THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YawmulAhad. 7th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1445AH (Sunday, 22nd October, 2023). ISLAMIC SOLUTION TO RESOLVING CONFLICTS CONTINUES . BismilLah.

Islamic scholars had developed a number of legal structures and institutions, using a variety of techniques to resolve conflicts amicably, and achieve peace based on their Knowledge of the Quran and Sunnah.  Among these are the following:

1. Appointment of a Justice of Peace (Qadi as Sulh) to oversee the processes of mediation, arbitration, and reconciliation to achieve settlement and peace.

2. Parties in conflict have the option of resolving their dispute through a Wasta or third-party mediator who would ensure that all parties were satisfied with the outcome.

3. Other practices could use tahkeem, or using intermediaries to represent the parties. These intermediaries should be able to represent the parties' position as clearly as possible to negotiate on their behalf, and guarantee that the parties receive a fair settlement.

A settlement could include a. Financial compensation, b. Service to the family, c. Service to the community, and d. Specific gestures of sympathy, or public demonstration of reconciliation.

These procedures and relevant structures need be revived and further developed utilizing all possible modern techniques. There are a number of organizations currently involved in conflict resolution. Others provide training for solving interpersonal problems and helping resolve issues within a family.

In order to resolve wider conflicts, it is essential that the peace-building efforts of civil-society organizations that already exist within the your community and in Muslim countries are adequately supported. This should go along with addressing the economic -political stagnation, and powerlessness of Muslim societies . As well as remedying the historical memories of violence and conflict from the times of Crusades and colonialism, past and present.

It is worth mentioning that within Islamic societies there exists a great diversity of traditions, cultures, and opinions that could be used to enrich the possibilities for pursuing peace-building efforts and resolving all existing conflicts. May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 30th day of Rajab 1446AH, Thursday. 30th Jan. 2025). MEANING OF ALLAH CREATING HUMANS IN HIS OWN IMAGE.  BismilLah. Unfortunately, other faiths have made a serious mistake in trying to compare The CREATOR, ALLAH Azzawajal with HIS Creation human beings in physical appearance, and that's blasphemy and serious error  Sheikh AbuAmina, in one of his articles, explained that, in Islam, we believe that all people have been created in the “image” of ALLAH Azzawajal. But what does this mean? ALLAH Azzawajal is the creator of everything, including all people. That people are in the “image of ALLAH Azzawajal” means they are in the form that HE, ALLAH Azzawajal has chosen and honored for them, not that they resemble ALLAH Azzawajal in physical appearance or share in the Divine Essence. Just as we say a righteous person is the “servant of ALLAH” and a mosque is the “house of ALLAH” as a way to honor them, likewise is it an added dignity for pe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat and Yaumul Aashuura. 10th day of Muharram, 1445AH (Friday, 28th July, 2023). SPECIAL EID DAY FOR US ALL. BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah to you all. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Today mark the day when ALLAH granted Musah alayhi salaam victory over Fir'awn. Today mark the day ALLAH humiliated HIS worse enemy on earth Fir'awn for his disbelief in ALLAH and claiming he was ALLAH. We are all fasting on this blessed day seeking forgiveness from ALLAH for our sins from last year till date as the Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam recommended.  Those who are unable to fast can still do much to earn lots of rewards especially our sisters and daughters in their monthly cycle. You can recite lots of azkaar and give sadaqah with your intention to seek forgiveness from ALLAH. Please remember today is Friday lets strive to go to Masjid early and also remember to send salutations to our...
