DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-Khamis, 2nd day of RabeeulAwwal, 1446AH (Thursday, 5th September 2024). LET'S STRIVE TO PLEASE ONLY ALLAH. BismilLah.

In an authentic hadith, Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “He who displeases ALLAH for seeking the pleasure of people, ALLAH is displeased with such person and those people will also be displeased, And he who pleases ALLAH, although by it he displeases people, ALLAH will be pleased with such person, and also those people whom he had displeased will be pleased for pleasing ALLAH.

This is a wonderful hadith which simplifies life immensely for us. It is impossible to please everybody all the time. In fact, it is even impossible to please one person all the time. ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) tells us that instead of constantly trying to please a person or people, we should direct all our efforts to pleasing HIM, and HE will take care of all the rest. Many a times we shy away from obeying ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala), fearing repercussions at the workplace or in our relationships. This hadith warns us against disobeying ALLAH for the sake of HIS Creatures. In the long run, none of those people will be pleased with us for whom we disobeyed ALLAH (subhana wa ta'ala).

May ALLAH forgive our shortcomings and protect us from such ignorance. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 9th day of Muharram (Friday 28th August 2020). ACTS THAT CAN EARN US PARADISE. BismilLah.  As Muslims we must always learn and implement actions that can earn us the Pleasure of ALLAH our CREATOR in return for HIS Paradise awaiting HIS sincere servants.  Some of the things that can get us closer to ALLAH are , fasting regularly, Obedience to ALLAH, HIS Messenger, Our Parents etc. following funeral procession of a Muslim, feeding poor people, visiting sick people regularly etc.  Abu Huraira (Radhiallahu 'anhu) reported, that ALLAH'S Messenger (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said: “Who is fasting today?” Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) (again) said: Who has followed a funeral procession today? Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam - the Holy Prophet) again said: Who amongst you has served food to the needy today Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...

BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah to you all. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Today mark the day when ALLAH granted Musah alayhi salaam victory over Fir'awn. Today mark the day ALLAH humiliated HIS worse enemy on earth Fir'awn for his disbelief in ALLAH and claiming he was ALLAH. We are all fasting on this blessed day seeking forgiveness from ALLAH for our sins from last year till date as the Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam recommended.  Those who are unable to fast can still do much to earn lots of rewards especially our sisters and daughters in their monthly cycle. You can recite lots of azkaar and give sadaqah with your intention to seek forgiveness from ALLAH. Please remember today is Friday lets strive to go to Masjid early and also remember to send salutations to our...
