THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 8th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Sunday 1st January. 2023). CAN WE CELEBRATE NEW YEAR AS MUSLIMS. BismilLah.  Scholars have ruled based on QUR'AN and Sunnah that we Muslims cannot be part of any non Islamic celebrations such as the so called New Year Celebrations as we have our official Celebrations which are the Eid Celebrations.  We are warned by the Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam against emulating the kuffar and doing that can create lots of fitnah or risk to our eemaan. Their Celebrations involves zina at the night, drinking alcohol, free mixing of non relatives etc which are forbidden for us.  But if your non Muslim friend, relative, colleagues, etc says to you happy new year and pray for you, there is nothing wrong to say thank you and wish them well in their new year because we are allowed to make dua for them and we are allowed to be kind and do anything which may soften their hearts towards Islam. L...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Saturday 31st December. 2022). WILL I BE PUNISHED FOR NEGLECTING SUNNAH ACT?. BismilLah.  The word Sunnah has two meanings: the path of guidance, which is the meaning in many ahaadeeth, such as the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him): Whoever turns away from my Sunnah has nothing to do with me. Meaning if you intentionally choose to abandon sunnah acts of worship, you will be sinful and may end up been deviated to kufur by worldly satanic influences.  What the scholars of usool and fiqh call mustahabb (encouraged), are deeds for which the one who does them will be rewarded, but the one who does not do them will not deserve to be punished for that. Examples include al-Sunan al-Rawaatib (Sunnah prayers which the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) did regularly), Salaat al-Duhaa and so on. Therefore, a person will not be punished for not doing things whi...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 6th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Friday 30th December. 2022). STOP COMPLAINING AND GIVE  SADAQA EVEN IF BY SMILING. BismilLah. The last and Final Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “There is a (compulsory) Sadaqa (charity) to be given for every joint of the human body (as a sign of gratitude to ALLAH) every day that the sun rises. To judge justly between two persons is regarded as Sadaqa, and to help a man concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride it or by lifting his luggage onto it, is also regarded as Sadaqa, and (saying) a good word is also Sadaqa, and every step taken on one's way to offer the compulsory prayer (in the Masjid) is also Sadaqa and to remove a harmful thing from the way is also Sadaqa.” [Sahih Bukhari]. So you see, sadaqah is not just giving money. Appreciate what you've got from ALLAH and stop complaining to help you gain more from ALLAH.  Once a person came to an Alim (schola...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 4th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Wednesday 28th December. 2022). ATTENTION, ALLAH IS CALLING. BismilLah. O mankind! Worship your Lord (ALLAH), Who created you and those who were before you so that you may acquire Taqwa (ALLAH consciousness, by helping you to stay away from any form of disobedience to ALLAH).  ALLAH mentioned HIS Oneness in divinity and stated that HE has favoured HIS servants by bringing us to life after we did not exist. HE also surrounded us with blessings, both hidden and apparent In verse 22 ALLAH says; Who has made the earth a resting place for you, H...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 3rd day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Tuesday 27th December. 2022). PURIFICATION OF OUR HEARTS. BismilLah  One of the most beautiful, most soothing and most heartwarming moments you could have is when you realize how much ALLAH, The Most High, is protecting and taking care of your own heart. This is so much felt in Qur’anic verses where ALLAH (Al-Muqeet, The Nourisher) is telling us how HE wants us to speak to one another…Like here for an example: ” ... And speak to people good [words] …” (Qur’an 2: 83). The Arabic Aayah actually refers to good words as “husna” which also means beautiful. So ALLAH is instructing us to use not only good, but beautiful words with people. Note also here: “And tell My servants to say that which is best…” ( Qur’an 17: 53).  Here, HE is making us carefully think about each word we utter, so that we do not just speak our minds in a careless/rude way claiming that this is our spontaneous reaction. Ra...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 2nd day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Monday 26th December. 2022). FRIENDSHIP AND INFLUENCES. BismilLaah ALLAH the Exalted says in the Qur’an: “And (remember) the Day when the wrong-doer will bite his hands and say: Woe to me! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger. Woe to me! If only I had not taken so-so-and-so as a friend! He has led me astray from this Reminder (the Qur’an) after it had come to me. And Satan is ever a deserter to man in the hour of need.” Qur’an 25:27-29. So take heed before the inevitable Day comes when we are called to account for our actions. ALLAH, the All-Wise also says: “Friends on that Day will be enemies to one another, except al-Muttaqoon (i.e. those who have Taqwa).” Qur’an 43:67. The benefit of mixing with the righteous is immense, and it will, in shaa ALLAH, be even more obvious to us in the Hereafter. One of the early Muslims said that it is from ALLAH'S ’s blessings upon a youth when he turns to...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul ahad. 1st day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Sunday 25th December. 2022). SAY TO MANKIND, GOD, ALLAH IS ONE AND ONLY WITHOUT ANY SON OR SPOUSE. BismilLah.  When the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam declared that ALLAH had chosen him to become HIS Messenger for mankind,  the Jews said, `We worship Uzayr, the son of ALLAH,' and the Christians said, `We worship the Messiah (Isa), the son of ALLAH,' and the Zoroastrians said, `We worship the sun and the moon,' and the idolators said, `We worship idols,' WHO DO YOU WORSHIP? ALLAH revealed to HIS Messenger instantly through Angel Gabriel in Qur'an 122:1-4,  قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ Say to mankind: "HE is ALLAH, ONE and ONLY." meaning, HE is the ONE, the SINGULAR, Who has no peer, no assistant, no rival, no equal and none comparable to HIM. ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ  "This means the ONE Who all of the creation depends upon for their needs and their requests." لَمۡ يَلِدۡ وَلَم...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 30th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Saturday 24th December. 2022). TILL WE STRIVE TO BE UNITED OR RECONCILE AS MUSLIMS,  THE HUMILIATION WILL CONTINUE. BismilLah.  As the saying goes, ''Unity is Strength'' but unfortunately we have reduced Islam to rituals and forgotten other important tenets. Muslim unity is a Fard (obligatory duty) according to the Quran and the Traditions of the Prophet Mohamed (peace and blessings be upon him). Consider the following From the Quran (49:10): ''The Believers are but a single Brotherhood: So make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear ALLAH, that ye may receive Mercy. Also from the Quran (3:103): ''And hold fast, all together, by the rope which ALLAH (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves, and remember with gratitude God's favour on you; for ye were enemies and HE joined your hearts in love so that by HIS Grace, ye be...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 29th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Friday 23rd December. 2022). DECLARE WAR AGAINST YOUR SINS THROUGH GOOD DEEDS. BismilLah.  ALLAH in the Quran praised those who respond to evil with good deeds. Those who repel evil with good will find that their enemies will become their friends. ALLAH says: Not equal are the good deed and the bad deed. Repel evil by that which is better, and then the one who is hostile to you will become as a devoted friend. But none is granted it except those who are patient and none is granted it except one having a great fortune. Quran 41:34-35. Sheikh Ibn Abbas may ALLAH be pleased with him commented on this verse, saying: ALLAH commands the believers to be patient when they feel angry, to be forbearing when confronted with ignorance, and to forgive when they are mistreated. If they do this, ALLAH will save them from Satan and subdue their enemies to them until they become like close friends. Qur'an 41:34. AL...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 28th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Thursday 22nd December. 2022). PATIENCE IN SEEKING ALLAH'S MERCY AND FORGIVENESS. Bismillah. ALLAH tells us, and reinforces it with an oath to be patient in all we do and also encourages fellow Muslims to be patient in all affairs they find themselves,  ALLAH says 1.“By Al‑‘Asr (the time). 2. Verily, man is in loss, 3. Except those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth [i.e. order one another to perform all kinds of good deeds (Al‑Ma‘roof) which ALLAH has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds (Al‑Munkar) which ALLAH has forbidden], and recommend one another to patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries which one may encounter in ALLAH’s Cause during preaching HIS religion of Islamic Monotheism or Jihad)” [al-‘Asr 103].  ALLAH is always with those who are patient. ALLAH did not say in the Quran HE is wi...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 27th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Wesnesday 21st December. 2022). DO NOT CURSE OR ABUSE ANYONE. BismilLaah.  Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: وَلَعْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَقَتْلِهِ وَمَنْ رَمَى مُؤْمِنًا بِكُفْرٍ فَهُوَ كَقَتْلِهِ Cursing a believer is like killing him and charging a believer with unbelief is like killing him. Sahih Bukhari 5754. Abu Hurairah may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: لَا يَنْبَغِي لِصِدِّيقٍ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَعَّانًا It is not befitting the truthful that they curse others. Sahih Muslim 2597. Abdullah ibn Mas’ud said: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: لَيْسَ الْمُؤْمِنُ بِالطَّعَّانِ وَلَا اللَّعَّانِ وَلَا الْفَاحِشِ وَلَا الْبَذِيءِ The believer does not taunt others, he does not curse others, he does not use profanity, and he does not abuse others. Sunan At-Tir...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 26th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Tuesday 20th December. 2022). TO SIN IS NOT THE PROBLEM IN LIFE. BismilLah.  First of all, what was the difference between our grandfather Aadam (AS) and Iblis (The cursed Satan)? Aadam A.S, admitted his sin and asked forgiveness but Iblis was arrogant and said he was better than Aadam A.S. None of us is perfect, and because of this, we all make mistakes. In fact, even though the prophets never committed major sins, even they made mistakes. We learn this from the very start of the creation of man with Aadam Alayhi Salaam.  When Aadam A.S ate from the forbidden tree, he disobeyed ALLAH. But he was not the only one to disobey ALLAH. The shaytan, Iblis, also disobeyed ALLAH when ALLAH commanded him to bow down to Aadam but he refused. So, if they both did wrong, how did one become a great man and prophet, while the other became the greatest enemy of ALLAH? The difference was that Iblis was a...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 25th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Monday 19th December. 2022). ARE YOU FASTING TODAY?. Bismillah. Yes, I accept the blame if you forgot to fast today as I should have reminded you yesterday BUT you can continue as you read this as it's not too late even if you didn't intend for it.  Basically,  the purpose of fasting is to develop the quality of righteousness (taqwa), inwardly and outwardly, by abstaining from sinful deeds and training ourselves to control our thoughts and desires. Fasting is a deeply spiritual practice that is meant to benefit us in body, mind, and heart. O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you that you may become righteous. Quran  2:183. The word taqwa comes from the root meaning “to guard” and it is variously tran...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 24th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Sunday 18th December. 2022). THE SECRECY OF PRIVATE MATTERS (Guarding Secrets). BismilLah.  ALLAH, the Exalted, says: "And fulfil (every) covenant. Verily! The covenant will be questioned about.'' (17:34). Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (May ALLAH be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of ALLAH (PBUH) said, "One of The most evil of the people to ALLAH on the Day of Resurrection will be the man who consorts with his wife and then publicizes her secret.''[Saheeh Muslim]. Islam treats conjugal union as a sacred and secret act, both in social and moral terms. Indeed, the sanctity of conjugal rights contributes to the consolidation of moral norms and social cohesion. Yet, what passes between wife and husband on the consummation night is usually taken in a light vein in our societies. In the morning, both of them relate their sexual experience to their friends respectively. This is moral indecency ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 23rd day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Saturday 17th December. 2022). A SISTER NEEDED ANSWERS AS TO WHY SHE WAS STRUGGLING TO FIND A GOOD HUSBAND TO MARRY. BismilLah  First of all, before answering this question I would like to point out that all matters are in the hands of ALLAAH; no benefit comes and no harm is warded off except by HIS help. The One Who relieves distress is ALLAAH, so if anything befalls a person he or she must turn to ALLAAH and beseech HIM and call upon HIM, whether that has to do with attaining something desired or removing something disliked.  ALLAAH says: “And whatever blessings and good things you have, it is from ALLAAH. Then, when harm touches you, unto HIM you cry aloud for help” [al-Nahl 16:53].  Let's have patience and seek reward with ALLAAH. All you need to do is to be open-minded that you want to marry for ALLAH'S sake, and acting with patients is enough for ALLAH to hear your cry. Due to ignora...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 22nd day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Friday 16th December. 2022). *_JUMUAT KHUTBAH_*. BismilLah.  ALLAH commanded the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam in Qur'an 18:110 to say to Mankind, "I am only a man like you, to whom has been revealed that your LORD is ONE. So whoever would hope for the meeting with his LORD - let him do RIGHTEOUS WORK (in accordance with the prescribed laws of ALLAH,) and NOT ASSOCIATE in the worship of his Lord anyone." ALLAHU AKBAR.  This is what is meant by seeking the pleasure of ALLAH alone with no associate or partner. These are the two basic features of acceptable deeds: their intent is for the sake of ALLAH alone, and are done in accordance with the way of the Messenger of ALLAH. Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Sa`id bin Abi Fadalah Al-Ansari, who was one of the Companions, said: "I heard the Messenger of ALLAH say, ALLAH will gather the first and the last on the Day of Resurrection, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis. 21st day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Thursday 15th December. 2022). ALLAH ALONE DESERVES OUR WORSHIP BECAUSE HE ALONE CREATED US. BismilLah. Did I not command you, O Children of Aadam, that you should not worship Shaytan, Verily, he is a plain enemy to you. (This is a rebuke from ALLAH to the disbelievers among the sons of Aadam, those who are disobeying ALLAH and worshipping HIS creation and Messengers such as the worshipers of Jesus Christ alaihi salaam). ALLAH added by saying; وَأَنِ ٱعۡبُدُونِىۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ مُّسۡتَقِيمٌ  And that you should worship ME. That is the straight path. meaning, `I commanded you in the world to disobey the Shaytan, and I commanded you to worship ME, and this is the straight path, but you followed a different path and you followed the commands of the...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 20th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Wednesday 14th December. 2022). SOCIAL MEDIA CAN WEAKEN OUR EEMAAN. BismilLah.  For some time now, I've noticed how shaitan is deviating a lot of our brothers and sisters into an act of disobedience to ALLAH. Among the worse is to see Muslims watching and sharing pornographic images, videos of unnecessary jokes from TikTok/ Facebook etc into Islamic groups WHY? How can you be part of these satanic traps? Why are you sharing it with others if you decided to disobey ALLAH? For ALLAH'S sake, if you don't have anything good to do online, please close your Facebook/Tiktok account that's better because Facebook/Tiktok is now a jungle of the beast and they are hunting our eemaan down. Imagine you dying today and having those filthy things on your page in your grave, so please stay away from Facebook and other social networks if you are not using them to learn the deen. Stop sharing your photos an...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 19th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Tuesday 13th December. 2022). LET'S BE AWARE OF PROCRASTINATION, FOR IT IS ONE OF devil’s STRONGEST WEAPON. BismilLah. Many Jews and Christians at the time of the Prophet sallallahu  alaihi  wasallam contemplated joining Islam, but sheitan convinced them to procrastinate saying: “Do not rush, look more into the issue.” Until they died as non-Muslims. Some Muslims also delay doing good acts with the hope of having more time. Satan makes those seeking righteousness feel lazy, and he causes those who are serious to procrastinate. He convinces a jurist to rest instead of going over his lesson again. And convinces a worshipper who had woken up to pray at night that he still has a lot of time. Satan tries to make people lazy procrastinators and to make them have hope for a long life.  A disciplined person must take advantage of time, and never procrastinate. That which is feared can never ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 18th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Monday 12th December. 2022). RECONCILIATION AND HARMONY. BismilLah.  Imam An-Nawawi may ALLAH be pleased with him records in his book Riyad us-Saliheen: ALLAH the Exalted says: لَّا خَيْرَ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِّن نَّجْوَاهُمْ إِلَّا مَنْ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوْ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ إِصْلَاحٍ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ No good is there in much of their private conversation, except for those who enjoin charity or kindness or reconciliation between people. Surat An-Nisa 4:114. There are lots of such sayings from ALLAH such as Settlement is best. Surah An-Nisa 4:12. The believers are but brothers, so make reconciliation between your brothers and fear ALLAH that you may receive mercy. Surat Al-Hujurat 49:10.  As we read from what ALLAH says let's strive to forgive whoever has wronged us and reconcile for ALLAH's sake. We gain nothing aside from making satan happy. Call or text him or her now and say FOR ALLAH SAKE I've f...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 17th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Sunday 11th December. 2022). DANGERS OF OUR TVS IN THIS MONTH. BismilLah. There is no doubt that this month is among the worse moments to watch Television bcs it is been bombarded with lies against ALLAH and HIS MESSENGER EESAH Alaihi salaam (JesusChrist). Let's learn what ALLAH says Angrily in Suuratul Maryam verse 90-91 that bcs the Christians/Jews saying that ALLAH has begotten a son, or whenever someone says ALLAH has a son, ALLAH become angry to the extent of allowing the mountains and the sky to crash us on this earth. This is how serious it is for what Christmas is all about and some Muslims are ignorantly even offering gifts for their kufur statements/celebration and some are wasting their time watching this shirk entertainment on TV and wishing them merry Christmas Astaghfirullah. Yes, we can and should tolerate some things and be kind to Christians and other non-Muslims but when it comes to thei...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 16th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Saturday 10th December. 2022). ONLY ALLAH DESERVES OUR WORSHIP. BismilLah. In Quran 2:21, ALLAH says; O mankind! Worship your Lord (ALLAH), Who created you and those who were before you so that you may acquire Taqwa (Righteousness,  consciousness of ALLAH or Acting only to please ALLAH seeking HIS PARADISE). ALLAH mentioned HIS Oneness in divinity and stated that HE has favored HIS servants by bringing us to life after we did not exist. Allahu Akbar.  HE also surrounded us with blessings, both hidden and apparent. Which of the favours of ALLAH can we deny?  May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 15th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Friday 9th December. 2022). OUR RIGHTS TO EACH OTHER AS MUSLIMS. BismilLah.  Our beloved 4th Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A Muslim has six rights over another Muslim regarding good conduct: to greet him with peace when he meets him, to respond to his invitation, to respond to his sneeze, to visit him when he is sick, to follow his funeral prayer when he dies, and to love for him what he loves for himself. Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2736. Among the rights of a Muslim over another Muslim are that he covers his faults, forgives his mistakes, has mercy for his errors, overlooks his missteps, rejects his backbiting, always gives him sincere advice, preserves his good traits, guards his covenants, answer his invitations, accept his guidance, repay his gifts, show gratitude for his favours, assist him in the b...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis. 14th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Thursday 8th December. 2022). ALWAYS REMEMBER THE FIRST COMMAND OF ALLAH. BismilLah. Most of us know by heart the very first words that were revealed from the Qur’an to Noble Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). But sometimes we don’t reflect deep enough on the major life changing message that it contains. The circumstances of revealing those verses relate so much to the state that many people find themselves in today. This is the state of seeking meaning, seeking answers, clarity, purpose and direction. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him) had a very good and comfortable life. He had an honourable wife whom he loved dearly, he had children, he had a good job, he was well respected in his community… he had a very successful and stable life.  But something was missing. Something big was missing and it was aching his heart and he needed answers, he needed clarity, he needed mean...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 13th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Wednesday 7th December. 2022). HOW STRONG IS OUR LOVE FOR ALLAH. BismilLah.  There are so many things and people in our lives that hold a place in our heart. This can include parents, spouses, children, our home, and our wealth. We love these people and objects, and each time we have something new to love, we give that thing or person a part of our heart. We should always be sure, however, that the most significant amount of love we have is our love of ALLAH. This means that while we love many other things, we should never replace the love of ALLAH with anything else. This is because if we love anything or anyone else the way we should only love ALLAH, it will never satisfy us and we will never feel content. ALLAH says in the Quran, “Verily, in the remembrance of ALLAH do the hearts find rest/peace.” [Quran 13:28] Unless we are remembering ALLAH, our hearts will not be at ease. Be it a loved one or a...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 12th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Tuesday 6th December. 2022). WHO ARE  YOUR ROLE MODELS?. BismilLah.  Let's Look at the way some admire the so-called  "stars"   Footballers , Musicians, Actors and Actresses but SOME of these are the people who do not have modesty, no shyness, no fear of ALLAH (GOD) but very, unfortunately, unfortunately they have become role model for many Muslims. Whatever they say or do is the best. This reminds me of one hadeeth of our beloved Prophet peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him, who said a time will come...... And a man will be admired for his intelligence, manners  and strength, though indeed he will not have belief equal to a mustard seed in his heart."  Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 6497 (To make the Heart Tender (Ar-Riqaq) In-book reference: Book 81, Hadith 86. The people we see and admire to be intelligent and cool, are the unwise because ALLAH says about thos...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 11th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Monday 5th December. 2022). DO NOT BELITTLE YOURSELF. BismilLah.  As Muslims, we are required to encourage goodness and forbid badness. If anyone around you regardless of his or her status disobeys ALLAH and HIS Messenger in any way, it's part of our duty to speak to such person with wisdom and based on the knowledge of Islam, by reminding them of what ALLAH and HIS Messenger have said against such act. Don't be quiet bcs you will lose your pocket money for the day :). Our sustenance comes from ALLAH and ALLAH is Sufficient for us, speak out the truth and ALLAH will do the rest for you. If you know speaking or saying the truth can cause you harm or you have no knowledge of how to present your advice then hate the disobedience in your heart not the person and make dua for ALLAH to guide them and forgive them and if possible, find a respected elder to talk to such person.  Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 10th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Sunday 4th December. 2022). SOME REASONS FOR THE PUNISHMENT IN THE GRAVE OR WHEN WE DIE. Bismillah.  Let's continue with our topic yesterday; Those who will be punished before the judgement day include a man who read Qur'an then slept at night and did not act upon it by the day may be punished. Adulterers and adulteresses who could not repent before dying may be punished. The one who consumes riba is punished in al-Barzakh, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) testified.  Some will graze on al-daree’ and al-zaqqoom (horrid types of food in Hell) because they withheld the zakaah of their wealth. Some will eat putrid, rotten meat because of their zina. Some will have their lips cut off with iron scissors because they caused fitnah (fighting, civil war) with their words and their speech. According to the hadeeth of Abu Sa’eed, those who committed these crimes without repentance...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 9th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Saturday 3rd December. 2022). SOME REASONS FOR THE PUNISHMENT IN THE GRAVE OR WHEN WE DIE CONTINUES. Bismillah.  Let's continue with the reminder yesterday.  The Prophet (Sallalahu alaihi wasallam) told us about two men whom he noticed being punished in their graves. One of them used to walk around spreading malicious gossip among people, and the other failed to take precautions to avoid getting urine on himself. So the latter failed to purify himself as required, and the former did something that creates enmity among people by talking, even if what he says is true. Thus it may be noted that the one who stirs up enmity by telling lies and making false statements will be punished even more. Failing to keep oneself clean from urine indicates that the one who neglects prayer, for which cleansing oneself from urine is a requirement and condition will be punished even more.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 8th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Friday 2nd December. 2022). SOME REASONS FOR THE PUNISHMENT IN THE GRAVE OR WHEN WE DIE. Bismillah. Our Sheikhs have written based on Quran and Sunnah that there are many reasons for which people may be punished in their graves or after their death however they died, buried or not, which Ibn al-Qayyim (may ALLAH have mercy on him) listed and said: Some people may wonder about the reasons for which people may be punished when they die.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Thursday 1st December. 2022). OBEDIENCE TO ALLAH SUPERSEDE ANY CREATION. BismilLah.  The Messenger to Mankind Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam said in an authentic hadith that “there is no obedience to the creation in disobedience to The Creator (ALLAH). This short hadith basically means The right of The Creator takes precedence over the rights of the creation. So when anyone from the creation enjoins you to commit any act of disobedience, then obedience to them in that specific matter is actually disobedience to ALLAH, whereas disobedience to them in that specific matter is obedience to ALLAH. ALLAH (subhanahu wa ta’aala) says: …Help you one another in Al-Birr and At-Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. Quran 5:2. The right of the parents upon their children is so great that ALLAH often mentions obedience to parents immediately afte...
