THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Jumuat. 17th day of Jumaadal Awwal, 1445AH (Friday, 1st December, 2023). CURE for DEPRESSION continues. Bismillah.

Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah brothers and sisters in Islam. AlhamdulilLah for blessing us to be part of this blessed day of the week. In yesterday's reminder, we reminded each other that love for ALLAH and obeying HIS commands is more than enough to aid us against depression.

If you truly love ALLAH then you cannot give up even if you fail doing something good multiply times because you know our ALLAH is forever Merciful to those who regret and repent.

So imagine you missed fajr again? this must depress you if you are indeed a Muslim with eemaan but can you kill yourself because of missing fajir again? what I can tell you is that, don’t let shaiytaan get into your head and convince you to miss other prayers as well. That’s one of his clever strategies. Feeling bad after sinning/ missing a prayer is good. It shows your inner conscience is still alive.

But feeling so bad that you end up in a cycle of self-loathe and sinning more (convincing yourself that you can never be forgiven by ALLAH or that you don’t deserve to be happy now that you have sinned etc)  is not Islam-that’s all Shaiytan. For the Muslims trying to be better, Shaiytaan keeps a close track record of their activities. The moment they slip or make a mistake, Shaiytaan sneaks into their heads with his evil whispers causing some into depression.

ALLAH ALMIGHTY says: “And never give up hope of ALLAH’s soothing MERCY: truly no one despairs of ALLAH’s soothing mercy, except those who have no faith.” [Surah Yusuf 12: Ayah 87].

So dear fellow Muslims, don’t let past mistakes define you. Don’t let repeated mistakes define you. The only thing that should define you, is your niyyah (intention). Be full of hope in ALLAH and that alone can prevent you from any form of depression. To be continued tomorrow in shaaALLAH. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
