemy who can cause us to commit grave sin against ourselves as we see and hear happening on daily basis fathers inpregnating their own daughters, brothers inpregnating their own biological sisters etc. astaqfirulLah. ALLAH has warned us not to go near Zina in Quran 24 vs 21. HE didn't say don...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 20th day of Shawwal (Friday 12th June, 2020). THE POWER OF REPENTANCE. Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. The Messenger of ALLAH sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam said, The gate of repentance is open to all, until the sun rises from the west. The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “ALLAH spreads out HIS Hand at night to accept the repentance of those who did wrong during the day, and HE spreads out HIS Hand during the day to accept the repentance of those who did wrong during the night. (This will continue) until the sun rises from the west.” (Narrated by Muslim, no. 2759). Sincere repentance is not merely the matter of words spoken on the tongue. Rather, the acceptance of repentance is subject to the condition that the person gives up the sin straight away, that he or she regrets what has happened in the past, that he or she resolves not to go back to the thing he has repented from, that he restores people’s rights or property ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 19th day of Shawwal (Thursday 11th June, 2020). MARRYING WIDOWS AND DIVIRCEES. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. It's a sad reality that SOME Men are divorcing but they don't want to marry divorcees! During the time of the companions, widows and divorcees in Madinah would be bombarded with proposals after their iddah periods, its as if people were helping them to calculate it. The proposals would be much that they would be in a dilemma as to which one to choose, so they were not made to feel like they were burdens or liabilities to the society! Today, the fear of poverty and the weakness in our tawakkul or reliance in ALLAH makes us abandon our sisters to themselves! Some men would not even accept the proposal of widows/divorcees even at gun point AstaghfirulLah 😊. To the people who have firm reliance in ALLAH, recession is just a word! Let's put our trust in ALLAH and take some responsibilities in life and ALLAH will sure...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ArbaĆ , 18th day of Shawwal (Wednesday 10th June, 2020). APPRECIATE THE LITTLE YOU HAVE. Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Our Life as Muslims is a Gift from ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty and the Majestic). We can only polish it with obedience to ALLAH or corrupt it with disobedience. Today before you say an unkind word, Think of someone who can't speak then say Alhamdulillah. Before you complain about the taste of your food to your wife etc, Think of someone who has nothing to eat then say Alhamdulillah. Before you complain about your husband or wife, Think of someone who's crying out to ALLAH for a companion then say Alhamdulillah. Today before you complain about life, Think of someone who died younger than you, healthier than you, wealthier than you etc then say Alhamdulillah. Before you complain about your children, Think of someone who desires children but they're barren. And when you are tired and complain about your job, Think of ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 17th day of Shawwal (Tuesday 9th June, 2020). SEEKING PERMISSION TO ENTER SOMEONE'S HOME OR OFFICE. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. There are guidelines on seeking permission to enter someone's home which are fixed and do not change in ISLAM. They include the following: 1. Not looking inside the house before permission to enter is given. The Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) said: It is not permissible for a Muslim to look inside any house until he has been given permission.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari in al-Adab al-Mufrad (1093). 2. Saying Assalaamu Alaikum before seeking permission to enter. ALLAH says: “O you who believe! Enter not houses other than your own, until you have asked permission and greeted those in them; that is better for you, in order that you may remember”[an-Noor 24:27]. Alhamdulillah. 3.  Knocking on the door or ringing the bell, and so on, takes the place of asking permission verbally, a...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 16th day of Shawwal (Monday 8th June, 2020). DUA WHEN ENTERING AN EMPTY or VACANT HOME. BismilLaah Abdullah ibn Umar (may ALLAH be pleased with him) said: When someone enters a vacant home, he should say, “As-Salaamu ‘Alaynaa wa ‘Alaa ‘Ibaad-Allah-is-Saliheen” (“Peace be upon us and on the righteous salves of ALLAH.”). Collected by Bukhari in Adabul Mufrad 1055]. Sheikh Al-Albani (may ALLAH rest him in Jannah) said, “This narration establishes an Islamic regulation for entering a vacant house. This practice coincides with the order of spreading salaams found in some authentic hadeeth. Furthermore this agrees with the verse, “When you enter your houses greet one another with: As-Salaamu Alaikum…[ An-Nur 61]. Therefore based on this verse and narration from Ibn Umar (may ALLAH be pleased with him) Ibn Hajr held it was recommended to say, “Peace be upon us and on the righteous salves of ALLAH, when entering an empty house as well or even i...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 15th day of Shawwal (Sunday 7th June, 2020). DUA BETWEEN ADHAAN AND IQAAMAH. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. The Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “Dua is not rejected between the adhaan and iqaamah, so make dua (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 212; Abu Dawood, 437; Ahmad, 12174). You can learn to recite simple but powerful Dua like Rabbana aatinaa fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil aakhirati hasanatan waqinaa adhabannaar meaning Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the fire. This can be found in Qur'an chapter 2 verse 201. You can also recite this beautiful dua. Laailaaha illaa Anta Astaghfiruka wa atuubu ilaik. Yaa Hayyu yaa qayyuum biRahmatika astaqeeth meaning Oh ALLAH there is none worthy of worship except you ALLAH, you are the living and maintainer of life so with your Mercy I seek your help. Recite this regularly with intention for whatever you need fr...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 14th day of Shawwal (Saturday 6th June, 2020). The Power of Istiqhfaar (Seeking forgiveness from ALLAH). Don't miss this true story please which I shared last year anyway. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem.  This true story about “Istighfar” is from the life of Imam Ahmed Bin Hanbal, may ALLAH be pleased with him who is considered as a renowned scholar of Islam and a famous theologian. Imam Ahmed is also considered to be the founder of the Hanbali school of fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and is often referred to as the “Sheikh ul-Islam” or the “Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah(Strick follower of the Prophet teachings and actions).” During his old age, while he was travelling he stopped by a town. After the prayers, he wanted to stay for the night in the masjid yard because he didn’t know anyone in the town. Owing to his humility, he hadn’t introduced himself to anyone thinking that if he did, it may turn into something else as he was one of the famous sch...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 13th day of Shawwal (Friday 5th June, 2020). HATRED AND ANGER ARE A SATAN'S ATTRIBUTE DON'T EMULATE SHEITAN. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. As Muslims it's important we purify our hearts and intentions for ALLAH sake. We should be sad to see someone disobey ALLAH then instead of criticising the person, make dua for ALLAH to forgive and guide the person without washing his dirty cloth in public. Hatred towards another Muslim is a major crime. None is sinless so criticise yourself always not others. We can hate someone's wrongs and make dua for them but must not hate the person himself, bcs yours maybe worse but ALLAH is concealing from the public. Let's make dua regularly for ALLAH to purify our hearts. Some just sit waiting for others to make mistakes then jump into the public without making any effort to help the person secretly. We are all guilty of this satanic plot so let's do a reality check to ourselves before cri...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 12th day of Shawwal (Thursday 4th June, 2020). HOW DO YOU ENJOY OFFERING  YOUR SALAAT? Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. There is nothing important in life than our 5 daily Salaat which we must offer seeking ALLAH'S MERCY and protection on earth and Paradise. Performing our salaat regularly and on time is what certify us as Muslims and Salaat is the difference between us and non Muslims.  Let's face the reality, when we are sick, even delicious food doesn't taste good. Why? Because we are sick, there is something wrong with us. There is nothing wrong with the food isn't it? The pleasure of salaat is the same. We don't taste the sweetness of Salaat because we have diseased souls that are preventing us from experiencing the amazing pleasure of Salaah. One of the priorities of Sheitan is to help us feel lazy in our obedience to ALLAH and help us love sinning as we see everyday everywhere. Many freely walk with their haraam r...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ArbaĆ , 11th day of Shawwal (Wednesday 3rd June, 2020). PATIENCE and GRATITUDE. BismilLah. ALLAH says in Quran 57, Do not grieve for what you have missed of fortune, because had it been destined for you, you would have achieved it.' Also do not boast before people about what ALLAH has favored you with, because it is not you who earned it by your efforts. Rather, all this came your way because ALLAH destined them for you and provided them for you as provisions. Therefore, do not use what ALLAH has granted you as a reason to boast and become arrogant with others.' ALLAH'S statement, Sheikh Ikrimah may ALLAH be pleased with him commented by saying, "Everyone of us feels happiness and grief. However, make your joy with gratitude and endure your grief with patience.'' Allahu Akbar. AlhamdulilLah alaa kullihaal. May ALLAH aid us in our efforts to be patient all the time and be grateful to HIM for all HIS Favours on us. Aameen.
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 10th day of Shawwal (Tuesday 2nd June, 2020). YES OUR ACTIONS ARE JUDGED BY OUR INTENTIONS BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN?. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Imam Umar bin al-Khattab (may ALLAH be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of ALLAH (peace be upon him), say: "Actions are judged according to our intentions, ...." This is recorded in both Bukhari and Muslim. The connection between action and intention highlights the connection between the physical and the spiritual components of any human. This hadith emphasizes on the importance of having an intention for every physical act that we do, and the importance of having a purpose for every action. It also brings to the forefront our conscious intention and the need to make the connection between our physical actions and their spiritual consequences. Intentions lead to results. When a change in intention occurs, a change in the external conditions will follow. Intention is a...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 9th day of Shawwal (Monday 1st June, 2020). SPECIAL INVITATION FROM ALLAH IN THE LAST THIRD OF EACH NIGHT. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. In swaheeh Al-Bukhari, Allah’s Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) is reported to have said: “Every night when it is the last third of the night, our Lord, the Exalted, the Blessed, descends to the nearest heaven in a way only known to HIM and says, ‘Is there anyone to invoke ME that I may respond to his invocation? Is there anyone to ask ME so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone asking MY forgiveness so that I may forgive him?’. This hadith informs us of the excellence of the last third of the night, how ALLAH (subhaanahu wa ta’aalaa) is hoping for HIS servants to ask HIM for something at that time, so HE may grant it to them. Although Allah (Subhaanahu wa ta’aalaa) hears us, watches us, and is aware of our feelings at all times, but the time before dawn is extra special invitation for...
