DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 28th day of Dhul-Qa'adah, 1445AH (Wednesday 5th June 2024). OFFERING OUR SALAAT ONTIME. BismilLah.

We all know there are five pillars of Islam; Salah is one and most important Pillar of Islam after Shahaadah. When someone prays he is known to be Muslim because he is worshipping ALLAH Almighty who is his creator and the Lord of everything in this world and Hereafter too and whoever chooses not to offer their 5 daily salaat has nullified his or her claim to be Muslim. Salah is an Arabic word and its basic meaning is to worship or praying. It’s obligatory on every Muslim to pray five times in a day and Most importantly ON TIME. In the Holy Quran, ALLAH Almighty says: “Guard strictly your (habit of) prayers… If you fear (salaat time elapsing), pray on foot, or riding. ”(Quran 2:238-9). Search for the commentary of this verse to understand the importance of praying on time.

Salah has many benefits one of them is that it’s the way of communication with ALLAH Almighty and also it restrains one from doing evil deeds. Purpose of Salah is to bring ourselves in touch with ALLAH Almighty; to intensify our relationship with HIM; to be grateful for all HIS blessings, and to remind ourselves of HIS Greatness. Just as the body requires physical needs such as food and water, the soul has spiritual needs and our spiritual need is to pray Salah on time.

ALLAH the Most High says in Holy Quran about Salah: “But after them there followed a posterity who missed Prayers and followed after lusts soon, then, will they face destruction, except those who repent and believe, and work righteousness.” (Quran, 19: 59-60). From this verse, we came to know that by missing prayer does not mean that someone is not praying at all it means not praying on its due time. In shaa ALLAH I will share with you in tomorrow's reminder proof from the Quran and Sunnah that praying ontime is the most important part of the salaat not just about praying whenever we wish. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and aid us to offer our salaat ontime. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
