 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 14th day of RabeeulAwwal, 1445AH (Friday, 29th September, 2023). HOW TO GET CLOSER TO ALLAH CONTINUES FROM YESTERDAY'S REMINDER. BismilLah. Zikr (remembrance of ALLAH) and glorification of ALLAH  "…Verily, in the remembrance of ALLAH do hearts find rest or peace." (13:28) "Remembrance of ALLAH indeed is the greatest virtue.(29:46). "O ye who believe, remember ALLAH much. And glorify HIM morning and evening (33:42-43). Remembrance of ALLAH is the foundation of all good deeds. Whoever succeeds in it is blessed with the close friendship of ALLAH.  The Prophet, peace be upon him, would often tell his Companions to commit to more zikir.  The head of all zikir is Recitation of Quran, then others like SUBHAANALLAH. WALHAMDULILLAH. WALAAILAAHA ILLAA ALLAH. ALLAHU AKBAR ETC. Please remember today is Friday. May ALLAH aid us through our effort to get closer to HIM. Aameen.

HOW TO GET CLOSER TO ALLAH BismilLah.  As Muslims, our no. 1 priority must be to please ALLAH by actions. The most important act of worship to get us close to ALLAH or to please HIM is by fulfilling obligatory duties and abstaining from prohibited matters. The Prophet (May ALLAH bless him and grant him peace) has guided us. And ALLAH, the Glorified and the Exalted, has guided us how to draw near to HIM. As HE said According to Hadith Qudsi: “Whoever draws near to ME among those drawn near by fulfilling what I have made obligatory on them.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 12th day of RabeeulAwwal, 1445AH (Wednesday, 27th September, 2023). Our Topic today is on Voluntary Fasting. Bismillah.  One of the most important acts of worship is fasting which is excellent for us spiritually and its healthy for us too. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH recommended us to fast on Mondays and Thursdays and also the 3 white days of each Islamic calendar which start tomorrow.  “Beed”  is the plural of “Abyad” which means white. Three days of 13, 14 and 15 of lunar month are called “Al-Ayyam-ul-Beed” for the reason that their nights are bright because of the moonlight. The moon begins to diminish gradually after these days. Bismillah Alhamdulillah for HIS guidance in making us Muslims but lets note that it comes with responsibilities and Sacrifices of our desires. BismilLah.  Abu Huraira reported: We witnessed the battle of Khaibar along with the Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him. He said concerning a man who claimed to be a Muslim, “He is among the people of Hellfire.” When the battle began, the man fought so fiercely that he was inflicted with many wounds.  I said, “O Messenger of ALLAH, was it this man you said is among the people of the Hellfire? Indeed, he fought so bravely and was killed.” The Prophet said, “He will go to Hellfire.” Some of the people began to have doubts as someone said he was alive although severely wounded.
