DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 17th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Tuesday,  15th April 2025.

SPIRITUAL MARRIAGE CONSULTATIONS BEFORE MARRIAGE IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN IN ISLAM. BismilLah.

It's a sad reality that upon all the campaigns from our scholars against visiting these evil soothsayers, fortune tellers, so called maalams/pastors etc, you still see some parents and couples going to these evil agents to find out if their marriage will be successful or if they are compatible astaqfirulLah. Where is our eemaan in the Creator who thought us how to marry through the best of mankind Prophet Mohammed sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam?

The ruling on fortune-telling, i.e., soothsaying, and claiming to know the unseen, is that these are actions which condemn a person to Hell and put him/her beyond the pale of Islam.

Fortune-tellers cooperate with the evil jinn; they are liars who cooperate with the shayaateen (devils), who do not help them except after they have changed their religion, and whoever changes his religion [leaves Islam] has actually sold their space in PARADISE and purchased a space in hell ALLAH forbid.

The ruling concerning those who go to them and believe them is that they are guilty of kufr (disbelief); if they do not believe them, the rewards of their prayers for forty days is lost and dying in this is a certificate to hell wa-eeyaazulLah.

The evidence (daleel) is the hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah, according to which the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAAH be upon him) said: Whoever goes to a fortune-teller and believes what he says, has disbelieved in ISLAAM (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 135; Abu Dawood, 3904; Ibn Maajah, 639; Ahmad, 9252.

Also, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), said: Whoever goes to a fortune-teller and asks him about anything, his prayers will not be accepted for forty days. (Narrated by Muslim, 2230). If your prayers will not be accepted, how can your marriage be successful? If ALLAH is not sufficient for you, then I sympathise with you seriously.

May ALLAH Azzawajal keeps guiding and protecting us from such evil invasion in our life. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
