 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Wednesday, 20th December, 2023). USING OUR GOOD DEEDS IN SUPPLICATING TO ALLAH FOR A FAVOUR. Bismillah.


In Sahih Bukhari, Volume 8,  Book 73, Number 5, it was narrated by 

 Abdullah ibn Omar (may ALLAH be pleased with him): ‘I heard ALLAH’s Messenger (SAWS) saying:

Three persons of people before you were on a journey when they were overtaken by a storm, and therefore, they took shelter in a cave. A rock slipped down from the mountain and blocked the exit from a cave.


In summary, they identified the only way for them is to make dua using their good deeds. One of them made dua based on how he served his old age parents, the second made dua based on the sadaqah he gave for free whilst initially wanting to have sexual intercourse with a lady he loved so much who came to him for help and wanted to use that advantage but feared ALLAH and let her go. The third made dua using the justice he made when he used his labourer's money to make more money as an investment and when the labourer came back for his money he gave all the outcomes of the investment. The rock then moved away, and all three came out of the cave safe and sound.  ALLAHU AKBAR. This hadith has demonstrated that we can supplicate with our good deeds seeking help from ALLAH so let's do good deeds only to please ALLAH so that when we are in any trouble we can go to our knees to seek help from ALLAH with our good deeds. May ALLAH accept our dua through His Rahmah. Aameen.

BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah to you all. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Today mark the day when ALLAH granted Musah alayhi salaam victory over Fir'awn.
