 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 2nd day of Dhul-Qa'dah 1446AH, Wednesday,  30th April 2025. DO NOT CURSE ANYONE ESPECIALLY CHILDREN. BismilLah.  Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH, sallallahu alaihi wasallam, said: وَلَعْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَقَتْلِهِ وَمَنْ رَمَى مُؤْمِنًا بِكُفْرٍ فَهُوَ كَقَتْلِهِ Cursing a believer is like killing him, and charging a believer with unbelief is like killing him. Source: Sahih Bukhari 5754. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: لَا يَنْبَغِي لِصِدِّيقٍ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَعَّانًا It is not befitting a Muslim that they curse others. Source: Sahih Muslim 2597. Let's avoid cursing our kids if we want them to be successful in life.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 1st day of Dhul-Qa'dah 1446AH, Tuesday,  29th April 2025. SEEK HELP ONLY FROM ALLAH AZZAWAJAL. BismilLah.  As Muslims, it's important to keep in mind that ALLAH Azzawajal has ultimate power over all things.  ALLAH Azzawajal says in the Qur’an, “And whosoever fears ALLAH Azzawajal and keeps his duty to HIM, HE will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty.) And HE will provide for him from (sources) he could never imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed, ALLAH has set a measure for all things.” [65:2-3]. ANY ABUSE OR DIFFICULTIES YOU GO THROUGH MAYBE A TRIAL FROM ALLAH AZZAWAJAL BismilLah.  ALLAH Azzawajal says; وَإِذۡ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوۡمِهِ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِذۡ أَنجَىٰكُم مِّنۡ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ يَسُومُونَكُمۡ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ وَيُذَبِّحُونَ أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمۡۚ وَفِى ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ عَظِيمٌ  And [recall, O Children of Israel], when Moses said to his people, "Remember the favor of ALLAH upon you when HE saved you from the people of Pharaoh, who were afflicting you with the worst torment and were slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of panic, stress/worries, etc, are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH Azzawajal.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 26th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Thursday,  24th April 2025. ISLAM between BLASPHEMY and EXTREMISM. This is a sensitive topic, so please be patient with the length and read through for ALLAH Azzawajal sake before jumping into typing aameen. BismilLah.  The general answer to blasphemy as commanded in the Quran is to respond with patience, beautiful preaching, and graceful avoidance. The Quran records the fact that the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was called a “sorcerer,” a “madman,” and a “liar,” yet ALLAH Azzawajal commanded him to be patient and to increase his acts of worship. ALLAH Azzawajal says: وَاصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَاهْجُرْهُمْ هَجْرًا جَمِيلًا Be patient over what they say and avoid them with gracious avoidance. Qur'an 73:10.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 25th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Wednesday,  23rd April 2025. LOVING ONE ANOTHER AND SPREADING PEACE. BismilLah.  Sheikh Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: The Messenger of ALLAH (peace be upon him) said, "By HIM in Whose Hand is my life! You will not enter Jannah until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I inform you of something which, if you do, you will love one another? Promote greetings amongst yourselves." (Riyad as-Saalihin, Book 6, Hadith 4). This is one of my favourite Hadiths.  It's not just saying salaams with your mouth but throughly loving and forgiving each other purely to please ALLAH Azzawajal.  Paradise is not just through our deeds or actions; it is from ALLAH'S Mercy. BismilLah.  This phrase is one of our greatest weapons as Muslims.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 21st day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Saturday,  19th April 2025. LET'S TURN TO ALLAH AZZAWAJAL SINCERELY SEEKING HIS PARADISE. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Qur'an 66:8; يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ امَنُوا تُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَوْبَةً نَّصُوحًا O you who believe! Turn to ALLAH with sincere repentance! meaning, a true, firm repentance that erases the evil sins that preceded it and mend the shortcoming of the repenting person, encouraging and directing him to quit the evil that he used to do. THE IMPORTANCE OF NOT BEING TOO CONCERNED WITH THE MATTERS OF THE WORLDLY LIFE, AND BEING CHARITABLE BEFORE DEATH BismilLah.  ALLAH Azzawajal says in Qur'an 63 vs 9-10,  O you who believe! Let not your properties (wealth) or your children divert you from the remembrance of ALLAH (acts of worship). ALLAH the Exalted orders HIS faithful servants to remember HIM frequently and to refrain from being distracted from HIS remembrance by indulging in our wealth and children excessively. وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَيِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ And whosoever does that, then they are the losers. BismilLah.  ALLAH Azzawajal says in Qur'an 42:20, مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الاْخِرَةِ Whosoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, means, whoever does things for the sake of the Hereafter, نَزِدْ لَهُ فِي حَرْثِهِ ALLAH Azzawajal will give him or her an increase in his or her reward, meaning, `ALLAH will give him or her strength and help him or her  to do what he or she wants to do, and ALLAH will increase it for him or her.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 17th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Tuesday,  15th April 2025. SPIRITUAL MARRIAGE CONSULTATIONS BEFORE MARRIAGE IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN IN ISLAM. BismilLah.  It's a sad reality that upon all the campaigns from our scholars against visiting these evil soothsayers, fortune tellers, so called maalams/pastors etc, you still see some parents and couples going to these evil agents to find out if their marriage will be successful or if they are compatible astaqfirulLah.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 15th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Sunday,  13th April 2025. HATRED IS A SATAN'S ATTRIBUTE, DO NOT BE AN AGENT TO SHEITAN. BismilLah.  As Muslims, it's important we purify our hearts and intentions for ALLAH Azzawajal sake. We should be sad to see someone disobey ALLAH Azzawajal, then instead of criticising the person, make dua for ALLAH Azzawajal to forgive and guide the person. Hatred towards another Muslim is a major crime. None of us is sinless, so criticise yourself always, not others. We can hate someone's wrongs and make dua for them but must not hate the person himself, bcs yours may be worse, but ALLAH Azzawajal is concealing from the public.  You may dislike someone and hate what he or she has done or is doing, if you can't talk to them or stop them peacefully then only hate the act in your heart without backbiting or slandering them.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 14th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Saturday,  12th April 2025. QUR'AN AS A GUIDE TO MANKIND. BismilLah.  ALLAH, the Creator of the UNIVERSE, did not create us and left us to find our own ways of life. ALLAH Azzawajal created mankind with guidance to follow towards returning to HIM successfully. We must study the guidance as a matter of urgency. It's not an option, but it's compulsory for anyone of us to study the guidance which is the Qur'an and Sunnah from an authentic source of knowledge else we could be deviated from the guidance and end us into the trap of Shaitan into the hell fire.  Some of the many examples in the Quran can be obtained from Qur'an 3:100-104.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 13th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Friday,  11th April 2025. HOW TO HANDLE THE WASWAS (Evil Whisperings) ESPECIALLY IN OUR SALAAT. BismilLah.  Sometimes, during salaat or after salaat, you start having some whispering that your salaat is incomplete or not correct or doubt if ALLAH had accepted. There are many prophetic ways to deal with such evil whisperings.  1. Whenever any doubt/waswas arises, assure yourself that your Salaah, Wudhu, Ghusl, and everything else are correct and valid regardless of what comes to mind. As a remedy, assure yourself that every action of mine is valid irrespective of the evil whisperings. This may be difficult for the first few times, and it will become much easier after effort and hard work. You just need to keep studying, especially the right way to offer our salaat.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 12th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Thursday,  10th April 2025. RULINGS ON OBSERVING THE THIRD, FORTIETH DAY AFTER THE DEATH OF A RELATIVE continues. BismilLah. First of all, it's my hope that many have already completed their 6t Shaw'waal fasting or on it. Today is Thursday and 13th to 15th fasting, also start tomorrow, so let's  not miss this golden opportunity to fast till Monday evening be-iznilLah. Back to our topic.  Regardless of who support or does it, let's stay away from this innovation and pray for our dead relatives and all past believers all the time and revive the sunnah of praying for the dead relative immediately after burial at the graveyard without wasting money organising funeral on any other days which also violates the sunnah of not cooking in the house of the deceased which basically means don't waste money and neighbours are to cook and support visitors or relatives mourning their dead who are allowed to ...

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 11th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Wednesday,  8th April 2025. RULINGS ON OBSERVING THE THIRD, FORTIETH DAY AFTER THE DEATH OF A RELATIVE. BismilLah. Our Scholars based on Quran and Sunnah have stated that offering dua or prayers for the deceased after his burial is Sunnah, because of the report narrated by Abu Dawood (3221) from the hadeeth of ‘Uthmaan ibn ‘Affaan (may ALLAH Azzawajal be pleased with him) who said: When the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) had finished burying a deceased person, he would stand over him and say: “Pray for forgiveness for your brother, and ask that he be made steadfast, for he is being questioned now.”  Offering dua’ for the deceased Muslims in general, and for close relatives in particular, is also prescribed in general terms at any time, without specifying any particular time meaning we should make dua for our dead relatives and Muslims all the time but not a funeral as the kuffar does....

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 9th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Monday,  6th April 2025.  SOME STEPS TO PROTECT US FROM SATAN'S RETURN. BismilLah.  Don't make the Quran a decoration piece until next Ramadan. Let's try our best each day to recite the Quran at least 30 minutes as minimum. We should also try to understand the meaning of what we read. If we don't do this, then we can't understand what it is that ALLAH Azzawajal is talking to us about. And of course, if you can not recite properly,  that's self abuse. As such, you must make it a priority to find a teacher to teach you. There is no justification that you can read English text but can not recite the Quran. It's never too late to learn to recite the qur'an and striving to understand the meaning.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 8th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Sunday,  6th April 2025 SERIOUS WARNING. BismilLah. One of the beauties of Islam is that it teaches everything that will improve and reform mankind, including how to remove impurities by cleaning oneself properly after urinating or defecating. But some people are very careless and negligent about this matter and allow their clothes and bodies to become contaminated, thus causing their prayers to be invalidated. The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH Azzawajal be upon him) told us that this is one of the causes for the punishment in the grave. Ibn 'Abbaas said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) passed by one of the gardens of Madeenah and heard the sound of two men being punished in their graves. The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: "They are being punished, but they are not being punished for any major sin. One of them used not to clean himself properly ...

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 6th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Friday,  4th April 2025 HOW TO REMAIN STEADFAST IN ISLAM AFTER RAMADAN. BismilLah. Islam is a complete way of life till death, not only in Ramadhan. It's sad that Ramadhan is gone, so we must remind ourselves that we are Muslims of all times, not only in Ramadhan, and we have the Quran to guide us through all times.  The Quran is the main means for one to remain steadfast, and attachment to it preserves and safeguards a person during trials. ALLAH Azzawajal Says: “And those who disbelieve say: ‘Why was the Quran not revealed to him all at once?’ Thus [it is] that ALLAH may strengthen thereby your heart. And ALLAH has spaced it distinctly.” [Quran 25: 32].  Why is the Quran a means for steadfastness? Stay tuned to the reminder tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. What the Qur’an, Sunnah, and the righteous early generations (The Salaf) agreed upon on this topic is that faith consists of both words and deeds, and may increase and decrease; there is no faith unless it is accompanied by actions. Saying I am a Muslim is not enough, my brothers and sisters. We must act to earn that title of A MUSLIM. We must SHOW to non Muslims what Islam is all about, not by telling them or by our dress code. It's a sad reality that we find many Muslims indulging in haraam actions knowing those actions are haraam, but no one dare to talk to them.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 4th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Wednesday,  2nd April, 2025 PURIFICATION OF THE SOUL. BismilLah.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes  to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89.  We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah for guiding and blessing us to be part of the blessed month of Ramadhan. Many Muslims couldn't fast due to genuine reasons, and some ignored it without any genuine reasons. May ALLAH Azzawajal guide those Muslims from any satanic influences. Aameen.  It's important we don't delay any acts of worship that can get us closer to ALLAH Azzawajal. Those who missed any days in Ramadhan should start fasting now without delaying it unless with genuine reasons.
