THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 20th day of Shaw'waal, 1444AH (Wednesday, 10th May, 2023).
DEBT MANAGEMENT IN ISLAM. BismilLah.
We recite in the Qur'an that; "Whosoever fears ALLAAH and keeps his duty to HIM, HE will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And HE will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in ALLAH, then HE will suffice him. Verily, ALLAH will accomplish his purpose. Indeed, ALLAH has set a measure for all things”[Quran 65:2-3].
The Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) taught one of his companions that "And if you have debt like the mountain of Seer, ALLAH will support you yo pay it off. He said: ‘Say:
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكْ
Allaahumma akfini bi halaalika ‘an haraamika wa aghnini bi fadlika ‘amman siwaaka (O ALLAH, suffice me with what You have permitted so that that I have no need of that which You have forbidden, and make me independent of means by Your bounty so that I have no need of anyone besides You).’” Saheeh al-Tirmidhi 3563. Unfortunately, our sins are making it impossible for this kind of powerful dua to even reach ALLAH left alone been answered.
May ALLAH aid us to be able to pay off our debts and protect us from debts. Aameen.
