DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 29th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Monday. 30th Dec. 2024). IS PRAYING TAHIYYATUL MASJID AN OBLIGATION or A RECOMMENDATION?? BismilLah.  TAHIYYATUL MASJID means to greet the masjid by offering two Sunnah rakaats whenever we enter into any masjid or mosque termly greeting the masjid  Scholars disagree whether praying two rakaats of prayer when we enter the masjid is an obligation (wajib) or a recommendation (mustahab). The primary evidence under discussion is the following narration: Abu Qatadah reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلْيَرْكَعْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ When one of you enters the mosque, then let him pray two rakaats before he sits down. Sahih Bukhari 433, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. In another narration, the Prophet said: فَلَا يَجْلِسْ حَتَّى يَرْكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ Let him not sit down until he prays two rakaats. Sahih Muslim 714, Grade:...

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 28th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Sunday. 29th Dec. 2024). SHOWING OFF IN WORSHIP. BismilLah.  Whoever does any act of worship for the sake of ALLAAH and other people, his deeds will be unacceptable, as is stated in the hadeeth qudsi: ALLAH says “I am so self-sufficient that I am in no need of having an associate. Thus, he who does a deed for someone else’s sake as well as MINE will have that deed denounced by ME to him who he associated with ME.” (Reported by Muslim, no. 2985). It may happen that a person starts to do a deed for the sake of ALLAAH, then the urge to show off comes over him. If he resists that impulse, his deed will still be acceptable, but if he submits willingly to it, then in the opinion of most of the scholars, his deed will be unacceptable. May ALLAH protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 27th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Saturday. 28th Dec. 2024). LET'S STRIVE FOR JANNATUL FIRDAUS. BismilLah.  Dear brothers and sisters in deen. Let's note that one of the names of the Day of Judgment is Yaum ul-Hasara - the Day of Regret.  Those people who spend their time in useless things will regret it on the Day of Judgement when they see those who obtained the stations of Paradise by their efforts in the path of ALLAH. On the other hand, those who do achieve a place in Paradise will regret not having strived harder when they see the loftier stations of Paradise that could have been theirs. May ALLAH aid our efforts, forgive our mistakes in sinning against ourselves and protect us from the punishment of the grave and the hellfire. Aameen.
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 26th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Friday. 26th Dec. 2024). ALLAH HAS PROMISED US PARADISE, WHAT ELSE DO WE NEED? BismilLah.  Alhamdulillah, for blessing us to be part of this blessed day.  ALLAH has said in the Quran: “And give good news (O Muhammad) to those who believe and do good deeds, that they will have gardens (Paradise) in which rivers flow....” (Quran 2:25) ALLAH also says: “Race one with another for forgiveness from your Lord and for Paradise, whose width is as the width of the heavens and the earth, which has been prepared for those who believe in ALLAH and HIS messengers....” (Quran 57:21). The Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of ALLAH be upon him, told us that the lowest in rank among the dwellers of Paradise will have ten times the like of this world,  [ Narrated in Saheeh Muslim, #186, and Saheeh Al-Bukhari, #6571], and he or she will have whatever he or she desires and ten times like it. [ Narrated...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 25th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Thursday. 26th Dec. 2024). Kindness to Parents is an act of worship and Obligatory. BismilLah. ALLAH says, " Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but HIM, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff" and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word." - Surah Al Isra (17:23). Brothers and sisters in Islam: ALLAH swt has ordained the good treatment of parents and warned us against treating them with disrespect. There are several verses in the Quran where kindness to parents is coupled with the most important aspect of Islam, i.e. worshipping ALLAH alone. This indicates that being kind to parents, honouring, and respecting them, is extremely important in Islam. Honouring parents can be considered as ‘*ibadah*’ an act of worship if the intention is to please ALLAH swt by obeying HIS commands not necessa...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 24th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Wednesday. 25th Dec. 2024). SAY TO MANKIND, GOD, ALLAH IS ONE AND ONLY WITHOUT ANY SON OR SPOUSE. BismilLah.  When the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam declared that ALLAH had chosen him to become HIS Messenger for mankind,  the Jews said, `We worship Uzayr, the son of ALLAH,' and the Christians said, `We worship the Messiah (Isa), the son of ALLAH,' and the Zoroastrians said, `We worship the sun and the moon,' and the idolators said, `We worship idols,' WHO DO YOU WORSHIP? ALLAH revealed to HIS Messenger instantly through Angel Gabriel in Qur'an 112:1-4,  قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ Say to mankind: "HE is ALLAH, ONE and ONLY." meaning, HE is the ONE, the SINGULAR, Who has no peer, no assistant, no rival, no equal and none comparable to HIM. ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ  "This means the ONE Who all of the creation depends upon for their needs and their requests." لَمۡ يَلِدۡ وَلَمۡ ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 23rd day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Tuesday. 24th Dec. 2024). MINOR FORM OF KUFUR. BismilLah.  These types of disbelief are minor ones. They do not take a person out of the fold of Islam but only show weakness in faith in ALLAH, which MUST be avoided at all cost. The person may be forgiven by ALLAH or punished if you do not seek forgiveness before death. Among them are: Ingratitude This is not being grateful towards a blessing that one has been given and ascribing the blessing to someone else either by statement or actions. [Quran 14:7] And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favour]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.’ “ AstaqfirulLah.  And this blessing, the soul testifies that it is from ALLAH, but the body parts deny it. ALLAH says: يَعْرِفُونَ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 22nd day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Monday. 23rd Dec. 2024). ALWAYS REMEMBER THE FIRST COMMAND OF ALLAH. BismilLaah.  When you buy a machine, and then you find it difficult to deal with, or it stops working, who is the best one to help you deal with this machine? The one who invented it, right? So basically, either you go through the manual or those who have studied the manual to help you fix the problem. So logically, as human beings, we have a CREATOR, ALLAH, so for whatever bothers you, seek the Creator and understand what HE created. No one would know the CREATION better than its CREATOR who made it, isn't it?. This is it. This is the revelation. This is the message in those verses. “Recite in the name of your Lord who CREATED, ”HE is telling us to study and understand ourselves and our life with the powerful names and guidance of our own Lord who CREATED. CREATED what? “CREATED man from a clinging substance.”HE created us out of no...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 21st day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Sunday. 22nd Dec. 2024).TREAT THE BAD RELATIVES AND FRIENDS WITH GOODNESS.  BismilLah  In Quran 41:34, ALLAH says (Tafsir ibn kathir); وَلَا تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّيِّيَةُ The good deed and the evil deed can not be equal. means there is a huge difference between them. ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ Repel (the evil) with one which is better, means, `when someone does you wrong, repel him by treating him well,' as Umar, may ALLAH be pleased with him, said, "There is no better punishment for one who has disobeyed ALLAH with regard to you than your obeying ALLAH with regard to him." فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ عَدَاوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ then verily he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend. means, `if you treat well those who treat you badly, this good deed will lead to reconciliation, love and empathy, and it will be as if he is ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 20th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Saturday. 21st Dec. 2024). DOES Muslims Worship Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) AS OTHERS DO TO PREVIOUS PROPHETS?”. BismilLah.  Yet another misconception is that Muslims worship the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This is entirely untrue, and is easily refuted by the actual saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him): “Do not over-praise me as the Christians over-praised Jesus peace be upon him, the son of Mary. I am a Servant to the Creator,  ALLAH, so refer to me as ‘God’s slave or servant and a Messenger.'' That's exactly what all Prophets said to their people.  Worshipping God alone is the basis of Islamic teachings, as mentioned in the Qur’an in numerous places:  “And worship ALLAH and do not join anyone with HIM in worship.”Qur’an 4:36. Islam teaches Muslims to respect all of God’s Prophets and Messengers - but respecting and loving them does not mean worshipping them. The ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 19th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Friday. 20th Dec. 2024). A SERIOUS CONDITION TO FULFIL FOR ALLAH TO ANSWER OUR DUA. BismilLah Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week. May ALLAH accept it from us all. Aameen. Our khutbah today is remind each other that consuming haraam wealth is one of the major reasons why du’aa’s are not answered. Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “O people, ALLAAH is Good and only accepts that which is good. ALLAH commanded the pious to follow the same commandments as HE gave to the Messengers. HE says; ‘O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods which ALLAH has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits)] and do righteous deeds. Verily, I am Well-Acquainted with what you do’ [al-Mu’minoon 23:51]. ‘O you ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 18th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Thursday. 19th Dec. 2024). HOW TO ACT DURING HARD TIMES. Bismillah.  Whenever some people face hardship, they give up and walk away from their challenges or complain and blame those around them for the failure. They fall into depression, feel sad about their situation, and feel powerless. They don’t understand “why this is happening to them” or “what they did to deserve this”. But for a productive or good practising Muslim with knowledge, his/her way of thinking is completely different and must be. Whenever a productive Muslim faces hardship, he/she takes a step back from their difficult situation and thinks about it from a higher level. They step back from their life with all its worries, anxieties, and problems, and think about it from an Akhira(hereafter) perspective, then they ask themselves the question: what does this ALL mean when compared to the Hereafter? What does this ALL mean when compared ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 17th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Wednesday. 18th Dec. 2024). LET'S REVIVE THE SUNNAH FOR ALLAH'S PLEASURE. BismilLah.  Abu Sa'eed (R.A), who was one of the companions of our beloved messenger of ALLAH narrated that,  He heared from the prophet saying "Indeed anyone who fast for one day for ALLAH’s Pleasure, ALLAH will keep his or her face away from the hell fire for a distance covered by a journey of seventy years. This means ALLAH will not punish such a person in Hell. ALLAHU AKBAR. This can be traced in Sahih Bukhari Vol 4, book 52, Hadith 93.  The Prophet also said "Our deeds are also shown/ taking to ALLAH on Monday's and Thursday's and said he prefer his deeds are taken to ALLAH whiles he was fasting as such fasted each Mondays and Thursdays so lets emulate his example bcs he is the best role model to follow. While doing all these, we must check and correct our ways of life and avoid sinning and seeking forg...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 16th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Tuesday. 17th Dec. 2024). LET'S STRIVE TO BE AMONG THOSE ALLAH LOVES.  BismilLah.  Basically, ALLAH loves all of HIS creatures, and for that reason, HE sent PROPHETS and MESSENGERS to teach us the truth and guide us to the straight path. ALLAH wants people to choose the way of righteousness and thereby enter Paradise. ALLAH does not love sinful actions. A person who rejects ALLAH commits evil deeds, and dies without repentance will be denied the blessings of ALLAH’S love. Therefore, we should become familiar with the characteristics of those whom ALLAH loves and does not love, as mentioned in the QURAN so that we can strive and pray to be among the successful ones. ALLAH loves those who depend upon HIM for their needs, who are mindful of HIM and remember Him. HE loves those who are grateful to HIM for their blessings, who fear HIS punishment and hope in HIS reward. ALLAH commanded the Prophet sal...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmulahad, 15th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Monday. 16th Dec. 2024). LET’S HOLD FIRM THE GIFT OF ALLAH. BismilLah.  ALLAH has blessed us with a tremendous gift. The gift of EEMAN. This tremendous gift is our KEY to every good in this world. And our salvation in the hereafter. But as we know well, EEMAN is not static. It increases when one does good deeds and decreases when one sins. It's a daily struggle a believer is engaged in to maintain his EEMAN high. There are many practical ways to increase our EEMAN. Today, let's see one of the practical ways to increase our EEMAN. In a narration recorded by al-Bukhari (13), the Prophet (Sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said: "None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." This is vice versa for sisters, too. Loving for your brother what you love for yourselves is a good sign of a strong EEMAN. This shows that you have gotten rid of the selfishness that is nearly i...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmulahad, 14th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Sunday. 15th Dec. 2024). HOW CAN WE BENEFIT FROM FORGIVING OTHERS. BismilLah.  Earning ALLAH’s pleasure; When we are preoccupied with the wrongs others have committed against us, we lose focus on one of the most beautiful ways to get closer to ALLAH. The Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “There was a merchant who used to extend credit to people. If he found one of his customers to be in difficulties, he would say to his assistants: “Forgive them their debt, perhaps ALLAH will forgive us.” ALLAH did forgive him.” [Bukhari/Muslim].  There is a direct correlation between the ways we treat others and how ALLAH (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) treats us. We all know the Prophet’s (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) famous saying “Have mercy on those on the earth, and the One in heaven, ALLAH will have mercy on you” [Tirmidhi]. Of course, ALLAH (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) is incomparably greater and ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 13th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Saturday. 14th Dec. 2024). PRESCRIPTION TO BOOST OUR EEMAAN continues. BismilLah. A Muslim should not look at how small or great the sin is, rather he should look at the greatness and might of the One Whom he or she is disobeying, for HE is the Most Great, the Most High; HE is Mighty in strength and Severe in punishment, and HIS punishment is severe and painful and humiliating. If HE exacts vengeance on those who disobey HIM, then utter destruction will be their fate. ALLAAH says:  “Such is the seizure of your Lord when HE seizes the (population of) towns while they are doing wrong. Verily, HIS Seizure is painful (and) severe.  Indeed, in that there is a sure lesson for those who fear the torment of the Hereafter. That is a Day whereon mankind will be gathered together, and that is a Day when all (the dwellers of the heavens and the earth) will be present” [Hood 11:102-103]. This is more than enough...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 12th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Friday. 13th Dec. 2024). PRESCRIPTION TO BOOST OUR EEMAAN continues. BismilLah. A person who is living in an immoral or unethical environment may ask a question: “How to build a barrier against sins and be safe from their influence.” Listen to what our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) once said before I answer this question. He (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said that a time will come when holding on to Faith will be as difficult as holding a burning coal in hand. Most probably, we are living in such a time period.  It requires moral courage and strength of character to adhere to our faith in the current environment.  Look around, and you will find that vices are creeping in corroding the moral fabric of our society. Falsehood has become an art form. Immodesty is called fashion, and indecency is in vogue. Corruption is rampant. The epidemic is global. Gambling is Halaal now, fo...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 11th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Thursday. 12th Dec. 2024). PRESCRIPTION TO BOOST OUR EEMAAN. BismilLah. ALLAH (The Most Great) says in Aayah 119 of Surah Taubah: “O Believers fear ALLAH and be with those who are truthful.” To fear ALLAH means to avoid sins at all cost and to make sincere repentance and seek forgiveness from ALLAH all the time.  Along with fearing ALLAH, this Aayah also commands to be with the people who are truthful, i.e., who always speak the truth, who at heart are truthful and whose actions reflect their belief in truth. By doing this you are opening the doors to boost your eemaan. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH.  May ALLAH forgive our shortcomings and protect us from any disobedience. Aameen.
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 10th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Wednesday. 11th Dec. 2024). SEEKING SUPPORT FROM ALLAH THROUGH ACTS OF WORSHIP. BismilLah.  In the qur'an ALLAH says; And seek help through PATIENCE and PRAYER, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive to ALLAH. Quran 2:45. Imam ibn kathir in his tafseer stated that; ALLAH commanded HIS servants to use PATIENCE and PRAYER to acquire the good of this life and the Hereafter. What's the meaning of Patience used in the verse? Some scholars said that it means FASTING." Al-Qurtubi and other scholars commented, "This is why Ramadan is called the month of patience," as is mentioned in the Hadith literature. `PATIENCE' in the Aayah also means, refraining from evil, and this is why `PATIENCE was mentioned along with practicing acts of worship, especially and foremost, the PRAYER. Also, Ibn Abi Hatim narrated that Umar bin Al-Khattab said, "There are two types of PATIEN...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 9th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Tuesday. 10th Dec. 2024). WILL I BE PUNISHED FOR NEGLECTING SUNNAH ACT?. BismilLah.  The word Sunnah has two meanings: the path of guidance, which is the meaning in many hadith, such as the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him): Whoever turns away from my Sunnah has nothing to do with me. This means that if you intentionally choose to abandon sunnah acts of worship, you will be sinful and may end up being deviated to kufur by worldly satanic influences.  What the scholars of usool and fiqh call mustahabb (encouraged), are deeds for which the one who does them will be rewarded, but the one who does not do them may not be punished for that. Examples include al-Sunan al-Rawaatib (Sunnah prayers, which the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) did regularly), Salaat al-Duhaa and so on. Therefore, a person will not be punished for not doing things, which are Sunna...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 8th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Monday. 9th Dec. 2024). DON'T FORGET, ALLAH WILL JUDGE US WHEN WE DIE. BismilLah.  It's important to remember that dying is a journey to another living place till judgement day, and as soon as we die, our judgement begins. Our soul is what matters to ALLAH, not the body so let's purify our souls with good deeds and avoiding sins.  ALLAH says in Suurah Al-Isra Ayat 71:  "[Mention, O Muhammad], the Day ALLAH will call forth every people with their record [of deeds]. Then whoever is given his record in his right hand, those will read their records, and injustice will not be done to them, [even] as much as a thread [inside the date seed]."  We learn from the Quran that on the Day of Resurrection, the righteous people will be given their records in their right hands and they will be overjoyed to have a look at it and will show it to others. As regards the wicked people, they will get their re...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 7th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Sunday. 8th Dec. 2024). ALLAH APPOINTS LEADERSHIP. BismilLah.  As a Muslim, it's important to remember that whatever happens is part of ALLAH decision. Nothing can happen without the permission of ALLAH. Let's be patient and accept whoever wins your constituency and the presidency without causing any divisions and hatred towards each other, especially within our communities. There are so many verses which indicates, only ALLAH APPOINTS who should lead any group of people.  ALLAH says in suurah Al-Baqarah Ayat 124:  "And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham was tried by his Lord with commands and he fulfilled them. [ALLAH] said, "Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people." [Abraham] said, "And of my descendants?" [ALLAH] said, "My covenant does not include the wrongdoers." ALLAH says again in suurah Al-Baqarah Ayat 247:  "And their prophet said to them, "Inde...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 6th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Saturday. 6th Dec. 2024). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLah.  The scholars of prophetic narrations understood tolerance to be a very important concept in Islam and specifically in business. Ibn Majah includes in his Sunan a chapter entitled, “On tolerance in trade,” in which he records the following narration: Imam Uthman ibn Affan may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: ALLAH the Exalted will admit a man into Paradise who was easy in his buying and selling, in his paying debts and seeking repayments. Sunan An-Nasa’I 4696. Muslims should always treat others with respect, kindness, and patience. Islam was revealed to make life easier and to encourage good relationships between people. In modern usage, the word “tolerance” has come to signify mutual respect and peaceful coexistence between conflicting religions and ideologies. No doubt, ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 4th day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, Thursday. 5th Dec. 2024). HOW PREPARED ARE WE FOR DEATH?. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Quran 59:18. O you who believe! Have Taqwa of ALLAH. Taqwa of ALLAH which pertains to obeying what HE ordered and staying away from what HE forbade and let every person look to what he has sent forth for tomorrow, meaning, hold yourselves accountable before you are recompensed, and contemplate what you have kept for yourselves of good deeds for the Day of your return and being paraded before your Lord, Have Taqwa of ALLAH, again ordering Taqwa, Verily, ALLAH is All-Aware of what you do. In the above verse, ALLAH asserts that, surely, HE knows all of our deeds and actions. Nothing that pertains to us ever escapes HIS observation, nor any matter of us, wheth...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 3rd day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, 4th Dec. 2024). WHY WE MUST NOT ABANDON OUR SALAAT. BismilLah.  The prayer is a sacred act by which a slave meets with his or her LORD ALLAH 5 times a day. This meeting is direct without any intermediary. It is about standing in front of our LORD talking to HIM DIRECTLY! We are asking of HIS HELP and MERCY. We are conversing with the Creator of the UNIVERSE. Which president or leader of this world would ever give us the time of day that our Creator does? The LORD of the UNIVERSE pays each one of us individually special attention when we stand in front of HIM. NOTHING can be as special as that.  But in order for us to feel such a special feeling then we have to ensure that we not only pray our 5 daily prayers on time but that we clear our minds of all worldly things and stand in front of him and imagine him watching us and reflect over the words that we are reciting. The Salaah is a coolness for our ey...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 2nd day of Jumaad-athaani 1446AH, 3th Dec. 2024). Prohibition of Show-off in any way or shape. BismilLah.   ALLAH, the Exalted, says: "Do not render in vain your Sadaqah (charity) by reminders of your generosity or by injury, like him who spends his wealth to be seen of men.'' (2:264). Abu Hurairah (May ALLAH be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of ALLAH (PBUH) said, "Almighty ALLAH says, `I am the One Who is most free from want of partners. He who does a thing for the sake of someone else beside ME, I discard him and his polytheism..''[by Imam Muslim]. This hadith basically means not to do something virtuous for a mere show for worldly benefit or to gain the reputation of being pious else. ALLAH will nullify the good deeds and deprive such person of the reward. This warning is for doing good deeds for showing off. What about committing sins for show off? Worse punishment, isn't it? Let's study our deen and...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, Monday, 2nd Dec. 2024). SOME WAYS TO BECOME A GOOD OR BETTER MUSLIM.  Bismillaah As Muslims we must strive to become better Muslims all the time with some recommended acts by our Prophet Mohammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam such as Fasting voluntarily for the sake of ALLAH on Mondays and Thursdays,  3 middle days of each Islamic calendar. .  P Another way is to Make Muslim friends and avoid severing ties. Our beloved messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam said, “On the Day of Resurrection ALLAH Almighty will proclaim: “Where are those who have mutual love for My Glory’s sake? Today, I shall shelter them in My shade where there is no shade but Mine. (In Saheeh Muslim). Saying “Assalaamu Alaykum”  (Peace be upon you)  to Muslims you set eyes on is a real blessing in Islam. It immediately let people know you are a Muslim and they usually will be happy to return the greeting and hopefully share a few words with yo...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 29th day of Jumaadal Uulaa, 1446AH (Sunday, 1st Dec. 2024). WHO IS ALLAH continues?.
