 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm al-ithnayn. 19th day of Dhul-Qa'adah, 1445AH (Monday 27th May 2024).

HUGE DOWRIES/MAHAR, AN OBSTACLE TO MARRIAGE CONTINUES. Bismillah.

Let's continue from the reminder yesterday; please note that our parents errors in delaying our marriages are not a chance to commit crimes against our souls.

The command to maintain chastity, for those who cannot afford to get married is to be found in the verse in which ALLAH , may HE be exalted, says:

“But let them who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until ALLAH enriches them from HIS bounty”[an-Noor 24:33].

This abstention that is enjoined in this verse is also mentioned in the verses in which ALLAH, May HE be exalted, says

“Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, ALLAH is Acquainted with what they do” an-Noor 24:30.

“And do not approach unlawful sexual intercourse. Indeed, it is ever an immorality and is evil as a way”

[al-Israa’ 17:32],

The Muslim is either able to afford to get married, in which case he must get married, or he is unable to afford the expenses of marriage, in which case he must abstain and remain chaste by means of fasting, lowering the gaze and keeping away from temptation, until ALLAH makes it easy for him to get married. We the men must take some blame for parents making it difficult for their daughters to marry the cheap or easy way because many just fail in taking care of their wife/wives. Please remember that if you want your daughter to get good husband then be a good husband to someone's daughter and remember she is your Muslim sister and no one is perfect so let's be patient with our wives and take good care of them purely to please ALLAH without blaming their shortcomings.

May ALLAH keep guiding us all and aid us to be able to cater for our wives and also marry more if we can, to ease the pressure on our single sisters. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 30th day of Rajab 1446AH, Thursday. 30th Jan. 2025). MEANING OF ALLAH CREATING HUMANS IN HIS OWN IMAGE.  BismilLah. Unfortunately, other faiths have made a serious mistake in trying to compare The CREATOR, ALLAH Azzawajal with HIS Creation human beings in physical appearance, and that's blasphemy and serious error  Sheikh AbuAmina, in one of his articles, explained that, in Islam, we believe that all people have been created in the “image” of ALLAH Azzawajal. But what does this mean? ALLAH Azzawajal is the creator of everything, including all people. That people are in the “image of ALLAH Azzawajal” means they are in the form that HE, ALLAH Azzawajal has chosen and honored for them, not that they resemble ALLAH Azzawajal in physical appearance or share in the Divine Essence. Just as we say a righteous person is the “servant of ALLAH” and a mosque is the “house of ALLAH” as a way to honor them, likewise is it an added dignity for pe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
