DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 29th day of Ramadhan. (Saturday, 30th of April, 2022). ALL WE NEED TO KNOW AND PREPARE FOR EIDUL FITIR. BismilLah.    EID-UL-FITR is celebrated on the first day of Shaw'waal, at the completion of RAMADHAN which is likely to be Sunday or Monday subject to moon sightings tonight or not in Shaa ALLAH. Shaw'waal is the 10th month of the Islamic calendar. The Eid-al-Fitr is a very joyous day; it is a true Thanksgiving Day for the believing men and women. On this day we Muslims show our real joy for the health, strength and the opportunities of life, which ALLAH has given to us to fulfill our obligation of fasting and other good deeds during the blessed month of Ramadhan.  On the eid day please wake up early.  Prepare for personal cleanliness, take care of details of clothing, etc. Take a Ghusl (Islamic bath). Brush your teeth. Dress up, putting on best clothes available, whether new or cleaned old ones. Use perf...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Jumuat, 28th day of Ramadhan. (Friday, 29th of April, 2022). LAYLATUL QADR MAY STILL YET TO COME DON'T RELAX AND MISS IT. BismilLah.  Are you one of those making this mistake? Many of us tend to give our maximum efforts on only the odd nights especially on the 27th night of Ramadan, and from the 28th they relax and some may not do any act of worship believing LaylatulQadar had come and gone. Thats a huge error of Judgement. It may still be tonight or tomorrow tonight so don’t relax please.  The Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam said: “I came out to tell you when Laylat al-Qadr was, and So and so and So and so were arguing, so it [the knowledge of when Laylat al-Qadr was] was taken away from me. Perhaps this is better for you...” [al-Bukhari 1919]. The fact of the matter is that no one can be certain about Laylat al-Qadr so let's keep striving till the Moon is confirmed sighted. Please remember today is Friday.   May ALLAH...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Al-Khamis, 27th day of Ramadhan. (Thursday, 28th of April, 2022). ZAKAAT AL-FITR EXPLAINED. BismilLah.  Our scholars have explained based on the Qur'an and Sunnah of our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam that the amount of Zakaatul Fitir is the same for everyone regardless of their different income brackets. The minimum amount is one Sa` (two handfuls) of food such as grain or dried fruit for each member of the family. This calculation is based on Ibn `Umar's report that the Prophet (peace be upon him) made Zakah al-Fitr compulsory and payable by a Sa` of dried dates or a Sa` of barley. The Sahabi, Abu Sa`id al-Khudri said, "In the Prophet's time, we used to give it (Zakah al-Fitr) as a Sa` of food, dried dates, barley, raisins or dried cheese". [Collected by Imam al-Bukhari - Arabic/English vol. 2, p. 340, no. 582 ]. You can also use Rice, Maize, wheat etc.  The father is responsible to give on behalf of his wif...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Arba'a, 26th day of Ramadhan. (Wednesday, 27th of April, 2022). PURPOSE OF ZAKAATUL FITIR. Bismillah. The main purpose of Zakah al-Fitr is to provide those who fasted with the means of making up for their errors during the month of fasting. Zakah al-Fitr also provides the poor with a means with which they can celebrate the festival of breaking the fast (`Eid al-Fitr) along with the rest of the Muslims. Ibn Abbas reported, "The Prophet (peace be upon him) made Zakah al-Fitr compulsory so that those who fasted may be purified of their idle deeds and shameful talk (committed during Ramadan) and so that the poor may be fed. Whoever gives it before Salah will have it accepted as Zakah, while he who gives it after the Salah has given Sadaqah." [Collected by Imam Abu Dawud - Eng. transl. vol. 2, p. 421, no. 1605]. Hence, the goal of Sadaqah al-Fitr is the spiritual development of the Believers. By making us give up some of our wealth, the believer...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 25th day of Ramadhan. (Tuesday, 26th of April, 2022). LET'S STRIVE TO PERFECT OUR ACTS OF WORSHIP AS THE QUANTITY HAS NO REWARDS WITHOUT KHUSHOO (Steadfastness). BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of these blessed days and nights of Ramadhan. Because these last days are so special, many people make the mistake of just praying rak’ah upon rak’ah, making du’a upon du’a, and reciting more and more Quran, all without any khushoo, without any involvement of the heart, and without focusing on anything they are reciting. Yes, all of those acts of worship are good and should be done, however, rather than just focusing on how much of those things we are doing, we should reflect on how we are doing them as well. It is narrated that once the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was in the masjid and saw a man praying. When the man finished, the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam informed him that he had n...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum al-ithnayn, 24th day of Ramadhan. (Monday, 25th of April, 2022). LET'S BE STEADFAST IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS AS STEADFASTNESS IS THE WAY TO PARADISE. BismilLaah.   Istiqaama (steadfastness) in Islam is a basic requirement for every Muslim. We are required to be steadfast in all good deeds without any laziness. Those who do that enjoys what ALLAH promised in  Suuratul Fussilat (41): 30-32. Read for yourself to see how beautiful this promise of ALLAH is.  Among them is our salaat and it's timing. As soon as you finish offering your fajir you start programing yourself for zuhur wherever you maybe. Striving to please your parents, supporting any charitable activities. Visiting the sick. Helping fellow Muslims in need especially the orphans. Striving to obey ALLAH and ignore any satanic influences. Making dua regularly towards ALLAH'S protection etc. The next few days may be crucial towards our success this month in shaa ALLAH or fail...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Ahad, 23rd day of Ramadhan. (Sunday, 24th of April, 2022). KEEP SEEKING OUT LAYLATUL QADR (Night of Power). BismilLah.  So valuable is this Night of Qadr that the Quran devotes a special surah to it “Lailatul Qadr is better than a thousand months” [97:3] This one night surpasses the value of 30,000 nights. The most authentic account of the occurrence of the Night indicates that it can occur on any one of the last ten, odd numbered nights of Ramadhan. We should strive to stay up at least some hours before fajir set in these last few days left because if we pray on these nights then surely we would have caught this most powerful night if not gone already and this would mean we would have a reward of 83 YEARS OF WORSHIP and our sins forgiven! I will never advice anyone to rely only on certain nights in worship at night else you end up missing this great night. Taraweeh, Tahajjud, Qiyaamullaiy are all sunnah with little difference between the...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum As-Sabt, 22nd day of Ramadhan. (Saturday, 23rd of April, 2022). LET'S STRIVE HARD SEEKING LAYLATUL QADAR. BismilLah.  Many people make the mistake and only strive hard in their prayers, du’a, tawbah and charity on the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadhan. While it’s true that there is a bigger chance of Laylat al-Qadr being in the odd nights, it is fully possible for it to be in one of the even nights!  Ibn ‘Umar RA told us that the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said: “Seek Laylat al-Qadr in the last ten days of Ramadhan.”  [Muslim, 2/823] This night is so great that if you stand in prayer this night, all of your sins will be forgiven! Our sisters in their monthly cycle should also wakeup and strive to seek laylatul Qadar through zikir. Dont go to the masjid, just dress decently and sit in your room to recite your zikir. May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and grant us Laylatul Qadar by HIS MERCY. Aameen.
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Jumuat, 21st day of Ramadhan. (Friday, 22nd of April, 2022). MAY ALLAH GRANT US LAYLATUL QADAR. AAMEEN. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah for guiding us into the last 10 days of Ramadhan. I'm certain no one needs to be informed of the importance of these days ahead of us. Don’t focus on only certain nights searching for laylatul qadar. Focus on all the last nights till end of Ramadhan so that you dont miss out.  Lets make dua our priority especially those the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam thought us to focus seeking laylatul Qadar such as Allaahumma Innaka Afuwwon Tuhibbul Affwa FAafu Anni  Oh ALLAH! You are most forgiving, you love to forgive, so please forgive me. Another important dua to focus on is RABBANA HABB LANAA MIN AZWAAJINAA WA DHURRIYYATINAA QURRATA A’YUNIN WAJ’ALNA LILMUTTAQINA IMAAMAN “Our Lord! Bless us ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Al-Khamis, 20th day of Ramadhan. (Thursday, 21st of April, 2022). GIVING SINCERE SADAQAH AND ITS EFFECTS ON OUR LIFE. BismilLaah. Sadaqah is a means of gaining baraqah(blessings) on our wealth or income. It may be hard for us to give sadaqah when we are barely able to make ends meet. However, if we truly trust in ALLAH, we will give from the little we have to our relatives in particular with intention of gaining baraqah on our income as ALLAH promised in Quran 2:261 as ALLAH says; The parable of those who spend their wealth in the way of ALLAH, is that of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. This is a parable that ALLAH made of the multiplication of rewards for those who spend in HIS cause, seeking HIS pleasure. ALLAH multiplies the good deed ten to seven hundred...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Arba'a, 19th day of Ramadhan. (Wednesday, 20th of April, 2022). KULLU NAFSIN....?. BismilLah.  All of us will die sooner or later, but the serious question remains as to HOW? In a state where ALLAH is pleased with us or where HE is displeased? ALLAH says: “ Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: “My Lord! Send me back”. (Quran, 23:99). Why does he want to be sent back to this world? Is it to live longer? Is it to earn more money? Definitely NO. The answer is: “ So that I may act righteously in that (world) which I have left behind…” But is it possible to come back after death? “… Never! It is simply a word he utters, and behind them is a barrier till the day when they will be resurrected.” (Quran, 23:100) Alhamdulillah! You and I are still alive, and we have the opportunity to do good deeds and act righteously. Let’s not delay that lest we meet the same fate stated in those verses. One lives only once, and there is no way back to ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 18th day of Ramadhan. (Tuesday, 19th of April, 2022). ALLAH'S ASSURANCE IS CERTAIN. BismilLah.  ALLAH, Praised be HIS Name, says: “ So ALLAH answered his prayer and rescued him from anguish. And so do ALLAH save the believers.” (Quran, 21:88). The context of this verse is the story of Prophet Yunus (peace be upon him), who was swallowed by a sea creature and he called on ALLAH for help. ALLAH answered his prayer rescued him, and ALLAH promised that HE would do the same for the believers. The dua of Prophet Yunus (peace be upon him) was very important for our beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) which was; لَآ إِلٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّيْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ Laa ilaaha illaa ANTA subḥaanaka innii kuntu minaẓ-ẓwaalimiin. ‘None has the right to be worshipped but YOU, Glorified (and Exalted) be YOU! Truly, I have been of the wrongdoers.’ No Muslim recites this Dua concerning any matter, but ALLAH will a...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Ahad. 16th day of Ramadhan. (Sunday, 17th of April, 2022). FOR BETTER FOR WORSE NEVER NEGLECT YOUR SALAAH. BismilLah.  ALLAH the Almighty says: “ But they were succeeded by generations who neglected prayer and followed their lusts and so will soon face the evil consequences.” (Quran, 19:59) This verse is a warning to those who commits one of the greatest major sins, namely abandoning Salah. This verse comes after ALLAH mentioned Prophets and Messengers and their high ranks. So after them came a generations who didn’t follow the way of the Prophets and they neglected salah and followed their lusts. ALLAH then threatened them that they will soon face the evil consequences of those major sins. It’s so sad when one read verses like this and realize that the majority of Muslims today are in this situation. Many of them don’t pray regularly and a large number don’t pray altogether. With that in mind, we can now understand why we are facing so m...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Ahad. 16th day of Ramadhan. (Sunday, 17th of April, 2022). CONTROLLING OUR TONGUE. BismilLah.  Controlling the tongue for many people is more difficult than abstaining from food and drinks. It is easy to abstain from food and drink, but abstaining one’s tongue is a really difficult one. What we need to remember is that ALLAH is not in need of the fast of such a person. The Prophet sallallahu  alaihi  wasallam said: “Whoever does not give up false speech and acting upon it, ALLAH has no need of him giving up his food and drink.” [Tirmidhi 707]. Even though it is difficult to always keep our tongue under control, let us try our best. Let us constantly keep reminding ourselves that we are not only abstaining from food and drink, and that we are also abstaining from all sorts of sins which will cause us to attain the anger of ALLAH. May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum As-Sabt. 15th day of Ramadhan. (Saturday, 16th of April, 2022). PROMISE BY ALLAH TO BELIEVERS. BismilLah.  ALLAH, Blessed Be HIS Name, says;  “Whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a BELIEVER, ALLAH will surely bless them with a good life, and ALLAH will certainly reward them according to the best of their deeds.” (Quran, 16:97). Every human being wants to have a good life in this world right. For most people, this good life is being financially well off and having a big house etc. But the reality is that even if one has this, one can still feel miserable and depressed. So, what is the real good life?  The real good life is being near ALLAH and experiencing HIS Nearness and being guided by HIM to do what HE loves and is pleased with. And being given enough rizq with barakah, and being given a heart that yearn for ALLAH’s reward and strives to gain it.  All of this and much more is part of the real good life that A...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Jumuat. 14th day of Ramadhan. (Friday, 15th of April, 2022). HOW TO INCREASE OUR SUSTENANCE OR WEALTH. BismilLah.  ALLAH the Almighty says:   “ And remember when your Lord proclaimed, ‘if you are grateful, I will certainly give you more. But if you are ungrateful, surely My punishment is severe.” (Quran, 14:7). ALLAH promises us in this beautiful verse to give us more if we are grateful.  Showing gratefulness to ALLAH is not done simply by saying Alhamdulillah, but it is also by using what ALLAH gave you in the manner HE is pleased with.   When you do that then be sure that ALLAH will give you more. You can say Alhamdulillah 1000times a day but if you dont support the needy, your relatives and work of ALLAH, you may even fall into HIS punishment due to your ungratefulness. Those who are ungrateful and use the blessings of ALLAH in a haram way. ALLAH warns such people with a severe punishment. May ALLAH keeps guidi...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Al-Khamis. 13th day of Ramadhan. (Thursday, 14th of April, 2022). YES ALLAH WILL FORGIVE ALL MAJOR SINS EVEN IF SHIRK. BismilLah. The Almighty ALLAH loves to forgive and in numerous places in the Quran HE invite us towards HIS FORGIVENESS.  ALLAH the Most High says: “ Will they not turn to ALLAH in repentance and seek HIS forgiveness? And ALLAH is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Quran, 5:74). To understand the context of this verse, one should read two verses before it where ALLAH says: “Those who say, “ALLAH is the Messiah, son of Mary,” have certainly fallen into disbelief. The Messiah ˹himself˺ said, “O Children of Israel! Worship ALLAH, my Lord and your Lord.” Whoever associates others with ALLAH in worship will surely be forbidden Paradise by ALLAH. Their home will be the Fire. And the wrongdoers will have no helpers. Those who say, “ALLAH is one in a Trinity,” have certainly fallen into disbelief. There is only ONE GOD. If they do not...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Arba'a. 12th day of Ramadhan. (Wwdnesday, 13th of April, 2022). SINCERE CHARITY (Sadaqah) is a GUARANTEED  INVESTMENT and INCREASES WEALTH. BismilLah.  ALLAH, the Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an: "Who will loan to ALLAH a beautiful loan which ALLAH will double unto his/her credit and multiply it many times? 2:245. The above verse teaches us that by generously giving to the poor and needy, ALLAH will increase our wealth and blessings in this life, wipe out sins, increase rewards and provide shade on the Day of Judgment and more in shaa ALLAH. What more could we ask for? Money back, profit, good health, baraqah (blessings) in our wealth, shade on the Day of Judgement, sadaqah is definitely the best investment for our dunya and aakhira. Let's support expecially our relatives in need without  seeking any rewards from them or expecting them to reciprocate our kind gesture if you did it for ALLAH sake especially in this blessed month....
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 11th day of Ramadhan. (Tuesday, 12th of April, 2022). CHARACTERISTICS OF A TRUE BELIEVER. BismilLah.  ALLAH, Praised be HIS Name, says: “ The (true) believers are only those who, when ALLAH is mentioned, their hearts tremble, and when HIS verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord, they rely.” (Quran, 8:2). ALLAH describes true believers with 3 amazing characteristics. The first characteristic is that when ALLAH is mentioned, their hearts tremble out of awe, fear, and respect for HIM. This is because they really know who ALLAH is.  The second characteristic is that their faith increases when the Quran is recited. Their eeman increase because they understand the meanings of the Quran. The third characteristic is that they put their trust in their Lord. Since they know that HE is the Only One who predestinates and everything is under HIS Control. These three characteristics will let you kno...

The benefits of Reciting the Holy Qur'an in this blessed month of Ramadan.

If our currency, carpets, houses, children, business and money are snatched away at the time of death, it indicates that these things are not the aim of our life otherwise Allâh would have sent all these things to the hereafter.   Allâh has explained the aim of our lives.   Now if man becomes engrossed in material wealth, it is his responsibility.   We have created you for our worship.   But you became engrossed in the world of romance running after attractive faces.   You are responsible for leaving Allâh's worship and wasting your life in filth.   Had I not announced the aim in the Qur'ân, you could have had an excuse and said Allâh did not tell you the aim.   Allâh says, "I did not create jinn and man except for my worship."   [ Surah Zâriyât.] We created you for our worship only. Therefore, only worship will go to Allâh.   Dear friends, only the currency of worship will go. Blessings, blessings and more blessings in the month of Ramad...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum al-ithnayn. 10th day of Ramadhan. (Monday, 11th of April, 2022). CAN I SMOKE CIGARETTES, WEE, MARIJUANA etc AFTER BREAKING MY FAST?. BismilLah.  No you shouldn't. In the teachings of Islam it is well known that our body or entire system of our flesh is a trust from the creator (ALLAH). A person does not have the right to alter his physical appearance according to his own preference, to put his own life in danger or to utilise those means which will cause harm to ones health. These are most definitely not permissible according to the laws of Islam such as tattooing, skin bleaching, smoking etc. This is also the reason why the Scholars of Islam have looked with great respect at the field of Pharmacology and Medicine. Imam Shafi'e (may ALLAH be pleased with him) stated: ‘Verily knowledge is of two aspects. One is that of jurisprudence, to use the Quran and Sunnah as a means by which to live your life. The second been the knowledge of medicine ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum As-Sabt. 9th day of Ramadhan. (Sunday, 10th of April, 2022). THE REAL THIEVES OF RAMADAN CONTINUES. BismilLah Let's conclude on this topic.  The next point to be careful about is Bad Akhlaq(practice of virtue, morality and manners): Fasting is not just restraining from food and drinks but eyes, ears, tongue and all parts of the body should also be fasting.. Stay away from lying, backbiting, cursing, suspicion, if you want to pass the siraat with ease during this month make your Akhlaq good. And finally the biggest thief: Social media i.e Facebook, Watsapp etc; If you do not use them in the right way, all your good deeds could be taken from you. Don't let this holy month go so that when everyone is receiving their rewards, you are the one who are empty handed. Facebook especially is a place we can easily listen or watch our scholars tafseer etc but it's the same place that can damage our eemaan and aqeedah.  May ALLAH accept our acts of...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum As_sabt. 8th day of Ramadhan. (Saturday, 9th of April, 2022). THE REAL THIEVES OF RAMADHAN CONTINUES. BismilLah Let's continue from this topic. Please request for a copy if you couldn't receive the Reminder yesterday.  Wasting night: A thief that steals most valuable time from you. This thief is responsible for turning you away from salatul layl, istighfar and tawbah and recitation of the Qur'an. Make time your priority without wasting a second in this blessed month.  Stinginess: Give sadaqah, iftaar and help the orphans.. Give iftaar even if it is half a date or a sip of water, so ALLAH will forgive your past sins. Gatherings without dhikr of ALLAH: This thief comes with deep regret on the day of judgement. Don't go to places of gathering if not for Islamic lectures etc.  Helping parents; Whoever in this month does good towards their relatives, ALLAH connects them with HIS mercy on the day of judgement. My dear, always be careful...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Jumuat. 7th day of Ramadhan. (Friday, 8th of April, 2022). Lets Be careful with THIEVES of the month of Ramadhan. BismilLah.  By saying thieves I mean things and actions that can take away most of the blessings of this month from us.  Television: This thief is dangerous and ruins days of people and diminishes their rewards, by watching useless movies and programs it squanders the time in a month where the days are the best of all days and nights are the best of all nights. Let's give TV the yellow card if we can be watching only Islamic lectures on it but the Red card if we can't use it for only Islamic programs.  Too much sleep: Just because it is said in Hadith that even sleep in this month has thawab doesn't mean that you should excessively sleep.. The point is that if even sleep contains rewards then imagine the rewards of Ibaadat or acts of worship. Let's utilise our time wisely in getting the best out of this month. To be ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Al-Khamis. 6th day of Ramadhan. (Thusday, 7th of April, 2022). THE BEST FORM OF CHARITY. BismilLah. It was narrated that Abu Hurairah (RA) said: "A man asked: 'O Messenger of ALLAH (peace be upon him), which kind of charity is best? He said: 'Giving charity when you are in good health, and feeling stingy, hoping for a long life and fearing poverty."(Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 23, Hadith 2543). There is no better month to give charity than this month especially to your relatives so lets step up our efforts. May ALLAH aid us to be able to support those in need and keep guiding us till Jannat becomes our final abode. Aameen.
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 4th day of Ramadhan. (Tuesday, 5th of April, 2022). TIME FOR THE TARAAWEEH SALAAT. BismilLah. Our schorlars based on the Qur'an and Sunnah have narrated that, the time for Taraaweeh prayer lasts from after ‘Isha’ until dawn comes, so it is valid to perform this prayer at any time during this period. Imam Al-Nawawi (may ALLAH have mercy on him) said in al-Majmoo’: The time of Taraaweeh prayer begins when ‘Isha’ prayer is over, and it lasts until dawn comes. But if a man is going to pray in the mosque as an imam leading the people in prayer, the best is to pray Taraaweeh after ‘Isha’ prayer and not to delay it until the middle or the end of the night, so that this will not cause hardship for the worshippers and some of them may sleep and miss the prayer. This is what the Muslims usually do, they pray Taraaweeh after ‘Isha’ and do not delay it. But for one who prays Taraaweeh at home, he has the choice: if he wants, he can pray it at...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul al-ithnayn. 3rd day of Ramadhan. (Monday, 4th of April, 2022). What level of intimacy are we allowed between spouses? Are we allowed to flirt, gently touch, kiss, or hug our spouses while fasting. Bismillah.  In optional fasts, all the above-mentioned acts are permitted so long as one does not engage in sexual intercourse. In obligatory fasts like Ramadan, one is allowed to do these ONLY IF one can control himself or herself. Breaking a Ramadhan fast through sexual intercourse is a serious offence; it entails a severe form of kaffarah (expiation), which involves fasting two months consecutively; if one cannot do this, one must feed sixty poor persons for a single day of fast. Therefore, no conscientious Muslim should contemplate such activities while fasting if there is a risk of overstepping the boundaries. If there is no such fear, then light touching, or kissing, etc., when not accompanied by sexual desire, is permissible. When the Pro...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Ahad. 2nd day of Ramadhan. (Sunday, 3rd of April, 2022). A MUSLIMS WAY OF LIFE. BismilLah. If you accept to be a Muslim and thus having accepted ALLAH as our CREATOR and Muhammad (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) as HIS Messenger, the next and ultimate step is to please our LORD and thus Obtain HIS MERCY and LOVE. The question arises as to how to please our Lord, so that HE will Love us?. Is it by doing what our heart says Or Is it by using our intellect? Or is it by mysticism and meditation Or is it to ask a wise man. Or is it to consult a manual? Etc.  The answer is very clear to an intelligent person. Everything has a manual even a simple system comes with a manual to show the purchaser how to best make use of it and how to look after it? So why should the human being with such a complex physiological and psychological make up not come with a manual? In fact we do come with a manual. Our manual is the Quran and Prophet Muhammad (sallallah...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum As-Sabt. 1st day of Ramadhan. (Saturday, 2nd of April, 2022). RULINGS REGARDING WET DREAMS in RAMADHAAN.  BismilLah. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this year’s Ramadhan. May ALLAH accept it from us all. If you are not fasting today because you chose to follow your country chief Imam, please keep it to yourself without indulging in any arguments with those who are fasting today. We are Muslims as one ummah and our chief imam is the Imam of the house of ALLAH, the Kaaba which we all aim to visit so if some of us follow them because they have sighted the moon and we trust them, its our choice so no argument please. Those chief imams who have already announce Sunday did not sight the moon before announcing that isnt it? Back to our topic today.  If you experience a wet dream during the day in Ramadhan, your fasting is still sound and is not affected by the wet dream, because you didn't do that intentionally. Ho...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Jumuat. 29th day of Sha’abaan. (Friday, 1st of April, 2022). RULES PERTAINING TO FASTING IN RAMADHAN. BismilLah.  In shaa ALLAH, fasting starts tomorrow subject to moon-sighting this evening.  Fasting in the month of Ramadan is one of the 'pillars' of the Islamic faith. No proof is required to establish its being obligatory (wajib) and one denying it goes out of the fold of Islam, because it is obvious like salaat. It was declared an obligatory duty (fard ) in the second year of the Hijrah upon each and every mukallaf (one capable of carrying out religious duties, i.e. a sane adult) and breaking it (iftar) is not permissible except for any of the following reasons: 1. Hayd and nifas: Fasting is not valid for women during menstruation and puerperal bleeding (After childbirth). 2. Illness: Fasting is not valid if it would cause illness or aggravate it, or intensify the pain, or delay recovery, because illness entails harm (darar) and c...
