LET’S BE MINDFUL OF SHEITAN.  BismilLah.  The foundation of Islam is the belief in the Oneness of GOD(ALLAH), having no partner, equal, son or rivals. Conversely, the greatest sin is to ascribe partners or equals with ALLAH as many Christians does which then nullifies their beliefs in Jesus Christ peace be upon him. Thus, tempting mankind into disbelief is Satan’s main focus. However, if Satan cannot mislead people to commit clear acts of disbelief, he resorts to more subtle means, such as the belief in superstitions, good luck charms, astrology and fortune telling, fake miracles etc. Such beliefs contradict the fact that ALLAH alone has power and knowledge over all things, and is the ONLY ONE Who can bring BENEFIT or HARM.  Innovation in the Religion of Islam is another trap of Sheitaan to deviate us.  “...I have perfected for you your religion...”Qur’an ...

As human beings, each of us has a shortcomings. Whoever acknowledges that he or she has shortcomings has started on the path to self-discipline. This acknowledgement is one of the things that make us discipline ourselves and be persistent in doing so and seeking forgiveness regularly. This acknowledgement should not put you off disciplining yourself. It is a sign of ALLAAH’s care when a person tries to change himself and develop, as ALLAAH says:  “Verily, ALLAAH will not change the condition of a people as long as they do not change their state themselves”[al-Ra’d 13:11]. BismilLah This is a true story to boost our eemaan/faith in our Creator ALLAH.  An Imam was struggling to prepare his Friday sermon and didn't want to be disturbed by his five year old daughter, so he removed a map of the world from his study room, tore it into pieces and gave it to her to assemble where each continent or country should be as it was on the map with the promise that he would answer all her questions and play with her when she was done. BismilLah.  Arguments over issues in the religion of Islam should be avoided as much as possible. Disputing and debating theological, legal, or historical matters will often lead to the hardening of hearts, bad feelings, and even hatred. As such, the Prophet has warned us that the nations before us went astray due to their indulgence in argumentation. Let's avoid any form of argument especially with other sects etc. Let's share our authentic knowledge with them and make dua for Allah to guide them and keep guiding us all.  Our beloved Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, his family and companions said: مَا ضَلَّ قَوْمٌ بَعْدَ هُدًى كَانُوا عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا أُوتُوا الْجَدَلَ No people go astray after being guided except that they indulge in arguments. As Muslims we all know our weapon for success is through zikir and dua. On daily basis after praising ALLAH and salaat alan Nabi, please recite these dua as part of your regularly duas you recite. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) thought his companions the dua to say regularly seeking ALLAH to help them pay off their debts and also seeking from  ALLAH for general financial help. The dua is  "Allaahumma akfinii bi halaalika ‘an haraamika wa aghninii bi fadlika ‘amman siwaaka (O ALLAH, suffice me with what You have permitted so that that I have no need of that which You have forbidden, and make me independent of means by Your bounty so that I have no need of anyone besides You).’” Saheeh al-Tirmidhi 3563.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 26th day of Muharram 1444AH. (Wednesday, 24th of August 2022). WHAT IS THE WISDOM BEHIND TAWAAF (circumambulating) THE KAABA? BismilLaah. As Muslims we don't do anything as we wish. We follow the commands of ALLAH (As-Sabur, The Patient), the Creator, HIS Messenger or consensus of scholars base on Qur'an and Sunnah. Even how to sleep, drink, eat, talk, walk etc must be in accordance with Sunnah. Similarly, Circumambulating the Kaaba is part of the command of ALLAH (Al-‘Afuww, The Pardoner, The Effacer of Sins) through HIS Messenger and it represents the idea of oneness. BismilLah.  A rich man looking through his window and seeing a poor man picking something from his dustbin may say, Thank YOU ALLAH I'm not poor. A poor man looking around and seeing a naked man misbehaving on the street ... May say, Thank YOU ALLAH I'm not mad. A mad man looking ahead and seeing an ambulance carrying a patient may say Thank  YOU ALLAH am not sick. BismilLah.  ALLAAH has commanded us to lower our gaze and has forbidden us to look at women because of the great evil and mischief that result from that. For looking is the harbinger of zina (unlawful sexual relationships), ALLAAH forbid. Hence it says in the hadeeth that ALLAAH has decreed for the son of Aadam his share of zina, which will inevitably catch up with him, and the zina of the eyes is looking, the zina of the tongue is speaking; the heart wishes and hopes and the private parts confirm that or deny it.” [Narrated by al-Bukhaari, al-Qadar, 6122]. BismilLah.  In an authentic hadith, Anas bin Malik reported that the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was told on the day of the battle of Uhud by the hypocrites that, "Verily, the enemies have gathered against you in great numbers well armed, therefore, fear them." Back to our topic.  The purpose of fasting is not just physical training to endure hunger, thirst and exhaustion to appreciate what the less privileged people go through; it is also disciplining the ego to relinquish the loved for the sake of the beloved.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 19th day of Muharram 1444AH. (Wednesday, 17th of August 2022). UNLAWFULLY EARNED MONEY IS LIKE WASHING YOUR DIRTY CLOTHES WITH WINE or ALCOHOL. BismilLah.  Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “If a man earns by sinful acts and gives it in charity or an act of kindness or spends it in the way of ALLAH, ALLAH will throw him into Hell after collecting everything.” [From the book Ihya Ulum Id-Din by Imam Ghazali, ALLAH be please with him and forgive his sins. Aameen).  A charitable person only pleases ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) if he performs charity for the sake of ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) with halaal income.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 18th day of Muharram 1444AH. (Tuesday, 16th of August 2022). The ultimate reward of PATIENCE. BismilLah.  ALLAH exhorts HIS slaves to seek help with patience and prayer when facing calamities that may befall a person. ALLAH says “And seek help in patience and As-Salaah (the prayer) and truly, it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khaashi‘oon [i.e. the true believers in ALLAH, those who obey ALLAH with full submission, fear much from HIS punishment, and believe in HIS Promise (Paradise) and in HIS Warnings (Hell)]”Quran 2:54. ALLAH states that the victory of attaining Paradise and being saved from Hell will be won only by those who are patient, as HE says “Verily, I have rewarded them this Day for their patience; they are indeed the ones that are successful” 23:111. AlhamdulilLah.  May ALLAH (Al-Hayyu and Al-Qayyuum, The Living and the Maintainer of Life) have mercy on us and ease our test in life Aameen.

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 17th day of Muharram 1444AH. (Monday, 15th of August 2022). HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W), said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH will make it easy for him in the world and the Hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH will conceal his faults in the world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2699. SOME PRACTICAL WAYS TO STOP WATCHING PORNOGRAPHY and COMMITTING ZINA.  BismilLah.  First of all, Ask ALLAH, The Source of Light to purify you and reclaim the light back in your heart, mind and soul. Seek forgiveness regularly such as reciting Laailaaha illaa Anta Astaghfiruka wa atuubu ilaika. Yaa Hayyu yaa qayyuum biRahmatika astaqeeth meaning Oh ALLAH there is none worthy of worship except you. You are the living and maintainer of life so with your Mercy I seek your help.  Try at least for a week to unfollow and disconnect from all the content that you know is immoral and impure. BismilLah.  Summary of how the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) used to perform the ghusul base on various authentic narrations: First Intend by heart to perform ghusul. Wash your private parts properly so that you don't need to touch them during the ghusul. Start your ghusul in the name of the creator by saying (Bismillah) silently but audible to your hearing. Perform wudhu as normal for salaat. Pour water over the head with minimum 3 both hands full of water or with shower, massaging the hair to allow the water to reach its roots. Let's note something ALLAH (Al-Ahad, The One, the All Inclusive, The Indivisible) says from the beginning of Suuratul Baqarah. ALLAH (As-Samad, The Self Sufficient) says Zaalikal Kitaabu LaaRayba Feeh HUDAN LIL MUTTAQEEN. Basically means, The Quran you've been waiting for has arrived and it is a GUIDANCE for those who decide to believe and follow it. The wisdom behind the word Hudan is beautiful Allahu Akbar. If your character is negative, you have the power and the choice to do what it takes to alter it. The greatest power we have as human beings is the power of choice.Almighty ALLAH says in Quran [76:3]“HE has shown us the way to be either grateful or ungrateful.” This is simply about choice, either to be thankful and turn towards the way of ALLAH or being ungrateful and turning towards your own heart desires. Hospital, Prison and Cemetery. At the Hospital, you will understand that nothing is more beautiful than HEALTH. In the Prison, you'll see that FREEDOM is the most precious thing. At the Cemetery, you will realize that life is worth nothing. The ground that we walk today will be our roof tomorrow. We all came with Nothing and we will go with Nothing... Let us, therefore, remain humble and be thankful & grateful to ALLAH at all times for everything. Your main purpose in life is to worship ALLAH seeking Paradise as your main goal.  May ALLAH, AL-GHANIYY (The Self-Sufficient, The Wealthy) keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 11th day of Muharram 1444AH. (Tuesday, 9th of August 2022). OUR ROLE WHEN PROVIDING ADVICE. BismilLah.  As human beings, no one is perfect. We all make mistakes especially against ALLAH and to others. This advice is first of all to myself then to you the reader. I fell guilty when preparing this reminder but in Islam we must speak the truth even if it is against ourselves hoping that through that ALLAH can guide us from our errors and mistakes in life.  When correcting others, let's choose words that aim to “advise” rather than condemn, demean, or punish the other. Avoid correcting the other person when your emotions are running high. If your intent is to see longer term behavior change in the other person without hurting your relationship, save the advice for future when you are more in control of your emotions. MY WIFE IS TOO DEMANDING, HOW DO I HANDLE HER, CAN I DIVORCE HER IF I CANNOT AFFORD HER FINANCIAL DEMANDS?. BismilLah.  The wife has no right to mistreat her husband by asking him for too much and expecting him to exhaust himself in spending on her; that is bad treatment indeed. Perhaps if you grant her some of her reasonable requests and remind her, gently and tactfully, of the requests that you have fulfilled, you may be able to lessen her anger somewhat and persuade her to stop asking for more. You could also discuss with her, quietly and without resorting to arguing, how important her requests really are and how necessary it is to keep a certain amount for things that are more important, like paying the rent and so on. It's my hope that majority of us are fasting from today for ALLAHsake. May ALLAH accept it from us all.  ALLAH, the Exalted, says: "Do not render in vain your Sadaqah (charity) by reminders of your generosity or by injury, like him who spends his wealth to be seen of men.'' (2:264). Abu Hurairah (May ALLAH be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Almighty ALLAH says, `I am the One Who is most free from want of partners. He who does a thing for the sake of someone else beside ME, I discard him and his polytheism..''[by Imam Muslim]. This hadith basically means not to do something virtuous for mere show for worldly benefit, or to gain the reputation of being pious else ALLAH will nullify the good deeds and deprive such person of the reward.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 8th day of Muharram 1444AH. (Saturday, 6th of August 2022). ALLAH IS AL-FATTAH. BismilLah.  AL-FATTAAH means, The Opener, The Judge. The One who opens all the doors of Opportunities, profit and sustenance to HIS slaves/servants. The gate of the solution of every difficut can be easily opened by HIM. HE makes clear what is unclear. Al-Fattaah is the One who judges between HIS slaves with perfect justice. ALLAH, Al-Fattah sends solutions when we least expect it.  Some matters may seem like dilemmas at first. Yuusuf alayhi salaam was imprisoned. But it was through the imprisonment that he  became the Minister.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 7th day of Muharram 1444AH. (Friday, 5th of August 2022). HOW ARE YOU SAVING FOR YOUR NEXT LIFE?. BismilLah. The Mighty ALLAH and HIS Messenger Prophet Muhammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam has encouraged/recommended us to be wise and invest for our hereafter instead of chasing this temporary place of abode for our body. It's so scary that we don't know when we will die but yet we keep on spending time accomulating wealth on wealth instead of saving for our real future eternal home, the hereafter.  ALLAH says to the nearest meaning; “O you who believe! Spend of that with which I, ALLAH have provided for you, before a Day comes when there will be no bargaining, nor friendship, nor intercession. And it is the disbelievers who are the Zaalimoon (wrongdoers)” [al-Baqarah 2:254]. THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 6th day of Muharram 1444AH. (Thursday, 4th of August 2022). WHY IS WUDUU(Ablution) SO IMPORTANT. BismilLah.  Wuduu(Ablution) is so important even in terms of health because it cleans the organs that are exposed to dirtiness and that are always in contact with things outside like hands, face, mouth, teeth, nose, head and feet. The ways through which microbes could penetrate the body are cleaned at least five times a day Alhamdulillah; thus, many diseases are prevented; the nervous system and the circulatory system of the body then functions better. Wuduu actually eliminates anger and calms the spirit. Therefore, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) advised a person who becomes angry to make wuduu. (Abu Dawud, Adab, 3; Musnad, 4/226) Wuduu is a spiritual weapon of a believer and a spiritual shield against invisible dangers. Alhamdulillah.  A Muslim who makes wuduu is purified and cleaned from both material and spiritual impurities...

BismilLah.  Jabir ibn Abdullah narrated that ALLAH'S  Messenger salallahu alayhi wasallam said, “On the Day of Resurrection, when people who have suffered affliction on earth are given their reward, those who were always healthy will wish their skins had been cut to pieces with scissors when they were in the world.” (Al-Tirmidhi, 1570).  SubhanAllah, whatever pain we suffer in this life is not in vain as Muslims. It is not wasted. ALLAH the Most High has a plan for us, and HE is the best of planners. We must have faith in HIM and HIS plan for us.  We ask ALLAH, AL-GHAFFAR (The All- and Oft-Forgiving) to have mercy on us all and forgive our sins. Aameen.

BismilLah.  Our beloved messenger of ALLAH (Al-Muhaymin, The Guardian, The Preserver, The Overseeing Protector) said in an authentic narration that  everyone is going to regret after his death, a believer or a disbeliever. A believer will regret because he wish he could have done more of the good deeds so that his reward will be much more to be among those in Jannat who are above him in rank and the disbeliever will regret because of the heap of punishment that he will be undergoing. Each of these category will wish they are giving the opportunity to come back to this world to either do something more or do something different.  when we die we will wish we are giving the chance to have another few hours more, so that we can recite the Quran more, Offer more sunnah salat, Do daawah to disbelievers and remind fellow Muslims ab...
