DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulAhad, 8th day of Shawwal (Sunday 31st May, 2020). THE BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS OF DEATH FOR BELIEVERS CAPTURED IN THE QURAN. BismilLah. ALLAH says in the Qur'an; Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is ALLAH " and then remained on a right course - the angels will descend upon them (during the last moment of death), [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised. Fussilat 41:30. In Arabic Istaqamu: stand firm, i.e. they followed (really) the religion of Islamic Monotheism, believed in the Oneness of ALLAH, and worshipped none but HIM (Alone), and performed all that was ordained by ALLAH (good deeds) and abstained from all that was forbidden by ALLAH (sins and evil deeds). Nothing can happen to us without the permission of ALLAH as such even if it's bad, seek guidance and forgiveness only from ALLAH. Let's strive to find out the positive reasons of anything happening to us ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 7th day of Shawwal (Saturday 30th May, 2020). PARADISE AND ITS ADORNMENTS. BismilLah. Imam Abu Dawuud May ALLAH be pleased with him narrated in one of his authentic ahadith collections that our beloved Messenger of ALLAH peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him said: “If any Muslim clothes a Muslim when he/she is naked or in need, ALLAH will clothe him with some green garments of Paradise; if any Muslim feeds a Muslim when he is hungry, ALLAH will feed him with some of the fruits of Paradise; and if any Muslim gives a Muslim drink when he is thirsty, ALLAH will give him some of the pure wine which is sealed to drink.” Instead of paying monthly premium for all kinds of insurance policies which are optional, give that money to the needy and tell ALLAH that you are doing so for HIS sake so that HE can take care of you, your family and property in order to gain it's rewards as sadaqatul jaariya when we die. That should be our focus in life. ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulJumuat, 6th day of Shawwal (Friday 29th May, 2020). THE FUTURE IS FOR ISLAM, THE ONLY TRUE SYSTEM OF LIFE. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Islam came with this total guidance and decisive teaching. A Muslim has no country except that part of the earth where the Shari'ah of ALLAH is established and human relationships are based on the foundation of relationship with ALLAH; a Muslim has no nationality except his belief, which makes him or her a member of the Muslim community in Dar-ul-Islam; a Muslim has no relatives except those who share the belief in ALLAH, and thus a bond is established between him and other Believers through their relationship with ALLAH. A Muslim has no relationship with his mother, father, brother, wife and other family members except through their relationship with the Creator, and then they are also joined through blood; ALLAH says; "O mankind, remain conscious of your Sustainer, Who created you from one soul and cre...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 5th day of Shawwal (Thursday 28th May, 2020). DANGERS OF TAKFIR (declaring Muslims to be apostates). BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. One of the worst crimes against Islam and the Muslim community is the practice of excommunication (takfir or takfeer) which is to declare a practicing Muslim to be an unbeliever. There is a unanimous consensus among most scholars that the Quran, the Sunnah, and the righteous predecessors prohibit Muslims from charging each other with unbelief. ALLAH says: وَلَا تَلْمِزُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا بِالْأَلْقَابِ Do not insult one another and do not call each other by offensive names. Surat Al-Hujurat 49:11 In several traditions, the Prophet and his companions warned us about the severity of charging a Muslim with unbelief or apostasy. Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A man does not accuse another man of wickedness or unbelief except that it will return ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arbaà, 4th day of Shawwal (Wednesday 27th May, 2020). OBEDIENCE TO ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER. Bismillahir. The Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Whoever obeys me, obeys ALLAH, and whoever disobeys me, disobeys ALLAH.” [Narrated by Imam Bukhari]. Sunnah is like medicine. When we visit the doctor for treatment, they usually write a prescription for the medicines we need. We take these prescriptions to pharmacists who then sell the medicines to us. Sometimes these medicines are bitter and hard to swallow, but we still consume them as we know that the cure is in them. Similarly, each and every Sunnah has physical and spiritual cure for us in this world and in the hereafter. Even if some of the Sunnah is hard to follow, we should still adopt it as the cure is in it. ALLAH says: "...So take what the Messenger gives you, and refrain from what he prohibits you. And fear ALLAH. Indeed ALLAH is severe in punishment." [Quran: Su...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 3rd day of Shawwal (Tuesday 26th May, 2020). SO WHAT NEXT AFTER RAMADHAN?BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. AlhamdulilLah for guiding us all through the blessed month of Ramadhan.  What Have We Gained From Ramadhan? Ramadan is a school of eeman and a 'stop to recharge one's spiritual batteries' - to acquire one's provision for the rest of the year... For when will one take a lesson and change for better if not in the month of Ramadhan? The noble month is a true school of transformation in which we change our actions, habits and manners that are in variance with the Law of ALLAH 'azza wa jall. Verily, ALLAH does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. (Ar-Ra`d, 11).  If you are from those who benefited from Ramadhan, fulfilled the requirements of taqwa, truly fasted the month, prayed in it with truthfulness, and strove against your soul, then praise and thank ALLAH, and ask HIM for...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ithnayn, 2nd day of Shawwal (Monday 25th May, 2020). HAVE YOU STARTED PAYING FOR YOUR RAMADHAN DEBTS OR STARTED YOUR 6 DAYS IN SHAWWAL? Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. It's important we don't delay any acts of worship that can get us closer to ALLAH. Those who missed any days in Ramadhan should start fasting now without delaying it unless with genuine reasons. Those who doesn't owe any days should start fasting the 6 recommended days in this month Shawwaal. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) explained this when he said: “Whoever fasts for six days after (Eid) al-Fitr has completed the year: (whoever does a good deed (hasanah) will have ten hasanah like it).” According to another report: “ALLAAH has made for each hasanah ten like it, so a month is like fasting ten months, and fasting six days is like fasting 2 months that completes the whole year.” Even though its permissible to fast these 6 special days within Shawwa...
EID MUBARAK TO YOU ALL. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR LAILAHAILLALAH WALAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR WALILLAHILHAMD. Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah Thummalhamdulillah for guiding us till this blessed joyous day. Sadly, Ramadhan is gone But most importantly, ALLAH is always with us as such Ramadhan mood should remain for ALLAH sake. May ALLAH accept all our good ibaadaat in Ramadhan, and forgive our mistakes. May ALLAH ease the pains of all suffering Muslims and grant us victory over the kuffar. May ALLAH heal all sick Muslims, May ALLAH grant us pious husbands and wives. May ALLAH bless our marriages and grant us pious children. May ALLAH protect us from any satanic influences. May Allah increase us in eemaan and increase us in knowledge of the deen. May Allah purify our hearts and grant us whatever will benefit our eemaan. May ALLAH grant us the best of this world and unite us in Jannatul Firdaus. Aameen. Let's enjoy the halaal way without stepping over th...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 30th day of Ramadhan (Saturday 23rd May, 2020). HAVE YOU MADE UP YOUR MIND TO STAY WITH ALLAH OR GO BACK TO SHEITAN? Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. My dear brothers and sisters in Islam, Falling short in one's commitment to Islamic ways of life after Ramadhan is a sign of disastrous Ramadhan in many ways, including: Men leaving the five prayers in congregation when masjids opens. Returning to musical entertainment, forbidden films, women displaying their adornment beyond that which ordinarily appears thereof, free mixing etc. Ending Ramadan with so called Sallah Dance, AstaghfirulLah. Intermixing and dancing with haraam music. May ALLAH protect us and our offspring from such satanic traps. Please give all these things the RED CARD in your new life. Let's fear ALLAH in all we do. If you don't mine been granted paradise with little efforts at least let's fear the day the Angel of death will visit us. It will be too late. Imagi...
Assalaamu Alaikum warahmatullah. FASTING CONTINUES TOMORROW IN SHAA ALLAH. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. AlhamdulilLah for His blessings and guidance. For the fact that no credible sightings of the Shawwaal moon, fasting continues per the commands of the Prophet to complete 30 days of Ramadhan if the Shawwaal moon is not sighted on the 29th day. Please don't rely on any misleading information to stop fasting tomorrow. Majority if not all major Islamic authority have declared Sunday as Eid in shaa ALLAAH so let's go ahead with our fasting tomorrow. Please note that any news claiming tomorrow to be eid are not credible and mostly created by non Muslims to create division among us. Let's unite to defeat sheitan as he will be released from prison probably by magrib tomorrow like a wounded lion. Don’t fall to his determination in getting us back to our weak eemaan before Ramadhan. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulJumuat, 29th day of Ramadhan (Friday 22nd May, 2020). HOW TO REMAIN STEADFAST IN ISLAM EVEN AFTER RAMADAN. BismilLaah. Islam is a complete way of life till death not only in Ramadan. ALLAH has taught us all we need to get to Jannat (Paradise) through the Quran and teachings of our beloved Messenger of ALLAH Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam. As we approach the end of Ramadhan, we must remind ourselves that we are Muslims of all times not only in Ramadhan and we have the Quran to guide us through all times. The Quran is the main means for one to remain steadfast, and attachment to it preserves and safeguards a person during trials. He who abides by it will be protected by ALLAH, and he who calls people to it will himself be guided to the straight path. ALLAH informs us that the reason behind HIM revealing the Quran in segments and over a long period not only in Ramadan is that it would thereby be a means for steadfastness. He Almighty Says what mean...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 28th day of Ramadhan (Thursday 21st May, 2020). HAVE YOU PAID YOUR ZAKAAT THIS YEAR?  Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Zakaat is one of the Five pillars of islam. It is an obligation from ALLAH upon every Muslim who possesses the minimum amount of wealth given certain conditions. This is not Zakaatul Fitir or Eidul Fitir. The type of wealth upon which zakat is obligatory are Monetary assets, Livestock, Agricultural produce, Merchandise. I will focus on monetary. Gold, Silver and currency. Zakaat [obligatory charity] must be paid on gold if it reaches the Nisaab [i.e. the minimum amount liable for Zakaah], which is 20 Mithqaal [a measure which equals 85 grams of pure gold, 1 Mithqaal = 4.25 grams], this means that one should pay ½ a Mithqaal as Zakaat, i.e., 2.5% of the value of gold. Zakaat must be paid on silver if it reaches the value of 200 Dirhams, which is the equivalent of 595 grams of pure silver; one should then pay five Dirh...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arbaà, 27th day of Ramadhan (Wednesday 20th May, 2020). ALL WE NEED TO KNOW AND PREPARE FOR EIDUL FITIR WITH COVID19. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. EID-UL-FITR is celebrated on the first day of Shaw'waal, at the completion of RAMADHAN which is likely to be Saturday or Sunday subject to moon sightings on Friday in Shaa ALLAH. Shaw'waal is the 10th month of the Islamic calendar. The Eid-al-Fitr is a very joyous day; it is a true Thanksgiving Day for the believing men and women. On this day we Muslims show our real joy for the health, strength and the opportunities of life, which ALLAH has given to us to fulfill our obligation of fasting and other good deeds during the blessed month of Ramadhan. On the eid day please wake up early. Prepare for personal cleanliness, take care of details of clothing, etc. Take a Ghusl (bath). Brush your teeth. Dress up, putting on best clothes available, whether new or cleaned old ones. Use perfume (men only). Ha...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 26th day of Ramadhan (Tuesday 19th May, 2020). GIFT FROM ALLAH TO ALL HIS SERVANTS. BismilLah. Let's try to memorise this dua and use it daily, 7 times in the morning, 7 times in the evening especially in this blessed times of Ramadhan. Share to others for ALLAH sake. "ALLAH is sufficient for me. I have placed my trust in HIM, HE is the LORD of the Majestic Throne. [Surah Tawbah, verse 129]. What is the significance of saying this du’a from surah Tawbah? The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, ALLAH will grant whoever recites this seven times in the morning and evening whatever he desires from this world or the next.” [Saheeh, Sunan Abee Dawood]. SUBHAANALLAH. ALLAHU AKBAR. ALLAH IS INDEED THE MOST MERCIFUL TO ALL HIS CREATION. MAY A...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 25th day of Ramadhan (Monday 18th May, 2020). ZAKAAT AL-FITR EXPLAINED based on Quran and Sunnah. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Zakah al-Fitr is often referred to as Sadaqah al-Fitr This is not the yearly zakaat on our savings. The word Fitr means the same as Iftar, breaking a fast and it comes from the same root word as Futur which means breakfast. Thus, Islamically, Zakah al-Fitr is the name given to charity which is distributed at the end of the fast of Ramadan for those who cannot afford to celebrate the end of Ramadan. Sadaqah al-Fitr is a duty which is Wajib on every Muslim, whether male or female, minor or adult as long as he/she has the means to do so. The proof that this form of charity is compulsory can be found in the Sunnah whereby Ibn `Umar reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) made Zakah al-Fitr compulsory on every slave, freeman, male, female, young and old among the Muslims; one "Sa" of dried dates or one...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulAhad, 24th day of Ramadhan (Sunday 17th May, 2020). HOW TO MOTIVATE OURSELVES TO BOOST OUR EEMAAN(FAITH). Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. The simplest definition of the word ‘motivation’ is ‘that which drives us to action’. As human beings, we are drawn to questions such as, “What’s the point of this?” or “Why am I here?” ALLAH Almighty has already answered this question for us in the Qur'an saying: ".... I have not created the jinn and the humankind except that they should serve Me. (Qur'an 51:56). Once the purpose of life has been established in our minds, what motivates us to fulfill that purpose? In The Quran: "ALLAH swears by time towards our death that; indeed, mankind is in loss; except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience. (Qur'an 103). "Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer, I will surely cause h...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 23rd day of Ramadhan (Saturday 16th May, 2020). LET'S BE STEADFAST IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS AS STEADFASTNESS IS THE WAY TO PARADISE. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem.  Istiqaama (steadfastness) in Islam is a basic requirement for every Muslim. We are required to be steadfast in all good deeds without any laziness. Those who do that enjoys what ALLAH promised in  Suuratul Fussilat (41): 30-32. Read for yourself to see how beautiful this promise of ALLAH is. Among them is our salaat and it's timing. As soon as you finish offering your fajir you start programing yourself for zuhur wherever you maybe. Striving to please your parents, supporting any charitable activities. Visiting the sick. Helping fellow Muslims in need especially the orphans. Striving to obey ALLAH and ignore any satanic influences. Making dua regularly towards ALLAH'S protection etc. The next few days may be crucial towards our success this month in shaa ALLAH or failure m...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 22nd day of Ramadhan (Friday 15th May, 2020). THE RIGHT FORMAT OF MAKING DUA. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Before making any dua especially in this blessed moment, we are thought to 1. Praise ALLAH (SWT) and to thank HIM and show gratitude to HIS RAHMAH. Example is the first 3 verses of suratul Fatihah,  Aayatul Kursy. Laailaaha illaa Anta, Anta Nuurus Samaawaati wal Ard, etc. 2. You then follow that by sending salutations to the Prophet(Salaat Alan Nabi) which is "Allah humma salli alaa muhammad wa-alaa aali  muhammad kama sallaita alaa Ibraaheem wa alaa aali Ibraheem inna ka hameed um majeed. Allah hummabarik alaa  muhammad wa alaa aali  muhammad kamaa baarakta alaa  Ibraaheem wa alaa aali  Ibraheem inna ka hameed um majeed". 3. Then Make your dua starting from those mentioned in Quran and Sunnah in Arabic like saying Allahummah Ajirnii Minan Naar(Oh ALLAH Protect me from the hell fire). Then you can use your...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 21st day of Ramadhan (Thursday 14th May, 2020). LAST 10 DAYS WITH US. BismilLah. The last ten days of Ramadan are very precious indeed and I hope we all did our best last night: ALLAH'S Messenger used to exert himself in devotion during the last ten nights to a greater extent than at any other time." (Narrated by imam Muslim). Please don't ask me about the odd days in this last days in trying to use our wisdom to acquire laylatul Qadar. You may miss it if you do so by ignoring other nights, just strive to get some time in acts of worship throughout the nights of these last 10 days as no one can be certain which days or nights are the odd days this month. Our mother Aishah (may ALLAH be pleased with her) reported that during the last ten days of Ramadan; the Messenger of ALLAH would wake his wives up during the night and then remain apart from them (that is, being busy in acts of worship). (Narrated by imam Bukhari). Recite lot...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arbaà, 20th day of Ramadhan (Wednesday 13th May, 2020). LAST 10 DAYS OF GOLDEN REWARDS. BismilLah. As we move to the last 10 days of golden rewards, let's look round the community and feed the less privileged brothers and sisters in deen and step up our acts of worship hoping for multiple rewards from ALLAH. Narrated Abu Huraira (R.A): ALLAH'S Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "The poor person is not the one who goes round the people and ask them for a mouthful or two (of meals) or a date or two but the poor is that who has not enough (money) to satisfy his needs and whose condition is not known to others, that others may give him something in charity, and who does not beg of people." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 24, Hadith 81) Community is important. We should know others in our local area and help them when possible, especially in times like these. If a person has not got enough and they have cut off from the community to the exten...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 19th day of Ramadhan (Tuesday 12th May, 2020). THE BEST CHARITY TO NOTE. BismilLah. It was narrated that Abu Hurairah (RA) said: "A man asked: 'O Messenger of ALLAH (peace be upon him), which kind of charity is best? He said: 'Giving charity when you are in good health, and feeling stingy, hoping for a long life and fearing poverty."(Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 23, Hadith 2543). There are many who have lost their jobs right now due to covid19 yet they have saved to give in Ramadhan. if you have your health, then give part of your savings in the name of ALLAH swt hoping for HIS reward, just as the Hadith says. In shaa ALLAH this will not only purify your wealth but be a protection for you. Ramadhan is already passed half way through SubhaaAllah, avail every opportunity you have to give as we approach the last 10 days especially to your family and relatives near you who are in need. May ALLAH aid us to be able to support u...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 18th day of Ramadhan (Monday 11th May, 2020). THE GREATNESS OF AAYATUL KURSY. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Reading the Holy Quran is a great way to overcome turmoil, anxiety and distress, and to relieve us. There is one particular Aayah that Prophet Muhammad salallahu alaihi wasallam spoke of, that is said to give its reader great benefits in this life and the afterlife and that's Aayatul Kursi (Surat Al-Baqarah 2:255), also known as the Verse of the Throne. The narrations (hadith) that speak of the virtues, and benefits, of Aayatul Kursi are numerous. Narrated Abu Huraira: Prophet Muhammad salallahu alaihi wasallam ordered me to guard the Zakat revenue of Ramadan. Then somebody came to me and started stealing of the foodstuff. I caught him and said, “I will take you to Allah’s Apostle!” Then Abu Hurairah described the whole narration and said: That person said (to me), “Please don’t take me to ALLAH’s Apostle and I will tell you a...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 17th day of Ramadhan (Sunday 10th May, 2020). ISLAMIC SOLUTION TO FORGETFULNESS. Bismillah. Islam is a complete way of life as such has all solutions to all the creation of ALLAH. It is human nature to be forgetful, as the Arab poet said: “He is only called man (insaan) because of his forgetfulness (nasiyaan), and it is only called the heart (al-qalb) because it changes so rapidly (yataqallib).” Some of the things that may help to combat forgetfulness are: Keeping away from sin, because the bad effects of sin result in a bad memory and the inability to retain knowledge. The darkness of sin cannot co-exist with the light of knowledge. The knowledge of ALLAAH is light, and the light of ALLAAH is not given to the sinner.” We are talking about beneficial knowledge here please so don't ask me why some  of the kuffar are knowledgeable. If your knowledge does not aid you to earn the halaal way and live in peace worshipping ALLAH knowing you wil...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 16th day of Ramadhan (Saturday 9th May, 2020). SINCERE CHARITY (Sadaqah) is a GUARANTEED INVESTMENT and INCREASES WEALTH. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. ALLAH, the Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an: "Who will loan to ALLAH a beautiful loan which ALLAH will double unto his/her credit and multiply it many times? 2:245. The above verse teaches us that by generously giving to the poor and needy, ALLAH will increase our wealth and blessings in this life, wipe out sins, increase rewards and provide shade on the Day of Judgment and more in shaa ALLAH. What more could we ask for? Money back, profit, good health, baraqah (blessings) in our wealth, shade on the Day of Judgement, sadaqah is definitely the best investment for our dunya and aakhira. Let's support expecially our relatives in need without  seeking any rewards from them or expecting them to reciprocate our kind gesture if you did it for ALLAH sake especially in this blessed mont...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul Jumuat, 21st day of Jumaadal Aakhir (9th March). RULINGS ON SMOKING CIGARETTES, WEE, MARIJUANA etc IN ISLAM. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. In the teachings of Islam it is well known that our body or entire system of our flesh is a trust from the creator (ALLAH). A person does not have the right to alter his physical appearance according to his own preference, to put his own life in danger or to utilise those means which will cause harm to ones health. These are most definitely not permissible according to the laws of Islam such as tattooing, skin bleaching etc. This is also the reason why the Scholars of Islam have looked with great respect at the field of Pharmacology and Medicine. Imam Shafi (may ALLAH be pleased with him) stated: ‘Verily knowledge is of two aspects. One is that of jurisprudence, to use the Quran and Sunnah as a means by which to live your life. The second been the knowledge of medicine for the curing of ailments. (Miftahul Sa’ada, p267). Th...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 14th day of Ramadhan (Thursday 7th May, 2020). TAU’BAH  (SEEKING FORGIVENESS) is our topic today in shaa ALLAH. BismilLah. It is the nature of mankind to be forgetful and to commit sins.  However, ALLAH has given us the ability to rectify ourselves by turning to HIM and begging for HIS forgiveness. Our mountains of evil deeds are nothing before the vast ocean of the mercy of ALLAH. ALLAH has promised to forgive our sins as long as we regret for it and repent from it. Committing sins may make you sorrowful, depressed and deeply disappointed with yourself.  But if you return to ALLAH with a few tears and beseech HIM for mercy, HE will certainly forgive you.  There is no other door to knock to solve our issues.  None can forgive sins except HIM.  HE calls us to the abode of peace (Paradise); HE is the Almighty who hides our faults and HE alone can replace our bad deeds with good deeds. ALLAHU AKBAR. The door of r...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arbaà, 13th day of Ramadhan (Wednesday 6th May, 2020). HOW TO KNOW WHO ALLAH IS. BismilLah. In order to worship ALLAH you must strive to know HIM. And to do that You must study HIS attributes. We are actually REQUIRED to know ALLAH.  Whenever anything other than ALLAH is in our hearts, whenever any other than ALLAH is the ONE WHOM we love and submit to, then we invite corruption into our hearts and it leads to our destruction. Knowing that ALLAH is the cause of life for the individual is the second birth that every person who believes in ALLAH will experience. There is no doubt that knowing ALLAH is the greatest and noblest of knowledge. It is the ilm (the beneficial knowledge) we are encouraged to seek. When you learn about ALLAH, you are learning about the purpose of your existence. You are learning about living a life set on the right course. Are we ready to know HIM then lets study HIS attributes from now. The 99 attributes are enough. With th...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 12th day of Ramadhan (Tuesday 5th May, 2020). *_GOOD LEADERSHIP CAN ONLY BE ACHIEVED THROUGH PATIENCE AND CERTAINTY_*. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. ALLAH who is free from all imperfections, has informed us that good leadership is obtained through patience (sabr) and certainty (yaqeen). The Exalted said: And I have made from among them (His Creation), leaders, giving guidance under My Command, when they were patient and believed with certainty in My Signs. [Soorah as-Sajdah (32):24]. Therefore, it is by patience and certainty that leadership in the religion is obtained. This means that whatever position you are offered, you must be patient  and have strong faith in ALLAH to guide you through regardless of what position it is even parents on their children, supervisors and managers at work, imams in our masaajids, husbands on wives etc. Firm faith in ALLAH through patience in whatever happens is the source of successful end. *_...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 11th day of Ramadhan (Monday 4th May, 2020). SOME DIFFICULTIES MAY BE BLESSINGS. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Suffering and affliction often help return us to the obedience of ALLAH. ALLAH says to the nearestmeaning: “I sent messengers before you to many communities and afflicted their people with suffering and hardships, so that they might learn humility. If only they had learned humility when suffering came from ME, ALLAH! But no, their hearts became hard…” Qur’ān 6:42-43. There is a lesson in the reversion of the famous rock star, Cat Stevens, now known as Yusuf Islam. He related the story himself: “After a year of financial success and high living, I became very ill. I contracted T.B. (tuberculosis) and had to be hospitalized. It was then that I started to think; what is going to happen to me? Am I just a body? Is my goal in life merely to satisfy this body? I realized this calamity was a blessing given to me by God and a chance to ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulAhad, 10th day of Ramadhan (Sunday 3rd May, 2020). INGREDIENTS OF FAITH.  BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Contrary to the common belief that faith is in the heart, I would like to state base on Quran and Sunnah that Faith is obligatory for all people, and it consists of belief in the heart that (there is none worthy of worship except ALLAH and Prophet MohammedSallalLaahu alaihiWasallam is last and final Messenger), affirmation on the tongue by saying these words as we do in every salaat and in every gathering etc, and then physical actions (righteous deeds) such as the salaat, zakaat,  Fasting in Ramadhan,  Pilgrimage etc. A Muslim must have all these completely in their ways of life else you cannot claim to be among the ummah of RasuululLah sallalLaahuAlaihiWasallam. Moreover, you should understand that having knowledge and belief in the heart is not sufficient unless it is accompanied by verbal affirmation of faith, and knowledge in the...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 9th day of Ramadhan (Saturday 2nd May, 2020). OUR HEART DESIRES MAY BE OUR DOOM. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. As Muslims it's important we keep reminding each other about our ways of life as ALLAH says reminding only benefit believers. My reminder this morning to you and to myself is to remember that, this earth is a temporal place of abode, we will all die soon no doubt about that. Over 100 died yesterday, over 100 died this morning and over 100 may die before you finish reading this reminder and it's a FACT. It could be you or me so why not live our life like a traveller who is resting under a tree as our belovedMessenger of ALLAH sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam explained, do you think he will be spending his entire time thinking about something else other than his journey ahead? Let's focus in our obedience to ALLAH. Our desires which aid us to fornicate, steal, envy, backbite etc especially in this blessed month can only cause us ...
