THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 13th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Wednesday 7th December. 2022). HOW STRONG IS OUR LOVE FOR ALLAH. BismilLah.

There are so many things and people in our lives that hold a place in our heart. This can include parents, spouses, children, our home, and our wealth. We love these people and objects, and each time we have something new to love, we give that thing or person a part of our heart.

We should always be sure, however, that the most significant amount of love we have is our love of ALLAH.

This means that while we love many other things, we should never replace the love of ALLAH with anything else. This is because if we love anything or anyone else the way we should only love ALLAH, it will never satisfy us and we will never feel content.

ALLAH says in the Quran, “Verily, in the remembrance of ALLAH do the hearts find rest/peace.” [Quran 13:28]

Unless we are remembering ALLAH, our hearts will not be at ease.

Be it a loved one or a material object, we will constantly be in worry about it or disappointed because of it. This is because the happiness we are seeking from that beloved one or thing can only be granted by ALLAH. By loving the creation in that way, we forget that ALLAH is the only One who can help us and grant us happiness.

So yes, while you should love your family members, and you can hold material objects close to your heart, just be sure not to let the love of the Creator be taken by any of the CREATION. Save that for ALLAH and ALLAH alone so that HE may love you and grant you happiness and contentment in this life and the

next in shaa ALLAH.

As ALLAH mentions, “And [yet], among the people are those who take other than ALLAH as equals [to HIM]. They love them as they [should] love ALLAH. But those who believe are stronger in love for ALLAH.” [Quran 2:165]

May ALLAH fill our heart with the love of HIM, and may you be among those HE loves as well. May ALLAH remove all sorrow and grief from our hearts, and fill them with happiness and contentment always. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 30th day of Rajab 1446AH, Thursday. 30th Jan. 2025). MEANING OF ALLAH CREATING HUMANS IN HIS OWN IMAGE.  BismilLah. Unfortunately, other faiths have made a serious mistake in trying to compare The CREATOR, ALLAH Azzawajal with HIS Creation human beings in physical appearance, and that's blasphemy and serious error  Sheikh AbuAmina, in one of his articles, explained that, in Islam, we believe that all people have been created in the “image” of ALLAH Azzawajal. But what does this mean? ALLAH Azzawajal is the creator of everything, including all people. That people are in the “image of ALLAH Azzawajal” means they are in the form that HE, ALLAH Azzawajal has chosen and honored for them, not that they resemble ALLAH Azzawajal in physical appearance or share in the Divine Essence. Just as we say a righteous person is the “servant of ALLAH” and a mosque is the “house of ALLAH” as a way to honor them, likewise is it an added dignity for pe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat and Yaumul Aashuura. 10th day of Muharram, 1445AH (Friday, 28th July, 2023). SPECIAL EID DAY FOR US ALL. BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah to you all. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Today mark the day when ALLAH granted Musah alayhi salaam victory over Fir'awn. Today mark the day ALLAH humiliated HIS worse enemy on earth Fir'awn for his disbelief in ALLAH and claiming he was ALLAH. We are all fasting on this blessed day seeking forgiveness from ALLAH for our sins from last year till date as the Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam recommended.  Those who are unable to fast can still do much to earn lots of rewards especially our sisters and daughters in their monthly cycle. You can recite lots of azkaar and give sadaqah with your intention to seek forgiveness from ALLAH. Please remember today is Friday lets strive to go to Masjid early and also remember to send salutations to our...
