THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 25th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Tuesday, 6th February 2024). MEANING OF TEST AND TRIALS FROM ALLAAH continues. BismilLah.

Let's continue with our reminder yesterday. ALLAAH Says:

“*_And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship ME_*” [Qur’an 51:56]:

What does this verse mean, “except to worship ME?”: it broadly means so that I may enjoin on them that they should worship ME and I will test them; that is, I will test them with religious duties, then I will repay them for their deeds: if their deeds are good, then the outcome will be good, and if their deeds are evil, then the outcome will be bad. This is a choice ALLAH had offered us, and HE already knows who will choose to obey or not and wrote it down in advance. To ALLAH, our lifestyle is like a review of a football match that has already been played and been recorded.

The only reason why some scholars say that this is what the verse means is because this is indicated by many clear verses in the Book of ALLAH. ALLAH clearly stated in several verses of HIS Book that HE created us in order to test us as to which of us is best in deed, and that HE will repay us for our deeds.

ALLAH, may HE be exalted, says at the beginning of Soorat al-Kahf.

“Indeed, ALLAH have made that which is on the earth adornment for it that HE may test them [as to] which of them is best in deed”[al-Kahf 18:7].

These verses clearly state that the wisdom behind HIS creation of mankind is to test them as to which of them is best in deed, and this explains the word “except to worship ME ” [adh-Dhaariyaat 51:56], because the best thing to explain the Qur’an is the Qur’an. Now that we know we are here to be tested and tried, can we afford to be complacent about our religious duties?

May ALLAH grant us the understanding of the Qur'an and aid us to apply its teachings in our ways of life. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless. I did not have a place to sleep. I walked in the dark looking for options and, unfortunately, a thief stole my empty purse with my ID. He was badly hit by a car in high speed as he fle...

Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊.
