THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaathaah. 9th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Tuesday 31st January. 2023). DO NOT SPEAK WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Qur'an 17:36; And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those will be questioned. Ali bin Abi Talhah reported that Ibn Abbas said: "(This means) do not say (anything of which you have no knowledge)." "It means bearing false witness." "Do not say, I have seen', when you did not see anything, or `I have heard', when you did not hear anything, or `I know', when you do not know, for ALLAH will ask you about all of that." ALLAH forbids speaking without knowledge and only on the basis of suspicion, which is mere imagination and illusions. As ALLAH says: اجْتَنِبُواْ كَثِيراً مِّنَ الظَّنِّ ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 8th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Monday 30th January. 2023). ORIGINAL SIN IS NOT PART OF ISLAM. BismilLah.  Salvation is a powerful word that the dictionary defines as the act of preservation or deliverance from destruction, difficulty, or evil.  Theologically it is a spiritual rescue from sin and its consequences.  More specifically, in Christianity, it is associated with redemption and the atonement of Issah alaihi salaam strange to the teachings of Jesus Christ peace be upon him.  Salvation in Islam is a very different concept.  While it does offer deliverance from the fires of hell, it also rejects some of the basic principles of Christianity and states clearly that salvation is attained only through submission to the Most Merciful, ALLAH as Issah alaihi salaam also taught his companions. When someone asked Jesus Christ (Issah alaihi salaam) about salvation, what was his response? Read Mathew 19:16-17 where Jesus ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 7th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Sunday 29th January. 2023). ISLAM DESTROY PAST SINS. BismilLah. ALLAAH made Islam to destroy the sins that came before it. When a disbeliever becomes Muslim, ALLAH forgives all that he or she did when he was a non-Muslim, and he becomes cleansed of sin.  In Swaheeh Muslim (121) narrated that ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas (may ALLAH be pleased with him) said: When ALLAH put Islam in my heart, I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAAH be upon him) and said: “Give me your right hand so that I may swear allegiance to you.” He held out his hand and I withdrew my hand. He said, “What is the matter, O ‘Amr?” I said, “I want to stipulate a condition.” He said, “What do you want to stipulate?” I said, “That I will be forgiven.” He said, “Do you not know that Islam destroys that which came before it?”  “Islam destroys that which came before it” means that it erases it and wipes it out. Stated by al-Nawawi in Sharh M...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-As-Sabt. 6th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Saturday 28th January. 2023). ARE WE PRACTICING THE SUNNAH BY MOUTH OR ACTION? . BismilLah.  Keeping silent when Angry: The Messenger of ALLAAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: "If any of you becomes angry, let him keep silent." (Reported by Imaam Ahmad, al-Musnad, 1/329; see also Saheeh al-Jaami’, 693, 4027). This is because in most cases, the angry person loses self-control and could utter words of kufr (from which we seek refuge with ALLAH), or curses, or the word of divorce (talaaq) which would destroy his home, or words of slander which would bring him the enmity and hatred of others. So, in short, keeping silent is the solution which helps one to avoid all that. This is not new to almost all readers BUT  do we implement this knowledge in our daily lives? I guess I'm right to say NO including myself, That's why ALLAH commanded us to remind each other regularly so that it can ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 5th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Friday 27th January. 2023). SALAAT ALAN NABI.    BismilLah. Indeed, ALLAH confers blessing upon the Prophet, and HIS ANGELS [ask HIM to do so too]. O you who have believed, ask ALLAH to confer blessing upon him and ask Allah to grant him peace. Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Laila: Ka'b bin 'Ujrah met me and said, "Shall I not give you a present I got from the Prophet (sallalLaahuAlaihiWasallam)?" 'Abdur-Rahman said, "Yes, give it to me." He said, "We asked ALLAH'S Messenger saying, 'O ALLAH'S Messenger! How should one ask ALLAH to send As-Salat upon you and the Ahl-al-Bait (the members of the family of the Prophet), for ALLAH has taught us how to greet you in the Qur'an?' He said, 'S...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis. 4th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 26th January. 2023). THE RIGHT WAY TO INTERPRET THE ATTRIBUTES OF ALLAH BismilLah.  My apologies for the delay in sharing. I'm feeling sick that's why so please remember me and all sick brothers and sisters in your dua.  As Muslims, it's important to understand that the correct belief should be based on what is proven in the Qur’an and Sunnah, as understood by the early generations (salaf) of this ummah, namely the Swahaabah, Taabi‘een and leading scholars. They unanimously agreed that the divine attributes mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah are to be affirmed without discussing how or likening HIM to HIS CREATION, and without denying any of HIS attributes or interpreting them in a way different from the apparent meaning. We do not differentiate between any of the divine attributes, no matter what category they come under. Every divine attribute that is mentioned in a saheeh text must be affi...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 3rd day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Wednesday 25th January. 2023). HOW TO KNOW WHO ALLAH IS. BismilLah.  In order to worship ALLAH you must strive to know HIM. And to do that You must study HIS attributes. We are actually REQUIRED to know ALLAH.  Whenever anything other than ALLAH is in our hearts, whenever any other than ALLAH is the ONE WHOM we love and submit to, then we invite corruption into our hearts and it leads to our destruction. Knowing that ALLAH is the cause of life for the individual is the second birth that every person who believes in ALLAH will experience. There is no doubt that knowing ALLAH is the greatest and noblest of knowledge. It is the ilm (the beneficial knowledge) we are encouraged to seek. When you learn about ALLAH, you are learning about the purpose of your existence. You are learning about living a life set on the right course. Are we ready to know HIM then let us us study HIS attributes from now.  May A...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 2nd day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Tuesday 24th January. 2023). THE MERCY OF ALLAH. BismilLah.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH's Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Whoever says, 'Laa ilaaha illallahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadir,' one hundred times, will get the same reward as given for manumitting ten slaves; and one hundred good deeds will be written in his accounts, and one hundred sins will be deducted from his accounts, and it (his saying) will be a shield for him from Satan on that day till night, and nobody will be able to do a better deed except the one who does more than he." The meaning is: None has the right to be worshipped but ALLAH (Alone) Who has no partner; to HIM belongs the kingdom (of the universe), and for HIM are all the praises, and HE has the power to do everything. [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 8/6403]. ALLAHU ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 1st day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Monday 23rd January. 2023). THE THREE MAJOR SINS TO STAY AWAY FROM. BismilLah.  Imam Al-Bukhaari narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAH be pleased with them all) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) said: “No adulterer is a believer at the time when he is committing adultery; no thief is a believer at the time when he is stealing; no drinker of wine is a believer at the time when he is drinking it.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (5578) and Muslim (57). From the above, we can't belittle any of these 3 major sins as you may die as a disbeliever committing these sins Astaqfirullah.  May ALLAH protect us and our offsprings from such unfortunate ending. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 29th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Sunday 22nd January. 2023). LET'S REVIVE THE SUNNAH. BismilLah. ALLAH’s Messenger (May peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A house will be built in Paradise for one who offers 12 Rak'aat in a day and evening as follows: 4 Rak'aat before and 2 after the Dhuhr Prayer, 2 after the Maghrib Prayer, 2 after the ‘Ishaa’ Prayer and 2 before the Fajr Prayer." Narrated by Imam at-Tirmizi No. 380.  The 4 rakaats before zuhur and asr have two tashahhud but one tasleem at the end.   The ‘Asr (Late-Afternoon) Prayer has no routine Sunnah (basic recommended voluntary prayer). However, it is mustahabb (preferable and recommended) that one prays 4 Rak'aat before the ‘Asr Prayer. The 4 Rak'ahs are the ones intended by the Prophet (May peace and blessings be upon him) in saying: "May ALLAH have mercy on one who prays 4 raka’aat before the ‘Asr Prayer." Narrated by at-Tirmidhi no. 395...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 28th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Saturday 21st January. 2023). CAN I KISS/HUG MY ADULT DAUGHTER/ SISTER ETC. BismilLah. Scholars based on QUR'AN and Sunnah has ruled that, for a man to embrace and hug his daughter/ sister, or kiss her on the head or cheek or between the eyes by way of showing compassion, kindness and love is permissible and recommended, even if she is an adult, on condition that there be no fear of fitnah or provocation of desire. Excluded from that is kissing on the mouth or any sensitive area, which is only for spouses, and usually provokes desire.  Let's be careful as shaitan is an open enemy who can cause us to commit a grave sin against ourselves as we see and hear happening on daily basis fathers impregnating their daughters, brothers impregnating their biological sisters etc. astaghfirullah. ALLAH has warned us not to go near Zina in Quran 17 vs 32. HE didn't say don't do it, he says don't go nea...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 27th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Friday 20th January. 2023). NOURISHMENT OF OUR SPIRITUAL BEING, THE SOUL BismilLah. We all know that ALLAH created the body from the dust of the earth So, its nourishment that's food and drink comes from the earth provided by ALLAH, the Creator.  Our SOUL comes from ALLAH as such the nourishment of the soul which is more important comes from ALLAH directly and will go back to ALLAH when we die without the body as the body goes back to the earth till judgement day when ALLAH will create a new body for each soul.  The nourishment of the soul without any doubt is the Holy Quran, words of ALLAH, spirituality, our connection with ALLAH and Ibadaat (acts of worship). ALLAH says in the Qur'an to the nearest meaning that Verily, in the remembrance of ALLAH, do hearts find rest or peace (QUR'AN 13:28).  Regardless of our busy schedules to try and feed the body, let's not forget the most important...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis. 26th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Thursday 19th January. 2023). YOU WANT JANNATUL FIRDAUS? THEN INVEST MORE FOR IT. BismilLah.  All of us will prefer Jannatul Firdaus nothing less right? Why are we content with our little good deeds? We must strive more to please ALLAH for HIS Jannatul Firdaus. Don't say I don't mind getting any level of Jannat else you will miss seeing the Messenger of ALLAH and his companions trust me.  Our beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) told us that ALLAH loves high ambitions: “ Indeed, ALLAH is Beautiful and HE loves beauty. And HE loves high ambitions and dislikes lowly ambitions.” (Sahih Jami’ 1743).  So if you want ALLAH to love you, start aiming high! Aim for the greatest good deeds and the greatest achievements that you know will earn you the love of ALLAH and HIS pleasure. Steadfastness in SADAQAH,  FASTING, NIGHT PRAYERS, ZIKIR ETC. May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protec...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 25th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Wednesday 18th January. 2023). WHY WE REPEAT AR-RAHMAAN AND AR-RAHEEM IN OUR WORSHIP. BismilLah.  While we should be mindful of ALL of ALLAH’s names and attributes, we call ALLAH by HIS names Ar-Rahman and Ar-Raheem multiple times a day, and those are amongst the names ALLAH chose for us to repeat in every single prayer. What do these names of ALLAH mean? While both are often translated as the Most-Merciful, Ar-Rahman refers to ALLAH as the Owner of immense MERCY for those who choose to worship HIM, while Ar-Raheem refers to ALLAH as the One who bestows HIS MERCY on HIS entire creation even to idol worshipers. Throughout the day ALLAH reminds us of HIS immeasurable MERCY that HE grants us. If HE is telling us HE is so MERCIFUL, why wouldn’t we think of HIM in that way as well? We Muslims should have good thoughts and expectations of ALLAH so that when we err, we don’t fall into despair, and when we ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 24th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Tuesday 17th January. 2023). DO YOU TRULY TRUST IN ALLAH?. BismilLah.  Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH Sallallahu alaihi wasallam told us in an authentic hadith that ALLAH says, “I am to my slave as he thinks of ME.” [Bukhari, Book 97, Hadith 130] This means that if we think positively of ALLAH, in sha ALLAH HE will treat us in such a way. SubhanAllah, this is such a powerful concept! If we think well of ALLAH and remember HIM as the Most-Merciful and Loving, we will be shown the mercy and love of ALLAH, in sha ALLAH. And if we truly believe HE is the accepter of du’as and repentance, HE will accept our du’as and repentance in sha ALLAH. On the other hand, if despite knowing that ALLAH can do anything, someone doubts the power of ALLAH when he needs something, then it is also logical that ALLAH might not grant him that thing because of his negative thoughts. It’s important to know that we shou...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 23rd day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Monday 16th January. 2023). HAVE YOU LOST HOPE IN ALLAH BismilLah.  There is something VERY important that you need to remember always which is the fact that, Shaytan (the accursed devil) has 2 major techniques: 1- To make the sin seem appealing, approachable and easy to do. 2- Once the sin is committed, he makes asking for forgiveness and repentance seem impossible/fake/useless so that the person feels worthless and gives up. So don’t give him that. Be conscious of his techniques, immune and empower yourself. ALLAH says: “[… and despair not of relief from ALLAH. Indeed, no one despairs of relief from ALLAH except the disbelieving people” (Qur’an 12: 87). Giving up and falling in despair is equal to disbelief because if you do that, aren’t you aware that ALLAH'S Name is The Continuously Merciful, The Forgiver, The Accepter of repentance..? These are HIS names and these are HIS attributes and act...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 22nd day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Sunday 15th January. 2023). MAKING DUA BUT THROUGH PATIENCE. BismilLah.  As Muslims, we must remain patient whenever we make dua seeking any help from ALLAH. ALLAH has mentioned in several places in the Quran that within even difficulties you can find ease or solution just as we must dig deep to locate gold, diamonds etc. Let's explore the Quran to study what ALLAH says regarding being patient.  ALLAH says to the nearest meanings: O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, ALLAH is with the patient believers. Surat Al-Baqarah 2:153. Yes, if you remain patient and conscious of ALLAH and the enemy come upon you [attacking] in rage, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand angels having marks [of distinction]. Suurat Al-Imran 3:125. Said Moses to his people, “Seek help through ALLAH and be patient. Indeed, the earth belongs to ALLAH. He causes to inherit it whom...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 21st day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Saturday 14th January. 2023). ENTERING AN EMPTY or VACANT HOME. BismilLaah Abdullah ibn Umar (may ALLAH be pleased with him) said: When someone enters a vacant home, he should say, “BismilLah, As-Salaamu ‘Alaynaa wa ‘Alaa ‘Ibaad-Allah-is-Saliheen” (“Peace be upon us and on the righteous slaves of ALLAH.”). Collected by Bukhari in Adabul Mufrad 1055]. Sheikh Al-Albani (may ALLAH rest him in Jannah) said, “This narration establishes an Islamic regulation for entering a vacant house or your house when no one is inside. This practice coincides with the order of spreading salaams found in some authentic hadeeth. Furthermore, this agrees with the verse, “When you enter your houses greet one another with As-Salaamu Alaikum…[ An-Nur 61]. Therefore based on this verse and narration from Ibn Umar (may ALLAH be pleased with him) Ibn Hajr held it was recommended to say, “Peace be upon us and on the righteous slaves...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 20th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Friday 13th January. 2023). ENCOURAGING GOOD and FORBIDDEN Evil is a COLLECTIVE OBLIGATIONS . BismilLah Muslims at the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him), his Sahabah (Companions of the Prophet) and the Salaf (righteous predecessors) respected this obligation and carried it out in the best manner. Certainly, we the later generations desperately need this obligation to be fulfilled more than the first ones due to the prevalence of ignorance, lack of knowledge and people’s negligence of this mandatory matter. Currently, the matter has become more serious and dangerous since evil, corruption and propagators of falsehood prevail to an unbelievable extent, against the scarcity of callers to goodness in most countries and in most family homes. Therefore, ALLAH (Glorified be HE) ordered and urged Muslims to enjoin good and forbid evil, giving it precedence over eemaan in the Ayah (Qur’anic verse) of Sura...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis. 19th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Thursday 12th January. 2023). IS MY SALAAT VALID IF I NOTICE IMPURITIES ON MY GARMENT AFTER THE SALAAT? BismilLah.  Scholars have ruled based on Quran and Sunnah that ALLAH does not hold us responsible for issues we were not aware of or unintentional mistakes so if you did not know your GARMENT of any type was impure or was contained with urine, sperm or whatever, your salaat is valid and no need to repeat your salaat.  But if you forgot and pray with any impurities from yourself such as after the toilet or after sunnah with your wife or husband then you must purify yourself and pray again but if any impurity such as urine touch you from external sources and you didn't know till after the salaat or you forgot about to wipe or wash it off then your salaat is valid.   May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 18th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Wednesday 11th January. 2023). RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE IN ISLAM. BismilLah.  Our beloved Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu alaihi wasallam to mankind faced many difficulties and opposition in his birthplace, the city of Mecca. He was eventually forced to migrate to Medina. But despite all the opposition and even physical torture that he and his followers suffered in Mecca, Prophet Muhammad always approached the unbelievers of Mecca with tolerance. At one stage of his mission, the Prophet read to them a short chapter from the revelation: “O you who do not believe! I worship not what you worship, and you are not worshipping what I worship, nor am 1 worshipping what you worship; neither art you worshipping what I worship. Therefore, to you your religion; and to me my religion!” (QURAN 109). When Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wasallam migrated to Medina, he found that besides those who had accepted Islam,...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 17th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Tuesday 10th January. 2023). HOW TO DISCIPLINE OURSELVES TOWARDS OBEDIENCE TO ALLAH. BismilLah.  Let's note that ALLAH doesn’t put any blessings in wrongdoings so don't try to survive through haraam means with ANY EXCUSES. If you study Quran and Sunnah well, you will notice that whatever ALLAH offer to us as our sustenance,  Satan also offers something similar so example if ALLAH decides this year your sustenance is 1000ghc, Satan also offers 1000ghc or more haraam means so we either choose ALLAH'S offer through halaal means/jobs or Satan's offer that's why almost all those saakaawa (those who steal online) guys alwayssuffers at the end because theychooses Satan's offer for quick money the haraam ways which have no real benefits. So let's stop any haraam activities that earns us haraam monies such as football betting,riba-basedd businesses, fornication business, killing oth...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 16th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Monday 9th January. 2023). THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH, ARE YOU PREPARED FOR THE NEXT LIFE?. BismilLah.  ALLAH the Almighty says: “ Every soul will taste death. And We test you ˹O humanity˺ with good and evil as a trial, then to Us you will ˹all˺ be returned.” (Quran, 21:15). This short verse summarizes incredibly the story of our existence. ALLAH reminds us first of our mortality, and then HE reveals the reality of this worldly life. It is a test where we will face both good and evil as a trial. And finally, we will return to our Lord. Awareness of one’s mortality will make one hasten towards good deeds and seek forgiveness from ALLAH for one’s evil deeds. May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 15th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Sunday 8th January. 2023). WARNING AND GOOD NEWS FROM OUR CREATOR ALLAH. LET'S LISTENATTENTIVELY. BismilLah.  In Qur'an 79:34-41: ALLAH says, فَإِذَا جَاءتِ الطَّامَّةُ الْكُبْرَى But when there comes the Great Catastrophe. This refers to the Day of Judgement. It has been called this because it will overcome every matter. It will be frightful and horrifying. يَوۡمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا سَعَىٰ  The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, meaning, at that time the Son of Aadam will reflect upon all of his deeds, both the good and the evil. وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلۡجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَىٰ  And Hell shall be made apparent for whoever sees, meaning, it will become apparent for the onlookers, so the people will see it with their own eyes. فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ  Then for him who transgressed, meaning, who rebels and behaves arrogantly. وَءَاثَرَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا  And preferred the...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 14th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Saturday 7th January. 2023). REGARDLESS OF HOW GREAT YOUR SINS ARE AS A MUSLIM,  YOU CAN STILL GO TO PARADISE, NEVER SELL YOUR ISLAMIC FAITH FOR WORLDLY GAINS. BismilLah. Our grandad and grandmum, Aadam and Eve made a mistake but they repented sincerely, and ALLAH  in HIS infinite wisdom and MERCY  forgave them. Humankind is not doomed to be punished, generation after generation.  The sins of the father are not visited upon the sons. ALLAH, Azza Wa Jal says; “Then they both ate of that tree, and so their private parts appeared to them, and they began to stick on themselves the leaves from Paradise for their covering. Thus did Aadam disobey his Lord, so he went astray.  Then his Lord chose him, and turned to him with forgiveness and gave him guidance.” (Quran 20:121-122). Islam teaches us that ALLAH is the most forgiving,  and will go on forgiving, repeatedly as long as we s...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulJumuat. 13th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Friday 6th January. 2023). ETIQUETTES OF VISITING THE SICK. Bismillah.  Visiting the sick does not involve only those whom you know, rather it is prescribed for those whom you know and those whom you do not know.  There is no sin in a man visiting a non-mahram woman, or a woman visiting a non-mahram man, so long as the following conditions are met: proper covering, no risk of fitnah, and no being alone together.  There is no sin in visiting a mushrik kaafir who is sick, if that serves an interest. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) visited a Jewish boy and called him to Islam, and he became Muslim. Narrated by al-Bukhaari (1356). And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was present when his paternal uncle Abu Taalib was dying, and he called him to Islam but he refused. Agreed upon.  Du’aa’ should be made for the sick person in the manner narrat...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 12th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Thursday 5th January. 2023). THE HEAT OF THE SUN ON THAT DAY WILL BE UNBEARABLE, WOULD YOU WANT TO BE UNDER THE SHADE OF ALLAH?BismilLah.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (Sallalahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said, "Seven people will be shaded by ALLAH under HIS Shade on the Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) when there will be no shade except HIS. They are: a) a just ruler; Who ruled with justice for the sake of ALLAH.  b) a young man who has been brought up in the worship of ALLAH [i.e. worships ALLAH (Alone) sincerely from his childhood]; c) a man whose heart is attached to the mosques (who offers the five compulsory congregational prayers in the mosques); d) two persons who love each other only for ALLAH'S sake, and they meet and part in ALLAH'S Cause only; e) a man who refuses the call of a charming woman of noble birth for illegal sexual intercourse with her and say...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 11th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Wednesday 4th January. 2023). THE PROMISE OF ALLAH TO STRIVE FOR. BismilLah. But as for him who feared standing before his Lord and forbade himself from unlawful desire. Verily Paradise will be his abode. meaning, he fears standing before ALLAH, he fears ALLAH'S judgment of him, he prevents his soul from following its unlawful desires, and he compels it to obey its Master. His final abode, his destination, and his place of return will be the spacious Paradise. ALLAHU AKBAR.  May ALLAH aid us to be able to abide by HIS laws, protect us from any satanic influences and grant us Paradise by HIS RAHMAH (MERCY). Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 10th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1444AH (Tuesday 3rd January. 2023). THE MEANING OF MUHAMMADUR RASUULULLAH. BismilLah.  If as a Muslim you claim to be following our beloved Messenger of ALLAH, it means a confession with your tongue and a heartfelt belief, which means that you testify none has the right to be followed after ALLAH, but the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) as he is the Last of HIS Messengers. As ALLAH says in the Qur’an: “Muhammad is not the father of any man amongst you but he is the Messenger of ALLAH and the (last, the seal,  end) of the Prophets and ALLAH is Ever All-Aware of everything.” (QUR'AN 33:40). This basically means even the children of the Prophet have to follow him as a Messenger of ALLAH not only as a father to them. ALLAH says “And whatsoever the Messenger Muhammad gives you, take it and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain from it.” (QUR'AN 59:7). And ALLAH said: “Say (O Muhammad) (to ...
