DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 11th day of Ramadhan. (Tuesday, 12th of April, 2022). CHARACTERISTICS OF A TRUE BELIEVER. BismilLah.

ALLAH, Praised be HIS Name, says:

“ The (true) believers are only those who, when ALLAH is mentioned, their hearts tremble, and when HIS verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord, they rely.” (Quran, 8:2).

ALLAH describes true believers with 3 amazing characteristics.

The first characteristic is that when ALLAH is mentioned, their hearts tremble out of awe, fear, and respect for HIM. This is because they really know who ALLAH is.

The second characteristic is that their faith increases when the Quran is recited. Their eeman increase because they understand the meanings of the Quran.

The third characteristic is that they put their trust in their Lord. Since they know that HE is the Only One who predestinates and everything is under HIS Control.

These three characteristics will let you know if you are a true believer.

But not only this, the following verse (8:3) mentions establishing Salah and giving sadaqah as also characteristics of the true believers. So a true believer is the one who both has a strong faith in his heart and does good deeds with his limbs.

We should really check if we have these characteristics so that we may be among those whom ALLAH will give this reward as HE says in the fourth verse of this very same surah:

“ Those are the true believers. For them are degrees (of high position) with their Lord and forgiveness and an honorable provision.” (Quran, 8:4). ALHAMDULILLAH. May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect our eemaan from any satanic influences. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
