DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 13th day of Dhul-Qa'dah 1446AH, Sunday, 11th May 2025. SOME BASIC ADVICE FOR THOSE GOING FOR HAJJ. BismilLaah.

Alhamdulillah for HIS invitation and blessings for those performing hajj this year. May ALLAH Azzawajal bless and invite us to be part of those performing next year. Aameen.

Whoever is performing hajj should use for his Hajj or ‘umrah pure wealth (i.e., that which is halaal and earned from halaal sources), because it is narrated in a sound report from the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) that he said: “Verily ALLAH, may HE be exalted, is good and does not accept anything but that which is good (i.e., halaal).” At-Tabaraani narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAH be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of ALLAH (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) said: “If a man sets out as a pilgrim with halaal and pure provision, and puts his foot in the stirrup and calls out ‘Labbayk Allahumma labbayk,’ a caller calls out to him from heaven: ‘May you prosper; your provision is halaal, your mount is halaal, your Hajj will be accepted and your sin will be expiated.’ But if a man sets out with haraam provision, and puts his foot in the stirrup and calls out ‘Labbayk Allahumma labbayk,’ a caller calls out to him from heaven: ‘May you never prosper; your provision is haraam, your spending is haraam, and your Hajj will not be accepted.’” SubhanaAllah.

The pilgrim should show no interest in that which people have and he should refrain from asking of them, because the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) said: “Whoever asks ALLAH to help him to maintain his dignity, ALLAH Azzawajal will help him; and whoever seeks ALLAH’s help to be independent of means, ALLAH will make him independent.” And he (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) said: “A man will keep asking of people until he comes on the Day of Resurrection without a shred of flesh on his face.” SubhanaAllah.

To be continued in shaa ALLAH. May ALLAH Azzawajal grant us the opportunity to be able to perform hajj in our youth time and purify all the hujjaaj. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
