RULINGS ON OFFERING SALAT (The Prayer) WHEN THE FOOD IS READY or WHEN ONE IS IN DESPERATE NEED TO VISIT THE TOILET

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 21st day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Saturday, 13th September, 2025.

BismilLahir.

Our mother Aishah (May ALLAH be pleased with her) said: I heard the Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam saying, "No Salat (prayer) should be performed when the food has been served, nor should it be performed when a person requires relieving himself. Imam Muslim.

We learn from this Hadith that one should not offer Salat when he is hungry and the food has been served or has to answer the call of nature. The reason behind is that if one offers Salat in that condition, he will not be able to do it with full concentration.

Similarly, if one has to answer the call of nature, he should first do so and then offer Salat. This doesn't mean that we sit down with hunger when time is approaching for salaat whiles food is available till when its time for salaat then we decide to eat before salaat then miss jamaat. When salaat time is approaching, check to see if you need to ease yourself or eat before time so that you can join jamaat salaat on time or offer your salaat on time. Whatever we do in life our priority should be to check salaat timings then seek time off to offer our salaat. Don't rely on your jobs to miss salaat please. Speak to your boss you need to offer salaat at such and such times even before you begin your job and by so doing to please ALLAH Azzawajal, HE will bless our income and purify our hearts. We ask Allah to have mercy on us and forgive our past, present and future mistakes in life. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 30th day of Rajab 1446AH, Thursday. 30th Jan. 2025). MEANING OF ALLAH CREATING HUMANS IN HIS OWN IMAGE.  BismilLah. Unfortunately, other faiths have made a serious mistake in trying to compare The CREATOR, ALLAH Azzawajal with HIS Creation human beings in physical appearance, and that's blasphemy and serious error  Sheikh AbuAmina, in one of his articles, explained that, in Islam, we believe that all people have been created in the “image” of ALLAH Azzawajal. But what does this mean? ALLAH Azzawajal is the creator of everything, including all people. That people are in the “image of ALLAH Azzawajal” means they are in the form that HE, ALLAH Azzawajal has chosen and honored for them, not that they resemble ALLAH Azzawajal in physical appearance or share in the Divine Essence. Just as we say a righteous person is the “servant of ALLAH” and a mosque is the “house of ALLAH” as a way to honor them, likewise is it an added dignity for pe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat and Yaumul Aashuura. 10th day of Muharram, 1445AH (Friday, 28th July, 2023). SPECIAL EID DAY FOR US ALL. BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah to you all. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Today mark the day when ALLAH granted Musah alayhi salaam victory over Fir'awn. Today mark the day ALLAH humiliated HIS worse enemy on earth Fir'awn for his disbelief in ALLAH and claiming he was ALLAH. We are all fasting on this blessed day seeking forgiveness from ALLAH for our sins from last year till date as the Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam recommended.  Those who are unable to fast can still do much to earn lots of rewards especially our sisters and daughters in their monthly cycle. You can recite lots of azkaar and give sadaqah with your intention to seek forgiveness from ALLAH. Please remember today is Friday lets strive to go to Masjid early and also remember to send salutations to our...
