 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Ahad. 29th day of Sha’abaan, 1445AH (Sunday, 10th March 2024).

SOME CONDITIONS TO FULFILL FOR ALLAH TO ANSWER OUR DUA. BismilLah.

In shaa ALLAH Ramadhan may start tomorrow subject to moon sightings this evening. Ramadhan is a blessed month, but our dua may be wasted if we do not change our ways of life.

Why our dua may not even reach ALLAH, which most of us may know but as ALLAH says, reminders only benefit believers as such we must remind each other regularly because it's a serious issue.

Let's note that Dua or seeking favour or mercy from the most HIGH, ALLAH is like a weapon, and a weapon is only as good as the person who is using it; it is not merely the matter of how sharp it is. If the weapon is perfect and free of faults, and the arm of the person using it is strong, and there is nothing stopping him, he has experience in using the weapon then he can lay waste the enemy or his target without fail. But if any of these features are lacking, then the effect will be lacking accordingly.”

We must learn to address ALLAH through respect and pure heart. ALLAH is the most HIGH as such, HE accepts nothing unless it's pure. There are etiquettes and rulings that must be fulfilled, in the du’aa’ and in the person making the du’aa’. There are also things that may prevent the du’aa’ reaching ALLAH or being answered. These things must be removed from the person making the du’aa’ and from the du’aa’. When all of these conditions are fulfilled, then the du’aa’ will be answered in Shaa ALLAH. ALLAH has assured us that HE will respond to our Dua but how do we do it? On what condition? How is our relationship with HIM in the first place? Do we fulfill HIS rights? Do we obey HIS rules? Do we earn our sustenance the halaal way? Do we pray on time? Do we respect and obey our parents, elders, neighbors? These are few to ponder upon if we are seriously seeking help from ALLAH. Acts of worship are not only what we say but how we act. Whatever you do please fear death bcs it doesn't matter who you are and how old you are, death is a certainty so put your pride and arrogance aside and go back to the basics in striving to please ALLAH only. ALLAH can be worshipped properly ONLY with knowledge, so let's seek knowledge or ask the learned for whatever we do. ALLAH has commanded us to be sincere when making du’aa. Sincerity in du’aa’ means having the firm belief that the One upon Whom you are calling, ALLAH, may HE be glorified and exalted, is alone Able to meet your need, and it also means avoiding any kind of showing off in your du’aa’.

Sin is one of the main reasons why du’aa’s are not answered, so the person who is making du’aa’ should hasten to repent and seek forgiveness before he makes du’aa’. The reason why du’aa’ is not answered may be because you do something that ALLAH has forbidden, such as having haraam wealth, whether it be food or drink or clothing or accommodation or transportation, or  taken a haraam job, or the stain of sin is still in the heart, or following bid’ah (innovation) in religion etc. Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of ALLAAH (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “O people, ALLAAH is Good and only accepts that which is good. ALLAAH commanded the pious to follow the same commandments as HE gave to the Messengers. HE says;

‘O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods which ALLAAH has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits)] and do righteous deeds. Verily, I am Well-Acquainted with what you do’ [al-Mu’minoon 23:51].

‘O you who believe (in the Oneness of ALLAAH, Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that I have provided you with’ [al-Baqarah 2:172].

Another important point is to realize that the response to the du’aa’ may take different forms: either ALLAAH will respond and fulfil the desire of the person who made the du’aa’, or He will ward off some evil from him because of the du’aa’, or HE will make something good easy for him to attain because of it, or HE will save it with HIM for him on the Day of Resurrection when he will be most in need of it.

May ALLAH have mercy on our ignorance and keep guiding us till Jannatul Firdaus becomes our final abode. Aameen.

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
