DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 20th day of Muharram 1447AH, Tuesday, 15th July 2025.

CAUSES OF RAMPANT DIVORCE IN OUR CONTEMPORARY MARRIAGES. Bismillah.

My dear brothers and sisters in Islam, the subject which I would like to share with you today has been a matter of grave concern to all Muslims, when I look at the Muslim Ummah in the world today and try to project upon the future, it get me frustrated as to the direction our offsprings coming will be going through.

As a husband, your wife MUST be your best friend, your companion in life, your sister in deen and regularly pray that ALLAH Azzawajal bless your daughters and sons to have a good husband better than us and a good wife better than the mother. Ask yourself how your relationship with your wife or husband that your children are learning from.

Let's note that a strong community is made of its’ units, and the unit of a strong community is a strong family but I have been appalled at the rate of divorce among Muslims today. Moreover, I realise that there is so much confusion about the issue of divorce, amongst lay Muslims, and even amongst Islamic Leadership in many Islamic Centres. It's now like a game where men and women jump from one men/women to the other as if we are not accountable for it when we die. Let's fear ALLAH Azzawajal because marriage is a trust from ALLAH Azzawajal and we will be answerable to ALLAH for our actions in our marriages.

I have realised that there are lots of causes which can be pointed at, which have contributed to this rising incidence of divorce amongst Muslims but in Shaa ALLAH, we will remind each other about the most important cause in tomorrow's reminder. To be continued.......

We ask ALLAH Azzawajal to protect us from any satanic influences that can lead us to divorcing our loved ones. Aameen.

Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless. I did not have a place to sleep. I walked in the dark looking for options and, unfortunately, a thief stole my empty purse with my ID. He was badly hit by a car in high speed as he fle...

Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊.
