THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 9th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Monday, 15th April, 2019). FOOTBALL BETTING IS FORBIDDEN IN ISLAM. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. ALLAH (ArRazzaaq, The Provider of Wealth) Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5, Suurah Maaidah verses 90-91 to the nearest Meaning "O you who believe! Intoxicants, gambling(betting), (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows are an abomination of the Shaytaan's handiwork: avoid such abomination that you may prosper. ALLAH says. Betting on something whereby one wins/loses based merely on chance is a clear manifestation of the abomination of maysir or gambling which is categorically forbidden to the believers who sincerely fear ALLAH and the Last Day. One may play or engage in a sport like football, or tennis, or cricket, or swimming, etc. with the intention to improving ones health or fitness, or even to merely amuse oneself..and there is absolutely no harm in occasionally playing such sports, provided its indulgence does not effect the fulfillment of ones obligatory duties in Islam such as our salaat, dressing Islamically etc. But if one places a bet that such and such a sports team will win the World Cup, win a game, score such goals, and one is entitled to win/lose something depending on whether his prediction was right or wrong without an iota of a doubt, such betting on sports (or anything else for that matter) would constitute the abomination of maysir or gambling in the Sight of ALLAH. Respected brothers and sisters in Islam, there is an obvious and clear distinction between playing a sport oneself, and placing a bet or gambling in sport. From today, let's repent and give out the penny we use for gambling to the poor which is a loan to ALLAH and ALLAH will pay you back in multiples for sure so let's gamble with ALLAH not with Shaitaan. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless. I did not have a place to sleep. I walked in the dark looking for options and, unfortunately, a thief stole my empty purse with my ID. He was badly hit by a car in high speed as he fle...

Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊. It's sunnah from the Prophet Muhammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Don't forget to offer your witir Salaat before sleeping or offer your two rakaats sha...
