THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arbaă, 25th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Wednesday, 1st May, 2019). LET'S SPEAK WITH CARE. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. As Ramadan approaches, let's strive to change our complete ways of life including how we speak to others etc. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “A person may say something that is pleasing to ALLAH but he does not realize it, and ALLAH raises his status by many degrees because of it, and a person may say something that angers ALLAH, but he does not realize it, and for that he may be thrown deep into Hell.” [Saheeh Bukhari]. We must always be wary of the words that slip out of our mouths. ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) has appointed angels to record the deeds, both good and bad, of the children of Aadam (alaihis salam). These are the angels referred to in the Ayaat: “But verily, over you (are appointed angels) to watch you, Kiraaman Kaatibeen, writing down. They know all that you do.” [Quran 82:10...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 24th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Tuesday, 30th April, 2019). EXPIATION IF YOU SLEEP WITH YOUR WIFE OR BREAK YOUR FAST DURING THE DAY DUE TO ANY RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR WIFE. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Ramadan is few days ahead Alhamdulillah and may ALLAH favor us to be part with good health through the halaal means. We all know that it's permissible to have any halaal relationship with your wife after breaking the fast in Ramadan. But to do that during the day time whilst fasting is ongoing is a grave evil, a major sin and a repulsive shameful deed. What you must do if it ever happens or happened before is to repent to ALLAH, may He be exalted, and make up that day, as well as offering expiation. Ibn Qudaamah (may ALLAH have mercy on him) said: The expiation (kafaarah) becomes a binding obligation upon one who has intercourse in Ramadan during the day deliberately, whether he ejaculates or not, according to the view of the majority...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 23rd day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Monday, 29th April, 2019). PREGNANT AND BREASTFEEDING WOMEN IN RELATION TO FASTING IN RAMADAN. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Its important to start reminding each other about Ramadan dos and dons from today in shaa ALLAH. First of all, let me remind all that, a husband CANNOT fast to cover his wife's missed Ramadan fastings. With regards to Breastfeeding mothers and also pregnant women, two scenarios may apply: 1. If the woman is not affected by fasting, and fasting is not too difficult for her, and she does not fear for her child, then she is obliged to fast, and it is not permissible for her not to fast. 2. If the woman fears for herself or her child because of fasting, and fasting is difficult for her, then she is allowed not to fast, but she has to make up the days that she does not fast after Ramadan. In this situation it is better for her not to fast, and it is makrooh or descouraged for her...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 22nd day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Sunday, 28th April, 2019). Understanding Television. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. The entire world today especially in the middle east, the murder and mayhem have been going on for years. "The only social activities left in the cities are those related to death," wrote a Karachi newsmagazine editorial some few years ago. "Funerals, burial, mourning." When you leave the home in the morning, you don't know whether you'll return safely that evening. Wherever you look, you can see fear, uncertainty, and depression. Yet, among all the fearing and grieving that accompanies the tragedy, the dish antennas on the rooftops has been flourishing. In the past at times of catastrophes people would turn to ALLAH, would stop going to the cinema houses, and would repent from sins, even though temporarily. Today, there is an ever-increasing appetite for the television fun. On days when a strike is c...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 21st day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Saturday, 27th April, 2019). I AM A MUSLIM, THAT IS THE CORRECT TITLE TO USE AS MUSLIMS WITHOUT ANY SECT NAME TAG. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. We Muslims today have regrettably divided and subdivided ourselves into numerous sects each one labeling themselves by diverse names. The Quran strongly forbids divisions of any sort or to associate with those that break away into sects. ALLAH says in Qur'an 6 vs159. "Indeed, those who divide their religion and break up into sects, you have no part with them in the least: their affair is with ALLAH: HE will in the end tell them the truth of all that they used to do". Even though this verse was revealed to warn the Ahlul kitaab for their division with invented ideologies such as trinity etc, the verse is also for Muslims who has divided Islam into sects and hate others because of their sect beliefs. We are Muslims following the Teachings of ALLAH and HI...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 20th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Friday, 26th April, 2019). EVIL DISEASES OF THE HEART. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Imagine standing in Tahajjud all night but end up gaining sins AstaqfirulLah. Very dangerous isn't it. As human beings we have this dangerous disease of acting to please others instead of ALLAH. Imagine someone offering Salaat, as soon as he noticed someone watching, he or she try to perfect it than how he use to do it, that's a minor shirk if not major bcs it means you are prefearing the person looking at you to ALLAH seeing you live all the time. This is the disease of ar-riyaa (show-off). It’s very difficult. Nobody can say, “I’m safe from riyaa.” The one who says this is showing off. The Prophet warned us about riyaa, but what is the meaning of ar-riyaa? Riyaa is so dangerous that the Prophet gave it a special name. He said, “Indeed the thing I fear for you the most is the minor shirk (associating partners with...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 19th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Thursday, 25th April, 2019). ENVY AND HATRED ARE THE DESTROYERS OF OUR GOOD DEEDS. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Envy (hasad) is a spiritual disease that is the root of numerous sins. It is incompatible with true faith and it has the capacity to nullifying a person’s good deeds. A Muslim cannot achieve a pure heart until it is emptied of all envy, hatred, and malice. The definition of envy is that it is a desire to see someone harmed in something with which ALLAH has blessed them. The person who envies is, in reality, displeased with the way ALLAH has distributed HIS blessings. ALLAH says: أَمْ يَحْسُدُونَ النَّاسَ عَلَىٰ مَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ Or do they envy people for what ALLAH has given them of HIS bounty? Quran 4:54. Imam An-Nawawi wrote in one of his books that: الحسد هو تمني زوال النعمة عن صاحبها سواء كانت نعمة دين أو دنيا Envy is the desire for someone who has a blessing to be depri...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arbaā, 18th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Wednesday, 24th April, 2019). SOME MESSAGES FROM ALLAH TO THE  CHRISTIANS: BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. A great portion of the Qur'an pertains to or involves the Christians and the Jews and its important we share to them. These are messages from ALLAH(The Mighty GOD) for Christians and non Muslims as a whole. Share to them please.  ALLAH SAYS: "Truly! The likeness of Jesus Christ with ALLAH is as the likeness of Aadam. HE created him of dust, then said unto him: Be, and he was." Al-Qur'an 3:59. "Say: O People of the Scripture! Come to an agreement between us and you: that we shall worship none but ALLAH, and that we shall ascribe no partner unto HIM, and that none of us shall take others for Lords besides ALLAH. And if they turn away, then say to them: I Bear witness that we among those who have surrendered (unto him). "O People of the Scripture! Why will you argue about, when the To...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 17th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Tuesday, 23rd April, 2019). WHO IS YOUR PRIORITY IN YOUR DAILY LIFE? Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem.  As Ramadan approaches, it's important to renew our relationship with our Creator, ALLAH. Please note that No matter how overloaded a bus is, the driver's seat is always reserved. Who is the driver of your life? No matter how busy your schedules are...always remember to reserve a seat for the driver of your life and that's ALLAH not your husband, wife, father, mother etc but ALLAH so make your priority in life to please HIM and fear no one else in your efforts to Please ALLAH. Frankly and truthfully, ALMOST ALL OUR DIFFICULTIES are due to the fact that we've made someone or something else as our driver in life and human beings can only fail you if you make them your priority other than ALLAH. For most people, job, partner, parents, children etc are their drivers in life as such some even mis...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 16th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Monday, 22nd April, 2019). WHO ARE  YOUR ROLE MODELS?. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's Look at the way some admire the so called  "stars"   Footballers , Musicians, Actors and Actresses but SOME of these are the people who do not have modesty, no shyness, no fear of ALLAH (GOD) but very unfortunately they have become role model for many Muslims. Whatever they say or do is the best. This reminds me of one hadeeth of our beloved Prophet peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him, who said a time will come...... And a man will be admired for his intelligence, manners  and strength, though indeed he will not have belief equal to a mustard seed in his heart." Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 6497 (To make the Heart Tender (Ar-Riqaq)) In-book reference: Book 81, Hadith 86. The people we see and admire to be intelligent and cool, are the unwise because ALLAH says about those who would be i...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 16th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Saturday, 21st April, 2019). POISONS OF THE HEART: BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. ALLAH says in the Qur'an; "And keep yourself (O Muhammad!) patiently with those who call on their Lord (your companions who remember their Lord with glorification, praising in prayers, etc., and other righteous deeds, etc.) morning and afternoon, seeking His Face, and let not your eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp and glitter the life of the world; and obey not him whose heart We have made heedless of Our Remembrance, one who follows his own lusts and whose affair (deeds) has been lost." The Holy Quran: 18:28. Poision I mean unnecessary talking, unrestrained glances(zina of the eyes), too much eating, and keeping bad company, Gambling such as betting etc. Of all the poisons, these are the most widespread and have the greatest effect on a heart's well-being. Unnecessary TalkingIt is reported in al-Musnad, on th...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 14th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Saturday, 20th April, 2019). PURIFICATION OF THE HEART. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. As human beings ALLAH has given us the power of choice to act good or bad that is the reason why we are the best of ALLAH'S creations and we must take as much advantage of that blessing as we can! THERE are creations such as Angels who worship ALLAH because that is their job, but we worship ALLAH by choice to test us similarly to going to school by choice to be tested at the end of some years. You can go to school for 3 years but within 2 weeks test, you fail your entire years of education isnt it?. Our school is to follow Islam through the Quran and sunnah and the one who does the most sincerely through the Prophetic ways, will get the most acknowledgement from ALLAH. Our goal in life should be strive to be that one such person who strive to obey ALLAH regardless of the difficulties in achieving that. The effort we put ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 13th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Friday, 19th April, 2019). Ruling on in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and Also Ruling on using eggs or sperm from someone other than the spouses in artificial insemination. BismilLah. The following rulings are from Scholars based on QUR'AN and SUNNAH so let's study them and accept it for ALLAH sake. Undoubtedly children are one of the blessings and adornments of this world, and one of the greatest purposes of marriage is to produce offspring. A righteous child is a treasure for his or her parents in this world and in the Hereafter, and his righteous deeds will be recorded in the balance of his parents’ deeds. A man or a woman may be faced with lack of children or delay of having children. What they must do is be patient and seek reward, and say a lot of du’aa’ and prayers for forgiveness. They should understand that ALLAAH only decree things for a reason. If a person has available Islamically acceptable m...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arbā, 11th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Wednesday, 17th April, 2019). THE SWEETNESS of FAITH is TO LOVE ALLAH, HIS Messenger, and the people. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. The Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam, said, “None will taste the sweetness of faith until you loves a person only for the sake of ALLAH, until he would rather be thrown in the fire than to return to unbelief, and until ALLAH and HIS Messenger are more beloved to him than anything else.”Sahih Bukhari 5694, Sahih Muslim 43. Today we claim we are Muslims and can easily say we love ALLAH and HIS Messenger but we've turned gamblers, cheaters, thieves etc. We can only claim to love ALLAAH and HIS Messenger if we totally strive to obey the commandments of ALLAH and HIS Messenger. If you commit fornication (zina), steal, disrespect parents, you receive or pay interest on loans and credit cards, work with non Islamic banks, work with alcoholic companies, having disbelievers as closed ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 10th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Tuesday, 16th April, 2019). LET'S TEACH OUR CHILDREN SKILLS THAT LEAD TO EARNING ONLY HALAAL (legal) INCOME OR WEALTH. BismilLah. Parents/individuals MUST spend their time, effort, and resources to help themselves or their children make the right choices for earning a halaal living. In doing so, parents should stress the need for their children to pursue career paths that can provide them solely with Halal (legal) living not just choosing any career path just to earn admission even if such path leads to haraam sustenance such as banking finance etc especially in non Islamic countries. Islam places enormous emphasis on this subject and these teachings are clearly stated both in the Quran and hadith. In one case, the prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is reported to have said: “…Purify your food, your supplication will be accepted. By the one in whose hand lays the life of me, Muhammad, verily a servant...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 9th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Monday, 15th April, 2019). FOOTBALL BETTING IS FORBIDDEN IN ISLAM. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. ALLAH (ArRazzaaq, The Provider of Wealth) Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5, Suurah Maaidah verses 90-91 to the nearest Meaning "O you who believe! Intoxicants, gambling(betting), (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows are an abomination of the Shaytaan's handiwork: avoid such abomination that you may prosper. ALLAH says. Betting on something whereby one wins/loses based merely on chance is a clear manifestation of the abomination of maysir or gambling which is categorically forbidden to the believers who sincerely fear ALLAH and the Last Day. One may play or engage in a sport like football, or tennis, or cricket, or swimming, etc. with the intention to improving ones health or fitness, or even to merely amuse oneself..and there is absolutely no harm in occasionally playing such sports, provi...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 8th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Sunday, 14th April, 2019). LET'S STRIVE TO SOFTEN OUR HEART. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. It is a curse to have a hardened heart and it is a blessing to have a soft heart. Those with hardened hearts suffer in this life, even though they may have all of the trappings of this life. What seems to be an enjoyable life is empty, it is filled with loneliness. They cannot find peace of mind and of heart because their hearts are hardened to ALLAH to belief in ALLAH, to submission to ALLAH. That is why ALLAH says, "Whoever turns away from my remembrance will have a wretched life." [Al-Qur'an 20:124]. and, "Whosoever turns away from My Message, verily for him is a life narrowed down, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Judgement." What is most beneficial in this life is a soft heart. We should strive to achieve it because everything else would be meaningless and useless if we do not ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 7th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Saturday, 13th April, 2019).WHY WE SHOULD STRIVE TO OFFER OUR 5 TIMES DAILY SALAAT (PRAYERS) PROPERLY. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Prayer (salaat) is the most important practice in Islam after declaring faith in ALLAH and HIS Messenger. The Prophet described the prayer as a light, the pillar of Islam, and among the best deeds. The giant companion of the Prophet Abdullah ibn Mas’ud may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: I asked, “O Messenger of ALLAH, which deed is best?” The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: الصَّلَاةُ عَلَى مِيقَاتِهَا Prayer in its proper time. Source: Sahih Bukhari 2630. But this is for the true and sincere prayer that completes its purpose and objectives, both inwardly and outwardly, not simply going through the motions and rituals without presence of the heart in it through concentration. In order for the prayer to be fulfilled, we must allow it to purify our h...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 6th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Friday, 12th April, 2019). MISSING JUMUAT AND OFFERING ZUHUR SALAAT. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. AlhamdulilLah for granting us another blessed day of the week. It's important we set our priorities this morning right before we leave our homes for our daily sustenance. We must have within our agenda, the intention to go to the masjid for the jumuat salaat and more importantly getting to the masjid early before the imam arrives. When you enter the masjid, offer your two rakaats greetings of the masjid then sit down reciting your suuratul kahf or salutations to the Prophet sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam till the imam comes. As soon as the imam says Assalaamu Alaikum warahmatullah and you respond, we are to listen to the imam silently without any act, else we looses our share of the rewards of the jumuat. Switch off your phone and sit silently and attentively as if you are offering salaat. There is no specific d...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 5th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Thursday, 11th April, 2019). UNLAWFUL EARNED MONEY. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. One of the companions of the Prophet once said to the Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam): “Pray to ALLAH that HE may accept my prayers.” The Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Eat lawful food and for that your Dua or prayers will be accepted.” Notice that the Prophet did not just start praying for him but advised him to ensure his source of income is halaal and ALLAH will then answer his dua. If you feel that your prayers are not being answered, look into the source of your income. Scrutinize it carefully. Are you going against any of ALLAH'S ’s injunctions to earn it? Whatever a person spends to take care of another, or in charity, or in the Path of ALLAH, ALLAH is capable of supporting HIS servants and projects as such its important we give in charity only what we earn lawfully else you ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Arbaà, 4th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Wednesday, 10th April, 2019). Morals and Manners in Islam. Let's study them and apply them in our daily ways of life. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. The Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaahu alayhi wa Sallam) said: “Whoever believes in ALLAH and the last day then let him say a word that is good or be silent.” And the Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wa Sallam) said: “From the goodness of a person’s Islam is that he leaves off that which does not concern him.” Also, the Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wa Sallam) said to the one who sought advice from him: “Do not become angry!” Likewise, the Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wa Sallam) said: “None of you (truly) believes until he loves for his brother, what he loves for himself.” Hence, these four narrations are all from forty hadeeth of the narrations regarding morals and manners, collected by Imam An-Nawawee (May ALLAH be pleased with him). These actions must be done all the t...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 3rd day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Tuesday, 9th April, 2019). ARE YOU WISER THAN AN ANT? THEN WHY WASTE YOUR TIME IN WORLDLY THINGS. Enjoy this eemaan booster. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. One Sunday morning, a wealthy man sat in his balcony enjoying sunshine and his coffee when a little ant caught his eye which was going from one side to the other side of the balcony carrying a big leaf several times more than its size. The man watched it for more than an hour. He saw that the ant faced many impediments during its journey, paused, took a diversion and then continued towards destination. At one point the tiny creature came across a crack in the floor. It paused for a little while, analyzed and then laid the huge leaf over the crack, walked over the leaf, picked the leaf on the other side then continued its journey. The man was captivated by the cleverness of the ant, one of Allah’s tiniest creatures. The incident left the man in awe and fo...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 2nd day of Shăban, 1440, (Monday, 8th April, 2019). THE MONTH OF SHĂBAN AND ITS MERITS. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. The Arrival of the Sha’baan moon brings with it numerous blessings. Just as the initiation of rainfall begins with "pitter patter" such blessings reach us in the same accord and fashion.  Just as a farmer prepares for a fruitful harvest by harrowing his acreage so that the soil may readily retain water; in contrast our souls are geared by the presence of such blessings in Sha’baan effectively preparing us for a fruitful and completely advantageous Ramadan. The month of Sha’baan is one of the meritorious months in the Islamic calendar and it is reported in an authentic hadith that the Holy Prophet (sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam) used to fast most of this month. Although these fasts are not obligatory, Sha’baan is the month immediately preceding the month of Ramadan, therefore some preparatory measures are sugge...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 1st day of Shaăban, 1440, (Sunday, 7th April, 2019). THE POWER of BEEN PATIENT. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. ALLAH has made patience like a horse that never gets tired, an army that can never be defeated and a strong fortress that can never be breached. Patience and victory are twin brothers, for victory comes with patience, relief comes with distress and ease comes with hardship. Patience is of more help to the one who has it, as it helps without any need for equipment or numbers and its relationship to victory is like that of the head to the body.  In the Qur’aan, ALLAAH has guaranteed those who are patient that HE will give them reward without measure. HE tells us that HE is with us by guiding and supporting us and granting us a clear victory. ALLAAH says in Quran, “Surely, I'm with those who are As‑Saabiroon (the patient)” Quran 6:46. Do you want ALLAH to be with you always? Then lets rely only on ALLAH for better for worse bcs a...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 30th day of Rajab, 1440, (Saturday, 6th April, 2019). Prophet Muhammad (sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam), The TRUTHFUL and RIGHTEOUS. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam was recognized, even by the Quraish of Mekkah, his worst enemies, who called him by the name of as-Sidddiq (the truthful) and al-Ameen (the trustworthy) long before his Prophet hood because of his honest and truthful dealings as a trader. But the titles al-Ameen and as-Sidddiq do not simply imply honesty in money matters alone; they are comprehensive and cover righteousness in every form.  Whoever happened to have any dealings with him at this early period never ceased to praise him all his life. The consistency of his honest and truthful conduct is proven by the fact that he began his mission of Prophethood with the words: Laa ilaaha illa ‘Llah (there is no deity worthy of worship but ALLAH) and ended his Mission with the same thought ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 30th day of Rajab, 1440, (Friday, 5th April, 2019). OUR ROLE WHEN PROVIDING ADVICE. BismilLah. When correcting others, choose words that aim to “advise” rather than condemn, demean, or punish the other. Avoid correcting the other person when your emotions are running high. As mentioned earlier, if your intent is to see longer term behavior change in the other person without hurting your relationship, save the advice for future when you are more in control of your emotions. Angrily advising someone is bound to push the other to erect barriers rather than staying open to listen to the advice. Even when you know that the other person is at fault, it is important to maintain humility. Consider this story which is an important reminder: The Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: “There were two men from Banoo Israa’eel who strove equally. One of them committed sins and the other strove hard in worship. And the one who strove in worship c...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 29th day of Rajab, 1440, (Thursday, 4th April, 2019). CORRECT OTHERS by “ADVISING ” and not “CONDEMNING”. BismilLah. People always seek advice to gain from others’ knowledge and experience. Providing advice by enjoining the good and forbidding the evil is an integral part of Islamic teachings. ALLAH says in the Quran, “You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma’ruf (the good that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (the bad that Islam has forbidden)” (Quran 3:110).  HE also tells us that within families, we should actively advise each other to do what’s right and to stay away from the wrong. ALLAH says, “O you who believe! Ward off yourselves and your families against a Fire (Hell)…” (Quran 66:6). As promising as the concept may seem, advising people does require a willingness and sincerity on the part of all involved. Advising takes even a different form when it is done to correct others’ faults and...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arbaà, 28th day of Rajab, 1440, (Wednesday, 3rd April, 2019). ISLAMIC SOLUTION TO FORGETFULNESS. Bismillah. Islam is a complete way of life as such has all solutions to all the creation of ALLAH. It is human nature to be forgetful, as the Arab poet said: “He is only called man (insaan) because of his forgetfulness (nasiyaan), and it is only called the heart (al-qalb) because it changes so rapidly (yataqallib).” Some of the things that may help to combat forgetfulness are: Keeping away from sin, because the bad effects of sin result in a bad memory and the inability to retain knowledge. The darkness of sin cannot co-exist with the light of knowledge. The knowledge of ALLAAH is light, and the light of ALLAAH is not given to the sinner.” We are talking about beneficial knowledge here please so don't ask me why some of the kuffar are knowledgeable. If your knowledge does not aid you to earn the halaal way and live in peace worshipping ALLAH knowin...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 27th day of Rajab, 1440, (Tuesday, 2nd April, 2019). CAN I MARRY A CHRISTIAN?. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. This is a popular question that I respond regularly through my reminders occasionally but it keeps coming as if our Muslim sisters are in shortage SubhaaAllah. Those who boldly respond YES YOU CAN, uses Quran 5:5 to justify their response in which ALLAH says Today, all good food is made lawful for you, The food of the people of the scripture is lawful for you, [and your food is lawful for them], Also, you may marry the chaste women among the believers, as well as the chaste women among the FOLLOWERS of PREVIOUS SCRIPTURE (Ahlul kitaab), provided you pay them their due dowries. But the Major question that has escaped many is Who is Ahlul Kitaab? If ALLAH was to say we can only marry black woman, can we marry a white woman who bleeches to look like black? NO ISN'T IT? Let me proof to you from the Quran that most so called...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 26th day of Rajab, 1440, (Monday, 1st April, 2019). WHY INTER-MIXING, TOUCHING OF OPPOSITE GENDER ETC ARE PROHIBITED IN ISLAM. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. We all know as Muslims that Islam is a way of life as such ALLAH has prescribed how we should live our lives to aid us from any satanic influences and plot against us. ALLAH says in Quran 17:32 that we shouldn't go near fornication, meaning we should avoid whatever can aid us to commit fornication of the eyes by just looking with some wish thought, fornication of the hand by touching and ALLAH has hinted us that free mixing between men and women is one of the ways sheitan plot against us to commit zina(fornication) especially touching and holding each other with some unacceptable excuses. Indeed, mixing between men and women should be very restricted in Islam due to the great harm it causes. As we all know it is a great fitnah(temptation), so all Muslims, especially guys and ...
