DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 14th day of Shawwal (Saturday 6th June, 2020).
The Power of Istiqhfaar (Seeking forgiveness from ALLAH). Don't miss this true story please which I shared last year anyway. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

This true story about “Istighfar” is from the life of Imam Ahmed Bin Hanbal, may ALLAH be pleased with him who is considered as a renowned scholar of Islam and a famous theologian. Imam Ahmed is also considered to be the founder of the Hanbali school of fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and is often referred to as the “Sheikh ul-Islam” or the “Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah(Strick follower of the Prophet teachings and actions).”

During his old age, while he was travelling he stopped by a town. After the prayers, he wanted to stay for the night in the masjid yard because he didn’t know anyone in the town. Owing to his humility, he hadn’t introduced himself to anyone thinking that if he did, it may turn into something else as he was one of the famous scholars at that time to all Muslims worldwide.

Failing to recognize Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal, the caretaker of the mosque refused to let him stay in the mosque. As Imam Ahmed was quite old, the caretaker had to drag him out of the mosque. On seeing this, a baker from a nearby place felt pity for this man (Imam Ahmed) and offered to be the host to him for the night. During his stay with the baker, Imam Ahmed observed that the baker would constantly recite Istighfar (seeking  forgiveness from ALLAH). Imam Ahmed asked the baker if the constant practice of saying Istighfar had any effect on him. The baker responded by telling Imam Ahmed that ALLAH had answered all of his duas (supplications), except one. When he asked him what dua was it that hadn’t been answered, the baker replied that he had been asking ALLAH to provide him the privilege to meet the famous scholar Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal. Allahu Akbar.
On hearing this, Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal said that ALLAH had not only listened or answered to your  dua  but had dragged him (Ahmed bin Hambal) onto your doorsteps. Allahu Akbar. Imagine the joy to this brother at that moment. [Summarized from Al Jumuah magazine, vol 19, issue 7].
This true historic story is a reminder of the power of saying Istighfar (seeking forgiveness) frequently by saying ASTAQFIRULLAH as many times as we can wherever we maybe aside in toilet anyway. Or say "Laailaaha illaa Anta Astaqgfiruka Wa Atuubu Ilaik" meaning there is none worthy of worship except you ALLAH, I repent to you and seek your forgiveness. Repeat this as many times as you can with intention of whatever you are seeking from ALLAH and hopefully your wishes will come through at the right time in Shaa ALLAH. We ask ALLAH to forgive our past, present and future sins and answer our Dua. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 9th day of Muharram (Friday 28th August 2020). ACTS THAT CAN EARN US PARADISE. BismilLah.  As Muslims we must always learn and implement actions that can earn us the Pleasure of ALLAH our CREATOR in return for HIS Paradise awaiting HIS sincere servants.  Some of the things that can get us closer to ALLAH are , fasting regularly, Obedience to ALLAH, HIS Messenger, Our Parents etc. following funeral procession of a Muslim, feeding poor people, visiting sick people regularly etc.  Abu Huraira (Radhiallahu 'anhu) reported, that ALLAH'S Messenger (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said: “Who is fasting today?” Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) (again) said: Who has followed a funeral procession today? Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam - the Holy Prophet) again said: Who amongst you has served food to the needy today Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 30th day of Rajab 1446AH, Thursday. 30th Jan. 2025). MEANING OF ALLAH CREATING HUMANS IN HIS OWN IMAGE.  BismilLah. Unfortunately, other faiths have made a serious mistake in trying to compare The CREATOR, ALLAH Azzawajal with HIS Creation human beings in physical appearance, and that's blasphemy and serious error  Sheikh AbuAmina, in one of his articles, explained that, in Islam, we believe that all people have been created in the “image” of ALLAH Azzawajal. But what does this mean? ALLAH Azzawajal is the creator of everything, including all people. That people are in the “image of ALLAH Azzawajal” means they are in the form that HE, ALLAH Azzawajal has chosen and honored for them, not that they resemble ALLAH Azzawajal in physical appearance or share in the Divine Essence. Just as we say a righteous person is the “servant of ALLAH” and a mosque is the “house of ALLAH” as a way to honor them, likewise is it an added dignity for pe...
