 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 13th day of Muharram, 1445AH (Monday, 31st July, 2023). VOLUNTARY FASTING IS THE BEST FOR US. BismilLah.  It's my hope that majority of us are fasting today and would continue tomorrow for the 3 white days of the month plus Thursday. We are in Muharram so do not miss any sunnah fast.  It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may ALLAH be pleased with him that he said: the Messenger of ALLAH said: “ALLAH said: “I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshipper of MINE. THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat and Yaumul Aashuura. 10th day of Muharram, 1445AH (Friday, 28th July, 2023). SPECIAL EID DAY FOR US ALL. BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah to you all. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Today mark the day when ALLAH granted Musah alayhi salaam victory over Fir'awn. Today mark the day ALLAH humiliated HIS worse enemy on earth Fir'awn for his disbelief in ALLAH and claiming he was ALLAH. We are all fasting on this blessed day seeking forgiveness from ALLAH for our sins from last year till date as the Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam recommended.  Those who are unable to fast can still do much to earn lots of rewards especially our sisters and daughters in their monthly cycle.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis. 9th day of Muharram, 1445AH (Thursday, 27th July, 2023). VIRTUES OF FASTING. BismilLah. Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu to all of you. It's my hope that majority are fasting today if you intend to fast tomorrow. If you forgot you can continue if you've not eaten yet as its highly recommended to fast today so that you can add tomorrow day of Aashuura.   There is nothing wrong to fast on Friday as some are made to think. What is not recommended is to opt or single out for only Friday to fast optionally but if you fast on Thursday then nothing wrong to fast on Friday. We all know the importance of fasting in Islam so let's strive for this 2 days. Fasting is one of the best form of getting us closer to ALLAH and ALLAH love those who fast optionally for HIS sake and fasting tomorrow will hopefully expiate our minor sin from last year in Shaa ALLAH.  May ALLAH aid us through our efforts to please HIM and May ALLAH...

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha. 7th day of Muharram, 1445AH (Tuesday, 25th July, 2023). ALLAH IS AL-FATTAH. BismilLah.  AL-FATTAAH means, The Opener, The Judge. The One who opens all the doors of Opportunities, profit and sustenance to HIS slaves/servants. The gate of the solution of every difficut can be easily opened by HIM. HE makes clear what is unclear. Al-Fattaah is the One who judges between HIS slaves with perfect justice. ALLAH, Al-Fattah sends solutions when we least expect it.  Some matters may seem like dilemmas at first. Yuusuf alayhi salaam was imprisoned. But it was through the imprisonment that he  became the Minister.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 6th day of Muharram, 1445AH (Monday, 24th July, 2023). WHY IS WUDUU(Ablution) SO IMPORTANT. BismilLah.  Wuduu(Ablution) is so important even in terms of health because it cleans the organs that are exposed to dirtiness and that are always in contact with things outside like hands, face, mouth, teeth, nose, head and feet. The ways through which microbes could penetrate the body are cleaned at least five times a day Alhamdulillah; thus, many diseases are prevented; the nervous system and the circulatory system of the body then functions better. Wuduu actually eliminates anger and calms the spirit. Therefore, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) advised a person who becomes angry to make wuduu. (Abu Dawud, Adab, 3; Musnad, 4/226) Wuduu is a spiritual weapon of a believer and a spiritual shield against invisible dangers.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 5th day of Muharram, 1445AH (Sunday, 23rd July, 2023). THE HIDDEN BLESSINGS OF ILLNESSES, SICKNESSES and HARDSHIPS. BismilLah.  Jabir ibn Abdullah narrated that ALLAH'S  Messenger salallahu alayhi wasallam said, “On the Day of Resurrection, when people who have suffered affliction on earth are given their reward, those who were always healthy will wish their skins had been cut to pieces with scissors when they were in the world.” (Al-Tirmidhi, 1570).  SubhanAllah, whatever pain we suffer in this life is not in vain as Muslims. It is not wasted. ALLAH the Most High has a plan for us, and HE is the best of planners. We must have faith in HIM and HIS plan for us.  Any form of hardship is an expiation for our sins to be wiped so that we can enter Jannatul Firdaus without any sins.  We ask ALLAH, AL-GHAFFAR (The All- and Oft-Forgiving) to have mercy on us all and forgive our sins.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 4th day of Muharram, 1445AH (Saturday, 22nd July, 2023). LETS STRIVE TO BE TRUTHFUL AND FOLLOW THOSE WHO PRACTICE TRUTHFULNESS. BismilLah.  ALMIGHTY ALLAH says in Qur'an 9:119 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُواْ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ  O you who have believed, fear ALLAH and be with those who are true. The Ayah says, adhere to and always say the truth so that you become among its people and be saved from destruction. ALLAH will make a way for you out of your concerns and a refuge. Imam Ahmad recorded that Abdullah bin Mas`ud said that the Messenger of ALLAH said, Hold on to truth, for being truthful leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. Verily, a man will keep saying the truth and striving for truth, until he is written before ALLAH as very truthful (AS-Siddiiq). Beware of lying, for lying leads to sin, and sin leads to the Fire. BENEFITS OF MUHARRAM    BismilLah.  Although many of us understand the importance of the month of Ramadhan, we can often neglect the sacred months. However, they offer us a wealth of opportunities to seek the mercy and favour of ALLAH, the likes of which cannot be found at any other time of the year. They have been specifically selected by ALLAH HIMSELF as the best times to draw closer to HIM. Some easy ways to take advantage of the benefits of Muharram include: Saying salaam more! BismilLah.  ALLAH'S sacred month of Muharram is a blessed and important month. It is the first month of the Hijri (Islamic) calendar and is one of the four sacred months concerning which ALLAH says; "Verily, the number of months with ALLAH is twelve months (in a year), so it was ordained by ALLAH on the Day when HE created the heavens and the earth; of them, four are sacred. That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein … "Al-Qur'an 9:36. The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: "The year is twelve months of which four are sacred, the three consecutive months of Dhul-Qa'dah, Dhul-Hijjah and Muharram, and Rajab Mudar which comes between Jumadah and Sha'aban."  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Arba'a. 1st day of Muharram, 1444AH (Wednesday, 19th July, 2023). RACISM, NATIONALISM AND DISCRIMINATION ETC ARE FORBIDDEN IN ISLAM . BismilLaah. It's a sad reality that discrimination has become part of Muslims attitude towards each other. In Europe or abroad in particular, you go to some masjids especially those dominated by the middle east brothers and sisters, they look at you as if you shouldn't be part of them. Some don't even stand shoulder to shoulder with you and they hardly ask for your wellbeing even if you missed some days absence to masjid. To even get them to mourn with you when you loose your relative is difficult for them just because of our colour.  Islam strictly rejects the whole notion of racism and condemns it to its very core. The religion of Islam stands on a solid foundation based on the concept of mutual love and brotherhood, which in essence, out rightly rejects discrimination based on color, race, ethnicity...

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 30th day of Dhul-Hijjah, 1444AH (Tuesday, 18th July, 2023). SO CALLED CHEATING WITHIN MARRIAGE. BismilLah.  For a husband or wife to form an illicit relationship with a non-mahram or non relative is not just cheating on his wife or husband, it is a sin against his own soul and an act of disobedience towards his Lord. ALLAAH has forbidden such relationships and has barred the ways that may lead to the greater form of immorality which is adultery (unlawful sexual relationships with someone other than our legal spouse). The forbidden acts which people commit when they have such relationships are many and include being alone with that person (khulwah), shaking hands with them, looking at them, etc. These are sins which are forbidden in the texts in and of themselves, and because of the sin of zina to which they may lead.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 29th day of Dhul-Hijjah, 1444AH (Monday, 17th July, 2023). SEEKING ISLAMIC KNOWLEDGE. BismilLah.  If you desire happiness, then seek out knowledge and apply the knowledge, and you will find that anxiety, depression, and grief will leave you." Let's avoid committing sins bcs sins only damage our relationship with ALLAH. Ibn Al-Qayyim ALLAH be pleased with him said "Sins remove the feeling of shame from a person so much so that the sinner finally doesn't care if people see him sinning or not." Open sins are worse than sins in hidden but note that fearing ALLAH in secrete is worth and more beloved to ALLAH. Let's strive to seek knowledge of our deen and apply it in our daily ways of life. With knowledge of been careful about disobedience of ALLAH we can only achieve success in life. May ALLAH protect us from any diseases. Aameen.

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 28th day of Dhul-Hijjah, 1444AH (Sunday, 16th July, 2023). UNITY AND SUCCESS LIES ON TTHE ROPE OF ALLAH. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in the Holy Qur'an chapter 3 verse 103 going that; وَاعْتَصِمُواْ بِحَبْلِ اللّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلاَ تَفَرَّقُواْ وَاذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَتَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاء فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىَ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ. And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of ALLAH (i.e. this Qur'an), and be not divided among yourselves, and remember ALLAH'S Favour on you, for you were enemies one to another but HE joined your hearts together, so that, by HIS Grace, you became brethren (in Islamic Faith), and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and HE saved you from it.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 27th day of Dhul-Hijjah, 1444AH (Saturday, 15th July, 2023). ISLAMIC TEACHINGS ON HOW TO TREAT OUR RELATIVES. BISMILLAH.  Islam gives great importance to the bonds of kinship and rights of relatives. ALLAH command us in the holy Qur’an to that at least 12 times in different verses. I will mention just a few. Aayah 90 of Surah Nahl says: “ALLAH enjoins justice, generosity and kind treatment with relatives…”   The third thing which has been enjoined is good treatment with one’s relatives. It means that one should not only treat relatives well, share their sorrows and pleasure and help them within lawful limits but should also share one’s wealth with them along with the rights of parents and immediate family. STEALING ELECTRICITY FROM THE STATE IF THE STATE DOES NOT GIVE CITIZENS THEIR BASIC RIGHTS IN ALL THINGS BismilLaah. Please note that, It is not permissible to steal electricity from the state, whether that is done by tinkering with the electricity meter, or by using tricks to avoid paying bills, or by any other means, because that involves cheating, deceiving and consuming people’s wealth unlawfully.  The fact that the state does not give the citizens their rights does not make it permissible to steal from the public wealth. These resources, such as electricity and other things, belong to the state as a whole, so stealing from them is a transgression against the public wealth, not only against the government and its employees.  ALLAH says:  “O you who believe! When we go through difficult times, when we have a financial loss, when we lose a loved one, when we struck by bad times, it brings out the real humanness in us, and we begin to ask the very questions that are most fundamental to us, “Why are we here?”, “What is the purpose of life”, “why me”, “What happened to all my plans and dreams, etc. We learn the frailty of our humanness. The Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “Look at the ones who are less fortunate than you, not at the ones that are more fortunate than you.” Hunger attracts food. Hunger is a spiritual experience, it is good for the soul, and food is an experience of the body. BismilLah.  Many of us seem to spend an incredible amount of time and energy chasing the dream job. Afterall, a bigger paycheck often translates into a better car, a bigger house and a higher worldly social status. Each of us is dreaming such big which also includes good beautiful wife, wealthy husband etc. But we are warned about this in The Qur’an where ALLAH says  *Alhaakumuttakaathur hatta zurtumulmaqaabir* “Rivalry in worldly increase distracts you (from the remembrance of ALLAH), till you come to the graves” (102: 1-2). “Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and ALLAH has with HIM a great reward.” (64:15).  Ever think of the results of all of your worldy efforts? ”It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.” (79:46).   THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 19th day of Dhul-Hijjah, 1444AH (Friday, 7th July, 2023). THE PROMISE OF ALLAH TO STRIVE FOR . BismilLah. ALLAH says in Qur'an 79:40-41 وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفۡسَ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَى. But as for him who feared standing before his Lord and forbade himself from unlawful desire. Verily Paradise will be his abode. meaning, he fears standing before ALLAH, he fears ALLAH'S judgment of him, he prevents his soul from following its unlawful desires, and he compels it to obey its Master. His final abode, his destination, and his place of return will be the spacious Paradise. ALLAHU AKBAR.   May ALLAH have mercy on all departed Muslims. Aameen. May ALLAH aid us to be able to abide by HIS laws, protect us from any satanic influences and grant us Paradise by HIS RAHMAH (MERCY). Aameen.

BismilLah.  Let's ask, who is the biggest victim of Satan (shaytan)? In the Qur’an, a lot of bad people are mentioned. Pharaoh comes in the second rank after Satan. What are the three names of ALLAH in the Surah? 1- Rabb An-Nas (Master of the people) 2- Malik An-Nas (King of the people) 3- Illah An-Nas (God of people). The Almighty ALLAH (The Most High) has mentioned what (Fir`awn) Pharaoh said about himself in the Qur’an: 1- “I am your most exalted Lord.” (An-Naziat 79:24). BismilLah.  It's a sad reality that some will do their utmost best to please  their bosses Because we want to earn money SubhaaAllah. Have we forgotten that ALLAH is ArRazzaaq?
